Chapters 14 years of sitting in a box, crushed by the weight of animatronic parts. It really can hurt your back. That is if you had one, I don't have one. I'm just a soul stuck in a puppet. I'm broken, mentally and physically. My face hurts from the deterioration of my mask. My fingers are torn and so is my body. I want freedom, I need to stretch, to see the sun, to kill. Killing was my hobby and so was collecting merchandise from my victim's stuff. Sadly my collection was taken away from me when they shut down Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. The only thing I could kill was the occaional mouse that scurried into the box just to die. Each day was long and boring. I wanted just sunlight and a fresh body to mangle. It was quiet, it always was. Suddenly a noise in the distance was growing louder and it caught my attention. It was an engine and it was getting closer. The noise stopped right outside the storage unit I was in and the engine died. I heard the click of a door open and a man spoke he sounded like he came from the eighties. "So, what do you think we are gonna, like, find in here man?"
"Hopefully some better equipment," another man said. The lock to the door clicked and it slid upward. I saw the sun reflect off of the metal in my box and I was more than excited. I was hoping I would finally be free.
"Yeah you wish man," one of them replied. He stepped in front of the box and shifted through it before gasping,"dude I found some, like, stuff. We got a Freddy hat, and like two or three animatronic heads. Hey I found something that'll really blow your mind. This thing might be, like, the animatronic we're looking for man." The man picked me up and shoed me to the other one looked at me with surprise. He took me from the man who was holding me and removed my mask. He was, most likely, very surprised to see the violet eyes behind the pitch black eyes I had on the mask.
"Well it looks pretty banged up if you ask me. We'll fix it up with some of the stuff back at the horror attraction. Take the box as well. We might need those parts later." The man picked up the box and the other held me between his arm and his body. Heat, heat, oh my gosh the heat was so welcoming. I was usually freezing and 14 years of freezing wasn't any better. They sat me up in the back of a pick up truck right next to the box. By the looks around me it was early spring. There was still small patches of snow on the ground. Other storage compartments were being opened and men were taking out anything from Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. There were boxes of drawings and old machines. Once and a while there were animatronic parts. I continued to look at these boxes when I saw something. It was dark and stared at me from its box. Its scarred face made it nearly impossible to recognize but then I saw the hat. It was Freddy, not the toy one, the Freddy from Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. He stared at me, eyes pale and the suit darker than ever. That is when I realized it was moving. It got out of the box and started to walk towards me. It's smiling animatronic face covered in dirt. It got closer and closer till it got on top of the back of the pick up truck. Then I started to get up, except I couldn't. I didn't have the legs to even bend at this point. It stared at me and then opened it's mouth. Inside was no endoskeleton. Just blackness with white eyes peering out. I covered my face waiting for some sort of screeching. It never came though. I removed my arms to find the truck was moving and the Freddy was gone. It didn't seem long before we reached a building. It's front had a sign that read, Fazbear's Fright . Underneath the sign was a small, red door. The men stepped out of the truck again and opened the door. Inside was dark, very dark. The only light came from one of the occasional dim lightbulbs.
"So what do you think we'll, like, attach this thing to? Maybe some, like, rope hanging from the ceiling. It will look pretty dang cool if you ask me dude," the 1980's man suggested.
"You know I think we need better equipment or we'll need to hire a security guard to make sure this place doesn't go up in flames before this place opens in a couple of weeks."
"Yeah I know dude. I'm already on it. I found a guy who just got out of college and needed, like, a job. So I offered him up a job as our security guard," the man said. He seemed excited about that and I was as well and by the sound of it, it meant I soon would get the chance to kill again.
"As long as you pay him for his troubles and you teach him the ropes, i'm okay with a newbie working night shift until opening day."
"Alright man. I knew you'd be, like, okay with it."
"Will you stop talking like that?!"
"Like, what do you mean dude?"
"Stop saying dude and like and man in almost every sentence!"
"Nah man. I, like, grew up loving the eighties man so it just kinda stuck to me, you know what I mean dude?"
"For god's sake no i don't know what you mean!"
"Whatever man. I'm gonna go put this thing in the storage area. I'll talk to you, like, later." The 1980's man walked down a hall with me in his arms. The hall led to another hall that had a window on the left. On the right side was a vent and further down was another wall with lights in the corner. He turned the corner and I saw another door with an empty Freddy Fazbear suit on my right and the entrance to another room on my left. The man walked into the room and set me down on the desk before pulling some string out of a drawer. "You'll be good as new in, like, no time." After he said that he started to mend my torn up body. Each stitch sowing another limb together. When he was done he set me down next to a vent and walked out of the room. I soon heard shouting and the distinctive sound of a door slamming. Then the main power went out and the rooms were darker than before. I lied my head against the vent's door
I closed my eyes only to have them reopened with the feeling I was being watched. At the door was Freddy again. His eyes peering into my soul. It stepped through the doorway and approached me again. Except this time I could run. I slid into the vent and started crawling. Behind me I could hear the sound of some sort of hissing. I crawled out of the other end to the vent and I found I was in one of the hallways. I looked around and saw another animatronic. This time it wasn't Freddy. It was Balloon Boy, he looked just as bad as Freddy but he didn't have his balloons or his sign. I looked back into the vent and saw Freddy crawling down it. Balloon Boy began to walk towards me as well. On my right was a door and a wall to my back. I turned and slammed against the door but it wouldn't budge. The animatronics came closer and closer until they were right on top of me. The hissing noise was getting louder and louder. It soon came in intervals and once again I covered my face waiting for the attack. It never came and I lowered my arms. They were gone and I was propped up against the door. I had no idea what was going on anymore but I needed to find out why I was seeing hallucinations. I hadn't seen them in over 20 years after my first night at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Nightmares had plagued me for those few weeks afterwards. Then she came and had me taken away to an asylum. I dealt with her some years later. I'm trying to remember her name, I just can't for some reason. She was a victim out of five people that were once my friends. But I can't remember her name, as a matter of fact I can't remember any of their names. All I can remember is that I hate them now, I hate them all so much.
The night seemed to pass by like it never happened. I had adventured around the building and saw empty hallways no decorations whatsoever. The vents had cameras in them but they didn't record anything on them so I wasn't worried. The thing that worried me most was if I was going to see more hallucinations. I could be going insane again and I didn't want that. I never wanted any of this, I think. I can't remember if I did or I didn't. My thinking was interrupted by the squeaking of a door and the beeping of a delivery truck.
"Almost there just a bit more man," it was the eighties guy. They must be really busy if they're coming back with brand new stuff already. The beeping from the truck stopped and there was a clanging of metal and men grunting. "Be careful guys. This thing is like ancient dude."
"Well there you go Jeremy. You got your animatronic, now can we worry about better equipment?
"Nah man. I want it to be as authentic as possible. That includes the electronics and, like noises." There came loud clanging and I could hear Jeremy flip. "Dang it man what did I say about that animatronic guys?" There was some grumbling and the door from earlier squeaking loudly before closing. There was the sound of an ignition and the truck drove off. That's when I realized he had said animatronic. I listened for any of the people that might still be in the building. Then there came a faint voice.
"Hello? Is anyone in here?"
"Yeah. Who's asking?"
"I want your name first. I can't trust you."
"I don't remember my name."
"Well where are you? Are you human?"
"I-I-I don't know." I could feel myself wanting to cry but I couldn't there were no tears to shed. My existence was completely about killing. No, no it wasn't killing, or was it? I can't remember.The only noise that escaped my mouth was crying but no tears escaped my plastic eyes.
"Crying? Okay you are obviously human."
"Okay then. I'm human. Then what are you?"
"Human. By the ways my name is Vincent, Vincent Magenta."
"Okay. Well i'm coming to find you okay. Don't move." With that I heard a long fit of coughs before Vincent replied.
"Alright." I got up, walked to the door, and left the room. I followed the halls to an arcade room where a damaged animatronic sat. His suit was damaged and revealed, surprisingly, organs along with an endoskeleton. "Rainbow Dash?" He asked with a hint of surprise in his voice.
"My name was Rainbow Dash?" I asked with confusion. "How come I don't remember you or my name?" Vincent stood up reaching at a height of about seven feet tall.
"Well I remember you. You were there on the truck 14 years ago. You told me you'd help but you didn't. Because we were separated before you could."
"Fourteen years of storage and no heat a-a-and," I stopped and slid to the ground. If I had a human body I swear I would have had spasms. My head ached and I saw things. Faces and things that I don't remember seeing. Names entered my head, like Twilight Sparkle, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and more. I could see all my past actions and all of it was flashing before my eyes. Then it stopped at a fire with me inside and next to it stood a silhouette laced with purple colors. It was my cremation I was watching from the eyes of a bystander. It felt like my head was going to explode. Then it stopped completely and I was back in reality. There stood Vincent his animatronic face, somehow, showing concern.
"That was quite the fit you just threw," Vincent said as he picked up some papers from the floor. They were torn in many places and looked completely unrecognizable.
"A fit?"
"You keeled over and crawled to the wall. Within seconds you were destroying papers. I swear you were gonna go as far as to start hitting me. Then poof you fell to the ground and lied there for a few minutes."
"Oh," I was surprised at that. A mental fit? That shouldn't be possible, not at all. Vincent looked at me for a few more seconds before he stepped aside and sat back in the corner. He looked at his hands and his body with sadness in his eyes. He must still not like what he is. In an attempt to comfort him, I slid closer to him and hugged his arm like a child, since hugging him, as a whole, would most likely end pretty grotesquely. His eyes went wide with fear and he jerked his arm away from me. He looked down and saw me and relaxed, he let his arm come back down to his side and sighed.
"What did you look like before, that," he asked pointing at me.
"I was a female."
"Well yeah but what else. Were you tall? Were you smart? You know that kinda stuff. Like how you became what you are today."
"Well I was about five foot seven or eight. I had rainbow colored hair and I was pretty athletic. I'm not stupid but I was not a brainiac either. I had an adoptive daughter named Scootaloo and I had a lot of friends. Then it all changed when a friend made a bet with me and another friend. Do you know about the first Freddy Fazbear's?"
"That one was dead within a month. You might be referring to the second Freddy Fazbear's. That place was left to rot. So yes I do"
"Well he made a bet to see who could stay in it the longest and well they sure did stay for the longest. I escaped it with wounds that were very disabling. I was lucky to live as long as I did afterwards otherwise I may not be where I am today. Well I was later accused of murder since no one would believe me and I was sent to an asylum. Within years I had killed and killed to the point it was all just a game to me. A sick, twisted, fucked up game one of my victims had called it. Well then I got a package and I was soon in the hands of the puppet. It killed me and I thought I was free. I was wrong because I was soon alive. But I wasn't expecting what I had become. In the end I killed my friends, my adoptive daughter and even security guards."
"Well that sounds terrible. My story isn't all that different actually. Except I never was put in an asylum or jail. I walk in my tomb, I sit in it, I speak out of it, and I see out of it. My own killing spree ended with my downfall at the hands of a spring lock failure."
"That sounds amazing."
"Maybe to you but dying after so much killing just seems ironic you know?"
"Nope sorry."
"Well you might want to head back. I can hear the two guys from earlier pulling up again." I got up and moved to the door. As I left I heard him cough and he groaned before he went silent. I sat myself next to the vent and waited for the two men. Another day of fear.
The sound of a metal door opening echoed down the hallways of the building. There was the sound of grumbling and keys rattling as heavy footsteps struck the floor. Every so often the footsteps would stop and there would be a few coughs before the footsteps continued. It felt like forever before I found out who it was. A human came into view. He had a light shave and a heavy coat. He looked old nearly in his fifties. His eyes were droopy while his mouth stayed open. By the looks of it, it was to allow more air into his systems. He must be the day guard because he wore a security hat on his head. He sat down on a chair that swiveled with two folded back panels on either side. He flipped between the two panels, his eyes content on the left panel. After a few minutes his expression became worried and he brought the panel down. He went over to his left and brought the second panel up, tapping on it. There came three short beeping noises and then he flipped the panel down and went back to the other.
I could hear metallic foot steps echoing throughout the building. Each time getting louder and louder. The old man tapped the panel and the sound of a child saying hi rang through the building. The footsteps stopped for a few seconds before continuing, except they got quieter. The man tapped the panel again and this time the sound of laughter echoed throughout the building. The footsteps got quieter once more, the man became more confident. Until he heard banging, in the vents.
"Damn thing, so fucking persistent," the old man grumbled," go fuck yourself!" As if in response the banging continued getting louder and louder. From the door way Vincent appeared, animatronic suit and all. He brought his finger up to his skeletal mouth, giving a, slightly quieter than usual, shush. The old man became even more worried realizing he couldn't find what he was looking for on the panel. Then Vincent tore the man out of his seat lifting him up by the shoulders and throwing him to the ground. The old man stumbled to his feet, oddly enough he looked stronger than he seemed. The old man tried to do something to fight back but nothing was working, he punched, kicked and clawed at everything. Vincent stood there laughing, sort of, it was more like a cough than a laugh. Then he grabbed the old man's neck and head and threw him against a wall, face first. Vincent picked the old man up again and began slamming his face into the wall. The man struggled for a few minutes before he couldn't keep it up. His hands slid away from the wall and a loud crack was heard. The old man went limp and Vincent dropped the body to the ground. Blood seeped out of the old man's forehead and his neck had been bent the wrong way.
"No witnesses," Vincent, said as he walked out of the room. I followed him back to where we met last night. He stood in place starring into an arcade game screen for a few seconds seemingly lost in the black screen. "Do you remember what it was like," Vincent asked, continuing to stare at the screen.
"I don't know," I replied," i'm not sure what you mean by that."
"Do you remember the last thing that went through your head before you died?"
"No. Why?"
"Because I do, and it still does. I don't go one day without thinking about what might've happened had I not done what I did."
"Which was?"
"Murdering children. Five children to be exact."
"Well i'm sure it may have been very different."
"I bet you don't know what it feels like to still be living. I'm alive, sorta."
"Well i'm not so I guess I don't know what it feels like to be in your place. But how did you end up being trapped in that suit."
"It's a long story that started years ago. You really don't want to listen."
"No I do. I told you my story so now you can tell me yours."
"I'm not sure I want to."
"I'll listen. I promise. I won't laugh at you, or run off in disgust."
"Fine. I guess it would be nice to share it, maybe you can help me cope with this whole animatronic thing afterwards."
"I promise I will." Vincent sat down in front of the door way and looked at me. His smile covering his true feelings. He motioned for me to sit next to him, so I did. He sat there for a few more seconds before he toke a deep breath.
"Thank you Vincent and Scott, we're glad to know you two could be a part of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Vincent you'll be taking the day shift," the manager said. His hair was cut short with side burns and some fat on his chin. He was a bit heavier than his chair could handle causing it to creek loudly everytime he shifted his weight. On his shirt was a badge that said manager and under it was a name tag. Scott Cawthon sat next to Vincent. His hair was neatly combed over to the left with a light shave. He wore a shirt and tie with a black belt and pants. "And Scott i'm stationing you as our night guard's advisor. Make them feel safe every night. After our last incident rumors are spreading and I don't want this place without a night guard. We could be filed for lawsuits."
"Can do Mr. Johnson. I'd be glad to keep this old place up and running," Scott said with enthusiasm.
"So when do we start," Vincent asked.
"Tomorrow Mr. Magenta. I just got done firing an employee who was raping children in the back room," Johnson said shaking Vincent's and Scott's hands. "You'll be receiving your uniforms some time today. I'll be looking foward to seeing you two tomorrow."
"I have a feeling it'll be a surprisingly quiet day tomorrow," Vincent said as he opened the door to leave. Scott walked out of the room before him with haste. Before Vincent knew it Scott was halfway down the hallway. Vincent looked around the hall at all the children drawings. He was going to have a great day tomorrow, and he knew it.
"Well let's get down to it then," Vincent said to himself. He was in the back room inspecting himself. He had been recording some of Scott's messages to other employees. One of them being about a suit that doubled as an animatronic. He had just thirty minutes to do what he had planned. He had to make them count. He smiled as he slid the mask on over his head. Then he walked out of the backroom and into the main party area. Children went silent as they stared in curiosity at the appearance of another animatronic. The other animatronics seemed to glare at it. Vincent chuckled he just needed children. Out of the corner of his eye he saw a child sitting in a corner. He seemed more interested with a balloon than anything.
Vincent walked up to the child and poked his shoulder. "Hey hey kiddo," Vincent said," I have a special surprise for you. But I need to get the others for their special surprrise as well. So how bout you go into that room over there and wait for me okay?" The kid looked up with fear for a few seconds but, reluctantly, went to the back room. One down four to go. Vincent went around some of the tables poking children on the shoulder and asking them to meet him in the back room. Each one would hesitate before walking into the back room. He followed the last child inside and shut the door. With a smile he took the mask off. The children's faces became worried as Vincent began to pull a pocket knife out of his pockets. Each child began to cry, but outside noone heard them. Freddy and Co. Were to busy entertaining them. With each kill Vincent became happier. It felt so good to feel the blood rolling down his hands. He looked at his watch to see he only had two minutes to return to his station. Vincent removed the suit and threw it aside. He heard a metallic crack but didn't stop to find out why. He went back to the security office and dialed 911.
"Hello, police," Vincent said, he's been practicing this part all week," i'd like to report five missing children."
"Hold on sir we'll be there immediately. Just remain calm and evacuate the building." Vincent hung up. To ensure he didn't get asked any questions. He pulled out his pocket knife and cut the cord.
"We found the bodies Johnson. They were in the backroom near an animatronic suit. We're going to have to take in the employee who uses it for questioning," A police officer said.
"Why does this happen. The moment I get rumors hushed up a new one starts or something terrible happens," Johnson said as he turned around.
"Don't worry sir the place isn't closing down anytime soon. I hope," Scott said as he patted him on the back.
"No we will. I'm sure of it. Tell the night guard this is their last night and pack up your things."
"It truly is a tragedy. Knowing that this place must close down," Vincent said," I was having so much fun." Vincent knew that he'd be able to get a job at another Freddy Fazbear's Pizza and start again.
"We all were Vincent, we all were," Scott said as he walked back to his phone and recorded a message.
"Hey, um we're closing down and management wants you to stay for the final night. After that you can head home with your paycheck and um rest. I'm sure it's difficult after all the stuff that's been going on at night but one more night is all we ask. Thanks and good night." Scott hung up and put his coat on. "It was nice knowing you Vincent. Hope we can meet sometime in the future." With that said Scott walked out of the room leaving Vincent with the animatronics. It didn't take himself much longer to pack up and leave. He threw a few papers and knick knacks in his suitcase before he left the security office.
The room was empty besides a suit. A yellow rabbit suit decayed from years of misuse and now it was going to be used one more time. Vincent stepped up to the suit and touched it. Suddenly the sounds of whispers echoed in the room. He turned around and came face to face with a glowing, crying, skeletal, child.
"After years of waiting you returned here, to us," the whispers echoed.
"No you shouldn't he here. I'm alone. I'm just imagining you," Vincent said as he closed his eyes. He opened them again to find the child was still there.
"You came back to your doom. We now will own your soul." Vincent ran around the child to get out but four more blocked the exit. So he ran to the other side of the room. The child turned around and floated towards him. Vincent ran to the other side of the room again trying to think of what to do. The child followed him again and Vincent ran to the other side of the room. Then he remembered about the suit. He ran past the child again and slid into the suit.
"Ha ha. You can't get me now. You can't hurt me at all," Vincent laughed. Then he felt a sharp pain in his back that grew into a burning sensation. It started spreading throughout his body. Then there came the sound of metal striking metal and Vincent felt as if he were being squeezed. Blood seeped from his eye sockets and mouth dripping to the floor and inside the suit. Suddenly he heard a loud splat and he felt as if he had just been popped open. He looked down to see his guts spillover onto the floor. He shuddered as his legs buckled and he fell forwards. As time passed the pain stopped and he slid into a sitting position. The children were gone and he felt light headed. He closed his eyes slowly as he lost conscious.
"And the next thing I knew I was in that truck," Vincent sighed. His hands covered the eye holes of the mask and he went quiet.
"Wow. That sounds terrible," I said. I stuck out an arm to touch him but he moved away. Fear was in his eyes for a few seconds. Then he settled down again breathing heavily. It must have been late because the main lights had gone out. We were left in semidarkness alone. Another night of emptiness. Only Vincent and I to keep each other company.
Oddly enough I was dreaming. I'm not sure if I was dead or I was taking a stroll down memory lane, or something. There were small particles of light all around me. So I wasn't dead, cause the tunnel I was in long ago had a light at the end. This tunnel echoed with voices, hard to remember which ones or who they belonged to but I had a feeling I knew them. So that totally meant I was taking a stroll down memory lane. I closed my eyes as a bright light formed in front of me.
When I opened them I was crying, under a bright light. To my left and right was the side of, a bed? I felt smaller almost midget like. I saw a man approach and stand over me. His eyes full of tears, and his mouth quivering. "We're sorry little gal. Turns out we can't take you home," he whimpered. I reached out my hand to touch his face, but he was to far away for them to touch him. That's when I realized I really was taking a stroll down memory lane. Revisiting my life, I think. He stepped away as I closed my eyes again.
When I opened them again I was being held in front of a door with a handle on it. Someone from behind me knocked on it and there came the distinct sound of things falling. The door opened to a man with blue eyes and brown messy hair. He had a kind smile on his face and wore blue and white stripped pajamas. It was early in the morning and he looked tired. "Ello you must be Mrs. Dash. The name's John Smith, and this must be the daughter you put up for adoption. She's so adorable. Please come inside." John opened the door more allowing the person carrying me in. He led us to a couch that was a deep blue and motioned us to sit down. "Now I know it's hard giving up a child but i'm sure we can make arrangements for you to come meet her every so often. Just to see how she's doing."
"Thank you mister Smith," the person carrying me said,"I'd be glad to hear from you once a week as well. You know, news and stuff like that."
"I can arrange that as well. I promise she'll be perfectly safe with my wife and I." The person from behind got up and shook John's hand. Then she handed me to him. He was warm, and he handled me gently. I didn't get time to even look who I had been held by before, when my eyes closed again.
"Aww she's so cute hun," a feminine voice said. I opened my eyes to see a blonde wearing a pink sweater. Her eyes glimmered with love, and her mouth made the, even to me, the cutest smile.
"She truly is something Rose," John said as he came into view. I closed my eyes again.
This time I opened them to an old rickety building with wooden boards over the windows. A sign was nailed against the door. It warned people to stay out. I didn't listen and broke the door with an old crowbar I had found. The inside was old and smelly, there was still furniture and old things all over. On a stand stood a picture frame, with a mother, father, and their baby girl. Words were engraved onto it, Our baby girl's first Christmas 1967 . Next to it was another picture showing the two parents again with an older daughter. They were on a beach laughing and playing, Rose stood with them. The daughter was holding up a shell. The adults had those fake faces of awe an adult gives a child who found something the child thought was cool. Then it ended, no more memories were left on that stand. I toke them and threw them in a bag. Then I went up to a bookshelf and removed one that said Memories, Sweet Memories . I opened it to the first page and looked at the images. One was of the daughter and the parents at the Wondercolt baseball game of 69'. The daughter had a baseball in her hand, it had been signed by Spitfire after the game. I flipped through the book to another page. In it was a note,
Dear Rainbow Dash,
Hey Kiddo, i'm sorry Dashie but if you're reading this then you're Mommy and Daddy are dead. Don't worry we're in a better place now but enclosed in this note is a recording of our last great day together. We're sorry we couldn't be there for you forever. When you're old enough our lawyers will give you our will. It says you'll get our house and earnings. Be strong Dashie. We love you.

Tears dripped from my eyes as I closed the book and set it in the bag as well. I picked up a few more things, like a pair of toy ponies. One was a pegasus with a rainbow mane and tail with a sky blue body. The other was a lavender alicorn with a black and purple mane.
"Oh my god look Rose she's got another shell. Good job hunny go and fetch another one," I was watching the beach day. There I was going back and forth finding colorful shells and bringing them back to my family. Just like the little kid I was back then. "She's so full of energy Rose," Maria said," how ever do you put up with her?"
"Love and firm statements," Rose replied.
"She's a handful but she sure does love hanging out with us," John added," always talking about sports, and how one day she wants to be part of the Wondercolts." The sound of wheels grinding to a halt came from the background and the camera shut off. I closed my eyes again and saw two dead bodies, blood seeping from crevices. I opened them back up to see I was still in the room
"Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday dear Dashie. Happy Birthday to you," I was in the kitchen surrounding by friends and family. It was my tenth birthday, my seventh year without Maria or Brian. It wasn't the same without them. I ran upstairs crying, and slammed my door shut. It felt like hours before someone entered, it was John and Rose. They had a gift with them. They approached my bed and set it down.
"Come on Dashie open it," John said," we know you miss them but we thought this might help you get over them." He opened the gift for me and handed me a jar of seashells, all a different color of the rainbow.
"Those are the shells you gathered on the beach," Rose said with a sad smile,"plus we added a few to finish the collection." I began to cry again and Rose hugged me, patting me on the back. I returned the hug and kept crying. It took me a few minutes to calm down. Rose had gathered a few blankets and set them up like a big sleepover party. There were pillows all over them. John had pulled out his old blue laser pointer and had taped the on button down. He had aimed it at a ball of glass causing it to reflect blue all over the room. That night was amazing, I had a sleep over with all my friends.
"There she goes around first base, second, third," the air rushed against my face," she's home! Rainbow Dash has made the final home run! And the winner is the...... Canerlot High Dashers. They have won the high school baseball championship!" There was cheering as I was crowded by players as the lifted me up onto their shoulders. Some patted me on the back others asked for pictures. It was hard to take it all in.
"How does it feel to be the youngest player on the team and score the final point," asked a news reporter. She was right I was a freshman on the varsity team.
"It feels awesome," I replied.
"What kind of tips would you give anyone?"
"Believe in yourself, work hard, and think big. You can achieve great things that way."
"Now we understand you've got plenty of celebrating to get to.... hold on. We're getting news that we are getting a surprise appearance tonight. Please welcome, Spitfire. Team Captain of the Wondercolts." A female dressed in a deep blue uniform stepped on stage. Her orange and yellow hair was combed back neatly and she had a smile on her face. My jaw dropped as she walked up to me and held out her hand.
"So you're the well known Rainbow Dash," Spitfire asked expecting a hand shake," I could use someone like you on our team." I could feel my bones turning to jelly. I was talking to the one and only Spitfire. "Well i'm here to tell you we have a scholarship to the Wondercolt Academy for you. In a few years you'll get the chance to test your skillin the big league."
"I'm sorry Ms. Dash but you're out for the season," the doctor said. It's not that you can't run, it's that moving your leg may cause discomfort."
"But doc i'm okay. I really am," I was upset. It was my last season before I was done. My last year on the team. Spitfire had retired and I had become team captain and the best player
"I'm sorry but the x-rays say otherwise. Now stay off that foot for a few months and you'll be all good."
"Dashie," John said as I walked into the hospital room,"How's my favorite baby girl?" He was attached to life support, his blue eyes showed fear but he wore a smile on his face.
"Dad i'm not a baby anymore but i'm fine," I replied.
"Good you're just in time. I wanted to tell you something before they take me into surgery. If I don't come out I want you to be strong, don't break down like you did when Rose died," John said," can you do that for me?"
"Don't say that dad," tears began to roll down my cheeks," you're gonna make it through. They'll get that tumor out easy peasy and we can go to the beach."
"Dashie don't make this any harder than it needs to be. I'm old, fragile, way beyond my prime. I most likely will not survive the surgery."
"Come on Dad don't say that. You're very capable of making it through." I was at his bedside my cheek rested on his wrinkled hand.
"Ms. Dash we're about to take him in for surgery, we would be most happy if you'd leave so we can take him to the operating room," a nurse said. I don't know when she got in here but I didn't want to leave John.
"Please Dashie just listen to them. Like I said stay strong," John said he moved my hair away from my eyes and gave me a smile. "I promise you, everything will be alright." Even though I knew it wasn't true I felt reassured that he was dying happily. I got up and left the room.
"We're sorry Ms. Dash but Mr. Smith did not survive the surgery. He died on the operating table." I broke down at those words. I don't remember what happened after that. I knew I had gotten a job, cause I could afford stuff, and I had gone into depression. I barely saw my friends and when I did i was a huge douche to them. I didn't go to John's funeral, I didn't ask for comfort from anyone. I had nailed a big keep out sign on my family door. I was that way for a few months.
"Rainbow open up you can't hide in there all day," Pinkie whined from outside, "come on we can go out, get a latte, talk about you getting a boyfriend. Maybe even see if we can find someone for you to adopt. It'll be fun I promise."
"Go away Pinkie. I'm not in the mood for your bullshit," I yelled. Even though a latte sounded nice.
"But Dashie we'll have tons of fun. So stop being a grinch and lets go have some fun."
"I fucking said no Pinkie Pie!"
"Alright suit yourself. I heard Soarin just got out of a relationship."
"If I go along will you shut up!?"
"Yes."
"Ugh fine. But just this once." Pinkie squeed in excitement as I unlocked my door. No sooner had I opened it Pinkie was pulling me down the side walk.
We were at an adoption home. Some of th kids I recognized because they were always playing around my house. But one really caught my eye. Her mame was Scootaloo and she was a rough and rowdy kid. Pinkie was right maybe I did need someone to adopt. Just to get rid of the emptiness in my home.
"Thank you Ms. Dash. We'll send her to pack her things and she'll be with you shortly," the owner said. She went into a back door for a few minutes. A few minutes gave me time to think about life with Scootaloo. It was going to be neat. Maybe a life where I was Rose this time around and Scootaloo was me.
"Hello? Are you Ms. Dash," the voice was unexpected but I knew it could only be Scootaloo. She was so young, so fragile. So adorable when she was scared.
"Yes," I replied. Scootaloo's face brightened a bit. She ran over to me and gave me a hug.
"I knew it was you Rainbow. I'm don't forget awesomeness."
"Good cause i'm your new parent."
"That's so cool." She was so full of excitement, and energy. Maybe it was my turn to be the Best Parent in the Universe.
Then it all faded away I was left in the tunnel again. Alone. I woke up? Or whatever I did, to the sounds of screaming telling me Vincent was in the office killing someone. Most likely the night guard. I don't know why but I felt like I had been physically crying. That shouldn't be possible, i'm not human.
The halls were silent, with the occasional groan of old metal in the vents. I was messing with a human animatronic head. I just couldn't remember the name. I think it was LockJaw, something like that. I wasn't sure what to do anymore. I just went through a very emotional dream and now I wanted to end it. To just finally die, to finally see what lied beyond. All those years ago I was so close, and yet I never reached it. I wanted it to just end and go to my friends. But I was stuck here for all eternity, now I suffer in turmoil and I fear i'll see more demon animatronics. Vincent was elsewhere doing things again.
That's when I saw it in an arcade game. A chicken face staring at me, almost angry, almost seething with rage. Then it struck me, that was Chica. I turned my head to see Chica looming over my scrawny body. Her eyes were pitch black with white dots looking down at me. It constantly made a hissing noise, why were they always hissing? Then it dissipated, but it wasn't over. At the end of the room was a fox, head hung low. It raised it ever so slightly to reveal a damaged snout with sharp teeth, and opened it to reveal a long silver tongue which slithered around its jaw. It's fingers were clawed and it reached out before dissipating as well.
Had I just seen a nightmare? I waited a few minutes almost in shock. When nothing else appeared I turned around, and got a close up of Balloon Boy who stood there shortly before attempting to tackle me. But before it struck it dissipated. I wasn't sure what was going on but I needed to find a way out. To leave here forever.
I was sitting there thinking when it occured to me. I could burn myself alive. Well would it be considered being burned alive? I realized that not only had i regained some of my memories. I had also gained some of the puppet's. And one of them was fire. I knew what I had to do and it meant taking me down and the horror attraction with me.
The fire licked at Rainbow's arms and legs as she awaited her imminent death. She could hear Vincent screaming something but knew she didn't care. She was going home. She suddenly felt a hand grasp her's and saw Jeremy start pulling her out of the fire. Vincent wrapped his arms around Jeremy's shoulders and threw him against the wall. Jeremy kicked against the wall causing himself and Vincent to fall into a nearby room. The flames soon engulfed Rainbow's face and she was soon in darkness. The light was fading in the distance and now she was in the same dark tunnel again. At the end was the light from before and this time nothing would stop her from dying.
The light shined down upon the open fields of Heaven. Angels of all kinds flew around the, seemingly, never ending land. Rainbow needed to find the others and apologize to them. She had no idea how she would explain it but she was going to anyways. The buildings were made of the brightest woods and metals Rainbow had ever seen. She looked the exact same as the day she died. A prisoners uniform and long, rainbow hair that was never cut or combed. She was about to give up, because there was no sign of them at all. Rainbow wanted to apologize to them, for them to forgive her, and for them to embrace in a warm group hug. Then she saw one of them, it was Twilight, she still had the skirt with the stars on it and her hair was still black with purple and pink highlights. She was talking with an old man with crazy hair and a very well cut moustache. He wore a suit and tie and held a set of books in one hand. Rainbow started to approach her when the man pointed her out and Twilight turned around. Her eyes went wide with either fear or surprise at the sight of Rainbow and then Twilight's eyes began to water. Twilight ran up to Rainbow giving her a hug. Twilight's tears rolled down Rainbow's back as she cried in long sobs. The man had walked away leaving Rainbow and Twilight alone. It took Twilight some time before she calmed herself down.
"I'm so sorry Rainbow I wish I had known before. None of this would have happened. We'd all still be alive and in our fifties," Twilight said. Her face was filled with so much remorse.
"No Twilight it's my fault you're dead. I wasn't being myself back then. I saw the error of my ways fourteen years to late."
"Rainbow we thought we would never see you again. We thought you'd be stuck in an endless killing spree."
"Please, don't bring that up."
"Well the good news is we all forgive you, even Scootaloo."
"I missed you guys and i'd love to catch up but i'm in a hurry to get back to the tunnel. A friend of mine will be coming though, I hope."
"That's okay i'll just tell them where you are so they can come and talk to you."
"Thanks Twilight," Rainbow said as she turned around.
"No problem Rainbow." Rainbow walked back towards the tunnel to see if Vincent was going to be there. It felt weird waiting fo someone she barely knew.
It felt like hours had passed and Rainbow had started to lose hope. He wasn't coming apparently.
"Hello," a voice said from behind her. It was male and young and she felt like she knew it. Rainbow turned around to see Sound Board approaching her. His face smiling with a smile of happiness and confusion.
"Sound Board? Oh my god i'm sorry I didn't notice you there."
"I was wondering when you were dying. You must have been about sixty years old or something."
"No actually I was dead for about twenty minutes or something. When I found out I wasn't dead, 2 years had passed."
"Wow. Gilda and I were found about a year before you said you found out you weren't dead. They destroyed the suits and cremated us," Sound Board said as he sat down next to Rainbow," so what you looking at?"
"I was waiting for someone but it doesn't look like they made it."
"Well that sucks to be them. But, hey you have us."
"Yeah I guess you're right." Sound Board and Rainbow got up and started to walk away when they heard a grunt. They both turned around and saw a man. His face was a dark color and his hair was plastered against his forehead with a ponytail in the back. His eyes were a violet color and his mouth was surrounded with small stuble. He wore a purple tie and jacket. His jeans were a deep blue and his shoes were purple. He just seemed to love purple.
"Hello. I'm looking for a woman by the name of Rainbow Dash. Have you se-" Rainbow cut him off with a large hug. He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her as well. No sooner was she about to let go when he kissed her, right on the cheek. Rainbow tried to relax a bit and looked at him with the best stern look she could give him.
"Okay maybe when we aren't already dead."
"Come on. I helped you die and now I get your love in return. That's how it works isn't it?"
"Well maybe once I begin to warm up to you."
"Oh so you're going to play hard to get?"
"Yes."
"Fine by me."
"Wait, no. You aren't supposed to be all okay with that. You're supposed to try harder to try and make me fall in love with you," Rainbow said with agitation before realizing what had just happened. Love was a whole new concept to her. Especially since she hadn't loved in 14 years.
"Well according to what you just said you do love me."
"Okay fine maybe I love you. But I don't love you that much."
"That isn't what your heart rate is saying."
"Okay fine I love you with a strong passion. Now shut up and let go of my ass."
"Knew it. I knew you loved me. And why can't I keep you in my hands just a bit longer."
"Cause a friend of mine is watching." Vincent instantly let go and looked behind Rainbow at Sound Board. Sound Board's whole face had gone red and he was trying his best to keep his hormones under control.
"Hey Sound Board don't go thinking about it," Rainbow yelled at him.
"Already did. Sorry but it just popped into my head."
"Oh you little. You're lucky you're already dead or i'd kill you." Sound Board chuckled and ran off expecting Rainbow to chase him. She ran down the street after him while Vincent walked down looking around at the buildings and other things.
"Woah that was a surprise wasn't it?" Twilight asked Scootaloo who was staring at Rainbow and Vincent. They were standing in front of Twilight and Scootaloo. Her heart was racing in fear of them rejecting Vincent. At the same time Vincent was touching her butt again.
"So basically, according to my research zis is merely another life. Ve are not angels but people in phase two of life. The "angels" that fly over head are merely phase three. As you can see none of us have vings meaning ve aren't angels and may never be. Due to the fact no one ages God chooses the ones who have committed little sins to become an angel or return to Earth to start another life," Albert Einstein explained.
"Thank you Mr. Einstein for that wonderful thought, and it may be true."
"Thank you for listening Ms. Sparkle," Albert Einstein said as he bowed. He then picked up his books and walked away. There was a long pause before Scootaloo spoke up.
"So basically you love Vincent?"
"Yes Scootaloo. I do love Vincent and that's how it is going to stay," Rainbow replied.
"So this is Scootaloo then," asked Vincent." Wow you must have been related intsead of you adopting her, cause I can see resemblance." Suddenly Rainbow could feel her body falling forward as two arms wrapped around her. She hit the ground and heard giggling as the person who hugged her got off of her back. Rainbow got up and turned around to see Pinkie with a huge smile on her face. Her hair seemed a brighter pink and a bit fluffier than before. Rainbow's mind clicked after a few seconds of confusion and she smiled back.
"Hiya Dashie long time no see. I heard you were back from the living," Pinkie said," so I decided to drop by and see you again."
"Well that's really nice of you Pinkie. Do you wanna sit down? Cause we were just talking to each other. And I wanted to catch up on things."
"Sorry Dashie. I won't be up here much longer. God assigned me as a guardian angel," Pinkie said as she made a wing flapping motion with her hands.
"Congratulations Pinkie," Twilight said.
"Yeah congrats. Well it was nice seeing you anyways," Rainbow said as Pinkie ran off.
"How many others aren't up here," Rainbow asked.
"Well Rarity is a tailor for the clothes up here, Applejack is somewhere around here, and Fluttershy sits around and doesn't do much."
"Well i'm gonna go see if I can find them," Rainbow said as she tuned around. From one of the nearby streets a female with purple hair, white shirt, and deep purple skirt approached.
"Hello darling," Rarity said as she sat down across from Twilight," I, just like every single one of your friends, heard you were dead and had finally come to the afterlife."
"Well where are the others," Rainbow asked.
"Most likely on their way. This place is large you know," Rarity said. There came the sound of yelling as Applejack flew backwards out of a crowd in an alleyway. From the crowd emerged another female, it was Gilda. She looked pissed, and Applejack did as well. Applejack landed mere feat away from a rock and slid the rest of the way. Gilda was quickly approaching and didn't look like she was going to stop. Rainbow reacted, almost instantaneously. Her hands were a flash as she reached tor the knife she didn't have. But this didn't stop her from reaching for it anyway. Her eyes became a deep black with white dots as she slowly approached Gilda. Gilda noticed Rainbow approaching and she stopped in her tracks.
"Hey Rainbow Dash welcome to the afterlife," Gilda said," I didn't know you were here."
"Rainbow stop," Twilight yelled as she jumped out of her seat. She started running after Rainbow as Vincent jumped on his seat and then over the table.
"Rainbow you okay," Gilda asked getting a bit uncomfortable a Rainbow advanced towards her.
"Rainbow stop," Vincent yelled as he ran straight past Twilight. In a few seconds Rainbow would have been right on Gilda, but Vincent caught up to Rainbow and tackled her. Rainbow started screaming and struggling against Vincent. Vincent did the best he could to hold her down while Twilight grabbed a cloth from Rarity's bag. Applejack tried to help as well as she held down Rainbow's head as the cloth was wrapped around her mouth. Rainbow was soon calm again. Her eyes were still pitch black but they showed signs of violet eyes instead of white dots for pupils. They had her held down while Twilight had gotten a wheelchair to tie her onto. This was to ensure she didn't try to attack Gilda who sat nearby.
"Well that was some sure way to make her presence known," Applejack said.
"What was with that? She's not a killer anymore, and she isn't the puppet," Scootaloo said as she looked over at Rainbow.
"Perhaps it has something to do with her attachment with the puppet," Twilight suggested.
"Most likely. As you can tell by her eyes," Vincent said.
"Yeah Pinkie told us about those. But why is she like that," Twilight asked.
"An instinct perhaps or side effects from years of the same thing. We may never know."
"Well I want to hear how she died to find out if that may have lead to this. Please tell us everything you know."
"I will but you have to promise me something. Don't let her know what you know. Do you undertand?"
"Why," Scootaloo asked.
"Because we don't know what might happen if we do," Vincent said as he closed his eyes. Then he began to tell the story of their nights at Fazbear's Fright.
"Excuse me darlng but before you continue maybe we should find a bit of shelter," Rarity suggested," night is falling and I don't think we'd want to be out at night. We may be in the afterlife but that doesn't mean everyone is nice." Rainbow was asleep, after a while of struggling she had exhausted herself. Soundboard had come down after hearing the news. He had fallen asleep with his head on Rainbow's shoulder.
"Maybe we should," Vincent sighed," the night was never a place I liked to be caught dead in."
"Afraid of the dark," Gilda asked.
"No last time I was caught dead in it I was dead," Vincent grumbled.
"Well we can head back to my place," Rarity offered," have some tea or something while you tell the rest of the story."
"Sounds good," Vincent said as he got up," tell me, will there be toast?"
"If you want to you can make some toast," Rarity replied
"Good then lets get going," Vincent said. The others got up as well, while Gilda started rolling the chair Rainbow as in down the street.
"Welcome to my humble abode," Rarity said as she opened the door to her boutique.
"Ugh fashion," Vincent grumbled," never undetood what was in fashion or not. Probably cause I didn't care."
"Well i'll wip up some tea you continue your story," Rarity sai as she walked into a nearby kitchen. The room went quiet as everyone sat down, waiting for Vincent to continue the story.
"You want to what," Vincent shouted. I had told him about what I wanted to do, to end this nightmare.
"I'm going to burn this body away," I said," I can finally be free of this all." I looked around at the building. From the corner of my eye a five clawed finger griped a doorway. The owner was a bear with many smaller ones scattered about its body. Then it dissipated just like the fox, Chica, and Balloon Boy.
"But why? I'll be alone again," Vincent said. Although his animatronic continued to smile his eye looked down.
"You can burn with me, we can both be free," I said as I held his animatronic hand. "We'll end this soon and when we do we can let go of all the pain." Vincent just stared off into nothing, his pupils dilated. He grabbed my hand and limped down a hall and into the security office. Without hesitation he pulled a chord out of it's socket.
"Hurry lay down," he motioned for me to lay on the floor.
"Why so worried," I asked.
"No time, jut get ready," he said as he set my head back. I don't know when he set me on fire but he was silent. I looked over at him, ready to light his innards. Then in the door way Jeremy appeared.
"W-w-what the hell? Dude what are you doing," Jeremy yelled as he yanked the cord out of Vincent's hand and threw it aside. "Get out of that suit you dumbass, that's our animatronic." Jeremy yanked the mask off of Vincent revealing a decayed human head. It's mouth in a gasping formation eye's bulging from their socket. Vincent smacked him aside and he went to grab the wire once more. I heard grunting and suddenly a red light flashed. More grunting before it stopped. The fires licked at my arms and face. Suddenly I felt a hand grab me and I turned my head to see Jeremy. Vincent tackled him and they disappeared into another room. I closed my eyes, accepting my fate.
Good Ending
"Then everything burned down, Jeremy escaped, and I died along with the Fazbear franchise," Vincent said as he drank the rest of his tea.
"Well that was certainly a very interesing story," Rarity said.
"Yes it was." Everyone had fallen asleep besides them. Rarity was prepared for bed and Vincent was sitting on a couch.
"Well i'm off to bed," Rarity said as she disappeared into a nearby room. Vincent walked over to Rainbow Dash and sat next to her. Why had she done what she did? Was it that one time only or was more destined to happen? Vincent removed her restraints and picked her up. He walked over to the couch and laid her on the couch. From the corner of his eye he saw something in the street. A child, crying out for help. Vincent got closer to the window and looked out, fourteen children were following the first. They were all crying out the last words he heard them say. Mommy, Daddy help me. Vincent walked to the door. He felt he needed to help them. With slight hesitation he opened the door and stepped out into the street. The children stopped and looked at him in fear. Vincent approached them and they curled into little balls waiting for his knife. It never came, and the first child looked up to see Vincent holding out his hand.
"Why you no hurt us," the child asked. Bad grammar was sometimes hard to understand but that was only if it was really bad grammar.
"Because i'm sorry kiddo. I really am," Vincent replied. The children all stared at him for a few more minutes before the first one got up and hugged him. Soon followed by the others.
"Apology accepted," the children said in unison. When they released Vincent from the hug one of the kids grabbed one of his hands. He continued to hold it as they walked down the street. Smiling all the way

Night 5 Bad Ending or is it Just the Beginning
"Well that was a very interesting story," Rarity said.
"Yes, yes it was." The others had fallen asleep him and Rarity were the only ones awake.
"Well i'm off to bed," Rarity said as she disappeared into a nearby room. Vincent walked over to Rainbow Dash and sat next to her. Why had she done what she did? Was it that one time only or was more destined to happen? Vincent removed her restraints and picked her up. He walked over to the couch and laid her on the couch. Suddenly things became slow and he felt as if he were being pulled away from everything. As if at any second he's be torn apart. Then everything started to disappear and was replaced by the night sky, and fire. He tilted his head to see he was being pulled from a smoldering pile of, what must have been, Fazbear's Fright.
"Vincent," Rainbow yelled as she jolted awake. She barely caught sight of his face as it faded away. Rainbow lunged towards him and tried to grab him, but he disappeared.
"What about him," Sound Board asked as he rubbed his eyes.
"He, he's gone, he was right here and now he's gone," Rainbow replied.
"He wouldn't just leave, would he," Sound Board asked.
"He didn't just leave, he disappeared."
"Well that's unfortunate." Sound Board attempted to comfort her by hugging her. Rainbow returned the hug and began crying into his arm.
Vincent was back on Earth, away from Rainbow, away from freedom, away from everyone. "DNA check is in sir, that was Vincent Magenta, wanted for the murder of 10 children," an officer said.
"Jeremy Fitzgerald said it had walked and even fought him. I don't think that was Vincent Magenta. That is Vincent Magenta." Vincent attempted to stand up, to face his fate. But he couldn't he couldn't even feel his legs. An officer walked up to him, a name scrawled across her badge, Marissa, without warning she opened fire on Vincent and he lost consciousness. The last thing he heard was, "he's all yours Tybalt."
"Dude are you alright," a voice echoed.
