Twilight was reading one of the books from the several stacks she had out, as you'd expect.

She then puts that book away with her magic and walks over to one of the shelves. She levitates one of the books out, and Pinkie Pie was in that spot where she pulled it out!

"Watcha doin'?" she squeaked.

"AAAGH!" Twilight screamed in surprise.

"'AAGH' yourself!" Pinkie greeted as Twilight gave her an annoyed look (Blue swirl hovers above Twilight as she is annoyed).

"But that doesn't answer my question, silly," Pinkie said as she giggles.

"Just some genealogical research," Twilight answered as she levitated the book she dropped.

"Ohhh," Pinkie answered as she comes out of the shelf. She's confused, not knowing what genealogy is.

Spike was carrying scrolls to the stack he set up, using some of the books on the floor as steps for him to put the scrolls on top.

"I don't know what that is," Pinkie Pie whispered to him.

"Genealogy is the study of family history," Spike explained as he sets the scrolls down on the pile. "Y'know, where ponies come from, and who they're related to."

"Ooh, interesting," Pinkie thought.

She then goes to the stack of scrolls and take one from the second bottom with her mouth.

"Maybe you should pick one from the...." Twilight said as Pinkie opens the scroll she has and the tower is still standing. ".......top."

It was like Jenga, yet that defies gravity!

Twilight and Spike look at each other as to how that stack is still standing.

Pinkie rolls down the scroll. It goes down the stairs and outside as she reads.

"Uh-huh...." she began reading down. "I see..... Hmm, that makes sense..... Not much of a surprise there......"

"WHAT?!?" Pinkie then shouted.

Twilight opens the window as she and Spike see Pinkie Pie outside looking at the end of the scroll.

"This is the most amazing thing ever! Why didn't you tell me how amazing this is?!" she exclaimed and goes all over the place. "Genealogy is better than cotton candy on top of a fountain of chocolate!" she was above at the end of that line, and thus, she falls to the ground. "You'll never believe who it says I'm related to!"

There was knocking and the door and it was answered to see Pinkie Pie.

"Hey, cousin!" she greeted Applejack, who answered the door.

Pinkie then immediately gives Applejack a hug, who gives a flustered look to what she was talking about.

Sweet Apple Acres.......

In the farmhouse, Pinkie Pie told the Apple Family about the fact that she's related to them.

"This is just so excitin', I can hardly believe it!" Applejack said with joy.

"I KNOW! Isn't it the best?!" Pinkie, on the couch, commented in an ecstatic tone.

"I have another sister! I have another sister!" Apple Bloom hopped excitingly next to the pink pony.

"Well, you actually have a fourth cousin twice removed by a fifth cousin, (Apple Bloom rolled her eyes at Pinkie's explaination) but that's like, EXACTLY like a sister!" Pinkie squeaked (Squee sound by Pinkie as she smiles).

"I'd try to tone it down a little around non-family members," Applejack remarked with her front left knee on Big Macintosh's side. "because I don't want to make them jealous, but..."

"This is the best family ever!" Apple Bloom bounced happily on the couch and then springs up from a spring that pops out from the couch.

"It really is. You are gonna LOVE bein' an Apple," Applejack said as she covers the spring with a pillow and Apple Bloom thus on the ground and her eyes revolved for a second. "I mean, you've got the playful one..."

Apple Bloom hops off, bounces on a beach ball...

And then crashes. Pinkie Pie claps her hooves at that.

"The strong one..." Applejack continued.

"Eeyup," Big Macintosh grunted, lifting up the stove. Then the pie on the stove splats on his face.

"And of course, there's Granny Smith, who knows everythin' about everythin'!"

"A Ponyville snail can hibernate for up to forty-eight moons!" Granny said on her rocking chair.

"Whoo knew?" Pinkie Pie remarked.

"And then, there's me," Applejack walks to the open window door and sniffs the air and exhales. "You smell that sweet apple air, Pinkie Pie?"

Pinkie sniffs the air.

"That was rhetorical," Applejack covers her mouth before she says anything. "Of course you smell it. [Opens the door and is on her hind left leg] You're an Apple now! [Goes back on four legs]"

"And Applejack is the one responsible for it!" Apple Bloom runs outside and complimented.

"Aw, Apple Bloom, that is sweet, but--"

"It's true! I mean she keeps us all organized and on schedule and does her own part on top of it all!"

"Mm-hmm," Big Mac and Granny Smith nodded as Applejack blushes.

"I was already super happy as a Pie!" Pinkie Pie said as she hops happily. "And now I get to be a part of this family too?"

"It's even more amazin' now that you're in it!" Apple Bloom said as they both turn their heads and march while she's says rhythmically, "We're family, we're family, you an' me are family!"

Pinkie Pie twirls out of control, however.

"Best family twirl EVERRRRRRR!" Pinkie Pie shouted out of control-like and then crashes.

"Huh, I just can't believe we've never heard anythin' about this before!" Applejack said, looking at the scroll. "Hmm....."

"What's wrong, sis?" Apple Bloom asked.

"I'm not seein' where it says we're family."

"It's riiiiiiiii- *inhales* -iiiiiight here!" Pinkie Pie went through the barn and pointed to the bottom of the scroll.

"It.. is?" Applejack said.

"Uh-huh. Applesauce of the Apple family lineage is a fourth cousin twice removed of the Pie family!" Pinkie Pie shows the paper onto her face.

"[With the scroll in her face] I see the part about our [Holds the scroll] great, great auntie Applesauce and fourth cousin twice removed part, but that last bit's awful smudged. Are you sure it says 'Pie'?

"I guess it is a little smudged," Pinkie said, looking at the scroll. "but I see most of it there, and when I read it, I knew in my heart it was true!"

"Well, ain't that just the sweetest thing!" Granny Smith said as Pinkie group hugs with the Apples except for AJ.

"It is, it is," she said. "I'd just hate for us to get all excited before we found out for sure."

"So how are we supposed to find out for sure?" Apple Bloom said as she kicks the dust with her front left hoof.

"Ehhhh... Oh! Cousin Goldie Delicious!" Granny Smith suggested. "Her cabin's practically an Apple family history museum! If anypony has the records to back up Pinkie's theory, it's her!"

"Huh, I suppose we could always.. I mean, Goldie Delicious doesn't live that far away, and we haven't been on one as a family in a real long time..." Applejack said as each of the other Apples had smiles their faces, as did Pinkie Pie. "Are y'all thinkin' what I'm thinkin'?"

Pinkie nodded "yes".

"FAMILY ROAD TRIP!" the whole Apple Family said.

Pinkie Pie seemed happy for this as well. This should be fun!

Later that day, Big Macintosh was loading the wagon with a LOT of bags and other belongings. Apple Bloom walks to the wagon with her bag in her mouth, and he puts her in the wagon.

"Has anypony seen my travelin' bonnet?" Granny Smith came out of the barn with annoyed look on her face.

"Isn't that it on yer head?" Apple Bloom said.

Granny looks at it on her head.

"No!" she answered in an annoyed tone as she walks over.

"It looks an awful lot like--"

"Well it ain't, and that's final!"

Applejack comes out of the barn with her saddle bag.

"Hey, everypony? Since Pinkie Pie's back home gettin' her stuff for the trip, can y'all gather round? I just wanted to say somethin' real quick."

"I've had somethin' in my teeth this whole time, haven't I?" Granny Smith said with one of her teeth sticking out. "Gadsnickety, what a way to welcome a family member!"

"Er, no, Granny, your teeth are fine," Applejack said. "I just wanted to be sure that we're all on the same page about showin' Pinkie Pie how awesome a family we really are. We want her to get to know the family she's been born into. But, like, the BEST version of it, y'know?"

"Oh, *blows raspberry*. Don't you worry, honey," Granny Smith puts her cheek against hers. "We're a great family, and she can't help but see it."

"I'll bet my future cutie mark's gonna be a picture of me bein' the best behaved pony ever!" Apple Bloom hopped out the wagon. "That's how good I'm gonna be! Big Mac?"

Big Mac puts down the basket of apples and chuckles.

"Hmhm, eeyup."

"Are y'all ready to go? Because I'm ready to go-go-go!" Pinkie Pie showed up with a lot of party stuff in her saddle bag, streamers and confetti coming out.
