Scootaloo heads home to Ponyville after a disaster and outbreak led to the entire city and the land around it to be quarantined. Only her tapes were recovered.

You've seen the headlines. The Great Equestria Disaster, a city lost due to a unexplained 'meteor' incident. The spread of PN-3, a strange virus slowly spreading across the nation. Or nations, if the cases documented abroad were allowed to be leaked freely to the public. What if I told you that these two things were connected? I don't know how yet but I'm sure it's true. They are. I know I don't sound like much but I lived in Ponyville, a neighborhood in the city. And today, I'm making my way back.
I won't pretend that I have noble intentions. I don't.
But I'm going anyways and well, I have a lot of things to say on the way there.
