Many thousands of years ago the princess of friendship discovered the rainbow power and created a whole new kind of magic, the rainbow magic. After that things escalated quickly. Now the world is covered by machines, the big nations are in an endless seeming war, pegasi and unicorns are extinct and magic seems completely lost. But in this gray world there's one pony who still believes in magic, Red Ashes.

Together with his friend Midnight, Charging Star and Twinkle Lights, a strange and mysterious pony, he tries to bring magic back to the world, not only to prove that he's not crazy, but also because magic seems to be the last hope in saving the world from an upcoming disaster.
