Time to have fun, time to relax, time to hang out with friends! Pinkie Pie knew that the best thing about summer was the fun! But she also loved the bright sun and the smell of pollen? What she loves to do every summer, is have fun with her friends, her closest friends and her old friends! Pinkie Pie trotted through Ponyville searching for ponies to play with. Most of them said they were busy or they were going to head out on vacation, also Mr and Mrs. Cake took the twins on a short 1 week vacation and left the shop with a random pony that Pinkie didn't know... and Pinkie knows everypony! Pinkie knocked on the door to Rarity's boutique. "HELLOOO! RARITY!? Are you there!" Pinkie took a small step towards the door and ended up stepping on a small piece of paper that had a piece of tape to it. She picked it up and read it: Good day, everypony. The boutique is closed until the end of June, all clothing and material has been transported to a small boutique about 3 miles from here. Have a wonderful summer! ~ Rarity "Dagnabbittttttt! Rarity's gone too!?" Pinkie screamed. She paced back and forth. She knew that Twilight was in Canterlot, Rarity wasn't there, Rainbow Dash was at flight camp with Scootaloo, Applejack was on a family vacation, who else was there? "*Gasp* Fluttershy!" ~ Fluttershy was busy with a lot of her animals. Feeding them and doing other things to let them have a good time in the Summer. "I need a vacation." said Fluttershy. BOOM! "FLUTTERSHY! I heard it all! How about I take you on vacation with me!" said Pinkie as she busted in the door. "Um..." Fluttershy looked to the side of Pinkie at her door. Pinkie looked back to where she was looking. The door was banged up and probably not gonna be able to close again. "Oh! Sorry! Okay before we go on vacation I'll fix it." said Pinkie with a squee and a smile. "Well Pinkie, I'd love to go on vacation, but I have animals to take care of and I can't leave for more than a day." said Fluttershy. Pinkie thought for a moment. " *GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSPPPPPPPPPPPPPP* I know a pet sitter who can sit you're pets for you!" "Um Pinkie,-" "But don't worry, she doesn't really sit on the pets, she might- but not on purpose!" "Thank you for the offer Pinkie, but nopony can take care of my animals like I do, I'd have to leave a big list with them the size of this cottage for them to be exactly like me." "But Fluttershy! She's really good with animals! By far the 2nd best! Pweeeese give it a try!" said Pinkie. She went close up to Fluttershy and made a little puppy face. "Okay, what's her name?" "Chocolate Pie." ~ Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy trotted over to Sugarcube corner and sat down at a table, the pony at the counter was continuously staring in place breathing really loudly. He looked as if he just lost his puppy. Pinkie loved making new friends but this pony was beyond scary. "So who is this Chocolate Pie?" asked Fluttershy. "She's my cousin. I sent her a letter about 2 days ago saying that she could come over and hang out with me and she was planning on coming today, which is perfect!" "She's you're cousin! Oo. What does she look like?" "Me! Except her hair is in 2 braid and that's how she's always kept her hair. She also wears a cool hat!" "She sounds nice!" said Fluttershy. Ding! What a coincidence! In came a pink pony with a pink mane that was styled with 2 short braids and in her face hung a curl similar to Pinkie Pie's. Her cutie mark was a rainbow pawprint. And like Pinkie said, she wore a... cool hat? It was a straw hat with a rainbow ribbion around it. "Pinkay!" said Chocolate. She ran over to Pinkie and gave her a big hug! "HI Chocolate! I haven't seen you in years!" "Neither have I! And whos this?" she looked over at Fluttershy. "This is Fluttershy! She's on of my best friends!" "Hi, Fluttershy! Nace to meet ya!" Chocolate gripped her hoof really hard which left Fluttershy to cringe a little, trying not to show it. Mares got grip. "So you're a certified pet sitter?" asked Fluttershy with a smile on her face to nicely greet Chocolate. "Yepper doodles! Been pet sitting' since I was a filly, I always had a love fer dogs the most, but became fascinated wit every animal there is!" said Chocolate. She turned to Pinkie. "SO where's that little Gummy of yers?" asked Chocolate. "Oh! Right here!" Pinkie pulled Gummy out of her mane, which surprise Fluttershy because she didn't even notice Gummy there. Pinkie put Gummy on the ground and Gummy jumped up and bit Chocolates entire face. "Heh heh! Still as Gummy as ever!" said Chocolate's voice as it echoed through Gummy. She pulled Gummy off of her face and put him on the ground. "So Chocolate! I know I said I was gonna hang out with you but I'm going to have to cancel and move it to next week." said Pinkie. "Aw how come?" "I was gonna take Fluttershy on vacation!" she leaned closer to Chocolate. "I just want her to have some more fun, she hasn't had a vacation in a while." "That's totally kks! I can wait till next week!" said Chocolate. "But you don't have to leave! You get to stay right here in Ponyville till I come back!" said Pinkie. "Whatcha mean darling?" "We want you to pet sit Fluttershy's animals!" Chocolate's natural smile got even bigger. "Well buckle mah tummy belt! I haven't pet sit in a looooooong time! How may animals she got?" "A LOT!" said Pinkie as she gestured with her arms how much. "Nice! Take me to 'em!" ~ "Here they are!" said Fluttershy. "*gasp* So many! I'll do it!" said Chocolate. "But you don't have to pay me fer it. You guys deserve a vacation with ya'll bein' the elements and all! Just leave it too me!" "Wait!... I'd like to take Angel though." "That's perfect because I'm taking Gummy! He hee!" "Angel's pretty feisty and he probably want a vacation too. Not to be unfair." "That's okay with me darlin'! Ya'll go on and have fun! I got this under control." "Thanks Chocolate!" ~ "Fishing Pole?" asked Pinkie. "Check!" "Sunscreen?" "Um, Check!" "Bathing suit?" "Check!" "Coconut bra?" "... Check?" "Okay let's go!!!!!!!" Pinkie pulled out a boat. It was pink, blue and yellow and had paintings of balloons all over it! "Wow! Pinkie that's a nice boat! Where'd you get it from?" "I made it!" "Nice job!" "Thank you!" Pinkie pushed the boat into the water. Pinkie got in with Gummy. Then Fluttershy started to get in when suddenly she felt a hard slap on her leg. It was Angel. "Yes Angel?" Angel gestured: *no way I ain't getting in there!* then he made a cutting throat signal with his paw. "Pinkie got in with Gummy. It's fine Angel." then she got in. Angel pulled out a big orange life jacket his size and put it on himself. Then he took out a tombstone and wrote his name on it. "Come on Angel, we'll be okay." said Fluttershy. Angel hopped in carefully and they sailed off into the water. About an hour later they were far away from land and still paddling. Pinkie and Fluttershy put down their paddles. "I'm tired." said Pinkie. "Then, we can just relax right here. Anyone for more songs? How about you angel?" "Pretty good? That was AMAZING!" ~ "Um, Pinkie, I'm a little hungry. Do you have anything to eat?" "Yep! Which kinds?" "Kind of what?" "Cupcakes?" "Is that all you brought?" "Uhh, well water, flavored water though." "Oh." Pinkie reached in her bag and pulled out a pink box. She opened the box and took out a red velvet cupcake... or 2. She gave another 2 to Fluttershy and feed Gummy a vanilla one with cotton candy icing. "What does Angel want?" Angel didn't really want anything. He was too worried about the boat. He may not spend a lot of time with Pinkie but he knows her. Fluttershy placed a red velvet cupcake near Angel and he turned away from it. "Aw, Angel. You have to eat.......... he might eat later." said Fluttershy. Pinkie Pie took out a ukulele. "Pinkie, you play the ukulele?" "A little bit, I just know how to play chords but I'm pretty good at it. Pinkie you're good!" said Fluttershy as she clapped her hooves together. "Thank you! You're voice is amazing Fluttershy!" "Thanks." suddenly there was a noise coming from the boat. "What was that?" "Um..." Pinkie started to get worried. This is just what Angel expected. "I don't-" POP! A big hole popped through the boat and water started to spirt out like a fountain. "Pinkie! We're sinking!" "Grab on to a bag!" said Pinkie. Fluttershy grabbed a bag and Angel hopped on her head. Gummy was attached to Pinkie's mane also as Pinkie grabbed a bag. Then all 4 of them grabbed each other and the boat collapsed. Both Pinkie and Fluttershy were underwater when: "*gaaaaaaassssssppppppp, cough cough*!" Pinkie popped up out from under the water. "Fluttershy!? Fluttershy!?" Pinkie searched for Fluttershy and then she popped out from the water. "Flutters!" Pinkie hugged Fluttershy. Both pets also secured. "Thanks Pinkie. But what do we do? Our supply stuff sunk and we're in the middle of the ocean." said Fluttershy with panic in her voice. "Um... let's find land! Then maybe we can meet some tribal ponies and form a band!" "What?" "Let's just find land." They looked all around until Angel tapped his foot on Fluttershy's head. "Yes Angel?" Angel pointed into the distance to a small pea of land. "Oh! That's far. Pinkie is there a fast way we can get there?" "Not unless we paddle as hard as we can!" and they did. They paddled and paddled until they reached the island. ~ Once they got on the island, they slumped down on the hot sand. They were pooped. About an hour of paddling was worth it though because now they had a place to stay, but all of their supplies was gone. "Pinkie! What are we going to do?" asked Fluttershy. She looked terrified but all Angel could do was shake his head, just thinking: 'I told you so.' Pinkie thought for a while. "We can build another boat and sail back the way we came! It'll be easy! If we just- if we just- ya know. Work together and believe in what we can do!" said Pinkie. "But Pinkie, what can we build a boat with?" asked Fluttershy. Pinkie pointed out behind her. "Wood?" asked Fluttershy. "Yep! We just need tools! But, just to let you know... we're not gonna finish it today. And I wanted us to have a full week of vacation, so let's try to have some fun on this island too! Because I don't know how long building a boat from wood will take! We have to find stuff to cut down the trees with a stuff to hold it together!" said Pinkie. "Wow! Pinkie you know a lot about surviving!" "Me and my sister Maud were stranded on an island once but it was very far away. Or was that a dream... anyway, let's do this! Woohoo!" Pinkie bounced of into the woods with Gummy on her mane. Fluttershy and Angel followed her. They went deeper and deeper into the woods, searching and searching for tools and maybe some water or food. "Okay Fluttershy, you and Angel go that way and when you find something come back to this teeny meeny little shrub over there. I'll go this way." Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy went separate ways. No matter how far apart they were, their faith still carried on. ~ Fluttershy ventured through her side of the woods. Searching for anything she could to help her, Pinkie, Gummy and Angel. She stopped at a a tree. Underneath the tree were the branches. "They must have fallen off in a storm." She tried to drag the branches but then- "Ow. My back." ~ Pinkie ran back to the shrub after dragging almost the entire forest. She grabbed so many leaves and cut down so many branches. Gummy was sitting on a soft bed of leaves while eating some berries that he found off of a nearby tree. Pinkie waited for Fluttershy until she saw a small yellow and peach blur ahead of her. The yellow and peach blur was Fluttershy, dragging a long branch with Angel bunny beside her dragging a small salad that he made from leaves and raselberries, raspberries and blueberries. No dressing though which made him pretty upset. Fluttershy stopped when she got near Pinkie and she placed the branch down on the ground. "YAAAAYYYY! Now we can build a boat! Aren't you happy Fluttershy?" "Yes! Soon we'll be off this island." said Fluttershy. "But..." Pinkie Pie moved towards the end of the forest. She turned back to Fluttershy and gestured her to follow her. Fluttershy, Angel and Gummy followed after her. As soon as they got to the sunny, open sandy area. Pinkie stopped. "What?" asked Fluttershy. "We should at least enjoy our time here! We ARE on vacation!" said Pinkie as she bounced up and down. "Well, this is a nice island. Okay!" Pinkie looked over at the sun, it started to go down so it was almost night time. "We better get to sleep. I made leaf beds with Gummy!" "Okay!" Fluttershy and Pinkie went to go to bed. ~ "Chico! Chico!" a  light brown pony with a long dark brown braid on her head and tail and a curly bang walked through the woods. She had a bow and arrow cutie mark and she had swirls and signs on her hooves and up her arms and a little one on her left cheek. She was searching for her partner named Chico who was a Stallion the same size as her who was a darker brown but not to dark and his mane was very light brown but he died part of it white. His cutie mark was a whip and he had swirls on his hooves also. "Chica!" called out Chico. "Chico over here!" called Chica. Chico appeared out from the bushes and stopped near her sister. "Did you see the new visitors? So bright colored!!!!!!!!!" said Chica as she jumped up and down and waved her hands everwhere. "You mean the pink one and the yellow one with the peach hair? They aren't as sexy as we are." said Chico. "They had animals too! The pink one had an alligator and the yellow one had a bunny. That bunny looked vicious... BUT STILL ADORABLE!" "*gasp* what if they're wizards?" asked Chico. "Don't be silly Chico! They'd be rainbows! Rainbow's that look like ponies! Pony Rainbows! Ponyified Bow bows! PoBows! Raini Ponies!..." "Okay!... Should we wake them up?" asked Chico. "Um... no. I have a better idea..." said Chica as she rubbed her hooves together. ~ Back At Fluttershy's Cottage Chocolate Pie was laid out flat on the floor, sleeping. She was so tired out from the animals. Guess they weren't used to a new owner, but it was temporary. All she knew was she was plum tuckered out and she just wanted to sleep so she did. She didn't have as much energy as her cousin, Pinkie Pie. The animals had a big plan for her though. ~ Morning came and Pinkie Pie was the first to wake up. The island was so beautiful in the morning. Pinkie Pie woke up Fluttershy by shaking her a bunch of times. "FLUTTERSHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!" "AHHHH!" "AHHHH! Yay! I got you to wake up!" "Mm." Fluttershy rubbed the sleepiness out of her eyes and faces Pinkie. "Good Morning, Pinkie Pie." "Good Morning, Fluttershy! You ready for some adventure?" "I thought we were trying to get off of this island." "Oh yeah, but let's explore first! Remember what I said yesterday? Let's enjoy our time here, we are on vacation! Feeling Deja Vu?" "Okay Pinkie. So what should we do first?" Fluttershy said with a smile. Suddenly Pinkie's stomach started to growl. "Hmm." Pinkie looked around. She side to side and then she looked up and licked her lips. Bingo! "See those coconuts and mangoes up there? Let's go get 'em!" "Oh. You're saying we should climb up there and get them?" "I will go up and get them and you stay down here so I can throw them down to you!" "Okay!" said Fluttershy with confidence. She knew she couldn't catch but she was going to try her best to catch the fruit for survival sakes. Pinkie climbed up the tree and made it all the way to the top of the tree. Reached for a coconut, grabbed it and then threw it to Fluttershy. BUMP! "Ow." said Fluttershy. Pinkie grabbed another one and threw it down to Fluttershy. BUMP! "Ow." Pinkie then grabbed another one and threw it down to Fluttershy once more. BUMP! "Ow." "How ya doing down there Fluttershy!?" "Pretty dizzy!" "What!?" "Good!" Pinkie then reached for another coconut, but this time she missed it. "Huh? The coconut just disappeared into the tree!" "Hm?" asked Fluttershy. "I feel very coco in the nut right now!" Pinkie then tried to reach for another coconut but then that one disappeared into the tree. "WHAT IS HAPPENING!?" Suddenl,y a light brown figure flashed in front of Pinkie and said: "BO!" "Ahhhh! Hello! What's your name? I'm Pinkie!" Pinkie shook Chica's hoof and smiled. "I didn't scare you?" asked Chica. "Only for a second! *giggle* I'm used to surprises. I was one myself according to my mom!" "... Well Hello!" said Chica. Then, down on Fluttershy's level, Chico walked up towards Fluttershy. "AH!" Fluttershy hid behind Angel. Angel put up a sign that said: Punk. "I didn't even have to say 'bo'." said Chico. Pinkie Pie slid down the tree and Chica flipped off from the top of the tree. "Oooooo!" Pinkie Pie said, then she clapped. "Hello, ponies. This is my sister, Chica." "And this is my brother Chico." Chico? Chica? What kind of pony name is that? AHAHAHAHA!" thought angel bunny. Wait... "This is my friend, Fluttershy!" "Oh hi, Fluttershy!" said Chico and Chica in Unison. "Hi." "Well, you guys wanna come see where we live?" asked Chica. "Sure!" Pinkie and Fluttershy said. They venture through the entire forest and scoped through every moist parts of the woods, went through every cave and cut through each bush in their path. Everything was quiet, until Pinkie started asking questions. "So are you guys twins!? You look alike." "Yep! We can feel when the other is hurt and our allergies act up at the same time." said Chico. "That's soooo cooooool!" said Pinkie. "He's joking, but that would be kinda cool, I wish we could do that!" said Chica. "I wish I had a twin. Well I guess me and Dashie are like twins! I've known her for a while when she first came to Ponyville. She can fly as fast as a sloth!" said Pinkie. "Pinkie, sloths aren't fast, though." Fluttershy corrected Pinkie with a slight smile. "Have you ever seen the ending of the movie Zootopia?" "Wait, you guys are from Ponyville?" asked Chica. "Yes, why?" asked Fluttershy. "Our parents are from Ponyville!" said Chica. Fluttershy and Pinkie smiled at the comment but soon their smile went away when Chica and Chico frowned. "Hey, what's wrong?" asked Fluttershy. Pinkie walked over to Chica and put her hoof on her back. Fluttershy stood near Chico. "Our dad left us when we were just fillies. No one really told us the reason. The only thing we know is that he's still alive. But we just don't understand why he would just leave us especially without a mother." said Chico. Pinkie and Fluttershy felt bad for the twins. Every filly should be with their family, because friends and family are the most important. Pinkie and Fluttershy would have never known that these two twins weren't raised by anyone, they seem to be well behaved and nice. "I'm pretty sure he had a reason." said Fluttershy. "Yeah, and I'm pretty sure he loved you dearly." said Pinkie. "Yeah... he probably did." said Chica.
