Dawn Heart and Moonlight Shadow had been separated at a young age during the events of the Lunar Revolution. Both end up fighting on opposite sides of the fight, Dawn being part of the Solar Empire and Shadow being part of the New Lunar Republic. Over time, they both have changing views on war changing their views in different ways while something else is stirring up behind closed doors between other soldiers that Dawn and Shadow know.

Notes: Co-writer is randomvillian of Funnyjunk. This story takes place around 200 years after the time of the actual show. OC characters are just characters and nothing more. I do not use them to idolize myself, I use them to write entertaining stories.
