DQ2 #4.5 Zecora's Visit

"YOU GOTTA HIDE MEEEEEEEEEEEHEHEHEHEHEHEEEEEE!"

Earlier that day.....

It was a calm, ordinary day in Ponyville. The townsfolk where in the market, eating and talking at eating establishments, and even just having a nice stroll. One of these townsfolk happened to be having a stroll in the sky.

It wasn't Rainbow Dash,  rather it was one of Ponyville's resident Dragon Warriors, Drako. Drako had taken to having a peaceful fly around the town after deciding to stay to be in the company of his brother and his new extended family, the Mane Six.

One of the Mane six had in fact become very significant to Drako, aside from his now sister in spirit Twilight and his brother's life mate Rarity. This mare was Pinkie Pie, who had taken a.....liking to Drako almost immediately. While hesitant at first, Drako eventually, for lack of a better word that doesn't imply weakness, succumbed to a serious relationship with the party planner. And he didn't object.

It was with thoughts of Pinkie that Drako went about his peaceful, relaxing flight. Then it appeared as though some of Pinkie's mannerisms had rubbed off on him, as he froze in midair after hearing Twilight and Fluttershy conversing about something.

"So Zecora is coming to teach you some foreign incantations?"

"Yup" Twilight confirmed "I've always found her culture fascinating, well all cultures really. I'm glad she was able to find time for me, she hardly ever comes to visit socially."

Twilight and Fluttershy stopped walking when they suddenly found Drako in front of them. He had come down rather quickly after regaining movement in his wings and body.

"Ah!" the two mares shouted in surprise simultaneously.

"Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa Whoa!" Drako said while holding up his hands, indicating for them to stop. "I'm sorry, haha, but uh, d-d-d-did you just say, um, Zecora?"

"Uh d-" Twilight stuttered, still recovering from the momentary startle. "Y-yes."

"Zebra from Africa?" Drako asked while gesturing with his hands.

"Yes"

"Got rings around her neck and wrist?" Drako indicated to said parts of his own body.

"Yeah"

"Mohawk?"

"Yes" Twilight was starting to get annoyed.

"Cutie mark of a sun even though she's not a pony?"

"YES Drako!"

"Lives in the Everfree?"

"Would you get to the point?!"

"Speaks in rhyme?" Drako asked as if Twilight hadn't just yelled at him.

"AND WE THOUGHT SHE WAS AN EVIL ENCHANTRESS WHO DOES EVIL DANCES AND LOOKING INTO HER EYES WOULD PUT US IN TRANCES YES YES YES ALREADY!"

"A-"

"She's coming over to teach me some incantations from her native land because I asked" Twilight said speedily before Drako could get a word in.

"Okay okay, calm down hermana. One last question. How much time until she gets here?"

"A half hour" Twilight said with a cocked eyebrow of confusion.

"Gracias hermana that's all I needed to know" Drako said somewhat hurriedly "Good day to you Fluttershy and goodbye." Drako sped off before Twilight could ask why he was asking all these questions.

"That was.....odd" Fluttershy commented.

Spike was enjoying a relaxing evening with his life mate, Rarity. They weren't doing much, in fact not anything at all. The couple was just lying on one of Rarity's fainting couches, cuddling. Rarity was snuggled on top of her drakefriend, who was holding her affectionately. The fainting couch in Rarity's home was being used more for the current activity nowadays. And neither individual was opposed to it. Most of all Rarity, currently, as Spike had unknowingly discovered her alternate erogenous zone. He was slowly rubbing one of her ears between his fingers, putting her into a state of pleasurable peace.

"Hm" Rarity peacefully sighed. I hope this moment never e-

Rarity's eyes shot wide open as she suddenly found herself flung to the floor immediately after the door to her boutique was slammed open.

"YOU GOTTA HIDE MEEEEEEEEEEEHEHEHEHEHEHEEEEEE!"

Rarity looked up in confusion to see her drakefriend being shook quite excessively by his older brother.

"Excuse me!" Rarity yelled incredulously "You're interrupting a peaceful moment between-"

"This does not concern you Diamond Butt! This is a matter between brothers!" Drako said, momentarily ceasing to shake his brother. He turned back after and resumed his shaking. "YOU GOTTA HIDE MEEEEEEEEEEEHEHEHEHEHEHEEEEEE!"

"Dude!" Spike exclaimed as he pushed his brother off of him. Spike lightly struck his head a few times to stop his eyes from spinning in their sockets.

"What is so urgent that you had to interrupt our moment?" Spike asked his brother angrily.

Drako brought up his hands as he began to speak slowly. "Zecora is coming, and you need to help me hide before she gets here because she will not be happy to see me."

"Why?" Spike asked.

"I uh, hahahaHAha! did something bad" Drako said nervously.

"Well I pretty much guessed that" Spike said "I meant why would you want to hide from her when you're this powerful guy?"

Drako pursed his lips with wide eyes before responding.

"She is one of only three mares that I'm afraid of. Because of the things that I've see her do."

"Wow, ok." Spike was surprised to hear this, as his brother had never claimed to be afraid of anything before. "So what did you do exactly?"

"A-" Drako stopped himself and his eyes shifted to Rarity, who was still sitting on the floor. She had raised herself up by her front hooves to address Drako, and the thought going through her mind as this exchange proceeded was What in the world is going on?!

"I'd prefer not to say in front of her" Drako indicated to Rarity. "So" Drako quickly leaned forward and struck the back of Spike's neck with his claw, causing Spike's eyes to flash green.

"Oh" Spike said as he came out of the info flash "Oh, oh bro that's really bad. Wait, half an hour? We  gotta move!" Spike leapt of the couch with Drako following.

"Wait a minute! Spike!" Rarity called after her drakefriend as he ran off.

"Sorry sweetie, but this is actually a life or death matter! I'll see you later bye!"

Drako and Spike sped downstairs and closed the door to the boutique after exiting, leaving behind a very confused Rarity.

"What just happened?!"

"Move! Move! Move!"

Everypony in town turned to see what was disturbing the general peace. What they saw was....curious to say the least. They saw the resident two dragon warriors emerging from the Everfree carrying large, rectangular boards of wood above their heads, two each.

The dragon pair halted suddenly when the oldest raised his tail with a gesture. Drako then used his tail to hold up the boards and placed his hands on the ground. He began to crawl on the ground, as if searching for a contact lens. He finally stopped near a bush next to somepony's house.

"Here" Drako said as he turned to his brother and pointed to the spot. Drako set one of the boards down on the spot after tearing the bush out of the ground and proceeded to trace around it with his tail. He removed the board once he finished.

"Okay now dig" Drako told Spike "Dig!" The dragon brothers began to speedily dig within the border with their claws, attracting stares from the townsfolk. One local decided that the mayor should be notified about this. The mayor was notorious for freaking out when big changes were made to the town without her knowledge. There's a reason why nopony apparently never paints their house a different color. The local citizen knocked on the door of town hall and was almost immediately answered.

"Hello Mayor Mare, I felt I should tell you that those two dragons are digging in the middle of-"

"WHAT ARE THEY DOING TO MY TOWN?!"

The Mayor sped off before the citizen could say anything else. Not that they had anything else in mind to say after the mayor's outburst.

"AH! NO!" the mayor yelled as she arrived at the hole that was still growing "NO NO NO NO NO! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! YOU NEED TO COME TO ME WITH A LEGAL DOCUMENT THAT SAYS YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO DO THIS AFTER YOU'VE AQUIRED MY SIGNATURE! I DEMAND THAT YOU STOP THIS NOW!"

"No can do Mayor, this is important" Drako told the hectic mare.

"Ahahaha" the mayor chuckled calmly "You say that like you have a choice in the matter. AH!" the mayor yelled as she jumped in to stop the dragon duo.

And thus began a rumble of............zero proportion. She was just hitting them with her hooves while they continued digging.

"Stop. Destroying. My town."

Mayor Mare soon found herself flung out of the hole by one of the dragon's tails. She landed on her rump with a slight bump, blinking her wide, surprised eyes. Her eyes quickly changed to anger and determination before she got up and charged to the hole. She leapt forward expecting to land back in the hole. Instead, she found herself suspended in midair above the hole. She looked down to see that Drako's tail was wrapped around her waist above the hole. She began to flail her limbs about in an attempt to get free, to no avail.

She eventually stopped and came up with something else. She lunged forward to try and reach the tail, but Drako moved it, causing her to stay in an upside down vertical position. She repeated this multiple times, now attempting to bite the dragon's tail. The mayor and the tail eventually became a blur of motion. It stopped when the mayor found herself wrapped in Drako's tail. That didn't stop her from struggling.

"Nnn, nnnnn, ARRRRRG"

"Don't get used to that Mayor!"

"Pinkie?" the mayor turned to see Pinkie now beside the hole.

"I'm the only one who gets to enjoy a tail wrap. And Rarity I guess, but from her own drakefriend. So whatcha up to Drakey?" Pinkie looked down into the hole as she addressed her drakefriend.

"Zecora's coming"

Pinkie let out one of her huge gasps and jumped in to the hole.

"I'll help!"

Spike looked at Pinkie questionably as she began to contribute to the dig.

"Pinkie!" the mayor yelled at the party planner.

"You've told her about this?" Spike asked his brother.

"I have not actually. She appears to be helping purely based on her feelings for me. Okay we're done." The dirt covered duo turned trio ceased to dig at Drako's signal. "Diane"

"Yes Dra- You only call me that for really serious things! What do you need?"

"Pipes. Bring me pipes of any size that when combined will vertically rise out of this hole and can be covered by a bush. Go."

"On it" Pinkie affirmed before zipping out of the hole.

"Now to the casket" Drako told Spike before they climbed out. The mayor meanwhile had stopped struggling upon hearing that the digging was done and was looking down at the large hole in the middle of her town with despair. Drako unwrapped his tail from the mayor and let her down on the ground gently.

"Why?" the mayor whined "Why would you do this to my town?"

"It's literally dirt mayor" Drako stated "I'll fix it after the threat to my life leaves."

"How can this ever be fi- wait what?" the mayor sobbed slightly.

"Let's just say I crossed Zecora in some way and that puts my life in danger when she's around" Drako explained "I promise I'll put this back the way it was when she's gone." Drako helped the mayor up and started to direct her back to town hall. "Now just go back inside, put on a pot of camo-mile, put on your slippers, and lie down without any worries. It'll all be fine."

"*sniff* I'm more partial to pomegranate tea."

"I don't care what you drink Mayor just please let me work."

"*sniff* Okay" the mayor said before reentering town hall.

Drako turned back and signaled to his brother. "Hermanito, come on, casket."

"On it" Spike replied.

"Here you go Drakey!" Pinkie suddenly appeared with a large amount of pipes in her front legs, which she immediately dropped in front of Drako.

"Thank you Diane. Now go home and wait for me while I wait for Zecora to leave so she doesn't kill me."

"Right!" Pinkie sped off and immediately came back "Whhhhat?! I'll blast that evil enchantress with my party canon before I let her hurt my Drakey!"

"Pinkie Pinkie Pinkie" Drako said calmly as he took his marefriend's face in his hands "Listen to me. Everything will be fine. Zecora is not going to kill me because I will be hiding in a large box in that hole you helped us to dig. Thank you for that by the way."

"Happy to help!" Pinkie replied happily.

"I know. Now I want you to go back to Sugarcube Corner, have a- some donuts and cocoa, and just wait for me, okay?"

"But Drakey, Zecora's coming to hurt you and I wanna" Pinkie was cut off as Drako gave her a caring kiss. Pinkie soon closed her eyes in bliss.

Spike watched on with wide eyes and pursed lips, rocking back and forth on his feet. After a few seconds he cleared his throat.

"Ahem, I thought time was a factor here Drako." Spike received a response from his brother in the form of a raised index finger telling him to wait. Drako finally stopped after a few more seconds and pulled away, with Pinkie keeping her lips puckered and her eyes closed, lost in the moment. She came out of it after a few more seconds and slowly opened her eyes. It was these little moments, that didn't lead to more amorous activities, that Pinkie loved about her relationship. The moments that made her heart flutter.

Drako addressed her after she came out of her trance. "Voy estar bien. Te lo prometo. Andale" he finished with a tilt of his head. Pinkie nodded with an "Okay" and walked to Sugarcube Corner.

"You know we've got like ten minutes before she gets here?" Spike said to his brother.

"Casket! Build!"

And in almost no time, the dragon brothers used three of the four boards of wood to make a casket without the top. But the size made it more like a crate. The pair then pushed the crate casket into the hole, which was about the size of three of the crate caskets stacked on top of one another.

"Now we're gonna use our fire breath to start welding these pipes into one."

"Got it." Spike and Drako proceeded to weld the pipes Pinkie had brought rather quickly. Within two minutes, they had their pipe conglomerations combined into one. Drako then cut a hole in the last wood board for the pipe to fit through. Drako then jumped into the hole, landing in the box, which was a head higher than him, so that he may walk around inside.

"Okay drop it" Drako told Spike. Spike then dropped the lid into the hole and followed soon to nail it shut while he held the pipe vertically with his tail.

"Okay" Drako spoke through the hole "Now fit the pipe in three feet and weld it to the crate. It will supply me with air and we can speak to each other through it. Now put the dirt back, make it look normal, and place the bush in front of the pipe. And tell Twilight and everypony else not to tell Zecora about me."

"Got it" Spike welded the pipe in and climbed out. He then very quickly put the dirt back, placed the bush, and proceeded to tell the Mane Six, starting with Twilight and excluding Pinkie, not to tell Zecora of Drako's presence. He left too soon to tell any of them the reason or for them to ask for a reason. He made it back just as Zecora began to enter the town radius.

"She's here" Spike said as he passed the concealed pipe. Drako knew, he could feel her presence and vice versa. This explained why she had stopped and began to look around with narrowed eyes.

A presence I sense Zecora thought to herself A presence I've not felt since.....

No, It couldn't be. Too great is his fear of me Zecora dismissed her feeling and proceeded to the Golden Oak Library.

For the next two hours, Drako paced, meditated, and rocked back in forth in a frightened fetal position while Zecora taught Twilight incantations.  She also acknowledged Spike's change via Fire Ruby ingestion. (Of course she knew) At the end of the second hour, Drako heard something and ran to the end of the casket, placing his ear to the wall. He caught the auditory vibration of Zecora's hoofsteps heading back to the Everfree. He narrowed his eyes before directing them to the pipe. He ran to it upon hearing someone striking it. He dove under the opening and spoke through it.

"Spike?"

"Yo"

"She's gone?"

"Yeah. Want me to start digging you out?"

"No need. I'm getting out with the Kiddo Method."

"Cool. Want me to time you?"

"Obviously"

Drako then raised himself by his tail and proceeded to punch through the wood and dig through the dirt. Spike began the timer upon hearing the first strike to the wood. He stopped the timer once he saw Drako's hand emerge from the ground. Drako pulled his dirt covered body out of the ground with a grunt.

"Man, that's a workout. Time?"

"Forty five seconds" Spike replied "Still the same."

"Damn" Drako said as he began to dust himself off "I'm gonna need more practice."

Drako turned around to see a very angry looking Zecora.

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHH-HAHAHAHAHAAAAA MY GOD!" Drako yelled in fear. "Zecora!" he continued in a nervous and happy tone It's so good to see you after all this time!" Drako began to back away slowly with Zecora advancing on him at the same pace. Spike meanwhile had also been startled by the zebra's sudden appearance and moved to the side, following his brother.

"So how ya been?! " Drako continued "Are those new neck and wrist rings? Or did you polish them like I said? Huh? Come on. You remember that right? The good times? The ones that were dynamite? Right? Right?! Come oooooooon, I'm gonna die aren't I?"

Spike finally decided to help his brother. He stepped in between the two while they kept moving.

"Zecora wait! Wait! I know what Drako did was bad, but it isn't that big of a deal. Kind of. Come on. I just got my brother back and he's been a great change to my life, he's helped me so much. I'm sure he has a lot of goods that outweigh that one bad."

"Truly sorry I am young drake. But it appears you will be attending your brother's wake" Zecora stated with extreme prejudice. As she finished speaking, Drako literally hit a wall, leaving no distance between him and the zebra.

Somehow (Pinkie) word got around that there could be some trouble with Zecora, and those who knew were now watching from their homes. Carrot Top was the most invested, eating popcorn.

"Zecora wait!" Twilight called out to the zebra as she ran out of the library to reach the confrontation. "I'm sure that whatever Drako did to you was bad, but he's been good by us, in fact more so. He saved Spike and helped him to unlock his true potential and helped him to finally get somewhere with Rarity."

"Hey we were already pretty much a thing before Drako came in" Spike pointed out.

"Spike hush!" Twilight exclaimed before turning back to Zecora "Drako's become a friend and a family member. Can't you leave it all in passed time?"

"Leave it in passed time?" Zecora said incredulously "Not after he gave me this curse of rhyme!"

"What?!" Twilight exclaimed.

"Yeah that is pretty ba- wait what?" Spike asked, confused.

"Yeah what?" Drako asked just as confused "You're mad about that?! Not about me sleeping with your sis- I mean giving you the one night stand treatment?" Nice cover

"Of course that's why I'm mad at you! You've no idea the hell it's put me through"

"Whoa whoa whoa! You can't be mad at me for that" Drako exclaimed "I told you that book didn't specify that reading the English translations of the spells would work."

"Wait wait wait" Twilight interrupted "You, are the reason she speaks in rhyme?!"

"A spell is" Drako corrected "I just read the English translation out loud" he turned to Zecora before continuing "From a book that didn't say that reading the translation out loud would work the same as reading it in the native tongue. So you can't place all the blame on me. Twenty percent max."

"Plus, who wouldn't want to speak in rhyme forever? That's the dream!" Pinkie exclaimed after popping up out of nowhere, per the...."norm."

"I'm pretty sure nopony has that dream Pinkie" Twilight told the newly popped up Pinkie.

"I bet poets do!"

"Stay out of this young mare. My business is with this dragon here." Zecora exclaimed, still looking to bring some sort of harm upon the dragon.

"That one was a stretch Zecora" Drako pointed out.

"Exactly!" Zecora replied angrily. She began to advance towards the dragon, but soon found Pinkie in the way.

"Zecora wait! You can't hurt him! I love him!" Pinkie exclaimed as she hugged Drako.

And that stopped Zecora in her tracks, her eyes going from narrowed and angry to wide and surprised.

".......I beg your pardon?"

Drako's eyes shifted momentarily to Pinkie before he put an arm around her. "Yes, we're kind of.....we are a thing. And we care for each other deeply."

Zecora looked back and forth between the two before responding. "Him?!"

"As opposed to you?" Everyone looked up to see the source of the comment, Rainbow Dash descending from the sky. "Is our Pinkie not good enough for some guy you were with?"

"What? No!"

"Um, I think Pinkie's good enough for him"

"Same here" AJ agreed with Fluttershy as they approached the scene.

"This is not the issue!" Zecora exclaimed to the group now with AJ and Fluttershy "This is about justice that is due!"

"For what?!" Rairty yelled angrily as she approached "Will someone, preferably Drako or my drakefriend, tell me what this is all about?!"

"You're just now coming out to ask this?" Drako asked the now present Rarity.

"Drako accidentally gave Zecora a rhyming curse by reading a spell out loud" Twilight graciously informed.

"Ah..............what?!"

"By accident" Drako reiterated. How many times do I have to say it?!

"You're the reason we have to listen to forced and annoying rhyme?!" Rarity asked Drako.

"I beg your pardon?" Zecora asked incredulously.

"Oh um, no offense darling" Rarity replied nervously.

"Some taken" Zecora replied with narrowed eyes. She knew her rhyming could become annoying, but she never knew one of the Mane Six actually detested it. It kind of hurt.

"Please don't take it personal darling" Rarity pleaded "But you must admit that it does get a little excessive."

"Precisely why I am mad!"

"Okay this is just going in circles" Drako pointed out. He walked up to Zecora and took his face in her hands.

"Zec, listen to me"

"Don't call me that"

Drako ignored her comment and continued "It. Was. An. Accident. That wasn't completely my fault. Yes, I'm sure it's added some hell into your life, but you're mostly in the Everfree alone anyway. Plus, everypony finds your rhyming charming, and it gives them a chance to think. They're good brain teasers, right guys?"

"Yeah" Twilight gladly chipped in "A lot of your rhymes are better than some of the riddles in my books. In fact I've taken down a few. I've spent a couple nights trying to figure out the meaning behind them."

"Really?" Zecora was surprised to hear this. She never realized Twilight was that fond of her rhymes. She reached up and removed Drako's hands from her face.

"Ah agree with Twah" AJ decided to add her two bits "In fact Ah feel a sorta kinship with ya word wise Zecora. We both say things that ponies get sometimes and sometimes don't. Ah've got my country-isms and you've got your rhymes."

"Why thank you Applejack" Zecora was touched to hear this "Perhaps we could compare notes back to back."

  That's not what AJ meant. "Uh.....sure.....maybe."

"And despite what I said earlier darling" Rarity said caringly "Your vocal quips are quite charming most of the time."  She approached Zecora and placed a reassuring hoof on her shoulder.

"And like I said, rhyming all the time is the dream" Pinkie interjected happily "If I could, I'd take your gift of rhyme. Not only would it make me happy, but there's the added bonus of getting to see you happy from not having a 'curse'." Pinkie ended with air quotes.

Zecora was at a loss for words due to the feels. To hear that Pinkie would gladly take on her curse just to hear her happy, and to be able to rhyme excessively.

Drako pointed to his marefriend before addressing Zecora again. "Listen to her Zec" He leaned in to whisper "Not about the curse switching thing. I, I mean we, have to live with her on a regular basis." Drako looked off into the distance as he recalled a past night with the pink mare.

You know what else rhymes with Drakey? Snakey, cakey, shaky, rakey, Jakey, flaky etc. Drako shuddered at the flashback.

"Um, I think your rhymes are very nice" Fluttershy said after Drako stepped back.

"Yeah um" Rainbow began as she rubbed her arm "Your rhyme talk is......kind of awesome or whatever." Rainbow was suddenly pulled from the air and trapped in a tight hug by the zebra, who was leaking tears of emotion.

"Sweet Celestia Rainbow" Zecora sobbed lightly and happily "That was so beautiful, my tears freely flow."

"Okay" Rainbow said as she patted Zecora's back "That's good. Let go now." Zecora didn't comply.

"Group hug y'all" AJ said as she joined the hug with small tears in her eyes.

"What? No" Rainbow replied "No! No No!" Everyone advanced and formed a big hug to Rainbow's  displeasure. "No, no no no ahhhhhhhh okay." Rainbow said in the forming of the hug and conceding. "Now we're all hugging. Hurray. Now get off."

Everyone complied, some of them chuckling a little at Rainbow's behavior. One pony however continued to hug Rainbow, and not Zecora. It was Applejack, who seemed to be enjoying the hug.

"Um AJ?" Rainbow said in confusion.

"Eeyup?"

"The hugging is done."

AJ's eyes shot open in surprise before she let go and backed away, blushing madly. "Right, sorry. Got caught up in the moment."

Zecora, Drako, and Rarity watched with interest. All thinking the same thing: Interesting Though Zecora was also thinking I suspected

Twilight was naively thinking It happens

"Very well, I shall let it go" Zecora got back on track "But before I leave, I must see something about your beau" she said to Pinkie. Zecora then walked up to Drako and looked deep into his eyes. She narrowed her eyes, cocked an eyebrow, and widened her eyes in that order. She ended with setting her eyes back to normal and backing away.

She turned to Pinkie to tell her the conclusion. "A fine match is what I have seen" then she turned to Drako with narrowed eyes "You better treat her like a queen."

"Yes mam" Drako replied fearfully.

Zecora approached Pinkie and whispered to her "If he hurts you, just tell me."

"Okie dokie lokie" Pinkie replied "But I won't need to. Drakey would never do anything to hurt me" Before that day comes She thought to herself.

"Still though" Zecora stated "Thank you all for your kind words. I now feel that I'm a part of your herd."

"Missing an S" Drako pointed out. Zecora shot him a glare that said 'Don't get me mad again.' "Sorry"

"I take my leave" Zecora said before turning around and heading back to the Everfree Forest.

"Bye Zecora" Twilight called "We enjoy your visits."

"As do I" Zecora called back.

"Hold on!" Drako called before catching up to the zebra. "Just out of curiosity, have you talked to your sister lately?"

Zecora shook her head "Spoken for a while, we have not. I don't much approve of her being a slut."

" Okay then" Drako said as Zecora resumed her journey back.

"That's why I wasn't mad about you two" Zecora called back.

"That explains that" Drako said before coming back to the group.

"You two who?" Pinkie questioned when Drako returned.

"What?"

"You two who?" Pinkie repeated "Who was Zecora talking about besides you?"

"........You of course" Drako replied calmly "She wasn't mad about the two of us being a thing."

Pinkie narrowed her eyes in suspicion. "Okie dokie lokie"

"Well that was fun" Drako said aloud to no one in particular.

"Yeah really fun" Rainbow said sarcastically "It was loads of fun having to be all sentimental and get trapped in a group hug."

"Yeah" AJ said dreamily while looking at Rainbow, who looked at her questionably. AJ quickly turned her head away, suddenly finding the sky very interesting, blushling lightly. AppleDash/RainbowJack

"Well" Drako said after clasping his hands "I've got some tension in need of relieving."

"I could help with that" Pinkie said as she walked up behind Drako and placed her front hooves on his shoulders. Drako wrapped his tail around her and placed her a few feet away.

"Simmer down Hot Pink. I meant a quick training session. Spike" Drako pointed to his brother "You up for it?"

"Sure" Spike replied, only to have one of his ear spines enveloped by Rarity's magic and be pulled back by it.

"Excuse me" Rarity said slightly annoyed "Don't think you're off the hook for leaving  me behind and keeping me in the dark about some gossip."

"AND YOU'RE NOT GOING ANYWHERE UNTIL YOU FIX THE GROUND OF MY TOWN DRAGON!"

"Yes Mayor!" Drako called back "We should probably do that first."

"Yes you should" Rarity agreed as she gave a slight tug to Spike's ear "But that's not your punishment Spikey Wikey." Rarity let go of Spike's ear and began to walk back to the boutique.

"Yes dear" Spike called out as Rarity walked away. Once she was out of sight, Spike grabbed his ear spines in pain. "Ow"

"Sorry to get you in trouble hermanito" Drako apologized.

"Ah it's fine" Spike said as he rubbed his ear "Bros before..." Spike stopped himself and looked around to see the majority gender giving him a questioning look "Mares. Bros before mares"

Everypony went back to what they were doing prior as the brothers began to dig out the casket box and pipe. Twilight returned to the library to catalogue Zeccora's incantations, Fluttershy returned to her cottage, Pinkie returned to her job at SCC, Rainbow returned to the cloud she was napping on, and Applejack headed back to Sweet Apple Acres to resume her chores, after she embarrassingly realized she had been staring at Rainbow as she resumed her nap.

"Oh boy! I can't wait to get on the forums about this" Carrot Top said as she moved from the window to her computer "The RainbowJack shippers are gonna love this!"
