CMC get their cutie marks!
Like every other Wednesday, the Cutie Mark Crusaders were on their way to the princess' castle, for Twilight time.
Once they got there, Twilight invited them in. This was their first time in the castle, and the Fillies were quite in awe!
Apple Bloom stepped inside, and said "Twilight Sparkle, The Princess of Friendship! Wow, were so lucky to be your friends! I can't wait to get started!"
Scootaloo parked her scooter outside, and exitedly asked "So what should we do first? Can you give us a tour of this awesome castle? Please!"
Twilight replied "Well, I guess we have time before we start out studies! Come on, I'll take you to the throne room first!"
Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, and Apple Bloom ran ahead of Twilight, and yelled "CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS CASTLE TOURISTS! YAY!"
Twilight sighed "What would a castle tourist cutie mark even look like?"
After taking the three rambunctious fillies around the castle, they went into the main room to practice with Twilight.
Sweetie Belle was working on a song she was writing. She sang "My friends and I eat pie, and say bye, while doing dives! No I'll never be good at writing lyrics!" 
Twilight walked over to Sweetie Belle "Sweetie, your doing great! Keep up the good work! I'm going to go check on Apple Blooms garden!"
Apple Bloom was watering her mini garden that Twilight was helping her grow. In a cardboard box, she had a little Apple seed starting to grow out of the soil, and four little flowers growing in the corners of the box. Twilight admired the plants and said "Wow, Apple Bloom! Maybe you should get your cutie mark in gardening!"
"Thanks, but I'm not sure it's very fun. But I'll keep it up! You may be right!"
Scootaloo was drawing out her plan for the ramp she was going to build for her scooter, as Twilight came over, and said "Great job Scootaloo! Maybe you should start building it! I'll help you gather materials!" Twilight went in her backyard and gathered some fire food, and a saw for Scootaloo to use. "Now, be careful, I don't want a bunch of cut off limbs, or sawdust in my castle!"
Scootaloo yelled "Don't worry I will!" As she ran outside to start building her ramp.
Twilight helped all three fillies, and afterwords they all went back to their clubhouse.
When they got there, there was a newspaper taped on the door. It was titled "Come display your talent at the PonyVille parade! All ages welcome!"
Apple Bloom said "Perfect! I know just the routine for us to do! And we might even get or cutie marks!" They went inside, and got a huge banner, two apples, and then, the three fillies ran off to the address on the paper.
The parade manager was a tall thin, funny looking pony, and he was auditioning a pony doing cartwheels down the road while juggling with her mouth. "You're in!" Said the parade manager.
When it was their time to show their stuff, they walked up to the man, and said "We are the Cutie Mark Crusaders, and we're going to do a short routine for the parade." They got in places, and started. Scootaloo drove her scooter through a banner Sweetie Belle was holding with her magic, and then Apple Bloom threw an apple in the air for Scootaloo to catch with her mouth. Every thing worked out perfect, and the manager said that they could be part of the parade!
The next morning they met at the clubhouse, and disscussed their routine again. Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom thought their parts weren't significant enough, so Sweetie Belle decided to sing the PonyVille anthem while holding the banner, and Applebloom wanted to paint the banner, and paint Scootaloo's scooter. Scootaloo liked her blue and red scooter, but for the sake of he parade, she let Apple Bloom paint it purple. They spent all afternoon preparing for the parade.
At 6:00 right outside of townhall, all the talents performing in the parade were lined up. The Cutie Mark Crusaders would be the last to perform.
The first group was a band of instruments playing the PonyVille anthem, and sweetie belle sang along quietly while watching them pass. There was a little float that passed by, decorated in beautiful paintings. Apple Bloom admired the talent that it must have taken to paint that float. As a huge crowd of motorcycles passed by the parade, Scootaloo high fived them. After 10 more groups passed by, it was their turn to end the parade with their amazing routine.
Once all of them passed by they calmly followed the cartwheeling pony onto the street to do their routine.
Sweetie belle started singing the anthem, but her mic wasn't on, and she tried to lift the banner, but Apple Bloom made the paint to thick, and the banner was too heavy to pick up with her weak magic. Scootaloo went charging towards them so she could break through the banner that hadn't been lifted yet, but Apple Bloom through the apple at her face, so Scootaloo swerved out of control and ran into the cartwheeling pony in front of her.
The whole crowd gasped! Scootaloo was face-first on the pavement with an apple smashed on her face, Sweetie Belle was laying on the ground, exhausted from trying to lift the banner, and Apple Bloom was kneeling by Scootaloo helping her up. They walked away in guilt, shame, and embarrassment.
The three fillies parted, and ran to their own homes.
When Scootaloo got to Rainbow Dashes cloud house, Rainbow flew her up, and said "Scootaloo! What happened? Are you ok?"
Scootaloo avoided her question, and just ran up-stairs and cried in her pillow. Rainbow Dash tip-hoofed in to her room. Rainbow whispered "Hey squirt, what's got you down?"
Scootaloo cried "I fell on my face in the middle of a routine my friends and I made for the parade, and I ruined everything!"
"Oh, kid, that's harsh! I'm so sorry! You should get some rest, you can sleep here until your feeling better." Rainbow Dash saw the scratches on her face, and cleaned them out with her first-aid kit.
As Sweetie Belle walked in to Carousel Boutique, Rarity said "Sweetie? Why are you so sad? Were those school fillies bullying you again?" Sweetie Belle hugged her sister, and cried "I failed my friends! I couldn't lift the banner with my magic, and the mic didn't turn on, so I couldn't sing! I'll never get my cutie mark! My friends probably hate me!!"
While she was still sobbing, Rarity kissed her cheek, and said, "Darling, your not a failure, and I'm sure your friends don't hate you! You should get to bed, I'm sorry you had a bad day. I love you!" Sweetie Belle slowly walked upstairs, slammed the door, and cried herself to sleep.
When Apple Bloom got to Sweet Apple Acres, she stormed into her bedroom, and tore down all her drawings, and ripped them up into shreds. She was sobbing so loud that Granny Smith heard her from downstairs, and the whole family went to her door to find out what was wrong. Apple Bloom was crying in her bed, when Apple Jack, Big Mac, and Granny Smith quietly came in her room, and comforted Apple bloom to sleep.
On Monday, none of them came to school, in fear of seeing eachother. Mrs Cheerilie started to get worried, so she visited their houses. but Rainbow Dash, Apple Jack, and Rarity said that they weren't home, (but of course they were.)
On Wednesday, Twilight was waiting for the girls to come for Twilight time, but she heard about the accident.
Twilight flew over to Rarity's house, and Sweetie Belle opened the door. Her eyes were red from crying, and she was in one of her sisters pink robes. When she saw Twilight, she shut the door on her face. Twilight said "Sweetie Belle, I heard about the accident, and I really want to help you sort things out with your friends!"
Sweetie Belle cried "No! They will never forgive me for ruining the parade! They never want to see me again!"
Twilight said "Sweetie, don't you think your over-reacting? I know it was embarrassing, but your friends need you!"
Sweetie Belle opened the door slightly, "I guess I am over-reacting... But what if they blame me for ruining everything?
"Knowing your friends, they would never blame you! Trust me. Come on, come with me to Apple Blooms house!"
Sweetie Belle took off her robe, brushed her mane, and walked over to Apple Blooms house with Twilight.
When they got there, Apple Jack answered the door, and said "She's up stairs."
Twilight stayed outside, and Sweetie Belle trotted up-stairs. When she opened Apple Bloom's door, Sweetie Belle whispered, "Im sorry I wasn't able to lift the banner, it was all my fault."
Apple Bloom sat up and said "No, it was my fault for making the paint too heavy... Your not mad at me? I skipped school and everything just so you wouldn't blame me..."
"That's exactly how I felt! Of course I'm not mad at you!" Sweetie Belle said, as she hugged Apple Bloom.
After sorting things out, They walked over to Rainbow Dash's cloud house. Since she had wings, Twilight flew up, and knocked on the door. Eventually she flew Scootaloo down to talk with the girls.
Scootaloo agreed with the girls that nopony was to blame, and they should never of been afraid of talking with eachother, over something so silly. They had a big group hug, and went to the parade manager to apologize.
After they had Twilight time, they went to Sugarcube Corner to get some cupcakes. Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy were there, and they said that they wanted to see they're routine!
The next day, Everypony met outside of Sugarcube Corner to watch the Cutie Mark Crusaders routine.
With an audience of 15, they started. Sweetie belle started singing beautifully, as she lifted the banner into the air. Apple bloom started juggling her apples. As Scootaloo drove through the banner, Apple Bloom threw an apple at Scootaloo's face, landing it right in her mouth. When Sweetie finished the song, they all held hooves and took a bow.
A huge cheer came from the crowd, everypony was super happy with their performance!
All of a sudden the three fillies felt something on their flank. They quickly turned around and noticed that all three of them just got their cutie marks!
Scootaloo had a purple scooter wheel, with a lightning bolt, and wings coming out from it. Sweetie belle had a music note on top of a lovely pink heart. Apple Bloom had an apple, that had a paintbrush on it! They were so happy, they started jumping around in excitement, and went to show them to the audience!
Twilight said "I'm very proud of you girls! You've taught me something new about friendship! Spike, take a letter." Twilight continued, "Dear princess Celestia, today I've learned something very valuable about friendship. I learned that no matter how bad you embarrass yourself in front of your friends, they will never blame you, and everything will turn out fine in the end! Signed, Princess Twilight Sparkle."
The Cutie Mark Crusaders continued helping ponies find their special talent, even into their adult years!
Apple Bloom had a part-time job painting, and working on the farm. She grew into a strong mare like her sister, and bucked apples even faster than her sister!
Scootaloo never learned how to fly, but she was the fastest pegasus ever to ride on a scooter! Rainbow dash often raced her, but they would always tie.
Sweetie Belle wrote music, and became a pretty famous singer! Through the years, her voice only improved, and impressed everypony!
For all their lives, those three ponies stayed best friends, and nopony ever blamed eachother for silly reasons again!
