They got up slowly and what they saw both shocked and horrified them. Dead were ponies all around them, Buildings on fire, destroyed catapult's, and destroyed cannons. They walked around the town to see did any pony other then them survive. They only found dead body's and ashes of others. They noticed the tripod was gone but destroyed everything in it's path. "How could that thing do this" said Sweetie Belle. "I don't know but I bet that it is in a world of hurt" said Scootaloo. "I doubt it look around Scootaloo the guard didn't even damage it" said Applebloom sadly. "I agree with Applebloom everything the guard threw at it did no effect" said Sweetie Belle before noticing something in the sky. "Look". It was another cylinder that looked like the one before but heading by the Crystal Empire. "That is the thing we saw" said Sweetie Belle. "Do you think that is how that thing got here" asked Applebloom. "If so the guard could get it by surprise" said Scootaloo. "Yea then maybe they can destroy it" said Sweetie Belle. "Wait you think the mane 6 got out ok" asked Scootaloo. "Yea there train left before the thing got the other one" said Applebloom. "Well we could get to counterlot by foot" said Sweetie Belle. (looked like this only put ponyville there all destroyed) The tripod then started to walk down the mountain to ponyville to killing any thing that could have survived. Chapter 4 (Early Morning) The cutie mark crusaders were tired, hungry, and scared. Not one of them had any shut eye since the night of the first cylinder. They couldn't see the tripod but they knew it was near by the sounds of the royal guard trying to take it down. They kept moving silently and hardly one of the spoke a word. "Scootaloo still think we are in the fight" said Applebloom. Right after Applebloom said it there was the sound of screaming and over the hill smoke clouds were seen. "Well not as much" replied Scootaloo. "Hey you two I am tired cant we stop and take a break" said Sweetie Belle. "We cant that thing is near" said Applebloom. "Yea that thing is" Scootaloo was saying but got interrupted by a yawn. "Ok maybe just a little break". "Fine" said Applebloom. The three went beside to track and fell asleep in minutes. 30 minutes after Scootaloo slowly woke up and saw a member of the royal guard which said "We got another alive". Scootaloo looked around her and saw a carriage attached to some pegasi that were part of the guard with Sweetie Belle and Applebloom inside. "Your going to be ok" said same guard member. He lifted Scootaloo up carried her to the carriage and put her inside. "Ok" he then looked at the pegasi that were attached to the carriage and said "Get these three fillies back to Canterlot alive got that". The Pegasi responded and said "Yes sir" then flew off. The three looked back and saw 5 unicorns and 6 earth ponies royal guard members heading down the rail road to ponyville. "I cant believe we got rescued" said Applebloom. "I knew they would come looking for us" said Scootaloo. "Didn't seem like it" said Sweetie Belle. "Well that was because" Scootaloo stopped because she couldn't find a reason. "Well soon we will see our family" said Sweetie Belle. "Yea and our sisters" Applebloom said. "Yea" Scootaloo said but right after she said it she remember seeing her parents dead in ponyville. The three ponies knew there was no escape from it now as it aimed at them. All three of them started to have flash backs of before the invasion and all the good times they had. The seconds now felt like hours as the machine aimed the heat ray at them. Then it fired. Night of the arrival The cutie mark crusaders were having a sleep over in there tree house. They were getting ready to go to sleep when something caught there eyes outside. All three went running to the window to see what it was. In the sky there was what looked like to be a green falling star with almost a sparkling green trail following it. "What is that" said Sweetie Belle. "I don't know but it looks awesome" said Scootaloo. "What ever it is it is heading to the everfree" said Applebloom. It went out of there sight then followed by a small boom. "Maybe tomorrow we can go and tell other ponies of what happened". The other two agreed. They got back in there beds. "Good night" said Sweetie Belle. "Good night" said Applebloom. "Good night" said Scootaloo. Then all three fell asleep. At the crash site All around the crash site plants and trees were on fire. All the Animals and creatures stayed ran as far away from it as possible. The thing that crashed was a cylinder. A metal cylinder. It was silent there then there was the noise of unscrewing. The cylinder top was unscrewing then it fell off. A funnel rose from the cylinder looked around from the cylinder then went back in side. Chapter 2It was morning and the cutie mark crusaders got up and started to head out to ponyville. When they got there the royal guard was there with spears cannons, and catapult's. The cutie mark crusaders were confused what was going on then saw all the mane 6. They three ran to the mane 6. "What's going on" Applebloom asked Applejack. "I don't know Applebloom I wish I did" replied Applejack. One of the royal guards shouted "It's here" causing all the royal guards to load the cannons and catapults and grab there spears. The cutie mark crusaders ran to see what they were talking about. Then they saw it. A giant machine on three legs with the lights on the front and what looks like two arms and tentacles on the side then it sounded. Youtube Video Wonderbolts came speeding by to the machine and started circling it. The cutie mark crusaders ran back to mane 6 who were seeing the same thing they saw and was amazed by it. "What is that thing" Appleblooom asked Applejack. "I don't know" Applejack said. Then 7 guards came running to the mane 6. "Your going to have to come with us now" said a royal guard member. "Can we come" asked Sweetie Belle. "No there is only room for the mane 6 left" the guard replied. "I am not leaving with out my sister or my family" said Applejack. "I refuse to leave without my sister" said Rarity. "I wont leave Scootaloo behind" said rainbow dash. "Don't worry they will make it out on the next train but you 6 got to go now!" said the guard as the machine came closer. "Fine listen you three we will wait for you three at the next train stop ok" said Rainbow Dash. "Fine" said Scootaloo. "Let's move" the guard said as he and the 6 other guards headed to the train while the mane 6 followed. In the mean time there was a unicorn walking to the machine. The machine stopped and looked down at him. "We welcome you to Equestria" the pony said. The arms on the tripod aimed at the pony and before any pony else knew what happened it fired a beam at the pony that turned it to ashes. "One of the guard member yelled "Fire". There cannons, catapult's, and, spells were fired at the machine but to no effect. The machine had some kind of shield around it that stopped all objects before hitting it. The machine opened fire at anything living, moving, and in it's sights. The cutie mark crusaders started running to the train station as fast as they could. Ponies were running in every direction trying to escape the machine that was having no mercy. The machine tentacles reached for the wonderbolts flying around it and grabbed them. It then threw them to the ground killing them on impact. The cutie mark crusader were almost to the train station and saw another train there getting ready to leave. Right when the cutie mark crusaders one of the Machine's ray hit the train causing the train to blow up. The cutie mark crusaders were thrown to the wall by the blast that knocked them out.
