The CMC's Vacation

Cutie Mark Crusader Vacationers...yay!

Six months have passed since the Mane six teleported into the human world for a vacation before learning real quick how much of the positive and negative sides were on show the minute they explored the streets of London. The duration of that time was focused on combining both Equestria's magic and the human scientist's knowledge to create a stable and permanent teleport, one that would allow ponies and humans to travel through at will.

Of course, the events happening would not have been possible if it weren't for Princess Celestia and the Prime Minister coming to a negotiation agreement. Preparations were underway a week later after the mutual alliance was formed and as he made it his word, the nation of Britain would soon be educated about the Equestria Universe and this brought forward a nation that was very divided on the subject. There were many who were welcoming, but others were feeling the complete opposite.

Months went by before the teleportation technology was improvised and then perfected. The area where it was built then turned into a teleportation room with passport security put in place, cause you never know what kind of creature from Equestria could sneak out of that gate. On the other side of the portal, Celestia did much the same with her magic before placing the teleport on an empty green field spot in Canterlot, before several houses were built to accommodate the humans who wish to take a vacation in Equestria, although it was very much early days.

Today in Ponyville, Applebloom was smiling happily, because she was going to have her first vacation in the human world. She wouldn't be alone as Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo would also be with her. At first, took a lot of convincing and a day of begging towards Twilight to let them go away for a while, eventually though, they gave in.

"So are ya'll ready and packed to go?" Applejack asked as she placed a few apples in Applebloom's saddle bags.

"Ah'm ready and it's gonna be amazin'!" Her little sister replied as she jumped in excitement. "Ah can't wait!"

"Now don't get too ahead of yourself, sis, you three must stick together at all times."

"We will, it's not like the three of us will be in trouble and ya just jump out of nowhere in ya leather boots ya keep hidin'."

Applejack blinked in confusion.

"What in the hay is that supposed to mean?"

"Just a feelin' ah'm gettin'."

"Well either way, ya might see Pinkie Pie in the human world, she's openin' her first party shop over there."

"Awesome!"

The sisters then left the house and caught a train to Canterlot and walked over to the newly developed accommodation area for humans with a big teleport at the far end, protected by Celestia's unicorn guards where Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo were already there.

"So, ready to find out how cool the human world is, squirt?" Rainbow asked as she messed with Scootaloo's mane.

"I don't think you need to ask me that. I already know that this is gonna be awesome!" Scootaloo answered confidently.

"Yeah...just as long as you know who doesn't keep you waiting."

"Are ya talkin' about us?" Applejack asked with raised eyebrows as she and Applebloom showed up.

"No, I mean Rarity." Rainbow replied as she folded her hooves. "I know that she's busy setting up a fashion store in London later today, but that doesn't mean she should keep us waiting."

"If ah remember correctly, it's Sweetie Belle these two are waiting for."

"Why did ya ask me that for? I'm not going!"

"Neither am ah! Ah'm only 'ere to just make sure they have a safe journey and a good time on the other side."

Scootaloo looked at Applebloom who seemed to be a little embarrassed.

"This is getting awkward for you, isn't it?" Scootaloo asked.

"Tell me about it." Applebloom muttered.

Shortly afterwards, Sweetie Belle turned up with more than a saddle bag along with Rarity who had one of her recent made dresses on.

"We're here!" Rarity called.

"About time!" Rainbow exclaimed as she flew her hooves in the air.

Rarity glared back, feeling displeased.

"I am going to ignore that sudden remark as this is about the Cutie Mark Crusaders and thier vacation away from Equestria." she added. "I will also be going to check over how my newly recruited human staff are getting along in my new fashion store in London!"

"Blah, blah, blah." Applejack muttered.

"Well girls, we better get going and start our vacation." Sweetie Bell said.

"Have a great time over there and ya'll stay out of trouble, ya hear?" Applejack asked.

"We will!" they replied back in unison.

"Don't worry dears, they'll be under my eye for a few moments." Rarity said as they began to walk into the teleport before they were out of sight.

Just then, Spike appeared and was running towards them with a book.

"Wait! Wait!" he panted. "Hold on you-woah!"

He got cut off as he tripped up on the grass before getting up and grabbing the book.

"Please guards, you have to let me through...I have Twilight Sparkle's approval."

The guards moved thier wings away and Spike jumped into the portal.

Meanwhile, in the human world, the central spiral in the portal began to spin before a bright light appeared. The light then dimmed as the three fillies and Rarity arrived, stepping out of the portal and opening thier eyes to see the security office and the hallway exit.

"WOW!" The three fillies yelled in excitement.

"This is awesome!"

"So cool!

"It's like mah sister said in her stories!"

"Now now, dears." Rarity intervened. "Since this is your first time here, you'll have to sign in an arrival form, they'll take you through the rest of the procedure. And as much as I wish to help keep you safe, I have to go to my fashion store which is not far from here."

"Is there anything else we need?" Sweetie asked.

But before Rarity could answer, the portal spun up again before Spike appeared, leaping out before landing on the floor, face first.

"Ugggghhhhh!" he moaned as he got up.

"Why my little Spikey Wikey, what are you doing here?" Rarity asked.

"Sorry for the interruption, but Twilight asked me to give you three this book." he replied, handing the book over to the fillies. "It's the guide book that Twilight used when she visited this world, it provides all the information you need to know about things around here."

"Thanks Spike, we'll take it from here." Scootaloo replied.

"Oh and umm, I was asked to keep an eye on you three."

"WHAT?!" The three fillies asked in shock.

"Look, don't hurt the messenger, but Applejack was really worried that you would get in trouble. But that's not all...Twilight thought I could do with the exercise."

"Well...so much for our vacation." Applebloom moaned.

"Awww come on, we can still have fun." Scootaloo assured.

"Yes indeed, now I have to go to my fashion store, be safe and enjoy your vacation" Rarity said as she began walking through the security arrival door. "See you back in Equestria in a few days, bye bye, darlings."

"Bye Rarity." the fillies replied happily.

"Yeah uhh...bye errr...Rarity." Spike sighed.

"Uhhh Spike, we need to go." Sweetie said, waving her hoof in front of him.

"Oh uh yeah! Twilight says that a hotel near here is the best place to start."

"A hotel? I thought we were gonna go out camping" Scootaloo protested.

"There'll be time for that later, right after you got yourselves settled into a hotel room."

"Fine..." Applebloom muttered.

During the explanation of the security for pony arrivals, one of the team members was going through his usual paperwork before he spotted the dragon with the fillies.

He suddenly gasped, got up from his chair and pointing his finger at Spike, he shouted. "TWENTY THREE NINETEEN!"

Everything suddenly stopped as the people, the fillies and Spike all blinked at the employee's sudden outburst.

"What?" Spike asked, "Why are you pointing at me? Is it because I am a dragon? That's not cool, dude."

The manager showed up and began to calm the employee down.

"John, I won't tell you again." he scolded lightly. "Sit back down, get on with your work and leave that dragon alone."

"Yes boss....umm, I'm sorry."

He then sat down and took a glass of water with a few tablets before everything else got moving again.

After they went through security, the fillies and Spike exited the building and looked all around the view of what they saw as London. There was a hotel just across the road from them and Spike pointed at it.

"Over there, ponies. That hotel looks good to me."

They shrugged before following Spike and crossing the road safely till they were at the hotel entrance.

"Well it has a little bit of my fashion style." Sweetie commented.

"Oh please..." Scootaloo remarked. "...we don't need a mini Rarity with us."

"Scootaloo!" Applebloom scolded. "That ain't nice!"

"Nah it's okay, she was just trolling you." Spike intervened.

"Wait, what's trollin'?"

"Oh, you didn't know?" Scootaloo asked. "Your flank better caaaaaaall somepoooonyyyyy!"

All the others could so was stare at her sudden behavior.

"Oh, guess I haven't told you what Rainbow Dash learnt from this world, yet." she said, laughing a little awkwardly.

"Can we just skip this part of the story?" Spike asked out of nowhere.

"No Spike!" the story-writer replied. "This is about the fillies, not you. Leave me alone!"

"Fine!"

"Spike, who are you talking to?" Sweetie asked who was slightly worried.

"Nopony...let's just go inside. I'll let you fillies pick a hotel room and we'll do the rest."

In no time at all, they walked to the reception and after a quick greeting, they were given hotel room key to room 123 which during thier elevator ride up to the first floor gave Scootaloo an excuse to mutter a few singing words. They got out of the elevator when they reached the first floor and walked down the hallway before finding room 123 with the number on it.

"This is our place." Spike said.

"We can read just fine, Spike." Applebloom replied.

"Abc....easy as 123..." Scootaloo sung quietly as she grabbed the key with her mouth and tried to fly up, but she didn't get far. "Darn...I still can't fly...yet..."

"Leave it to me." Spike said as he took the key from Scootaloo.

He jumped high and held on the doorknob with his free claw and used his other claw to unlock the door with the key. He opened the door and then jumped down. They then walked in to find the room was a very welcoming one.

"This look so much better than mah bedroom...don't tell Granny Smith that." Applebloom said.

"There's more than enough for the three of us in that bed." Sweetie added.

"But where are you gonna sleep, Spike?" Scootaloo asked.

"Oh not to worry, I'll just use any of the bedding you're not using, I'll be fine on these chairs." he replied. "Now let's get unpacking."

Sometime later, the unpacking was done and for the moment, Scootaloo was bouncing on the bed.

"Boom boom, shake shake the room!" she yelled happily.

"We should probably leave her be for now and think about what you three wanna do during your vacation." Spike suggested. "There's a few places like Pinkie Pie's sweet shop she opened here a few months ago but I'm not sure if she will be there today, or there's Rarity fashion store you can go to, but you can leave me out of the fashion nonsense, unless Rarity wants me for something."

"What about the camping one like we originally wanted to do?" Sweetie asked.

"I don't know, we would have to be really careful about it." he then picked up the guide book and placed it on a table  "But since you came up with the vacation, Applebloom, what do you think we should do?"

A. Go and visit Pinkie Pie's Sweet store.

B. Visit Rarity's fashion department.

C. Follow through with the camping trip as originally planned.
