The Zombie War (Original)

As soon as I recognized her, I rose my gun at her.

"Woah, woah, I don't want any... Kyle...?" Sugarcoat asked.

Before she said anything else, I bonked her head with my Judge, knocking her out. I lowered the gun to shoot her, but Rainbow pulled my arm away before I had the chance to.

BANG!

We heard a gunshot, definitely from Kyle and Rainbow Dash.

They were in trouble.

"Rin, go! We'll catch up." Diamond said to me.

I called for Adagio and the others and we ran toward the gunshot. We saw at least 60 Walkers block our path, so we made a detour into the nearest building. I grabbed my pistol and smashed the glass. We hopped out and we ran to the gunshot. We saw that no-one was there until Kyle and Rainbow started sniping the horde from a parking rooftop.

"GET UP HERE, GO! HURRY!" Kyle shouted as he kept on shooting.

We ran inside and saw that the roof had a reinforced gate. Most likely planted there when Sanctuary was up and running as an area for a last stand. Kyle shut it and we catched our breath.

"This must be the others." A new voice said.

Twilight immediately grabbed her sword and held it at the source's throat

"You..." Was all she said as Rainbow pulled her away.

"Twi, we need her alive." She said.

"Why?" Twilight asked.

"Yeah, why?" Kyle asked.

"Because she said she had good news. The LEAST we could do is hear it." Rainbow said.

"...Fine. Fire away..." Kyle said as I saw his hand twitch on his gun.

"I came from a community. Me and... we came to offer you to come with us. We also have-"

"NO. Absolutely NOT. How do I know this isn't a trap so I'd be your punching bag again?" Kyle asked.

Again?

"Kyle, I don't expect you to trust me, of all people, but I promise; we're not from Crystal Prep. Not anymore..."

"Don't feed us lies." Kyle said as he drew his gun at her.

Sunset and Firefly were stabbing the zombies through the bars in order to let us leave. Or at least, stand a chance...

"Kyle... search my pack, see who I really am. Go ahead." Sugarcoat said as she kicked her pack at him passively.

Kyle started scavenging through when he saw the same tape that Joel has.

"He's here, you know..." Kyle said.

Sugarcoat's face quickly turned pale.

"Joel, he's here? Who's he with?" She asked.

"No-one you would know." Kyle said as he found pictures.

"The first one you'll see are of the walls. Each plate is really the back of an 18-Wheeler, dug into the ground and reinforced by broken down cars. We have a guard tower over there for snipers. You'll be safe with us..." Sugarcoat offered.

Kyle looked back at Sugarcoat.

"How are we doing on that horde?" Kyle asked Sunset and Firefly.

"I think enough of them are gone. Why?" Firefly asked.

"I think me, Twilight, and Sugarcoat need some privacy." Kyle ordered.

We accepted and we all went downstairs to keep watch near the ground level.

I looked at one of my former tormentors like I wanted to kill her. And I did.

"What? Kyle, I know you're upset. I understand that. But you don't have t-"

"Did Cinch tell you about the time I nearly died because of what you girls did to me?" I asked her.

"W-what?" Sugarcoat asked with either curiosity or fear.

"It was a week before I brought the knife in." I saw Twilight turn at me.

"After you were done beating me down, I could barely breathe. I felt blood come out from inside of me. I was taken to the nurse's office and she freaked out when she said that a rib had broken off and stabbed one of my lungs. I was taken to the hospital where I had to get cut open in order to stop the lung from deflating. Cut. Open, Sugarcoat." I grabbed my gun and shoved it into her forehead.

"THAT'S WHEN I WANTED TO DIE! NOT AFTER JOEL, NOT AFTER AUTUMN FLIER! AFTER I WAS BROUGHT TO A HOSPITAL FOR A WOUND GIVEN TO ME BY SCHOOL GIRLS IN LEDERHOSENS! YOU KNOW WHY I DON'T TRUST YOU? DO YOU?! BECAUSE YOU ARE THE RAPIST, YOU ARE THE MONSTER WHO GETS ME CUT OPEN! THAT'S ALL YOU, THE SHADOWBOLTS, OR ANY OTHER SNOBBY SON-OF-A-BITCH FROM CRYSTAL PREP WILL EVER BE!" I screamed.

I felt the tears flood out my eyes and my voice started to crack near the end. I felt a hand being placed on my shoulder, and I turned to see Twilight look at me with tears in her eyes, too. I lowered the gun and tossed it across the parking lot.

"Let's see if I'm right." I said as I wiped my eyes off and grabbed her flare gun.

"How many of you are out there?" I asked as I held it up in the air.

"Does it matter what I say? 12, 20, 50? 0? No matter what I say, you will NOT trust me." Sugarcoat said.

I shot the flare.

"We'll find out." I said.

I turned around and saw that Joel was brought up by the screaming. And now, it was his turn.

"You..." Was all he said as he turned and ran back down.

"Joel!" Twilight said as she ran down.

I looked up and saw the flare go off.

"That's her. She's got in trouble!" I cried at my fellow recruiter, Luna.

"We'll get her. Don't worry. Maybe that new person can help..." She said.

"Alright." I replied.

"What is it?" Our new recruit asked.

"Our fellow recruiter, Sugarcoat got into trouble. Wanna help, Scootaloo?" I asked as I handed her my peice.

"Sure, Sombra." Scootaloo said as she grabbed it.
