Azure laughed quietly at Bay leaf as she joked around with the other guest while drinking her apple cider. It had been 3 years since Alley had left to Manehatten for college, 3 years since their break up, and it still felt like it had been forever since Azure saw her.  They barely wrote anymore, but Alley would make sure to always send a postcard for the holidays. Today however, even though it was Christmas eve, she hadn't received one from her former mare friend and began to wonder why not. It kinda put a damper in her mood but her friends were determined to cheer her up.

They had a small get together, you know, eat out, come back, get drunk a little, the usual.
