“Are you sure 'bout this?” Braeburn drawled uncertainly, as he galloped through the apple trees after his cousin.
“Eeyup,” Big Mac answered in his signature phrase, not turning around.
Braeburn sighed. This was so typical of his cousin, keeping quiet until he had something really important to say. Dragging him out to the middle of the orchard was a first though; Big Mac didn't usually get this excited. Braeburn had hardly been visiting an hour before Big Mac ran up to him and insisted in a series of not so discreet signals that he come for a walk with him through the trees. That walk ended up being more of a run, with Big Mac deliberately pushing on towards some assumed endpoint. Braeburn admired his cousin's speed and the ripples of his muscles as he ran on. For a moment, he wondered what it would be like to rub his hoof over them, to feel their tightness pressed against him in an embrace.
Braeburn stopped suddenly as he realized where his thoughts were going. His ears folded back against his head and a deep red covered his cheeks. Was I really jus' thinking of my cousin like... that? The realization made him simultaneously confused and excited. Shamelessly, he pushed off the thought, justifying that if he kept it to himself, there was no harm in thinking whatever he pleased. All this sorting through of emotions took him only a few seconds, but in that time Big Mac had already gotten far ahead of him in the field.
“Hey! Wait fer me!” he called, running to catch up.
Big Mac slowed to a trot and turned back towards his cousin. He nodded his head towards an oak tree, the only one among acres and acres of apple trees. They stopped when they reached it and Braeburn stared up at it in confusion.
“Whats this doin' out here? I thought there were only apples in this field.”
“S'a marker. Helps ya find yer way if ya get lost. Good fer bein' alone too.” Big Mac faced his cousin and studied his face, trying to read his expression. The silence stretched out between the two before Braeburn finally broke it.
“So, uhh, why'd you bring me out here?” he asked, feeling slightly uncomfortable with the eye contact Big Mac was making. He rubbed his hoof against his leg nervously.
Big Mac's ears went back in embarrassment. He didn't know how to say what he wanted. Truth be told, he wasn't used to talking much at all. Working the fields was a solitary job, so he didn't spend much time socializing. The ones close to him usually could understand him with just a few words. Braeburn saw his cousin's discomfort and tried to ease the awkward tension that was building between the two of them.
“Ya know, yer a purdy fast runner,” he blurted out, only adding to the awkwardness of the moment.
The words brought him back to his earlier thought train, and he began looking his cousin over once more. Maybe...
“This place is... secluded, right?” Braeburn couldn't look at Big Mac as he spoke.
“Eeyup,” Big Mac replied, having a small shred of hope that the situation might be turning around.
“Well then, maybe we could become more... acquainted.” Braeburn took a step forward. “If ya don't mind, of course... It has been an awful long time since ah've seen ya.” He tried to sound confident, but the uncertainty echoed in his voice.
Big Mac felt excitement build in him at his cousin's words. Maybe he wouldn't have to speak much after all. He took a tentative step forward and reached out a hoof to stroke his cousin's mane. A warm smile spread across his lips and he looked at Braeburn with a gentle gaze. The blush returned to Braeburn's cheeks, but this time he didn't look away. Slowly, he moved forward until his lips were almost grazing his cousins.
“May ah?” he murmered, worried he might be moving too fast.
Big Mac nodded and moved his face in to close the kiss. Their lips met in a slow and soft dance, the first one for both of the young stallions. Big Mac closed the last bit of distance between the two and pulled Braeburn into him with his other hoof, the first one still stroking his mane. The two embraced and their hoofs began to explore eachother's bodies. Braeburn eagerly moved his hooves over Big Mac's hard, round muscles, feeling their form beneath his deep red fur.
Meanwhile, Big Mac pushed his tongue forward, pressing softly against his partner's lips. Braeburn instinctively opened his mouth, reveling in the intimate feeling of another pony's body so close to his own. Their tongues danced around each other, a warm and wet embrace.
Finally, after a few minutes, the ponies pulled back, Braeburn leaving one more peck on Big Macs lips before the kissing ended. Mac pressed his forehead against his cousins and looked fondly into the eyes of the first pony he had shared such an experience with. Big Mac pulled him into a quick hug and then motioned for his cousin to sit against the tree. Pushing up against him, Big Mac kissed him again, this time more passionately. But he broke the kiss quickly and moved his muzzle down, trailing little kisses across Braeburn's form. He stopped just sort of his goal and looked up at his partner.
“You sure?” he asked, checking in one more time. Braeburn nodded, his body tingling with excitement.
Big Mac needed no more confirmation. He moved his lips right to the base of Braeburn's member and kissed it softly. Braeburn shivered at the foreign sensation of another pony's touch on his most intimate part. Braeburn smiled and pulled his cousin into another soft kiss. He thought of his remaining days on the farm and eased off looking down and moving the dirt around with is hoof.
“You know, ah'll be here for a few more days. Maybe we could do this again,” he murmured, his voice edged with hope.
Big Mac placed a hoof under Braeburn's chin and lifted it to look into his eyes. He was clearly enticed by the idea.
“Ah'd love to,” he replied pulling his cousin into another kiss.
