Rainbow Dash loved Ponyville. She only decided to go back to Cloudsdale when necessary. Lightning and Thunder were crushed, but happy for her. All of a sudden, Lightning was getting ready to have another baby. Thunder yelled, "Rainbow Dash, we need you immediately!"
Rainbow Dash said to her friends, "I'm going to be gone for a few days."
She zipped into the sky as her father stepped up to her and said, "Rainbow, we have something to tell you."
Lightning said softly, "I'm having another baby."
Rainbow's eyes lit up. "Really?" "
Yes, Rainbow, you are going to be a big sister soon."
Rainbow cried tears of joy and hugged Lightning, who hugged her back. Many days later, they were at the hospital.
Rainbow waited outside the room. Many minutes later, Thunder said, "Rainbow, you can come in now."
Lightning focused on the baby. It was an orange filly with purple hair. "Meet your new sister, Scootaloo," she said. A tear streamed down from Rainbow's eye as she hugged Scootaloo. She went back to Ponyville with her new sister and taught her how to fly when she was older.
Rainbow Dash said hi to her friend and introduced Scootaloo, who also said hi. She began to sneeze. But it wasn't just any sneeze. It was a deadly one that gave her wing cancer.
Rainbow Dash freaked out as she zipped into Cloudsdale to tell her parents the news. "Scootaloo has wing cancer!" "WHAT?!" Lightning yelled in horror. They both began to cry with Thunder joining in. Rainbow said through sobs, "We...we h-have to save her...before it's t-t-too late. I c-can't lose her." Lightning didn't stammer as she said, still crying, "I know, sweetie, I know."
Scootaloo coughed hard as she fell into Applejack's hooves. "Sugarcube, it's goin' to be okay," she said. Rainbow zipped down to Scootaloo and said through tears, "Scootaloo, I just want you to know I'll always be here for you." "I know, Rainbow Dash. I love you." "I love you too, Scoots." Scootaloo died two minutes later.
The Mane 6, Applebloom, Sweetie Belle, Lightning, and Thunder were at Scootaloo's funeral. Rainbow Dash stepped up to the casket and gave a speech.
"Scootaloo was the best little sister I could possibly have. But, now that she's died, I don't know what to do. She...she loved me as much as I loved her and I knew that by heart. But now...I'll never...never...SEE HER AGAIN!" Rainbow ran back to her seat crying hard.
Applejack was more heartbroken than ever. She cried as she hoofpatted Rainbow's back and said, "It's okay, sugarcube. She'll always be with you." "Thank you, Applejack. I really needed that." All of a sudden, Derpy came in and said, "Hey, Scootaloo wanted me to give you this." She handed a letter to Rainbow. It read:
Dearest Rainbow,
If you are reading this I am gone. I am so sorry, but Zecora cursed me and I was so scared that I tried not to sneeze, but I did. Please don't blame Zecora. She didn't mean to get me killed. She thought the potion would give everypony eternal life and she had me test it, but she used the wrong ingredients by accident. I love you so much, Rainbow. I will never forget you, and I know you will never forget me.

It was a beautiful day in Cloudsdale, and Lightning Dash and her husband, Thunder Dash, were getting ready to have a baby. When Lightning was finally in her hospital room, Thunder was waiting outside. Finally, after a few minutes, the doctor said, "Thunder, you can come in now."
Lightning was smiling at the baby, who was a beautiful blue filly with gorgeous rainbow hair. "Meet your new daughter, Rainbow Dash," she whispered. With tears in his eyes, Thunder hugged his new filly. Many months later, she grew up, learning to walk and talk.
"Hi, I'm Wainbow Dath," she always said. When she was 4 years old, she learned to say it the right way. "Hi, I'm Rainbow Dash." She went to flight school at age 5 and said that to all her friends. That's where she met Fluttershy and Derpy. "Hi, I'm Rainbow Dash,'' she said cheerfully. "What's your name?" Derpy responded immediately.
"I'm Derpy and this is Fluttershy!" Her eyes spun around like crazy.
"Good to meet you, Derpy! You too, Fluttershy!"
Fluttershy said in a very quiet and shy voice, "Hi."
"Oh, don't be shy. I won't hurt you!" Fluttershy smiled and began to talk louder.
"Great to meet you, Rainbow Dash! You'll love flight school! It's so much fun!"
Rainbow smiled softly. "I'm sure I will."
Flight school was a great oppurtunity for the blue filly over the years. Each pegasus stayed in flight school until they were 15. When Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Derpy left flight school, they immediately got their cutie marks. A cloud with rainbow lightning bolts, bubbles, and butterflies. They moved to Ponyville where they met Twilight, Applejack, Pinkie and Rarity.
"Hi, girls! Nice to meet you!"
"Great to meet ya, sugarcubes."
"Oh, you three are such a delight!"
"SQUEE! We have new friends!"
Twilight was a unicorn pony, daughter of Night Light and Twilight Velvet. Applejack was an Earth pony, daughter of Sweet Apple and Washington Apple. Pinkie Pie was also an Earth pony, sister of Maud Pie. Rarity was a unicorn pony, sister of Sweetie Belle.
"Great to meet you, girls," Rainbow said.
