All because of my headphones
I had just woken up. I put on my clothes, and hurried downstairs. I ate my cereal quickly, got on my coat, and bolted out the door. It was only a few blocks to school and I could walk. It was on the second block that I realized I didn't have my head phones. I ran back home, but when I opened the door and went in I found myself with four legs and a muzzle. I was a pony! I tried walking, and it felt like I was walking like a human but somehow easier.
I walked around for a while, and came across another pony. This pony had cream skin and a blue and pink mane. She smiled at me.
"Hey, Mashed Mallow!"
I guessed my new name was Mashed Mallow. This had all happened because of how I'd forgotten my headphones! I went to a cottage that said Mashed Mallow on a sign in front of it. It was a very beautiful cottage, I must say. Everything was in place, and the carpet and fireplace complemented each other nicely. The floor was made of marble, and there were bookshelves everywhere. I couldn't believe my eyes. I picked out a book on cacti and started reading. It was the most spectacular book I'd ever read. I didn't know that a cactus could have flowers. I looked through the cottage some more and discovered one hundred bits. I went to a nearby market and spent a few bits on a book, some marshmallows and a piece of cheese. I went home and ate a few marshmallows and a bit of the cheese. I sold a book on the art of karate to some filly with a bow in her hair, because I'm not a violent person and don't not want to become one. It sold for fifteen bits which got my balance back up to one hundred bits. I decided to save the rest for later and try to make friends with somepony out there.
I quickly found this really enthusiastic pony who she said she was named Pinkie Pie. She was very excited to meet me, and asked if I would be able to meet her friends. Despite not being the most social person you'd ever meet, this pony just looked so happy to meet me that I had to agree.
She led me to a big tree with a door and led me inside.
"I brought a new friend!" She said.
"Who is he?" A purple mare asked. I introduced myself and the other ponies smiled.
They were really nice and let me play everything with them. The one named Fluttershy was the kindest, and the one named Applejack was the most honest and Rainbow Dash was the most loyal, and Pinkie was the funniest and then Twilight was the smartest, and Rarity the most fabulous. Twilight even gave me a fiction book on Nightmare Moon... okay maybe that was true. When I went back home, I put the book that Twilight gave me on my fiction shelf and went to sleep. The next morning when I woke up, I ate breakfast and went to Twilight's library. I was the first there, so Twilight and I read books until everypony came. Then we did what we did yesterday, except I didn't get a book, and I told them my secret. The secret that i was from another world.
I didn't know how to get, back but they said that Twilight might have a book on how to get back. She pulled a book off of her highest shelf and gave it to me. She said that if I used the instructions I would be able to get back home, but she would only let me use it if I let them come with me. I agreed. We would leave at eight that night. When we left it was dark, but the items we needed were a piece of blue stone, a diamond as big as your head and a wand made of pure wood. We though that the piece of blue stone would be the second hardest, so we went after it first. The book said that it was in the mountains of Wonderment.
Twilight knew they were in the north east so we went that way. We soon found the blue mountains of wonderment. They were such a sight to see. When we finally got close it was 11:24 pm, so we went to sleep.
The next day we headed for the spectacular mountains, and went to one of the deepest mines. It was a very hard task. First off, it was dark so you couldn't see very well; second, it was really hard to get a blue rock when it was very heavy.
Apple Jack got an idea she asked Pinkie Pie if she had any rope. Pinkie Pie said she did, and they attached the rope to everypony.
They pulled as hard as they could, and they finally pulled out a rock that was blue. Then they ventured out to the south and crossed ponyville. When they finally got to the place of the wand made of pure wood, they had to do a challenge. Twilight was the one that accepted it. The challenge was to come up with the solutions to five riddles.
The first riddle was "What is attractive, and can only be used in the boys world? Oh, and it is addicting."
I quickly said "Electronics."
god said "Yes."
The next riddle was, "What can be as small as a pea, and as big as a building, but is not owned by the person who purchases it?"
Twilight said "A present."
god said "Right again."
The third riddle was "Who builds things and is not paid for them?"
the idea shot out of me "A lego builder" I was even surprised with myself.
The thing god said was "Correct!"
The fourth riddle was "What can be paid for but has to be used and your life depends on it?"
Fluttershy said "Water."
god said "Amazing!"
the fifth and final riddle was "Who do you love more than anyone but get in fights with a lot?"
that was hard but Rainbow Dash blurted out "Your siblings."
god said "You have done well, and I shall give you the wand of pure wood."
They thanked god and went west to the diamond. It was the last thing they needed but also the hardest. The rest that night was very hard for the herd as they were wondering how hard it would be to get the diamond as big as your head. When they awoke they ate some hay, and went on their way. At the diamond mines they could easily find a diamond as big as their head, but it was hard getting it out,. Well, not with Rainbow Dash around!
She pushed it out, and they all congratulated Rainbow Dash and Mashed Mallow. They united the items, and opened the portal after saying goodbye Mashed Mallow asked.
"Will I ever see you again?" Twilight said "When we need you the most you will return, and don't forget your book."
I said "Goodbye." one last time than vanished. When i got home i was running to school with my headphones on, and I made it in time.
