A wandering unicorn musician by the name of Blue Rhapsody finds himself thrown in the middle of a struggle between the growing needs of the new Equestrian World and the echos of the past that struggle to remain as they once were. Leaving him completely unaware that a dark threat from the ashes of the old world and a pony from his own troubled past have him intertwined between their own machinations for the region. Despite how the cards have been stacked against him and how the wasteland works to corrupt his very soul, he remains a tiny candle, shining brightly in it's lonely vigil against the oppressive darkness.
