A few days later Carrot Cake, Dazzle Cake,and Sweetie Blue received a letter in the mail saying that it wants all three of them to go to the EverFree Forest to join a cooking competition. All three of them were in surprise that the cooking competition was hosted in such a dangerous place. Carrot Cake thought the letter sounds legit while Dazzle Cake and Sweetie Blue disagreed with him. Then that was when Sweetie Blue said that she can pursue her future of becoming a cook.
Yet Dazzle Cake did not want to ruin her daughter's dreams of becoming a cook because she always wanted the best or her daughter and Dazzle Cake wants Sweetie Blue to follow her dreams. Even though Dazzle Cake did not want to come along because of the dangerous trip, she went along anyway to keep a close eye on her family. On the letter it said it was a 3 day trip. So the three of them started to pack right away. Dazzle Cake had to get a foalsitter right away so she chose Pinkie Pie since she lives with them and is family.Pinkie Pie is about the same age as Sweetie Blue, her cousin, just one year younger than her. Once done packing, all of the 6 ponies hugged in a big circle. All of them said they loved each other. Dazzle Cake kissed Pumpkin Cake and Pound Cake on the forehead.

Pinkie Pie searched inside out of the forest. Then she came across an apron that looked liked Mrs Dazzle's apron. It was her apron and there was a note on it. The note read ''For the pony who is reading this please go to Princess Celestia and Luna and especially Pinkie Pie in Ponyville that I will not make it out this forest.I wrote this note before I was killed by the pack of timberwolves, along with my husband and daughter. Pinkie, I love you and Pumpkin and Pound. -Dazzle Cake.''Pinkie's Mane went straight down, looking like her Pinkamena farmself. Tears of torture came to Pinkamena face. Pinkamena felt like she should not breath or move. It felt like her heart stopped beating. You could really see the pain in her eyes. Pinkamena quickly ran to the Friendship Rainbow Kingdom.

Due to the surprise that Pumpkin Cake and Pound Cake are different tribes not born earth ponies like there older sister and parents,Carrot Cake and Dazzle Cake stayed up all night looking at family pictures to find answers why there two young babies were not born earth ponies. After 2 weeks at looking at family memories, the two curios parents finally knew why there 2 new born foals were born different tribes. During the time when Ponyville was first found, Carrot Cake had a great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great great aunt who was a Pegasus. Dazzle Cake had a great great great great great great great great great great grandpa who was a unicorn. Mr and Mrs.Cake were so happy and relieved to find out that there 2 little foals were born naturally the way they should be. 2 months later, Pound Cake already learned how to fly but Pumpkin Cake is still learning how to use her magic which had troubled her parents since Pumpkin Cake is supposed to lift up a piece of paper at her age and she can't even lift it with her magic.

Pumpkin Cake and Pound Cake smirked. Once the 3 of them left the bakery, Pinkie Pie, Pumpkin Cake, and Pound Pie instantly began to have fun. All the ponies who passed by the bakery could only hear the laughing of the 3 cheerful ponies. Pinkie Pie did all kinds of cool things with the baby foals. About a couple of hours later while the baby foals were asleep, Pinkie Pie looked at the invention for the cooking competition and it said the competition was only for 3 days.Pinkie had been so much fun with the twins recognizing time sure does go by fast. Pinkie checked the calendar. It's been 3 weeks since Carrot Cake, Dazzle Cake, and Sweetie Blue has not yet returned. Pinkie Pie quickly grabbed the babies from their cribs and went running in fear to the EverFree Forest.

Pinkamena banged on the door. Twilight, who was the only one still awake reading books, quickly ran downstairs and let Pinkamena in right away with the baby foals not knowing what was going on. After Pinkamena gave Twilight the note, a tiny tear came to Twilight's eye. Twilight hugged Pinkamena for a very long time, infact for hours. Once the sun rose Twilight quickly called her friends and said to go on the train to Canterlot. The little baby foals still do not know their parents and big sister is dead because they are too young too understand. While on the train all of the 8 ponies went into a train caboose to talk about what was going on. Pinkemena still very devastated and started to cry even more. More all the 5 ponies hugged her. ''Pinkie.. I know it's kinda a bad time to bring this up but... uh... we kinda have to find guardians for Pound And Pumpkin Cake'' Rainbow Dash said. ''Why...'' Pinkiemena said like she was in stabbed. ''Well I noticed that Pumpkin Cake was having a bit of trouble with her magic the other day when you bought the twins over to the kingdom. I think that when we go to Canterlot, Princess Celestia, Luna, and I can help Pumpkin Cake with her magic, especially from strong alicorn magic.'' Twilight said. ''Ok... thanks...'' Pikemena said.
