Alright I have no idea how to start this thing so lets just get rolling with looks. Yes i'm a changeling but I don't walk around as one, i'm not an idiot thank you very much. Anyway my disguise is usually a male pegasus with an average type body. He has a green messy mane and gray fur. His cutie mark is one of a DJ table and his name is Silver Beats (i'll let you guess why).
Okay then, now that we have the physical description out of the way lets get with the story! uhh right...story.. Oh! I went to the market today and guess who was there! DJ Pon3. Yep that's right, the purple shaded wonder herself. Now I realize that as a changeling I shouldn't really be fanning out over anypony but the queen, but seriously, she is so..well...cool! I mean don't get me wrong the queens great but she just doesn't have that laid back vibe about her, you know what I mean?
Right well on with the story. So there I am as Silver trotting along to buy some apples (which i need to get rid of by the way) when everypony starts yelling and running towards the end of the road. Naturally I follow them (as a good spy would) and there by a small booth autographing is Vinyl Scratch herself! So at this point i'm kind of freaking out over the fact that my pony idol is in front of me (wouldn't you?) and I rush to the front to get a better look. I'm so exited to meet my idol that I don't see everpony stop and stare at me instead. I get to Vinyl and hold out my saddlebag for an autograph and all she does is stare with pinprick eyes in horror at me. It was at that moment I found that in my excitement I changed (enjoy the pun?) back to my normal form.
Now after that everything got all blurry and rushy (it's a word!) and I don't quite remember what or how it happened, but what I do know is that with me is my pony idol vinyl scratch and we are now in the woods. She's kind of passed out next to me right now after what I can only guess was an amazing amount of shock. My estimate is that I used a teleport spell to get away, but in my state of shock I put too much magic into it and took the closest pony with me. That pony being the one and only Vinyl Scratch.
Let me tell you something about teleporting blind that you may or may not know. It's extremely dangerous and should be used only as a last resort sort of deal. You might not think so now but just wait until you do so and end up halfway inside a wall. So I may not be inside a wall at the moment but I am instead lost in the woods with no idea how far away from town I am. Oh yeah.. the town I was in was Baltimare. Not a bad name seeing how 80% of the residents are mares. Oh well, that's not really important now seeing that i'm in wilderness central with pon3.
Okay so this might seem bad but at least it can't get...never mind it started raining. I gotta find somewhere out of the rain for Vinyl, hopefully doing so won't wake her up. Maybe in helping her out she'll see not all changelings are bad and we can be friends. How awesome would that be! Friends with DJ Pon3! Sigh..probably won't happen though, I mean I did sort of ponynap her. I can understand being terrified of a creature that just took you away from a place you thought to be safe. Yeah she'll definitely hate me..
Alright I found this cave away from the downpour outside. I got Vinyl inside without harm to either of us (plus!). Did you know Vinyl snores? I mean I would have never guessed. I probably didn't notice until now because of the whole freaking out over ponynapping my idol thing. Huh..weird the stuff you miss when adrenalines pumping. I also got this small fire going next to her (she's so lucky to have me) so she's warm. I knew those green flames would come in handy (hoofy?) one day.
Okay so its been at least a couple hours now because the suns going down. Vinyl's still snoring up a storm but she doesn't look like she's in any bad shape. She must have been tired from all the autographing or something (is that even tiring?). Okay i'm starting to get hungry, I haven't had any love since this morning's feed. The rains starting to slow down but I don't think traveling in the dark would be the best idea. Looks like Vinyl and I are staying in a cave for the night. Oh well, kind of reminds me of home in way; Its just way smaller than the hive I grew up in.
Figured before I went and slept through the night I would tell you just what I was doing in Baltimare before I ended up there. Not really a long story; The queen just wanted to a few changelings to live amongst the ponies for a while to get better knowledge of them. Of the few that went I ended up going in to Baltimare while the others went to someplace called Ponyville. Doesn't look like i'm going to be getting much information out of Baltimare now that my covers blown anyway. Wow i just thought of that...I can't go back to my home in Baltimare. To anypony reading this; No, I can't just disguise myself as another pony. Changelings need to be close to the subject that they are trying to replicate. I mean I could use Vinyl for that but come on! I'm not using my idol for my own goals, no matter how justified they seem. Alright..now that that's out of the way I can go to bed, wonder if i can still get Vinyl to autograph my saddlebags?

Just started writing so this whole ordeal should be pretty interesting, any comments or criticism is appreciated. Also Chrysalis is best changeling, and if she were a pony then yes, she would be best pony. Thanks for giving this story a view and enjoy.

Right so...Vinyl's gone. I'm not entirely sure where she went but I can guess she left while I was asleep. So change of plans. First I have to find Vinyl Scratch. (not stalking!) I'll search for her and figure out what to do after. I hope she's safe out there...who knows what type of animal she could run into. What if she's in trouble! Vinyl could be cornered by a manticore right this second! Okay..okay calm down I bet she just went to find the town and all is fine. Yep! No trouble at all...i'll be right back.
Thank the queen! I found Vinyl! Turns out she didn't leave as long ago as I thought. Found her trotting through some underbrush muttering something about no idea where she was. Just to be safe i'll stay out of sight for now. (totally not stalking!) There's no reason to frighten her anymore than she already is. No doubt being lost in the woods is stressing her out. Sigh...wow I feel terrible. After I found her I flew up through the canopy of trees to see where we were. I spotted some mountains so that means were now traveling west of Baltimare. I could turn around and leave Vinyl but seriously, after all I put her through I can at least make sure she gets out safe. Ughh, i'm getting hungry. I haven't fed since yesterday.
Managed to find a couple love birds flying around. (literally) Don't want to even say how degrading it was to feed off the love of a bird. At least I got a small snack out of it, and I mean small. Vinyl's in fairly good shape too. Only tripped a couple of times, and her manes only slightly askew! Not bad for somepony more at home in a city. Still... couldn't help but flinch a little when she did trip. Got to remember to stay out of sight now though. Chrysalis would pitch a fit if she knew my cover was blown. Maybe she'll be lenient if I bring some extra love for her with my terrible report. A changeling can hope right?
Suns high in the sky and I feel as though i've been here forever. I'm managing breaks as Vinyl stops every couple hours or so. I'm pretty impressed with her determination so far, most ponies start freaking out after the first hour of trotting. Looks like she's taking a nap now too. You know what? I just got an idea for I can get rid of those apples I bought yesterday.
Haha! You should of seen the look on her face when she woke up to two apples next to her face! Priceless! Still got a few more in my saddlebags so she should be okay for a while. I may have made her aware of somepony else out here, but hopefully she doesn't mind too much. I mean I did give her food (and ponynap her) right? Yeah I should be okay, at least for now anyway. She did call out to see if I would step out, but I don't really want to show myself just yet. (if ever) Looks like she's started moving again, better get going myself.
Vinyl's taking another break, figured i'd do the same. You know what? It just came to my mind that I haven't written why Vinyl (a pony no less!) became my idol. Let me first say that the music culture of the hive I come from is... well nonexistent. I mean there isn't much time to create art when you have to constantly look for new sources of love to survive. Which is the base reason Chrysalis sent drones out in the first place. So there I am on my way to Baltimare when I come across the pony who became my disguise. He looked to be in a hurry somewhere so I had to be fast about my next move. I flew above above the pony and dropped in on him for a surprise attack. (luckily nopony was close by to see) He struggled for a little bit but let me tell you, hooves are no match for changeling magic. When I restrain him I use my copy spell and he goes unconscious (wimp!), which is a little surprising because that doesn't really happen. (ever) He must of passed out from fright or something. (oh well!) Right, so now I look just like him and all his memories come popping into my head. From his talents to his weaknesses, I learn everything about him in only a couple minutes or so. It turned out that this pony was named Silver Beats and he was on his way to a concert for vacation. Which is great for me because it means nopony will worry about him being missing for a while. This concert was also a great way to get more knowledge on the ponies way of life, so I went along with Silver's plan. I get to this stadium in the middle of a park and get my first taste of pony music.
You can probably guess that the pony creating magic on that stage was Dj Pon3, but wow was it amazing! Having no experience with music in general probably made that moment all the more fantastic. But that doesn't take away the exhilarating feeling of the bass from her songs vibrating through my very soul! I was taken away from my thoughts of hunger and placed into the hooves of this music goddess, and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. In that moment I didn't feel like I was another changeling in the hive. I felt like everything coming from those giant speakers were made just for me. Thus my love for this electronic music seeded its way into my green heart, and the one responsible was a pony with purple shades and crazy blue hair. Ever since that day Vinyl Scratch has been in my mind, and this disguise I had stolen from Silver felt instead like my real self.
Too bad that I can't go back to that life in Baltimare though... the only thing I can do now is make sure Vinyl gets out of these woods safe. Hopefully by then i'll have a plan for what to do next. This hiding from my idol thing is starting to drive me crazy. Maybe if I change back into Silver and say hello she won't freak out? Sigh..who knows, that sounds like false hope anyway. Flying up shows the mountains only a day or so away now, and it looks like Vinyl is making a small shelter for the night. She's off to get more wood. Guess I can make a fire and hide before she gets back, at least making her more comfortable makes me feel better. Anyway i'm going to try to get some sleep, i'll write some more tomorrow.

Gonna be at least a few more days before I do any more work on this story, got a birthday in orlando to head to. Don't worry though, I'll get right back on it afterwords. Peace out bronies!
