Chapters #1: A cat lands on it's paws...right?
Beginning of Chapter 1
Excitement, cheerful, happy, satisfied - these were all the thoughts going through her mind before she jumped through the worldgate to return home to her family and friends in Falcorth Plains. She was doing some of her daily exploring and treasure hunting in the lost land of Auroria, either it be lost relics, minerals, weapons etc. Today lady luck was smiling down at her for she has found more than her average load. Happy with her find she decided to head home and summoned a worldgate to teleport home, but what she didn't realise was that she misread the summoning spell and opened a worldgate to an unknown land. it was too late for she had already jumped through, and wait for what fate had installed for her.
While travelling through the worldgate (which is like travelling hyper speed in space I assume that took normally eight seconds), She started to get violently jerked all over the place, giving her bruises and minor injuries. Georgina was scared for her life and didn't know what was happening or why was this happening, so she simply closed her eyes and hoped the painful journey would end soon.
Finally after what felt like an eternity she felt the exit nearby, but before she had any time to react there was a sudden *BANG* . The last thing she remembered was a painful headache before falling to her knees and laying down with an audible *THUD* , head first into the ground, before slipping to unconsciousness.

Everfree Forest
Twilight and Spike were travelling on the outskirts of the Everfree Forest near Ponyville, They were both in search of a rare flower that only grows in this haunted forest. At first they both hesitated to enter, but with determination they both found the courage to enter. The reason they are searching for this flower is because of her science project she was trying at home - and one of the ingredients that she needed was of course this hard to find, rare plant.
"Is this it Twilight?" The baby dragon asked, holding up a flower that looks like a blue tulip.
Twilight nodded her head sideways "No Spike, that's not the flower that we are looking for, I know it's around here somewhere" she stated with a determined face while narrowing her eyes at nearby bushes "keep looking Spike, I think we're close".
The pair has been in that forest for around an hour now and were starting to lose hope in finding their target. The purple alicorn looked up through one of the few gaps in the tree line and realised that the sun was almost setting, she turned to spike.
"Spike we should make our way back, it will be getting dark soon."
The dragon nodded in agreement and hoped on Twilight's back. "Sorry we couldn't find what we were looking for Twilight, how important is this flower anyway?"
Walking along the path leading towards the exit of the forest, Twilight turned her head and replied "Don't worry about it Spike, I'm grateful that you came along to help. Besides it's not THAT big of a deal anyway, I just thought we could use the fresh air after all that reading on the new books Princess Celestia sent me yesterday."
Turning back to the path, she was almost out of the forest when a loud *BANG* came from their right. The pair jumped at the sudden noise, it sounded like a high pitch firework explosion that lasted for about half a second.
"WHOA! What was that!?" The startled dragon asked with fear.
"No idea, but whatever it was, it needs to be investigated. Somepony could of gotten themselves hurt!" The now concerned alicorn replied. "It sounded like it came from behind those bushes..."
Twilight turned right, and slowly made her way to the source of the noise they heard just now. She had her horn ready and legs tensed incase the noise - whatever it could be, might be dangerous or even worse, deadly.
They got to the thick foliage that blocked their sight with the source of the noise, there was no way through, it was like a thick brick wall made out of leaves, vines and wood. However the baby dragon spotted something.
"Down there!" he pointed with his claw to the bottom of the 'wall'. There was a small hole that looked big enough for a small creature to fit through. "Maybe I could crawl through-"
"No Spike! something dangerous could be on the other side and hurt you, and most importantly I won't be there to protect you if you're attacked!" the alicorn was very protective when it comes to Spike and him being on his own into the unknown. She still treated him like a baby that can't handle himself, technically he was still a baby dragon, but he was growing up and he needs to show Twilight sometimes that he can act independently and can handle himself if worse comes to shove.
"But at the same time Twilight, there could be somepony hurt who needs help. Even if there is something dangerous that wants to attack me I can handle myself, and if I can't then I will come back to you."
Spike wanted to show Twilight that he can handle himself, and this was a perfect opportunity to prove to it her. Twilight thought about this before replying.
"Spike you sure you can do this?" Twilight asked, still a hint of concern and worry for her number one assistant.
Spike nodded with a very determined look.
"Okay, but if anything happens, even the slightest bit of danger, call me and run back here as fast as you can, okay?"
"Sure thing!"
Spike then got on all fours and crawled through the thick wall of nature and reached the end. he peaked out checking to make sure the coast is clear. Satisfied there is no danger, he wiggled out of the hole and stood up straightening his back, getting a few cracks from his spine. Looking around his vicinity, it was just like on the other side of the wall from where he came from - but no rode and instead more foliage.
"Anything Spike?" Twilight called over with a slight interest in her tone.
"Nothing yet, coast is clear!" The minor dragon replied.
"Okay, just wait there, I'm going to look for another way round. Don't move okay"
"Yes I heard, I'll wait for you here." The dragon shouted over. He really wanted to go out and explore, but he also knew that he would get in trouble and make Twilight worry. So he found a rock and sat down, waiting for the protective alicorn to find a way to him.
He sat observing his surroundings seeing he didn't have much to do. it wasn't anything spectacular - just some trees, vines and everything else you find in a forest, the everyday stuff.
Spike then realised that he was hungry, and just to add insult to injury, his stomach made a loud rumble.
"Oh jeez, why did I agree with this? I could be hav-"
he was cut off by what sounded like grunting.
"Huh?" he thought his mind was just playing tricks on him, he swore he heard a-
*Cough*
Okay now he definitely heard something, he was certain he heard somepony coughing - and it sounded close.
Spike got up from his seat and looked around, if there was anypony hurt then now was the time to act.
"Hello, anypony there? I'm here to help you!"
All he got was silence. Like whoever he heard was asleep. he did his best to remember where the cough came from and, according to his memory, it sound like it came from his right side. Turning to the direction he saw the usual green and.....White.
"Wait a minute, there's something behind that tree" He then sprinted towards the tree thinking that there was somepony injured, lost or even scared that needed help. When he turned his head around the tree what he saw next made his eyes widen, because what he saw was....not a pony.
"What is that?" he whispered to himself, what was in front of him was a bipedal with five appendages on each hand. But what mainly caught his attention was it's cat-like features it has - large cat ears, paws at the end of it's legs, small nose, claws on each arm (much like Spike's, but fur instead of scales and the claws were much longer) and white fur with black spots and stripes all over it's body. It seemed to also be wearing some form or clothes
Spike was truly terrified of the strange creature, he had never seen or heard anything like this in his life. The closest comparison to this was probably a manticore or a house cat (like Rarity's cat: Opalescence). The thought of just running away came to his mind for he does not know what this creature is capable of, or even if it will attack him on sight.
All of those thoughts went to the back of his mind when he noticed bruises, cuts and some minor injuries all over the creature's body, Especially a large bruise on it's forehead. It must have hit it's head on something hard and got knocked unconscious.
Spike knew what he had to do, even if he was terrified. He swallowed a large gulp and slowly stepped around the tree, making his way over to the creature with large tip-toe steps in an attempt to not wake it up.
After one last step, he was now within arms reach and realised how tall the creature was, it was quite intimidating even if it was just lying on it's back. He bet that if it stood at full height it will probably just be a few inches taller than Princess Celestia, and for pony standards that was VERY tall.
Spike just stood there in awe, but soon went back to his original plan.
"Here goes nothing" Muttered the dragon.
He reached out with his claw and poked the creatures arm, immediately jumping for cover behind a nearby rock....no response. He went back to the creature and poked it again but this time stood his ground and again - got no response.
"Okay, so it's definitely unconscious, that would explain the injuries..."
"Spike! where did you go?"
Spike immediately recognised that voice. "I'm over here Twilight! I found something!"
Twilight came rushing past the tree but didn't realise what was next to the baby dragon. "Oh there you are Spike, I thought I told you to...."
Twilight then saw what was in front of her, a bipedal cat-like creature lying on the ground with it's right fore-leg...arm, next to Spike.
Shocked, widen eyes and completely terrified, Twilight slowly walked up to her assistant. "Spike...w-what is-s....th-that!?"
Spike, now realised that Twilight was right next to her and completely consumed in fear, turned around to face her and gave a "Sshhh" emote with his claw to his mouth. "Whatever it is Twilight, it is hurt badly and looks to be unconscious - probably from the large bruise mark on it's head" He said while pointing at it's forehead. "We need to help it!" Spike was now concerned for the strange creature, even if it was hostile. No living being should just be abandoned to whatever horrible fate awaits them.
Twilight taken slightly back from Spike's words, She rarely saw him so concerned for creatures he never seen before, friendly or hostile. It gave twilight a warm smile to see her number one assistant to caring, but that didn't get rid of the fact of what this creature was capable of. She saw it had finger-like claws, it was just over 6 feet tall, in fact it looked like...
"Spike do you reckon this creature is a predator of some sorts? Because judging by what it has as weapons, it looks like a carnivore."
"Then why is it wearing clothes if it's a predator?"
Twilight realised what Spike meant. This creature was wearing some sort of clothing.
"Does that mean it's a sentient being?" Twilight was now excited, thinking of her discovering a new species, that are also intelligent! She was so deep in thought that she didn't see the 'really?' look that Spike was giving her.
"Twilight cut it out and help me, we need to get it to safety before it gets dark remember?" Spike managed to snap her out of her daydream. She blushed slightly giving a 'sorry' look in return.
"Oh yes, of course. But we can't bring it back to Ponyville, the town will no doubt run in fear and start screaming. You know what they're like with new and unknown creatures or objects, they're just too prejudice..."
Spike knew exactly what it was like being the only one of your kind around, when he first arrived in Ponyville, he got some 'funny' stares from the townsfolk, and he easily felt like the odd one out.
But a few stares will be nothing in comparison to what the town will do if they saw this strange, bipedal cat-like creature that's just over 6 feet tall with deadly sharp claws, no doubt excellent hearing, and just intimidating features.
"I could teleport us to the library, but I don't know if this creature is used to magic, let alone a teleport spell!" Thinking of a way to get this creature back to the library without causing a panic will be difficult. They have to think of a plan before sunset. Time is of the essence.
"Well we could gamble it and go for the teleport, or we could maybe take it to Fluttershy's, knowing how good she is with animals and caring for others." This seemed like a decent idea to Spike, but Twilight - as always, was thinking of the worst scenario that could happen.
"No we can't Spike, it will scare all of her animal friends, and no doubt scare her to death too which will just cause panic. If i can use something too...." She was deep in thought, then had an idea. "Okay Spike, I need you to wait here till I get back, I'm just going to visit Sweet Apple Acres real quick!"
And with that, she was gone. Nothing but a purple puff of smoke left behind.
"What could she be up to this time?" the now lonely dragon muttered to himself. He then looked up at the sky and saw the sun slowly descending. "She better be quick, not much time left."
After waiting for what felt like 10 minutes, Spike then heard what sounded like galloping, soon followed up by a low rumbling, and then voices - all to familiar voices, it sounded just like...
"What do ya mean that you found a strange creature? and what do ya mean yall need my help?"
End of Chapter 1
#2: This is not my home...
Beginning of Chapter 2
"Applejack, I think it's just best if I show you. Drop the cart and follow me"
Twilight led one of her best friends, Applejack - a farm pony who works at a nearby farm land known as 'Sweet Apple Acres', which has the best reputation for it's high quality apple products in all of Equestria. Back to where Spike had found the strange creature in the outskirts of the Everfree Forest. Applejack dropped the farm cart that Twilight needed to borrow on the road, and set of after her. It was not long before she stopped and turned a 180 towards Applejack.
"Applejack, what I'm about to show you will probably give you a shock, but please remember that it is unconscious and it's not dangerous."
After hearing what Twilight just said, Applejack had discovered an all new meaning of confused. What did she mean? What was unconscious? Twilight then turned back and walked passed the tree. Applejack still confused as ever with a hint of fear hesitated to follow, she took a large gulp and slowly made her way round....
Then realising what Twilight meant earlier when she saw what was directly in front of her lying on the ground. When Twilight came out of nowhere and started yapping about some 'strange creature' and that she needed to borrow Applejack's farm cart to move it to a safer place, She weren't kidding!
Applejack was at first shocked, scared, speechless. But as soon as she remembered Twilights words from earlier. She started to calm down and her breathing began to slow back to normal.
"Twi, mind tellin me what en tire'nation is that...thing?" Applejack asked with so much confusion, it was practically leaking from her.
"I have no idea Applejack, I'm just as confused as you are right now, but all of this will hopefully be explained later. Because right now we need to get it into the cart and make our way to the library before it gets dark."
They all understood the situation, Applejack and Spike nodded in agreement and they all carried the strange creature to the farm cart parked on the dirt road. For it's size you would expect the creature to be really heavy, but surprisingly it only weighed around 75kg - which was still heavy of course (for pony standards), but lighter than expected.
It took them a good amount of team effort to drag and carry the unconscious body to the cart, luckily it was just big enough to fit the creature in. They were all at the cart and now they had to try and lift the body onto the cart without further harming the creature.
"Okay...on three. one...two...three!" The alicorn grunted with the remaining breath she had left. Applejack and Spike got under the creature and was lifting it up with all their energy, Twilight was helping by gently levitating it onto the cart.
After a few struggles, they finally succeed. the whole gang was panting from tiredness. Applejack wiped her head with the back of her hoof.
"I'll say...all' that apple bucking today...really has gotten to me, it's like ah ran for 20 marathons.....without stopping" The farm pony stated while catching her breath back.
After also catching his breath, Spike decided to ask. "So what do we do now Twilight?"
She just finished hiding their 'cargo' with a large blanket using her levitation. Turning around "Now that we have it hidden, we can now head back to Ponyville without causing a commotion. Applejack can you help me pull the cart back to my place?"
"Sure thang Twi! I too want to see what this thing is. Ah probably have no choice anyway, imagine what everypony would think if they saw their princess pullin a cart on her own with hidden cargo. It would be kinda suspicious don't ya think?"
She does have a good point, since when do alicorn princesses do labour work anyway? Even if Twilight was not a princess everypony knew her as a 'bookworm'. So either way it would be strange.
"Your right, I will need your help no matter what. I hope you don't mind"
"Don't worry about it sugercube, pulling a cart across Ponyville is nothing compared to what ah do everyday as a livin. Now let's buckle up and get moving before any nasty critters decide to make an appearance, and don't worry I can manage on mah own." Applejack was more than fit enough to pull the cart on her own. Also letting Twilight just walk alongside instead will lower the suspicions.
Twilight nodded in approval and muttered a "thanks" before they set of to Ponyville, Spike was riding on the edge of the cart while Twilight kept at Applejack's right side. When they finally left the forest they all saw the sun descending behind the hills - making room for the moon to rise and create the night.
"Just in time" Twilight muttered to herself while on their way to the library. She could imagine the horrors that they would encounter if they stayed there just a few more minutes. Even on the outskirts of the Everfree is dangerous, especially at sunset.
It was just gone 18:00, and the town were doing what they usually do on a Saturday evening, either that be hanging out with friends, go to the club and get wasted on cider, or just catching up on some work in their spare time.
The group were almost there, the library came into view - a house which looks like it was built out of a tree. Fortunately for them nothing too eventful occurred during their journey, apart from the occasional stare gained here and there, nothing bad happened. The group finally made it to the front door, luckily the door was just wide enough to fit the cart through so without hesitation, Twilight opened the door and stood to the side to allow Applejack to pull the cart through carefully.
Once they were all inside, Twilight shut the door with her magic and made sure it was locked. Once done she then proceeded to shut all curtains to stop anypony from peaking in.
"Phew, we made it. Thank you for the help Applejack, if you didn't show up then we would probably still be stuck in the forest." Twilight then went over to Applejack and gave her a friendly hug to show how grateful she was.
"You're most welcome sugercube, Ahm happy to help!" Applejack returned the hug, she always loved seeing her friends so happy and giving them a helping hoof is one good way to assure that.
"So what will yall do now Twi? We can't have anypony else seeing it, and what happens if it decides wakes up!?"
"For now I'm going to lock it in the basement, it is the most hidden and safest place at the moment. In the meantime I will need to inform the Princesses of this event." She then turned to her number one assistant. "Spike can you go and fetch me a blank scroll, ink and a quill while we get the creature into the basement?"
"On it!" He replied before turning a 180 and ran upstairs.
"Okay Applejack, help me with this"
The girls both dragged the creature downstairs into the basement, once they reached the floor they gently put the creature onto an old mattress that was just a bit too small, but they managed by bending it's knees so it's feet weren't dangling of the end.
With the creature finally secured they both headed upstairs out of the basement. Applejack was the first to leave then Twilight, but before she left she turned around to get one last look at it before leaving and locking the basement door.
Spike was waiting for them with the things that was requested at the ready, quill and scroll in claws, waiting for the command
"Are you ready Spike?"
He nodded in response
"Okay" she cleared her throat before starting. "Dear Princess Celestia...." and thus she began to tell the story of what happened today with her strange finding.
????
..................................
......."wha"........."what happe- Ow!"
Pain - the first thought and feeling invading her barely conscious mind. She felt like she had been struck by a mighty war hammer, and to top it of been kicked by an elk all over her body like a punch bag.
No matter what limb she moved, it felt like burning in hell.
"where *cough*...Where am I?"
Opening her eyes, the first thing she saw was the ceiling. After rubbing them several times she then looked around at her surroundings, at what appears to be a dark room. It was pitch-black in fact, but thanks to her cat-like eyes she was able to see around her thanks to her night vision.
The room was a mess, littered with dust everywhere on everything and what appeared to be old contraptions. They looked like something that the harani would build - a neighbouring human race that lives in peace with the firran and have showed them the crazy metal inventions that they build, They were known as 'The pioneers of the continent'.
Looking around more there appeared to be a tiny speck of light coming from upstairs through the cracks of a wooden door with a rusty handle, this confirmed that she was in some sort of building, and maybe this was the basement or some sort of storage area.
"Did I get kidnapped, how did I get here? I don't remember fighting or anything.....I..can't remember..."
Georgina was just lost, she couldn't remember anything that happened recently - not even quick images.
"Maybe I can find some answers with the populace, this structure looks like it was built by the harani, so all I got to do is go up there and ask them. Easy enough"
She then proceeded to get up, but then was quickly reminded of her current state.
"Ouch, forgot about that. *cough* I hope I brought some spare....ah ha!."
On her side was a small pouch which contained some backup items incase she lost her bag or she had run out. Reaching a hand down she was relieved that there was 3 small healing potions which are used for minor injuries, bruises, headaches etc. Grabbing a bottle she opened the top and drank the warm tingly liquid, feeling the healing taking effect and the pain slowly going away. it brought a smile on her face as she sighed contently.
"Ahh, much better"
Moving her legs over to her side, reaching the floor, only then to realise how low on the ground she was. She counted to three in her head and slowly but gently stood up, at first her eyesight went fuzzy and she started to feel a little bit dizzy - using the wall as a support to keep her up. Six seconds later her eyesight went back to normal and she felt fully stable again.
*cough* *cough* "When was the last time this place was cleaned? There's dust everywhere" She stated while blowing dust away with her right hand.
Eager to get out of the dark confined room, Georgina saw the light from earlier and decided to head towards it. There was a set of basic stairs leading up to a door. With utmost care she started to make her way up the rotten stairs, creak after creak with each step she took. Half way up however she stopped when her hearing picked up something, it was voices - very faint though.
"Even if they are harani, I need to pick my next movements carefully. They could be pirates or bandits."
Agreeing with her own warning, she got on all fours with her hands on the stairs in front and legs on the back - in an attempt to try and lower the noise she is making. very carefully she made her way up to the door and stood up, then realising how low the ceiling was, and how short the door was. The top of the door came up to her shoulders, while she had to lower her head a little to avoid banging her head.
"I know the harani are short, but this seems a little silly." she chuckled to herself.
The voices from earlier were now allot more understandable now that she was right next to the door. Crouching down she peaked through the keyhole, temporally blinded for a second before her eyes refocussed. From her view what she saw were not harani, but what seemed like equine creatures with a wide range of different colours.
There were six of them all standing around in a circle, while talking to each other....
Wait a minute! Last time I checked, equines were not capable of physical speech. This is not a dream because I remember the pain from earlier, they're not a hologram or fakes because their eyes are tracking each other and interacting with their emotions, and I've seen ghosts before and these are nothing like them, especially when you can clearly see them breathing. So these must be a new sentient race that we have not encountered before...
If there was one thing the firran do best, it would be analysing difficult situations with quick thinking and resulting in reasonable conclusions or assumptions. This feature gave them the advantage in battle, spying or just anything in general.
Georgina was staring at the small equine creatures in awe, admiring each of their features. Hmm, seems like they have unicorns and pegassi here too...
The first one was a white unicorn with a stylish purple mane.
The second was a regular pink equine with a puffy dark pink mane.
The third was a cyan pegasus with a rainbow mane
The fourth one was another regular equine, this one seemed to be orange with a blonde-yellow mane. This one was also wearing a hat for some reason.
The fifth was a yellow pegasus with a bright pink mane.
The last one really got Georgina's attention, it was a purple equine with a purple and pink mane striped together, but this equine had both wings and horn. She had heard of a similar creature before from a story when she was still a young child, but the name of it was long forgotten.
Georgina then started to pay attention to what they were saying.
"But what if it's dangerous!? It could seriously hurt somepony!" the white unicorn asked - almost shouting.
"I can assure you Rarity that if it does pose a threat then the princesses will handle it." the purple one replied. "Besides it's locked in the basement so it's going nowhere."
"Oh yeah, even if it does get out then I'll take it down easily!" the cyan one stated with cockiness in her tone, while hovering above the ground with it's fore-legs crossed.
"Rainbow, you haven't seen what we have seen. To be honest you wouldn't even last five seconds - No offense partner, this creature is like nothing yall' ever seen."
"Not to mention that it could also be sentient" The purple one added.
"Sentient?" the four confused equines said in unison.
"Yes, when me, Applejack and Spike found the creature, it was wearing some form of basic yet unique clothing. So we assumed that it could be from an intelligent evolved species from a far away place, that is the best assumption that we have so far."
So they're the ones who brought me here, but what are their intentions is what I fear most. Georgina was in a difficult situation. she had three options...
Option 1: She could easily break down this door and make a run for it, but that will no doubt cause them to go hostile on her.
Option 2: She could knock on the door and be as diplomatic as possible, asking for answers and at the same time, giving her race a good first impressions.
Option 3: She could just wait it out and see what happens, but she had a reputation of being impatient sometimes - something that runs through the family.
She thought about this for a good amount of time, whatever move she makes now will probably determine her future in this mysterious land. She was tempted with just breaking down the door and legging it, but what lies beyond this room exactly? It wasn't worth the risk.
Okay, you can do this Georgina. Just stay calm and be as innocent and friendly as possible.
*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*
The second she knocked the room went dead silent with a few gasps, killing all their previous conversations.
"Hello?"
End of Chapter 2
Beginning of Chapter 3
The ponies in the room were all scared, shocked, confused. None of them wanting to make the effort to reply to the voice from behind the basement door while they all intensely glared at it with wide open eyes like it just murdered somepony. The voice itself sounded like a young female adult, was this the strange creature from earlier? It had to be, who else was down in that dark, dusty prison called a 'basement'?
But if the creature from earlier just knocked on the door and spoke, then that must mean that she (presuming it was a female from the voice) is now awake and possibly upset or angry for locking her up.
Also did she just say 'Hello'!? As in she just spoke EQUESTRIAN!?
All of these thoughts were racing through Twilight's mind like it was the Formula 1: Grand Prix. She tried to process what in Tartarus just happened, but was soon brought back to reality when she realized that somepony had to reply. It was so quiet that you could almost hear the steady breathing of the creature behind the door.
Finally Twilight found the courage she needed and made her move.
"U-uh umm....h-hello" The nervous alicorn replied, making it obvious to everypony (and firran) that she was terrified.
Hmm, so they can understand me. Let's make this more interesting
"If it's possible equine beings, can you unlock the door and let me out? I promise you that I'm a friend" The firran asked with truth in her tone, she knew that she was a terrible liar so lying right now would be a bad idea.
Okay, the creature was definitely female. You can tell by that soft, angelic, caring voice of hers.
"You can talk!?" Huffed the orange farm mare, for she was finally snapped out of her shock only to be greeted with a new. For she knew as much as Twilight and Spike what the creature looked like behind that door.
These horse-like creatures are very strange, they seem surprised that am capable with speech. Have they not seen firran, harani, elf or even nuian before?
Before the firran could reply, Twilight - who has calmed down allot faster than her friends, decided to answer her question.
"How can we believe you? For all we know you could be some sort of spy, and the second you leave you will bring more of your kind here and attack us!"
They're not stupid, I'll give them that. Georgina thought to herself, They seem good at making assumptions though - too good that it ALMOST makes them stupid. Looks like I'm going to have to make more of an effort in gaining their trust, they have answers that I need.
"If I wished to attack you or cause harm, then I would of broken this door down by now, and you all would have been nothing but puddles of blood." She replied coldly, like she almost seemed to take pride in it.
"If you would of smashed down the door, then the first thing you would see would be my hoof in your face!" the cyan pegasus challenged, making hoof-boxing gestures in the air while hovering over the floor.
Okay take that back about them 'not being stupid', for they have proved me wrong... Georgina thought. It made her chuckle a little just by her imagining the cyan pegasus trying to tackle her to the ground. For she had faced the horrors from hell itself and survived, whether it be mutated creatures, giant arachnids, the undead, demons, dragons, and she even fought the kraken before. She remembered the time when her and her sister - Diabla, went sailing for sunken treasure with their diving kit. Then out of nowhere giant tentacles came shooting up and splashed next to her clipper (boat) - almost hitting it. They both knew that they had to get out of there as fast as possible, for trying to kill a kraken with a party of two will be near impossible. turning the clipper towards the wind (fortunately it was a windy day), they managed to escape when they hit shallow water.
She will never forget that moment, for it was a reminder of how dangerous the ocean can be - hiding all sorts of monstrous creatures under it's depths.
"Like I said, I do not wish to cause harm. I just want to know where I am so I can head home."
Twilight was still unsure about this. She has never seen anything like her before. She could be the most friendliest creature in all of Equestria, but at the same time the most evil and violent. "I...I don't know...we still can't tr-"
"Twi" Applejack interrupted, gaining her attention. "Ah don't know why, but it feel like she is tellin the truth. Although ah still don't trust her, maybe we could give her at least a chance" If she wanted to attack us or leave by force, then she would of done it already. Even if Dash doesn't like to admit it. She thought to herself, who knows maybe this creature can be a really good friend.
Twilight took in Applejack's suggestion carefully, she was the Element of Honesty after all. if there was somepony lying then she would be able to tell just with a good look at them. And if Applejack - out of all of her friends, trusted her, then they should too...right?
"I agree with Applejack darling" the white unicorn added with a confident smile on her face. "I would like to see what she looks like, and you mentioned she wore clothes earlier so I am interested in what her kind likes to wear."
Twilight nodded, that was 2 of her friends willing to give the creature a chance, but what about the other 3?
She turned to the pink earth pony, only to see her with the usual joyful smile, bouncing on the spot, you know.
"What do you think Pinkie?"
The pink mare paused her constant bouncing. "Ooh ooh I can't wait to welcome her to Ponyville. It would be a 'Welcome-to-Ponyville-please-don't-eat-us-and-bring-your-kind-to-invade-us!' party!! Ooo it will be super duper luper!
3 down, 2 left
The next pony was the yellow pegasus - who the whole time was just happy to stay silent in the back of the room and hide behind her pink mane. She peaked and noticed Twilight staring at her.
"How about you Fluttershy?" Twilight asked with a soft gentle tone.
Fluttershy slowly stood back up, finding the confidence she needs.
"umm...I umm...she seems nice" Was probably the best answer she could muster.
4 down, 1 remaining
Twilight turned and faced the cyan-rainbow maned pegasus who was just minding her own business. She know that she'll be the most difficult to probably give the creature a chance - knowing her personality.
"What do you think about this Rainbow?"
Rainbow turned to the alicorn and her friends - who were waiting for her answer. To be honest Rainbow couldn't believe that her friends all agreed to let this monster out, for she believed that it will go on a rampage and kill everypony that it could set it's bloodlust eyes on.
"This is a BAD idea! No way we're going to let that monster out and let it roam free. It could destroy Ponyville!!" Rainbow shouted, trying her best to warn her friends from the 'monster'.
"I'm still here you know?" Georgina reminded the group while she was sat down behind the door. This was getting a little irritating to listen to for her, had they already forgotten that she was still here? She was seriously tempted to just go with 'option 1' and forget all about this - letting her impatient side get the better of her. But she just suppressed the feeling and waited patiently for them to finish their childish arguments, for this will be worth the wait, and in the long run...she hoped.
"Ah come on Rainbow, she said that she won't cause any harm to anypony, and even if she did then we or the princesses can take her down before any harm was done. Just give her one chance to prove herself that she is a friend." If there's one thing that Applejack was good at, it would be putting some sense into Rainbow, for she sometimes acts first, thinks later.
Princesses? hmm so they have royalty here...
Rainbow wanted to argue back, but knew that is was futile with nopony backing her up. So in the end she just gave in - still not agreeing to this though, she will just play along.
"Uhh, fine." Was all she said before folding her fore-hooves and sulked. While the group just shrugged at her, turning back to the basement door where Georgina was taking refuge.
"Okay, I'm going to unlock the basement door now, so don't try anything stupid" Twilight warned, levitating a key from a nearby hanger and into the keyhole. But before she rotated the key, she turned to all of her friends and saw all of them tensed up, they all gave Twilight a nod to show that they were all ready.
She slowly rotated the key clockwise, it felt like time had stopped for her, breathing quickening, sweat drooling down from her forehead. She was half terrified and half excited. She continued until she heard a-
*CLICK*
Georgina was waiting on the other side, the door just unlocked right in front of her and a dead silence filled the room. All was needed now was for her to reach for the doorknob and twist it.
She did exactly that, and the small door swung open, outwards into the room.
You know that feeling where you just witness a predator killing it's prey, but something about them and the way they did it seems intriguing, elegant, beautiful, intimidating at the same time? Well the group of ponies were all having a similar feeling when they witnessed the creature emerge out of the basement into the library.
The first noticeable feature about her was how TALL she was! She was as tall as Princess Celestia, maybe even taller! Standing just over six feet. The ponies in the room came up to about her waist, making her giant form tower over everypony in the room.
The next feature was that she was bipedal. There were very few bipedal sentient beings in Equestria due to the main populace being ponies. Creatures like minotaurs, dragons (at a young age) and diamond dogs were the only ones in the country, making them quite a rare site. So seeing one right in front of them from none of those species was certainly breathtaking.
The last feature would be her cat-like body, although Twilight, Applejack and Spike had already seen what she looks like, she looked allot more astonishing and intimidating when stood at full height and fully awake. Her ears twitching to the sounds around her, those large pupil cat eyes scanning her surroundings and the expressions of her 'audience'. But what was most frightening was those razor sharp teeth, although they were small, the sharpness of them put wolfs to shame, while those finger-like claws she has are a good warning to not get on her bad side.
"Greetings" she politely says while bowing her head a little to show respect to the ponies. Giving of a warm friendly smile. "My name is Georgina and it is a pleasure to meet you all"
The group were no doubt surprised that such a creature had good manners. Just a moment ago they were afraid of her going violent and harming everypony in Ponyville, but this was the complete opposite of what they expected.
Rarity was the first to respond. "My, she sure knows her manners." she stated in her ladylike way, receiving a friendly nod from Georgina.
"Yeah, and just a moment ago we were discussing a plan incase she went wild, no offence" Applejack added, which the firran chuckled to.
"It's okay, none taken. Have you not seen a firran before?"
"Ah what now?" asked the now confused farm pony.
"A firran - it's the name of my people"
Twilight was in that mood again, a certain mood for knowledge and research. She levitated a notepad over and started to take notes., until-
"Twilight darling, it is rude to be taking notes of our guest without her permission." Rarity interrupted.
Twilight looked over at her guest and blushed a little, she knew she can get carried away sometimes, and this was one of those times.
"Sorry, I just get excited when meeting with a new species - especially if they're sentient." Twilight apologized.
Hehe, reminds me of a friend of mine back in Tigerspine Mountains, boy that harani was crazy for inventing. Which reminds me, where am I?
"Don't worry, it's okay. But may I ask you a few questions?" Georgina politely asked, keeping on her warm smile.
Twilight then lightened up with excitement. "Yes of course!"
"Where exactly am I?"
"You are in Equestria, in the town of Ponyville." The alicorn replied.
'Equestria'? never heard of it before, or 'Ponyville'. Am I even still in Haranya any more?
"Uh...Georgina, are you okay?" Twilight's voice snapped her out of thought as she then gazed back down to her, gaining her smile back.
"Yes I am fine thank you. But I do not believe that I have caught your names yet"
Twilight then faced-hoofed - which got a small giggle from Georgina. "Oh I am sorry, I completely forgot. Allow me to introduce ourselves."
First, she pointed to the white unicorn. "This is Rarity."
Rarity then faced their guest and smiled. "Tis' a pleasure to meet you Georgina."
Twilight continued the introductions while pointing to each mare. "Applejack"
"Howdy" she said while nodding respectfully.
"Pinkie Pie"
"Hey Georgina. Ohh Ohh can I call you Geo? or maybe Gina will be better. Actually I don't know which is better- Oh what about GG? Do you like GG? do ya? do ya? huh huh huh? Oh or what about-"
She was cut of by Twilight's hoof, who then afterwards took it off again and Georgina started to laugh at what just happened.
"Geo or Gina will do Pinkie Pie." She stated while still giggling a little, but then the unexpected happened. Pinkie just gasped for about 3 seconds in the air and just zoomed out the front door to Tahyang knows where.
Georgina was a little startled and frightened that she just probably scared Pinkie Pie somehow. "Did I say something wrong? If I did then I am dreadfully sorry."
"No don't worry, she always does that when somepony new arrives. That's just Pinkie Pie for you." Twilight reassured. She knew exactly what Pinkie was up too and thought it would be best to not ruin it. She decided to continue the introductions.
"This is Fluttershy" She said while pointing at the shy yellow pegasus still in the back, but no longer hiding behind her mane.
Georgina saw why she was called 'Fluttershy', she was probably one of the most shyest beings she had ever seen. But that didn't stop her slowly walking up to her with her head down and nervously trying to look at other things to avoid having to star at her.
When Fluttershy was almost there, Georgina slowly knelt down in an attempt to look less intimidating and held her hand on her chest.
"I'm Georgina, nice to meet you" she said with the sweetest voice she could muster. Fluttershy finally looked up at her and smiled, all of her fear vanished in an instant when she saw how friendly she was being, but was still shy - completely natural of her.
"umm...my name is...Fluttershy " She replied, nearly whispering the last part. But it did not matter for Georgina had heard her clearly.
Fluttershy went back to the group - but not in the back of the room this time for now she no longer was afraid or as shy as she was. Georgina stood back up and stretched a little.
Twilight pointed to the cyan mare that seemed to be busy giving nasty glares at their guest - in fact Georgina noticed that she had been doing that ever since she came out of the basement but paid to attention to it - for she found them quite amusing rather than...'intimidating'.
"This is Rainbow Dash-"
"Got that right!" The rainbow maned mare added. She then flew right up to Georgina's face - who didn't even flinch.
"Listen pal, if you try anything funny around here, I'll personally pummel you so hard into the ground that you will regret ever coming here!" And with that she flew off and out the door. Everypony in the room was now shocked, they knew Rainbow was cocky and protective for her friends, but after their introduction together she still believed that she was some sort of monster.
Everypony gasped while Applejack just face hoofed and sighed. "Ahm sorry Geo for her behaving like that, she can get a little out of hoof sometimes." She apologised, hoping that little commotion didn't just ruin everything.
But to their surprise, Georgina was just smiling. "Don't worry Applejack, I understand for her actions - protecting the ones that she cares about from strangers like me. She reminds me of my older sister - whenever I used to make new friends or meet new people, she would warn them that if they even thought about harming me, then she would personally make them regret it in an instant. She was a very protective sister and would always look out for me."
Georgina smiled at the fun memories she had with Diabla - they would hunt, chase, sing, play, build, or just mess around. A single tear started to descend from her right eye, not a tear of sadness though or regret, but a tear of happiness and joy. She loved her sister as much as her sister loved her.
The ponies noticed the tear slowly making it's descend, they all immediately felt their hearts melt - either it be from sorrow, joy, sadness, regret, happiness, anger - They will not know. Georgina wiped away the tear and looked down at Twilight who had her own smile.
"And what is your name?" She asked
"I am Princess Twilight Sparkle, and welcome to Ponyville."
End of Chapter 3
Beginning of Chapter 4
The second she heard the word 'princess', she got down on one knee and bowed with her head hung low. When meeting royalty, important people, leaders etc, Georgina would always pay respect to them in any way that seems fit.
Twilight - momentarily stunned by the response that she gave, just smiled in return. Happy that she is polite when meeting new ponies...people? either one works I guess.
"Thank you Georgina, but I do not wish to be treated like a princess or that I'm higher up than anypony else. Just treat me as a friend."
Georgina simply nodded in return and stood back up at her full height - reminding everyone else in the room just how tall she is, she is like a gentle giant is some ways.
She then remembered something that she wanted to ask earlier. "Twilight?"
"Yes?" she answered
"Why do you keep saying 'anypony', 'everypony' or 'nopony', Isn't it 'body' or 'one? Like 'everybody' or 'everyone'" She asked with curiosity, it did seem strange to her that they used 'pony' instead of 'body' or 'one'.
This caught Twilight and her friends a little off guard with the random question, they thought she was just telling some strange joke, but her facial expression says otherwise.
"Uh we always say 'pony' here because everypony here is well...a pony. Why, is it 'body' or 'one' where you're from?"
"Yes it is." So they're ponies, that makes more sense now.
An awkward silence filled the room, no one just didn't know what to do next. Twilight and her friends would give a tour of Ponyville to Georgina, but they all know too well that everypony will go full panic and cause chaos - and that will not go good for a first impression.
"So, what do we do now? If the town's populace are also ponies, then no doubt I will cause panic if I am the first firran you have seen." Georgina had a pretty good idea on what the town will do if they saw her.
Twilight and the others knew exactly what she meant and just mentally agreed with her. If she was not allowed outside then there was only one place left on where she would have to stay in the meantime.
"Well for now you will have to stay here and never go outside until we sort this out. In fact that reminds me, the princesses will arrive tomorrow afternoon so we can work this out then."
Now it was Georgina's turn to be caught off guard. When Twilight stated earlier that she was a princess, she never thought that there were more princesses. If there were princesses then there would also have to be a king, queen, and a prince(s).
"Princesses? but why not the king or queen instead, aren't they the leaders of....what was it again ...'Equsira'?"
"Equestria" Applejack corrected. "And we don't have a king or queen sugercube, the princesses are the ones in charge."
"So your leaders are princesses then?" They all nodded in return. "Interesting, how many princesses are there?" Now Georgina was getting a little bit nosey here, but she was so curious right now that she just lost herself. (Well she is half cat....you know).
"There are four princesses. There is Princess Cele-" Twilight was cut off.
"Wait! that's all I need to know. If I'm going to meet these princesses tomorrow then I want them to introduce themselves to me, it just makes it feel more...what's the word? ...lively. Also it gives me a reason to be excited for tomorrow." Georgina interrupted wit her 'reasonable' answer.
"Uhh...sure" Twilight replied with confusion in her voice.
"My apologies for interrupting so rudely, but it's just a tradition that I do back home. When meeting new individuals it is best if they introduce themselves rather than someone else doing it for them. I hope you all understand."
"Do not worry Georgina, we fully understand. Right girls?" Rarity reassured.
They all agreed with a nod, a 'yup' or a 'yeah'. It seemed another awkward silence was about to return, until a certain someone decided to do a loud yawn.
"Looks like somepony's tired." Applejack joked.
"Sorry, I guess I haven't slept in a while, or my arrival used allot of my energy. Either way it has worn me out." Well she was treasure hunting all day before she got transported here, and the fact that she got knocked unconscious with some nasty cuts and bruises from earlier didn't help in the matter.
"Yeah it is late, ah think ah should get back to the farm"
"Indeed dear Applejack, a lady can't miss her beauty sleep."
"And I need to get back to my animals. Oh they must be so scared that I'm not home yet!" Fluttershy just only realised how long she was out, she should be home by now. So with incredible speed, she rushed out of the door back to her cottage. Not before turning around and saying a quick "Bye" to Georgina.
Animals? wonder what sorts they have here.
Applejack and Rarity made their goodbyes and made their way home - which left Twilight and Georgina alone in the room.
"So if I'm staying here, where am I going to sleep?"
"Well no doubt the guest room's bed will be way to small for you, and the sofa..." Twilight was stuck in trying to find a decent sleeping place for her guest. She wanted her to feel welcomed too so a good sleeping place is mandatory right now.
"What about that bed you had in the basement? If we can get it out I can sleep on that.
"Are you sure? I mean that bed is quite old and dusty."
"Don't worry, I've slept on rocks before." Georgina wasn't lying, one time she was in an iron mine and had to spend the night there - with nothing around but rocks, rail tracks, iron ores, the typical stuff you find in a mine.
Wow, she must have a very strong spine...or she's just good at ignoring pain. The alicorn thought to herself. "Sure, I will go down and bring it up here for you, just wait here." Twilight went downstairs into the dusty, dark basement littered with old contraptions and useless junk.
The bed wasn't really a proper bed - just a big mattress that hasn't been used in a long time. She knew that it was too big to fit through the door, so she grabbed the mattress with her magic. Creating a purple aura around it that matched her horn, and teleported herself and the mattress upstairs into the guest room.
Georgina was waiting in the main hall when she saw a purple flash from the open basement door. She hurried to the door and looked into the dark basement from upstairs.
"Twilight did something happen?" she called down gaining no response. Maybe something bad happened to her, or maybe she-
"I'm perfectly fine, just teleported your bed upstairs into the guest room to make things easier." She replied while walking downstairs from the upper floor - causing Georgina to turn around to the noise and let out a relieved sigh - knowing that nothing bad had happened.
Wait, did she say 'teleport'? I know that they can do magic, but on levels to do a teleportation spell!? I need to find out what else these ponies can do, they seem to surprise me with every minute that flies by.
Georgina was deep in thought while Twilight made her way towards her.
"I cleaned and made your bed for you upstairs, feel free to use the bathroom and help yourself to the kitchen for when you're hungry."
"Thank you Twilight, I am truly grateful for your hospitality. Which room did you say that my bed was in?"
"Once you go upstairs, it will be the second door to the right. Why are you going to bed already?" Twilight asked.
"Yes if it's alright with you, I think an early night will do me good. And-" *yawn* "-I will need it for tomorrow, I have a feeling it will be a busy day." Georgina replied
"Of course, get all the rest you need, I'm going to stay up a little later and catch up on some reading."
"Okay, goodnight Twilight."
"Goodnight Georgina, see you at breakfast."
And with that, Georgina made her way upstairs and followed Twilight's directions. She found the door that had 'Guest Room' on the front, it was quite small but not as small as the basement door. Opening the door, she waked in and closed it behind her.
Looking around she noted her surroundings. There was a simple desk with a chair tucked under it, a painting on the wall of a sunset behind some hills with flowers covering the ground, the guest bed that was indeed too small for her - if the bed was standing up it would probably come up to her elbows. There was a semi-circle window that had simple creamy coloured curtains that were currently open with the moonlight piercing through the glass. The room was already lit up with some candles so it was not too dark. She then saw the bed that Twilight brought up that was lying next to the guest bed, it was indeed cleaner that before she last used it when waking up in the basement, the bed was also covered in a dark blue sheet and had a thick purple blanket that was half folded over the bottom half of the bed.
"Twilight is too generous, I need to repay her when I get the chance." She muttered to herself before walking over to her bed and began to lie down on the surprisingly comfortable mattress. Maybe the fact that is had been made and was now clean had made it more relaxing to lie on. The bed was still a little bit small, but was good enough for her.
She was so tired that in fact she didn't even bother to undress or get under the covers, she was more than happy to just fade off right now and enjoy a good night's rest - and with that, she did.
End of Chapter 4
Beginning of Chapter 5
Darkness was all that consumed her vision, everywhere she looked it was just a long everlasting sea of black. She rubbed her eyes - making sure that she had them open or if her mind was playing tricks.
Her eyes were open so she was in a very dark place (again).
Not knowing what to do next, Georgina instinctively started to walk forward in a straight line, hoping to come across any sort of light.
The ground felt like a very cold, smooth stone floor, like when you go to a castle bear-footed and realise how chilling the ground was that sent chills up your spine.
Seconds felt like hours, days felt like months, years felt like decades, this endless strode to nowhere was starting to slowly melt away at her sanity. How much longer will this last for?
*BANG*
Her thoughts were interrupted by a sudden noise and a bright flash from behind her. Turning around - only to immediately regret it by a blinding white light that pierced her eyes like a bullet through cloth.
Forcing her eyes tight shut. She brought up her hands to block out the godlike light, it was like staring right at the sun but five times brighter.
The light then started to fade away, leaving a burning light mark in Georgina's sight. The blinding light got a normal brightness for her eyes to adjust, but something was off.
Her sight still fuzzy, she could see the outline of something that was in front of the light source, something that was...moving!? it seemed so familiar, like she has seen it before from somewhere back home. In fact that looked just like-
"Diabla!?" Georgina gasped with wide open eyes. It couldn't be, it was impossible!....right?
No, something's wrong. If that was her sister then they would be in each other's embrace, she would be comforting her younger sister like she always had before time and time again.
But this "Diabla" didn't even flinch, instead she stood there, still as a statue, eyes closed, face emotionless - the light from behind her shadowing most of her body.
Was she even breathing?
"Stop messing around Diabla, it's not funny." Georgina laughed nervously.
Again, she didn't move a muscle. Just continuing to stand there blankly.
"Sister, it's me: Georgina." She stated, this was really starting to scare her now, Diabla stood there like a soulless body that didn't know how react to the world around her.
Georgina was now sweating nervously, her heart beat now starting to race as she made her way in front of her sister. She reached out a hand to see what was wrong. Her hand was inches away from her was, only for her wrist to be grabbed violently with cold grasp.
Flinching to the sudden move, she looked down to see Diabla's hand around her wrist, getting tighter and tighter to the point that Georgina was in allot of pain.
Now in tears, she looked up to her face - still emotionless like the rest of her now sinister body. "Diabla! Please stop, this hurts and you're scaring me! Please!!!"
Georgina tried everything to free herself, but the cold grasp was only getting tighter. She could not move at all, like her body decided to disable itself. All she could move was her neck - which was wet from all the tears.
"Diabla" then raised her head up to meet Georgina's, a sinister creepy smile appearing on her face. Then her eye lids shot open.
Georgina could only breath heavily in fear at what was looking at her, this was not Diabla, it's eyes - what was left of them, were pitch black with blood red veins sporting all over, the pupils were a eerie white.
"Diabla" giggled evilly. her smile getting wider by the second. By now Georgina was just whimpering to herself, she wanted to shut her eyes, but now she lost control of her entire body. She was left staring wide open eyes at this monster.
"Hello Sister "
*Gasp* Georgina shot upwards, sweating enough to fill buckets, breathing rapidly like she ran a marathon.
She then looked around, she was sat up in a bed on the floor still in her clothes. The morning sunlight lighting up the room while birds tweeting outside could be heard.
*Sigh* "it was just a nightmare, nothing serious." She started to calm down, her breathing pacing back to normal with each contented sigh she let out.
The bedroom door burst open, revealing a very concerned purple alicorn.
"Georgina, are you alright? I heard crying and a scream." Twilight asked while she trotted up to her guest and checked to see if she was harmed in any way.
"Yes, I'm fine thank you Twilight. Just a bad dream." She said while rubbing her forehead with the back of her hand to wipe of the cold sweat.
Twilight then sighed with content, knowing that her friend was unharmed. "Oh thank Celestia, I thought something terrible happened. But if it was a dream that caused you to cry and scream, it must of been a real nightmare..."
Georgina shivered while some scenes from her nightmare came rushing back to her mind. "It was indeed a 'real nightmare', I just hope that it doesn't happen again."
Twilight nodded, she then returned to the door, but before leaving she looked back and saw that Georgina was still sat down on her bed. She was no doubt still recovering from the nightmare. It was best to just let her replenish and get ready for the day ahead.
"When you're ready, breakfast will be downstairs for you." Twilight stated.
"Thank you, I will be down in a minute."
Twilight smiled in return and left - closing the door behind her.
Why did I have that nightmare, it was the most terrifying dream I had in a long time. Getting off the makeshift bed, she stood up straight and readied herself for breakfast. I do hope Diabla is okay...
Recovering from her thoughts, she got ready and headed downstairs, following the smell of cooked food from the kitchen. It smelt odd for her - not bad, but strange. She reached the kitchen doorway and saw a small purple and green reptile creature standing on a stall who what seems to be...cooking!?
"Excuse me" The reptile immediately jumped from his stall - landing on the floor with a audible thud. He then got up, turned around - expecting a pony or something he recognised, but instead there was a tall bipedal cat creature with black and white fur, odd clothes, and some very notable weapons that would excel in self-defence, or even hunting.
"What are you? get away from me! I'll umm...uh.." He picks up a wooden cooking spoon from the side. "I'm armed, and I'm not a-afraid to use it!" He then begand waving the spoon like a sword, attempting - and utterly failing, to scare off his opponent.
"You better leave while....what..w-what's so funny!?"
Meanwhile, Georgina was struggling to breath while she burst out into a huge fit of laughter. It was probably the most funny thing she has seen in her whole life - and she has seen some weird, strange and hilarious things before, and for her, nothing compared to this.
A dragon - the most feared and deadly creatures to ever exist, is cooking some sort of mixture on a pan with a chef hat and an apron on. While humming a song to himself, decided to do a double barrel-roll in the air and landed ass first on the ground, then proceeded to get a wooden spoon and 'threaten' her like she was trespassing.
Seriously though, if you were there it would be allot more funnier to watch than to read it.
Spike could only just stand there and stare at this strange laughing creature and wait for her (he assumed she was a female, due to the feminine-like giggles she was giving off) to calm down - which took like 3 minutes.
After catching her breath, Georgina regained herself and stood up straight, still attempting to suppress the odd giggle that tried to excape.
"My apologies young one, I *giggle* I just couldn't hold back, I am truly sorry for laughing like that."
"Umm....sure." was all he managed to reply with, thoughts like 'what is she?', 'why was she here?' and 'How in Luna's moon did she just talk?'
They both stood there in silence staring at each other with different emotions planted on their faces. Georgina had a mix of a warm smile with giggles while the dragon just had a jaw-dropping expression, showing how confused he is right now.
"Uh, is that meant to be on fire?"
Spike didn't even need to turn around to see if his cooking was in flames, you could literally smell the smoke from upstairs.
"Oh scrap!" He immediately rushed for the cooker, turned the gas off to prevent it from burning any further and went for a bucket on the shelf.
But there was one problem, he couldn't reach, and the stool was too heavy for him to carry - even if he could, it would take too long before the fire quickly spread.
"C'mon, almost...there..." He was soo close, just a claw away.
But he was making no progress.
Georgina, seeing this as an opportunity to make up for what she did (it was sort of her fault that Spike was distracted and the food caught fire) went over to help the young dragon.
"Allow me" She easily grabbed the bucket, used the tap to fill it up (She didn't have taps or cookers back in Falcorth, but the Harani had similar contraptions so she recognised them and half knew how to work them) and went over to the roaring flames.
With one toss, the flames were doused which left nothing but steam and a blackened 'breakfast'.
Georgina felt guilty about distracting the dragon from his cooking - even as silly as that sounds, but she was in a world of magical, bright coloured ponies that can talk. She wanted to repay him if possible.
"Well, there goes breakfast." Spike stated with a disappointed sigh.
"I am terribly sorry, it's my fault and I wish to make it up to you."
Surprised by the sudden offer, Spike turned back to Georgina with a 'It's alright' expression.
"Naa don't fuss over it, it was just a small pancake anyway, and I can make new ones easily. Also thanks for putting out that fire."
"No problem, but it was still my fault that it happened in the first place. If I hadn't been here then you would be eating your....what are pancakes by the way?" She never heard of a 'pancake' before, since when do people cook cakes on a pan?
"WAIT! You never had pancakes before!?" She nodded. "Well you're missing out big time miss...."
"Just call me Georgina."
"Georgina, cool name. But yeah, why don't you go and sit down and I'll show you a real breakfast!" he said while making his way over to the cooker, replacing the burnt pan with a clean one from the cupboards and lighting the cooker. Getting back onto the stool and purred some mixture into the pan which started to sizzle.
Georgina made it over to the dining table, it was a simple oak table with four oak chairs, they were pretty small and quite awkward, but she handled it none the less.
"I never got your name, mind telling me?" She called over to him.
The purple dragon looked over his shoulder while his right claw still on the pan handle. "The name's Spike, and I live here with my friend Twilight."
"Yes I already met her yesterday, just so you know before you panic, I'm not trespassing. I was invited by Twilight."
Spike, surprised - but not surprised enough to distract him from his cooking this time. Gave Georgina a questionable look.
"Wow, how did you manage to convince her to let you in, or even Ponyville?"
"It's a long story, I'll tell you after breakfast, don't want the same incident to happen again." She chuckled.
"Yeah good point." And with that, he turned back and continued cooking.
That smell came back to her, but now it was allot stronger and this time it smelt delicious. Like that time when someone makes you a cake but you have never it before, and it smells absolutely amazing!
"Wow that sure does smell great Spike, I wonder if the taste is only as good." She joked and gave him a funny grin.
"Just you wait." He replied with a grin of his own.
Suddenly a familiar pony trotted into the kitchen, the second she noticed Georgina sat at the table (even if it was small for her) she gave smiled, then turned to Spike and noticed the smell.
"Mmm Spike, that sure does smell good, pancakes again?" Twilight asked with a giggle
"Of course Twilight, what sort of breakfast doesn't have pancakes?"
"Cereal?"
"Well besides from that, but you get the point."
Twilight chuckled at Spike's 'breakfast logic', if his breakfast didn't have pancakes in it then he wouldn't eat it. She knew this the hard way many times before.
She turned her attention back to Georgina - who was just staring with anticipation at the frying pan. Maybe it was just her cat instincts taking over and she wanted her food, or maybe it was because she has nothing else to do but just wait.
Twilight cleared her throat, gaining Georgina's attention. "So Georgina, I see you have met Spike, he wasn't able to meet us yesterday because he was out with the Cutie Mark Crusaders, how did it go?" She asked, but then sniffed the air around her a bit more. "And why do I smell burning?"
Georgina's smile vanished, knowing what she will say might enrage Twilight for nearly burning her house down - especially that it is a tree. But she was a individual who prefers 'harsh truth over false paradise'.
She was about to speak, until Spike jumped in before her.
"It went fine Twilight, but while we chatted I completely forgot about the pancake so it caught fire." At this Twilight face turned from curious to concerned, Spike noticed this. "Don't worry though, thanks to Georgina we was able to put it out completely before it could spread and cause any damage."
Hearing this, Twilight calmed down from her concerned look to a content look, knowing that nopony or nothing was hurt or damaged. She then looked over at the firran at the table - who was rubbing the back of her neck with her right hand and had a half guilty half sheepish look.
Twilight smiled at her. "Thank you Georgina, you were able to save our home from burning down and kept Spike safe."
"But the reason for the fire is because I was distracting Spike, If I hadn't-" She was cut off by Twilight putting a hoof up.
"Accidents happen, and we learn from them to not make them again. Your accident was distracting Spike, but you made it up by helping him putting out the fire, and for that I thank you."
Georgina smiled from Twilights reassuring words. She felt allot better now that was over with.
"All done!"
They both turned to the dragon to find him putting pancakes onto a plate, then carrying them over to the dining table. he placed them in front of Georgina - who looked at them curiously.
Georgina smelled them - and boy did she not regret anything. That one smell reminded her how hungry she was.
"Go on, try one." Spike commanded.
Georgina picked up her cutlery and stabbed some pancake on her fork, she brought it to her mouth and ate it.
After she swallowed, her eyes went wide and a wide smile creped on her face, she then proceeded to eat another bite, and another, and another...
"Wow you seem hungry." Twilight stated next to her while eating her salad.
Georgina finally paused after already eating half of the pancakes on the plate and looked over to Spike. "These are amazing! where did you learn to cook these?"
Spike stood up with his chest puffed out with pride while inspecting his claws in admiration. "Well you know, I guess I'm just a natural."
Georgina giggled at his pride, She then continued to finish her breakfast - allot more civil this time.
Something then popped into her mind. "Twilight, when did you say the princesses will arrive?"
"Around 02:00pm, it's only 07:30am right now so we have plenty of time to get ready." She answered while finishing her salad. She then grabbed the empty plates and levitated them over to the sink to be washed. Opening the cupboards she grabbed out a glass.
"Do you want a drink Georgina?"
"Please, water will do just fine."
"And you Spike?"
"No thanks, I'm fine."
Twilight nodded and grabbed out a second glass and filled one up with cider and the other with water.
Once done, she levitated Georgina's drink over to her - who accepted and downed the entire drink in one go.
"Thank you."
"Your welcome, now that breakfast is done, do you mind if I ask you some questions?"
Georgina didn't see anything wrong with this, she had nothing else to do and she needed to wait for the princesses arrival later in the after noon anyway.
"Of course, but questions that are too personal I don't feel like answering."
Twilight nodded and went to the other room to grab a notepad and quill, once she was back she went over to the dining table - where the other were sat, and cleared her throat.
"So, what is your home called?"
End of Chapter 5
Beginning of Chapter 6
"What's your favourite colour?"
"Lime"
"How long do firrans live for?"
"Around eighty years."
"What do you think of Equestria?"
"Well I have only been here for two days and I've not seen much outside..."
"Oh yeah sorry, silly question."
Twilight and Georgina have been sat at the dining table for twenty minutes now going through all sorts of questions, some were simple like "how old are you?", while others were a bit too personal for Georgina's taste so she nodded to Twilight to move on to the next one. Georgina didn't mind this at all, besides she had nothing else to do and this would help her to kill the time.
Several minutes later, Spike returned with his comic book 'The rise of Zoncron', which had a crazy scientist fighting off against a silver pegasus.
"Are you two STILL answering questions, I thought you both had finished ages ago." The dragon asked while getting onto a chair at the table and started to read his comic.
Georgina noticed the colourful book in Spike's possession. She has never seen anything like it before, most books back home were allot more dull and less colourful, and not to mention they were much larger. She was tempted to ask what the book was about and it's colourful features, but she quickly reminded herself that she was answering questions for Twilight and didn't bother (mainly because Twilight wouldn't stop asking questions.)
It was another twenty minutes later, and it seemed that Twilight was almost finished through her long check list of questions.
*KNOCK* *KNOCK*
Spike launched himself of his chair and went for the door. "I'll get that!"
Georgina looked back at Twilight with a raised eyebrow. "Could that be the princesses?"
Twilight looked at the kitchen clock before answering the question. "No, it's still the morning and they will arrive in the afternoon."
Spike unlocked the many unnecessary locks that were on the front door of the library and pulled the doorknob to open it. He was instantly met with a certain pink earth pony who wore a huge joyful smile (as usual) and continued to bounce on the spot like her legs were made of springs.
"Hey Spike, is Geo in?" Pinkie casually asked.
"Yeah why-" But before he could ask, Pinkie jumped through the doorway and went for the kitchen, leaving Spike with a 'what just happened?' look on his face while he slowly closed the door.
"What do you do for a living?"
"I like to-" She was about to answer when her hearing picked up something, something different. The noise was getting louder and louder by the second, which to her felt like minutes. It didn't sound like Spike little footsteps, but it also didn't sound life hoofsteps. Whatever it was it was unknown to her, and to her 'unknown' mainly meant trouble.
Twilight was reading her check list waiting for Georgina to finish her answer, but she kept silent, making the alicorn to look up in confusion. Only to see her staring at the kitchen doorway with her ears twitching.
"Georgina?"
"Something coming..." She warned, getting into a slight defensive stance while slowly getting up from her seat.
The strange noise got louder and louder, to the point were it sounded like it was just around the door. Then it stopped, silence....
..........
...........
"Hey Geo!!"
"AAHH!!"
Jumping to near death, Georgina spun around offensively to meet her..."Pinkie?"
"SURPRISE!!" The pink pony gestured with each fore-hoof in the air while wearing her usual smile.
"Wha...how...when..." The firran was wearing her new look of confusion, she was switching gazes between Pinkie and the Doorway. How in Nui's name did she just do that!?
Twilight noticed Georgina's look and just simply tolled her "Don't question it, she's just being Pinkie."
Georgina had a feeling that it would indeed be best if she doesn't question it, thinking that it would give her more questions than answers.
Turning back to face Pinkie - who was just giggling to herself, probably due to the funny looks that Geo gave of. She sighed in relief that it was nothing bad like an assassin or something dangerous that sneaked up on her. She then cleared her throat to get her attention.
"Pinkie please do not do that again, I don't react well to sudden surprises like that. They tend to get me 'over the edge' sometimes."
"Okey Dokey!" She simply replied, her signature smile plastered onto her face like always.
Twilight decided to join in. "Pinkie, why are you here? Not that I don't appreciate my friends keeping me company, but aren't you busy at Sugercube Corner?"
In return, Pinkie shook her head while giggling in the process. "Don't be such a silly billy Twilight. It's a Monday remember? Everypony are too busy to stop by, and I'm sure the Cakes can handle a few customers."
"Umm, how are some cakes going to serve customers?"
Both Pinkie Pie and Twilight changed their gazes to the still confused firran at the end of the table, seconds later they both (especially Pinkie) tried to hold back a huge wave of laughter, but it was futile.
Meanwhile Georgina just stared at the two laughing ponies with a serious expression. "What?!"
While Pinkie was dying from laughter, twilight managed to calm down to a point where she could talk again, a few giggles and chuckles escaping her. "It's not literally cakes serving the place, their family name are the Cakes. Like Mr and Mrs Cake."
"Oooh, now that makes sense." Georgina was mentally face palming herself for thinking of such a silly question.
Twilight and Georgina waited patiently for Pinkie to calm down and catch her breath, after five minutes did she finally relax.
"Oh Geo, you come up with some funny jokes, I can't wait to tell the others."
This got a friendly chuckle from the firran, but then she remembered something. "Pinkie, if you don't mind me asking, but you never finished explaining on why you were here."
Pinkie got the reminder and gasped, she then pulled out a paper bag from nowhere (Georgina still knew that it was best to not question it.) and placed it down on the table in front of Georgina - who just looked at the bag curiously.
"I was going to make you a 'Welcome to Ponyville and Equestria' surprise party, but after knowing that you can't be seen by anypony, the party sounded like a bad idea. So I made you some treats instead, hope you like them!"
And with that, Pinkie left without a trace.
Georgina again just reminded herself to not question Pinkie's ability to just appear and disappear like like a ghost. It will take a while for her to get used to that. She then switched her attention to the cyan and pink paper bag in front of her that Pinkie left. using her claws, she swiftly opened the top in one go, before she was immediately met with a sugary scent filling her nostrils.
When Pinkie said that she made her some treats, she wasn't kidding. Inside were six cupcakes with each having their own coloured icing. There was a red, a blue, a yellow, a green, and an orange.
But the sixth one caught her attention the most, this one was covered in black and white striped icing - just like her fur, and to confirm that Pinkie did this on purpose it had a golden coloured text on top spelling 'Geo'.
"Wow, these are amazing!"
"Try one." The purple alicorn said.
Without hesitation, Georgina picked up the yellow cupcake and took a bite.
Words cannot describe the heavenly bliss she had just entered.
Georgina was known to have a sweet tooth back home. She would pay her daily visit at Melkavich's bakery and have her favourite cakes. Compared to Pinkie's cakes though, they were enough to match her old friend's goods any day of the week. They were sweet, but not too sweet to make her gag. The cake had a strong flavour of lemon - probably why the icing was yellow. The cake itself was sponge with a second layer of lemon icing through the middle, it wasn't too dry or too moist. Just perfect.
After taking the last bite out of her snack, Georgina let out a satisfied moan with a content smile across her face.
"I see you like Pinkie's cakes." Twilight added.
"Mmm, it was probably the best cakes I ever had. They were delicious."
After finally gaining control over himself, Spike walked into the room with a smile, then that smile turned to confusion. "Hey where's Pinkie, didn't she just come in a second ago?"
Twilight turned her gaze to the young dragon. "Yes she was here to give Georgina a present to welcome her to Ponyville, but she had to leave afterwards to do her usual Pinkie Pie stuff."
Spike then noticed the bag on the table. "Cool, what did she give you?"
The firran put her hand into the bag and picked a cake by random, pulling out the red one.
"She got me some cakes to welcome me. They are outstanding!" She replied while holding up the cake in her hand to show Spike.
Spike chuckled while he made his way back to his previous seat, which still had his comic on the table.
Georgina then remembered something. "Oh Twilight-" gaining her attention. "-For your question earlier, I find and collect long lost treasures and artefacts for a living."
Twilight nodded, picking up her quill before dipping it into some ink, she wrote the note onto her long check list. "Okay, I think that's everything."
"Finally" Spike mumbled to himself while reading his comic, getting to the part where the silver pegasus deactivates the device to shut down the forcefield.
Silence reigned the room for the next few minutes. Georgina knew that she couldn't bare to do this any longer.
"So, what can we do now? we got around two hours till the princesses arrive right?"
Twilight put hoof to chin while thinking, what can they do for the next two hours. They certainly cannot just sit there and do nothing.
Luckily for her though, she has her number one assistant to the rescue. "Why don't you two play some games or something?" Then something snapped inside his mind. "Hey Twilight, do you still have that chess board?"
Twilight perked up, Georgina has probably never played chess before and she loves to teach to others. "Great idea Spike, I'll be right back!"
Twilight then made her way out of the room, leaving the dragon and firran alone for the time being.
This was a good opportunity to ask about his comic. "Spike, what sort of book is that?"
Spike - a little caught of guard by the random question, paused his reading to look up at Georgina with a shocked face. "What do you mean?"
"Well where I come from, the books are mainly allot more....less colourful."
Spike then found out what she meant and where she was going with this. "Oh right, well this book is called a 'comic', think of it as an adventure-picture book than a text book. We also have the normal books here that are 'less colourful' too, but I prefer to read this when I am not cleaning the library."
Georgina nodded, the 'comic' truly did fascinate her. The colours and the design of the cover really looked inviting and she was intrigued. Maybe one day she will get the chance to read it herself.
Twilight made her entrance through the doorway, levitating a wooden board with smaller pieces on top. She placed it down in front of Georgina and sat the opposite end to her - the white pieces on Georgina's side and the black pieces on Twilight's.
"Have you ever played chess before?" The purple alicorn asked.
Georgina stared at the wooden board in front of her, which had a chequered pattern on top with a set of evenly amount of pieces on each side with opposite colours.
"No, this 'chess' you speak of, I have never heard it before. What do you do?"
Twilight smiled after finding out that she will have teach Georgina in how to play. "I'll show you."
"Check mate"
Twilight looked at the board in front of her, she had the biggest dumbfounded look right now. She went to chess club when she was in magic school, she is an alicorn princess, an Element bearer. She was unbeatable.
was...
After teaching Georgina how to play chess, Twilight had lost not one, not two, but THREE games in a row by somepony who had never played it before.
She had met her match.
"Wow Georgina, you beat Twilight at a game that she never loses three times in a row, and to make it better, this is your first time too!!" Spike was also shocked, but mainly impressed by Twilight's opponent at how she made it look easy to beat probably one of the best chess players in Equestria.
Twilight cut herself out of her thoughts and stared at Georgina with her still dumbfounded look on her face. "How...how did you do it?!" She asked in a disbelieved tone.
Georgina just shrugged and smirked at her victories. "I guess I'm just a natural."
"Well you better be ready for next time, because I'll snatch victory out of the jaws of defeat." Twilight stated in a commanding but playful tone.
"I'll be ready." Georgina countered.
*KNOCK* *KNOCK* *KNOCK*
Twilight gasped and looked at the clock.
It was time.
"That must be the princesses!" She warned with a surprised look. "We have been so into our game that we lost the track of time."
"That's a good thing right, didn't you two intend to kill the time?" Spiked asked.
Twilight focused her attention back to Spike who had a puzzled look. "Of course it's a good thing Spike. I was just caught off guard at how quickly the time went by."
"Well shouldn't you go ans answer it then?" The young dragon asked. Seriously Twilight is freaking out over how fast the time went by, but when the princesses do arrive she doesn't bother to answer the door....Well, I have seen stranger things from her before so this is pretty much normal.
Soon after, Twilight went to the door with a nervous pace. Once she reached her destination she unlocked the door and all that was left was to pull the door open.
Okay, this is it. She thought to herself before cautiously swinging the door inward.
Meanwhile Georgina and Spike were alone in the kitchen, waiting for any signal to make their appearance.
"You nervous?" Spike asked with a slight concerned tone.
Georgina snapped out of her thoughts and faced Spike with a sigh.
"Just a little bit, I mean I am going to meet royalty, and not only that but I am representing my kind at the same time. What if I mess up or anger them?" She asked in a shaky tone, her thoughts would not cease at the images of her getting thrown into prison or a dungeon, left to rot to the core.
Spike noticed the shakiness in her stance. "Don't worry Geo. The princesses are the nicest and most forgiveable ponies in Equestria. Also you're already friends with Twilight remember and she's royalty. So if she trusts you then there is no doubt that the other princesses will trust you too."
Georgina mentally agreed with Spike's reassured statement and gave him a warm smile and a 'thank you' look.
The kitchen door swung open a little to reveal a happy Twilight. "Okay Georgina, you can come in now." She then left and closed the kitchen door behind her.
The firran went for the door, she then looked back at Spike - who gave her a nod to proceed.
Okay, time to represent my kind.
The door opened, and what she saw on the other side made Georgina stare in awe. (No doubt they were staring back at her in awe too.)
There in the library were three other alicorn princesses just like Twilight, but with with different features.
The first one she noticed was how much taller they were compared to the other ponies that she had met. The tallest one being the white alicorn that was almost Georgina's height, if they had stood together face to face then the top of her head would come up to her eyes and her horn to her ears.
The next noticeable feature were the constant flowing manes. while Twilight and the pink one didn't possess such features, the navy blue and white alicorn did. Their manes were flowing in an invisible wind and were decorated with beautiful patterns. The white alicorn having a streak of pink, blue and green, giving it a pastel look. While the navy blue alicorn has a blue mane that matched her fur coat with small stars patterned all over. Giving it a look of the night sky. The pink alicorn's mane was also striped just like the white one's, but her colours were yellow, pink and purple, also giving her mane a sweaty look.
Speaking of said alicorns, they were giving Georgina a curious look, like they have never seen anything like her before (which is probably true). They were all (especially the blue one) just staring at him in awe, admiring her features from paws to ears.
Then the most unexpected things happened. Georgina took a few steps forward towards the princesses - making them tense a little. She stopped in front of the three...
And she bowed.
Not just a quick nod, but a proper, elegant bow where she got down onto one knee with her head hung low. Showing them that she respected them.
The white and blue one shared gazes for a while, this has completely caught them off guard. They were expecting it to be some savage beast with no manners at all, but this was the complete opposite to what they expected.
The blue one smiled and nodded towards the white alicorn, who smiled in return before returning to the bowed creature in front of her.
"You may rise." She commanded
Georgina did so and stood back to full height.
"What are you?" the blue one asked with curiosity in her voice.
Georgina cleared her throat before speaking, ensuring that she will speak clearly to them. "My name is Georgina and I am a firran. Long story short I am from a far away land - probably on a different planet. When I arrived I was knocked unconscious two days ago - according to Twilight, and her and her friends brought me here safely without any of the populace seeing. Since then I have been appreciating Twilight's hospitality and concern for my well being."
Georgina paused to let all of that information to slip in, the looks on the alicorn's faces varied between curious and concerned, or a bit of both.
The white alicorn stepped forward. "Well allow us to introduce ourselves. My name is Princess Celestia, co-ruler of Equestria and Raiser of the Sun."
"We are Princess Luna of the night, co-ruler of Equestria and Raiser of the Moon."
"I am Princess Mi Amore Cadenza - but you can just call me Princess Cadence. Ruler of the Crystal Empire and Princess of Love."
Wait a minute, did those two just say 'Raiser of the Sun and Moon'?
Cadence noticed the confused look on firran. "Is something wrong Georgina?"
"Huh wha?" She snapped out of her thoughts (she tends to do that allot recently) and realized that she was staring into blank space. "Oh it's nothing your majesties, I was just deep in thought for a moment."
Celestia decided that it was a good idea to try and lighten up the mood. "So Georgina, why don't you tell us about yourself?"

Note
Luna will be mostly speaking modern English rather than her Shakespeare way of speaking.
Also I'm not 100% accurate with Archeage's lore so if I am wrong, please don't take it too seriously.
Beginning of Chapter 7
"You're an archaeologist? "
"Well....not exactly, I just like too hunt for treasures in my free time, it has become a hobby for me really."
"What sort of treasures?"
"Gold, lost artefacts, relics, the usual."
It has been an hour since the princesses arrived. After their little introduction they all decided to go to the dining table in Twilight's kitchen to do some questions and answers, Georgina was more than happy to share information about her and her home. She could see that the princesses were very interested too, listening to every word and detail she explained.
"Pray tell, if there were relics on your world, does that mean that there used to be an ancient civilization?" Asked the lunar princess.
This question seemed to grab Georgina's attention the most so far. She knew about the fall of Auroria and a little about how it happened. She also knew all the races taking refuge to Nuia and Haranya - now their home, but that was really all that she knew apart from remembering a few conversations with some of her friends. Turning to face Luna, she hesitated a little but managed to think of an answer to give them a basic idea.
"When I was younger, I didn't really pay attention in the lessons that my tutors gave me, but from what I do know is that the place where I go finding treasures is a lost continent called Auroria. Long ago it used to be a place of gold and wonder, there were grand castles and monumental cities that could reach the clouds all over the continent." She paused for a few seconds to let that information to slide in. "But one day, the God of Destruction - Kyrios, became corrupted, hungered for more power and waged war on the other gods. In the end Auroria - the once peaceful land, was nothing but a pile of rubble."
After hearing this the princesses wore surprised and shocked expressions. They were just clueless as to why someone would destroy such a beautiful land, was the hunger for more power really that great for Kyrios? But Georgina wasn't finished.
"Just before Auroria collapsed though, an archangel of Nui - the Goddess of the Hereafter and Death, sacrificed herself to open a large portal to two other continents to save us from annihilation. The Nuians and Elves went to Nuia, while the Haranians and Firran arrived at Haranya. After a few minor conflicts, we have been at peace with the Haranians and have come to work with our new neighbour to keep Haranya safe from Nuians and Elves - our new enemies."
Georgina sighed contently after the long 'history lesson'. With the limited knowledge that she has about the fall of Auroria, she thought that she did pretty good in explaining what happened.
With their still shocked expressions, the princesses were taken away by such a world where gods were real as the flesh can be. this 'archangel' must of had such a pure heart to sacrifice herself to save others for a better and brighter future.
Regaining herself, Celestia cleared her throat. "I must say, that is quite the story you told us there."
Chuckling a bit and giving her a warm smile in return was all that she could muster right now, she was still recovering a bit from the large explanation. Picking up her glass of water that Spike had so generously offered, she downed the drink in three gulps, placing the glass back on the table with a soft *thud*.
Luna was deep in thought about what Georgina had explained. Or more specific, the part about Kyrios. She knew more than anypony else in Equestria of what it is like to become corrupted and go mad for power. Long story shot: She went corrupted when she was younger - releasing her darker half. But in the end she was defeated and paid the ultimate punishment.
But all of that is in the past, what matters now is the present.
"So Celestia, what do we do now?" Cadence asked with a questioning look.
The white alicorn turned to face her niece, making an audible "hmm". "Well, we will have to get back to soon so we can't stay here." She then turned to her firran friend. "But you can't stay and hide here forever, the town will no doubt spot something suspicious going on and the rumours will spread like wild fire - causing confusion and false assumptions. Also no doubt that staying indoors all day will do you no good."
Georgina nodded in agreement. "But where will I go then if I can't stay here? And also what happens if the populace do manage to spot me?"
"Don't worry, we will think of a plan before we take our leave."
For the next five minutes, the kitchen was conquered by a complete silence, all that could be heard was the clock's tick-tocks. Everyone was very deep in their thoughts, using all available brainpower to think of a master plan - or any plan in this case.
"Of course!" Everyone jumped slightly to the sudden noise which sounded like a dragon's roar due to the now shattered silence. Looking at the source, Luna had a wide smile full of confidence.
"Sister, why do we not just bring Georgina to Canterlot with us?" She asked with full confidence in her tone.
Celestia meanwhile, was just questioning Luna's intelligence at the moment. Bringing Georgina to Canterlot would probably make matters worse.
"Luna, I don't know what in Equestria gave you that idea, but doing that will no doubt make our current situation much worse. Do you not remember how stubborn and arrogant the nobles are?"
"Course we remember Tia, who could ever forget those stuck-up ponies that call themselves 'nobles'?"
"Then please tell me, where are you going with this?"
Luna just continued to smile (and slightly grin), she obviously had a plan worked out and everyone else in the room could also see that due to her expression.
"Well-" She started "-If we do bring Georgina to Canterlot with us, then we could introduce her to everypony, and welcome her as a citizen of Equestria." She paused for a second before continuing. "Also you remember how prejudice and superstitious the ponies in Ponyville can be? Thus making it allot more risky in trying to persuade them to welcome our guest. If they see that the ponies of Canterlot - their capital and home to their rulers, have come to welcome Georgina with open hooves then they will have no reason to decline."
Twilight finally decided it was her turn to speak. "But Princess Luna, why not just announce Georgina here? If they see that you trust her then wouldn't the rest of Ponyville also trust her?"
Luna shook her head in disagreement. "Like we mentioned before Twilight Sparkle. Yes we could attend the speech here and now if we wished too, but the populace here will have a harder time in trusting and welcoming Georgina due to their beliefs and unfair assumptions. If we do it in Canterlot however then we have a greater chance in succeeding. The ponies are allot more understanding and will listen to their princesses. The nobles however, may be stubborn, but they too are understanding at least." If you mention the word 'bits' that is.
Everyone else (besides Georgina) seems to understand where Luna is going with this, and after a few minutes of thinking it through or to come up with a better plan. They all finally agreed with Luna's idea and went to converse with each other about different topics.
From what Georgina could hear, Celestia and Luna were talking about what they would do when they get back and about the speech that they would have to make later today. Twilight went on about a 'To do' list that she gave Spike incase she would have to go to Canterlot with the others.
Cadence was going to join Celestia and Luna in their conversation before she noticed Georgina was on her own at the end of the table. She didn't seemed to be bothered by this however, she instead seemed to be thinking to herself with her elbow on the table and chin nested into her palm. Eyes staring blankly at the oak table in front of her with no sign of any emotion in them at all.
When Cadence arrived next to Georgina - who was still thinking to herself in the same position, she lightly nudged her arm with her hoof. The firran jumped and a gasp escaped her mouth. By instinct she grabbed Cadence's hoof with a cold harsh grip, she raised up her other hand in an attacking stance - making her claws easily visible (and scary) to her attacker.
The second she realised that is was no attacker, but instead Cadence. Georgina immediately withdrew her grip from her hoof and relaxed, putting aside her defensive stance and replace it with an apologetic look that could make a hydra go 'awww'. Her ears were angled downward to the side rather than upward like they usually are, that alongside with the most adorable 'I dead' look just makes Cadence re-think her opinion about Georgina. It's like she has the ability to be as intimidating as a dragon, but she can also be the most cutest big softy creature that you will ever see.
Georgina finally made eye contact with the alicorn, seeing those large purple eyes expressing in such a guilty way just made Cadence's heart melt of pity towards the firran. She looked like a child who had just been caught sneaking into the kitchen at night when she should be sleeping.
"I am dreadfully sorry Princess Cadence! I-I just don't..I-"
"It's fine Georgina, don't worry."
After hearing that she has been granted forgiveness, Georgina's ears perked back up to their normal stance, she let out a relieved sigh and managed to calm herself, her heartbeat, and her muscles down. "Whenever I get jumped or surprised, my instincts takes over and I retaliate to whoever startled me. Most of the time they are thieves, pirates, or assassins. So being in a peaceful land like Equi...Equa..E-"
"Equestria." Cadence corrected.
"Equestria yes, I got to learn to say that properly." They both chuckled at this. "Back in Haranya, I travelled to allot of cities and trade ports where thievery was on a daily basis. So being in a peaceful land such as Equestria makes me feel strange that no one has tried to rob me. Or because none of your planet's people - besides you and the others, has seen me yet."
Cadence on the outside wore a calm expression, but on the inside she was quite shocked and impressed that Georgina had to put up with poni...people trying to steal her property, or attempting to harm her in any way shape or form. She must be quite experienced in combat by the sound of it.
"I understand. I'll be sure not to sneak up on you in the future, and I'll make sure to let the others know of this too." Cadence stated.
Georgina smiled at this. "Thank you, I appreciate it Princess Cadence." She thanked, slightly bowing her head aswell.
Cadence then giggled a little. "Oh please, you can just call me Cadence, the title isn't needed now that we are friends, and I don't really prefer being called 'princess' all the time anyway."
Georgina nodded in return. She was about to ask Cadence some questions before she was interrupted by a single cough.
Celestia and Luna arrived next to the pair. "Cadence, Georgina it is time for us to take our leave." Celestia stated.
Then reality hit the firran's mind. "Excuse me Princess, but how will we get to Canterlot without being seen?"
Cadence seemed to be wearing the same questioning look. "She has a point aunty, we arrived here via flight so how will we get to Canterlot if Georgina can't fly? Even if she could she would still be seen."
Celestia let out an audible "Hmm", Georgina and her niece did have a good point. If they can't fly there. Then they would have to-
"Teleport" Luna stated, beating her sister to it first. "If we can't transport to Canterlot via carriage, then we have no choice but to use teleportation."
Celestia realized something about this plan. "Luna, we have no idea if Georgina is used to magical abilities such as teleportation. Remember she's not from Equestria - or maybe even this world, something on that level may cause harm to her, or worse."
Luna hung her head low from her sister's warning, maybe her plan was useless and-
"Actually, I have used magic before."
All the princesses was surprised when she claimed to use magic. Celestia immediately asked "How is that possible? You don't have a horn."
Georgina just smiled, giving of a friendly chuckle. "You are correct, we do not have horns, but we don't need them. Back in Haranya I trained to the arts of magic and sorcery with a old friend of mine, and recently I have become a master of it. Because we don't have horns we instead build a weapon called a 'staff', basically it's a long well crafted stick that's around five feet in length. Also most staffs are decorated with different kind of gems to help concentrate the magic flow more and create more powerful spells that simple ones cannot."
It seemed to become a new hobby for Georgina now, every now and again she would surprise anyone (or in her case: anypony) and give them a shocked or surprised expression on their face.
The princesses couldn't believe it, but they could tell that she was speaking truthfully. They previously thought that Equestria was the only land that contained magic, so hearing that there was also magic elsewhere certainly surprised them.
Luna seemed to cheer up after noticing that her plan hadn't failed. "Well then, let us get ready and prepare to leave for Canterlot."
Everyone else in the room nodded in agreement. Celestia went to note the guards outside of the library that her, the princesses and their 'guest' will be teleporting there and that they can leave and make their way back to Canterlot. Once she went back inside everyone was in the main room.
Georgina quickly dashed of into the kitchen and back again, leaving a confused look on the princesses. She seemed to notice this. "I just went to grab the cakes that Pinkie made me earlier, thought that I'll get hungry on the trip." She stated while holding up the cyan and pink bag in her hand, then putting it back into her pouch where her two minor healing potions were.
Turning to face the firran, Luna asked. "Are you ready?"
She nodded and put on a confident look. "Yup, ready as ever."
All the princesses trotted around Georgina and made a circle. then all of a sudden their horns began to glow. Celestia's a golden, Luna's a blue, Cadence's a cyan and Twilight's a violet.
Halfway through the spell, Georgina thought of something. "Cadence?"
"Yes?"
"How far away is Canterlot?"
"Oh, about thirty miles or so, why?"
Georgina then gulped with a panicked face. "It's just that when I use teleportation, I never could that far..."
While still performing the spell along with the other princesses, Cadence put on a slightly confused look. "Wait, what was the furthest that you managed to teleport before?"
All their horns started glowing brighter and brighter, the spell was almost complete. "Umm...around half a mile..."
"Crap-" *FLASH* .

8: Preparations
================
Beginning of Chapter 8
Cadence POV
"Will she be alright doctor?" I ask.
Doctor Aid finished his check up to look at me. "Well from the limited knowledge I have about this creature. She seems to be in good shape. She's just exhausted from the teleportation spell."
Me and aunt Luna sighed with relief. After we teleported to the Canterlot throne room we found Georgina lying on the floor unconscious. Our immediate reactions were to get her to the infirmary as soon as possible. All the ponies that saw the event unfold were told by Celestia that everything will be explained later on in the evening. I wished that I asked her about the long range teleportation problem that she had before we started the spell, then we won't be in this mess in the first place.
Once we arrived, Celestia called for her best Doctor (Doctor Aid) and some nurses to check on Georgina. They were a little hesitant at first, but that's understandable. After Twilight did a very quick explanation they put aside their fears and checked on the patient. Me and Luna helped carry Georgina into the patient's room and laid her down on the bed while Celestia and Twilight went out to explain to the confused witnesses about the sudden events that just occurred.
Speaking of Luna, since we arrived she has been feeling very guilty because this was her idea. I did my best to tell her "It's not your fault aunty, it was an accident and Georgina will forgive you. She will be fine."
Luna smiled back at me. Both of us sat beside the bed facing our poor unconscious friend while she is continuing to be checked over by Doctor Aid. She sighs and hangs her head low "I know dear niece, it's just....I can't stop feeling that this was my fault. This was my plan and I should of known better."
Luna's smile slowly fades away while tears starts to take it's place. Just when she was fitting in again with her little ponies, she thinks that she had just harmed one of her subjects - the worst possible scenario to ever happen to her.
I put my wing over her back in an effort to comfort her. "Sshh it's okay, Georgina is just exhausted from the journey and now she is just sleeping. She's perfectly fine like Doctor Aid said, and once she wakes up I'll guarantee that she can't wait to see you again."
It seemed my attempt to cheer her up had worked. Luna raised her hoof and wiped away the tears consuming her emotions . She raised her head and gave me a warm happy smile. "Thank thee Cadence." and with that we gave each other a snugly hug. - Making it rather awkward for Doctor Aid to focus on his work might I add.
We sat in the room for what felt like thirty minutes. Doctor Aid had left around ten minutes ago to attend to other patients in need. He made sure to state that if anything happens in his absence then we are to let him know. We both gave him assured nods before he closed the door behind him.
We both then started conversations, topics between what everypony else will think of Georgina - no doubt rumours are spreading as we speak. Where she possibly came from, how will everypony treat her if she walked through the streets of Canterlot. We even talked about which guest room she will be having - and getting a suitable bed size for her height.
Then of course there was one specific topic that crossed both of our minds.
"What about Georgina's magic? She had claimed to be able to use magic with something called a 'staff' right?"
Luna nodded. "I was thinking the same Cadence. Perhaps when she has time she can demonstrate some of her magical spells to us, I'm interested to see what they are like compared to our magic."
"Yeah, I'm also interested in seeing what a 'staff' looks like, apparently it's-"
*Cough* *Cough*
The second we heard it, we both knew what that noise was, and who's voice it belonged to. Completely forgetting about our conversation, we both faced the bed where we saw a groaning firran.
"Georgina!"
Georgina POV
.....Georgina!......
Returning back to reality, I slowly opened my eyes and found that I was lying on some sort of bed, surprisingly this bed isn't too short for me. When my eyelids fully lifted, I found myself staring at a white marble-looking ceiling with some funny looking lights - maybe they're powered by electricity rather than candles.
Unlike the last time when I woke up from unconsciousness, I wasn't in any pain at all, not even a headache. The most pain I was in would be a dry throat. In fact I feel energetic and refreshed, I felt ready to start a new day - or was it the same day when we teleported to....Canterlot..
Shooting upwards into a sitting position in an instant, I didn't even have a chance to take in my surroundings for I was immediately greeted by two happy alicorns.
"Huh, are you two okay?" I asked
They both disengaged the hug and backed away to the side of the bed in order to give me some breathing space. Cadence spoke. "We should be the ones asking you that question. Are you feeling alright?"
I nodded. "Yes thank you, I feel no pain at all."
Cadence smiled in return. "I am glad that you are in good health." She then turned to face her companion. "Luna, I will go and let Doctor Aid know about her awakening, I'll be back in a minute."
Luna nodded. "Of course dear niece, I will keep our friend company."
Once Cadence left the room and closed the door behind her, an awkward silence conquered the room for the next few minutes. This was a good time for me to take in my surroundings and by the looks of it, it seems that I am in some sort of hospital. Some contraptions that I recognised were in the room like the electric powered lights, but there were also some machines that were completely alien to me. A poster on the wall of what appeared to be a pony's skeletal structure with something metal next to it called 'X-Ray' - whatever that meant.
"Georgina-" Luna's sudden voice caught me off guard. Ignoring my gaze of the room I turned to face her. "-We..I am sorry for what I did, I was so naive to not think that there would be side effects of teleportation at such a long range. I hope you will forgive us for you have all rights to be mad at me..."
Wow, I was not expecting that, she must feel really bad about this.
Now understanding what she was apologizing for, I got up from my bed and stood up in front of the whimpering alicorn. I could not stand to see a friend cry and blame herself for all the wrongs that happened, so I knelt down and lifted her head with my hand - staring at eye level.
"Listen-" I started. "-the plan of getting here may have been yours, but the accident wasn't. It was not your fault that I passed out when we arrived. Accidents happen whether we like it or not, and one of the many goals in life is to learn from them and be prepared for next time. So there is no need to feel guilty about any of this." I paused for a moment to let her catch up, I smile. "I forgive you princess, and I always will. Never forget it."
Once I finished, I held up my arms to the side in a hug gesture. Luna seemed to understand so she leaned forward and started sobbing into my chest - her being careful not to poke me with her horn at the same time. I was more than happy for her to let her locked up emotions out and empty them into tears. Being royalty must mean that you cannot show any sign of weakness to any of your citizens, thus keeping a straight regal face with a strong stance to give confidence to your subjects. Showing them that their rulers are powerful, caring and will go to the end of the world to protect them from all threats that opposes them.
And add in the fact that you will be doing that for your whole life must mean that there is ALLOT of emotions waiting to be unleashed.
We both stayed there for a while, enjoying the comforting silence while Luna continued to cry - making my top rather damp from her tears, but I didn't mind. Her crying seemed to noticeably slow down and eventually stop. Luna started to gently push away and brake the hug - me still on my knees to make it slightly easier for Luna to speak rather than having to look up and strain her neck.
Standing up firmly, she casted a quick spell to fix up her messy form back to her usual regal stance - vanishing all the tears in her eyes and fixing her mane back to normal. Luna then smiled with appreciation all over her face. "Cadence mentioned the same earlier before your awakening, but on the inside that guilt never deceased. Now after hearing it from you, I feel much better now. Thank you Georgina."
Just when we thought another silence would take over, the door swings open with much force - revealing a happy pink alicorn and an excited looking doctor (judging by the clothes).
Cadence gave me a welcoming smile. "How are you feeling Georgina?"
I smiled back. "Fine thank you." Looking behind her, I noticed that the doctor was giving me a funny look - I don't blame him, he has probably never seen anything like me before.
Something crossed my mind, so to conform my earlier assumptions I needed to ask. "Am I in a hospital of some sort?"
Luna was the first to answer. "Indeed you are. When we arrived earlier today we brought you to the castle's private medical wing. Since then Celestia and Twilight have been out to give an explanation to the citizens, most of Canterlot by now has heard of you but very few has actually seen you. So either later this evening or tomorrow you will have to join my sister in a public speech to prove that you are not a foe, but a friend.
Hmm, seems simple enough. Never been one with speeches though so I hope that I don't have to say much.
I gave Luna an accepted nod. "I am happy to do it later this evening, best to get it over with before false rumours start to spread."
"I am glad to hear it." She then turned to face the doctor behind Cadence - who keep in mind, hasn't even blinked. "Doctor, if you could stop staring at out guest..."
When the doctor realised that he was just staring at me - like his eyes were glued at my direction, he immediately jumped and looked away. I did my best to suppress a giggle, and to make it even funnier I noticed a blush creeping onto his face. Why did these ponies have to be so amusing sometimes?
The now shy doctor faced Luna. "M-My a-a-apologies your maj-jesty." And with that he 'fast walked' away from the room and down the corridor in a very clumsy way- he may or may not have bumped into a few walls and giggling nurses though.
The room stayed silence for half a minute, I couldn't take it anymore so I just unleashed my caged-up laughter. The room echoing with not just mine, but two certain alicorn's laughs
"So, shall we get going?" I ask
Luna (after calming down) turned to face me. "If thou wishes to, then yes."
I nod. "Okay, then leed the way."
Celestia POV
"-and that's why I will personally lock up this creature, because-"
Won't these nobles ever shut up and just stop bickering about 'what if this creature does this and that'? It's starting to make me feel sick at how they would treat a guest...
Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed a guard walked in through one of the side doors in the throne room. He then walked up and whispered something into Twilight's ear but I didn't pay attention for I was 'listening' to the noble's opinion of guest from the description of what I told them.
Note to self: never let the nobles anywhere near Georgina.
"Celestia!"
I turned to face the source of the voice. "Yes Twilight?"
She smiled. "Georgina is awake and perfectly fine. Luna sent a guard to notify us that she will be more than happy to attend the public speech today."
I smiled back. "That is indeed great news Twilight." I turned to face the nobles who were still 'sharing' their opinions with one another. "Attention-" I started, and getting them to stop and face me. "-the court will have to end, we have more important matters to attend to."

9: Rivalries
=============
Beginning of Chapter 9
"Come, you must be hungry. The dining hall is not far."
After introducing herself to the hospital's staff, making new friends and helping out here and there, Luna checked the time and found that is was 16:41. So with a quick goodbye, she led her firran friend out of the hospital wing and down the many long corridors of the Canterlot palace. Cadence had already left before them to speak with someone called 'Shiny', whoever that was.
Georgina obliged Luna's command and followed close behind her. The instant they left the hospital, she found herself in a big, long corridor, decorated with many pillars along the side to create a walkway through the middle - a long red carpet. Stained glass windows were everywhere on the walls, adorned with many colours, giving the already breathtaking looks of the corridor a powerful shine.
Georgina was truly hypnotized from the scene around her, she had never seen or been in a castle (besides ruined ones) like this before. The closest she could compare would be the towers in the City of Towers back home in Mahadevi, but they were still nothing in comparison to this.
Luna paused her march and turned around to find her friend slowing down a bit, wearing a (quite funny) look of awe on her face, jaw hanging open, and ears slightly leaning back against her head while looking up and around her. Not long after did she also notice her tail wagging side to side from excitement no doubt.
It was when Georgina finally caught up did she realise that she probably looked silly, if Luna's giggling wasn't proof then she didn't know what was. Recollecting herself, she looked down at the giggling alicorn. Cheeks slightly red, ears folded sideways, and wearing a sheepish smile.
"I guess that you have not seen a castle before, am I right?" Luna asked.
To make it quick and simple, Georgina shook her head - still wearing her embarrassed look. She was not really bothered to go into details about some of the castles that she had heard in books or explored ruined ones. She was indeed hungry and it would be nice to eat before the day ends.
Luna - satisfied enough with the answer she was given, turned back around and continued her march. This time making sure that her friend stays close behind otherwise she would no doubt get lost in this maze, judging from the answer that Georgina had given her about the lack of castles in her life.
They both turned another corner and they found a large door that separated itself from the many other doors that lined the walls.
"We are here." Luna stated.
With a simple nudge, Luna pushed open the door with her magic and what Georgina found inside would probably be the largest table she had ever seen in her life! A long lined wooden table with about 10 chairs on both sides - also a single chair at each end. The table was in the middle of the room so there would be plenty of space to manoeuvre around.
Plates and a wide variety of different types of cutlery were in front of every chair, along with a row of candles crossing though the middle of the table between every two opposite seats and a Large candle right in the centre.
At the end of the table, Georgina noticed four figures. Three of them were familiar - giving her a welcoming smile, but the fourth one was a new face. Judging from the body and facial features, this one seemed to be a white male unicorn with a two tone blue mane. He was too busy staring and inspecting Georgina's features that when Cadence - who was sat besides him, gave him a nudge and a whisper afterwards, he jumped slightly and started whispering back.
Celestia was sat at the end of the table, with an empty space on her left and Twilight on her right. Cadence sat next to Twilight's right with the white unicorn on Cadence's right.
Luna gestured Georgina to sit down in the empty seat, once sat down Celestia was on her right with Luna on her left and Twilight opposite her. An awkward silence reigned the quite large hall, nothing could be heard apart from a few whispers and coughs.
Celestia took this as her queue. "I am glad to see that you are feeling better Georgina."
She smiled in return. "Thanks for your concern. Now that you mention it I do feel allot better than before."
Cadence also gave Georgina a smile. "That's good to hear." She then noticed a certain white unicorn next to her giving Georgina a funny look - which he has been ever since she got here really. "Ahem" She got the attention of both the firran and the unicorn.
"Georgina I would like you to meet my husband Prince Shining Armor-" Cadence then turned to face her husband. "-Shiny I want you to meet our very special guest, Georgina."
Shining Armor snapped out of his gaze and took a deep breathe. "It is certainly a pleasure to meet you..Georgina. If I may ask, what are you exactly?" He asked, stuttering a little when mentioning her strange name.
Georgina cleared her throat. "Well I'll do my best to summarize. Long story-short we are an evolved species from the cat family known as the Firran. We were originally carnivores a long time ago, but some of us then learned the ways of farming and cooking. This continued on for a while until eventually all firran knew the basics of farming, thus we adapted to an omnivore diet and have been like that ever since."
Shining Armor was caught a little off guard. "I uh...was not expecting an answer that long-" He then smiled. "-but none the less, that was certainly interesting."
"WAIT!" Everyone jumped to Twilight's sudden shouting, she seemed to have a shocked look on her face. "You eat meat? As in...Animals!?"
The room was then suddenly silent, all previous conversations and thoughts were completely gone. Everyone (even Celestia) just stared at the purple alicorn, giving her a deadpanned look.
"Uhh...Twilght-" Georgina started. "-didn't I tell you this stuff before when you asked your questions this morning?"
"Yes bu-" Tracking though her thoughts, Georgina was right, she just realised how stupid she must of sounded when she asked that silly question. Even if she didn't question her back in the library, it was common sense that she was capable of eating meat due to her canines and the fact that she evolved from the feline family.
Realising the mistake that she had just made, Twilight did her best to try and hide herself - which didn't do much considering the fact that she was sat on a chair, while a clearly embarrassed blush was creeping onto her cheeks. "Oh I uh..umm, sorry."
In response, Georgina chuckled at this. "It's alright, just remember to think before you act next time okay?"
Finding the courage to finally look back, Twilight nodded several times with a small genuine smile.
Celestia leaned towards Georgina's ear. "Don't worry if Twilight acts similar in future events ,sometimes she tends to....overreact." She whispered.
Before the firran could reply, the doors in the back of the hall swung open, revealing a small swarm of waiters. Some carrying menus, some had several wine glasses balance on a small tray, and a few brought along a bottle of red or white wine.
Placing a menu and a wineglass in front of everyone, along with the two bottles of red and white wine in the centre. The waiters then left the hall and into the room where they came from - no doubt a kitchen, while a few remained incase anyone needed or requested anything.
Looking down at her menu, Georgina picked up the funny paper and carefully opened it. This was the first time in her entire life that she had ever been in a high-class restaurant (or in this case a dining hall). Surprisingly the writing was similar - but not completely the same as her literature. There was the odd letter or word here and there that she did not understand, but the rest were easy enough to read so she understood what each meal was.
Vegetable salad, tomato soup, daisy delight, apple strudel. Where's the- Georgina then mentally facepalmed herself. How did I forget, they are PONIES, herbivores, they're not going to serve meat here. She then physically sighed. Guess I'll just have to try some veggie food then...although it would be nice if-
"Are you alright Georgina?"
The sudden sound of Luna's voice made the firran in question jump slightly. Snapping out of her thoughts and turning to face Luna to her left. She sighed before asking. "Would you um...-"How do I say this? "-would you have any, uhh..."
Luna caught where she was going with this. "If we have any meals that contains meat?"
Georgina (slightly surprised) just nodded in return. She was doing her best not to offend the ponies around her by not choosing anything from their vegetarian menus.
Luna, noticing her shy response just smiled in return. turning to face one of the waiters in the room. "Could you please get an omnivore menu for our guest?" she asked.
The waiter bowed. "Of course your majesty." Before leaving, Georgina handed him her veggie menu with a "thank you". He then trotted towards the kitchen door and disappeared.
Curious as to know why, the firran faced Luna again with a raised brow. "How come you have an omnivore menu here? Aren't you all herbivores?"
The Night Princess just chuckled in response. "Oh no, it's not for us! We store meat in the royal kitchen's refrigerator for when the griffin ambassadors visit." She paused for a second. "I could not imagine any pony attempting to eat meat in the first place, it would be quite a disturbing scene."
Georgina nodded. "Ah okay, that makes more sense." So they have griffins here too. Cant tell if the similarities between our worlds is due to some magical connection, or it's just a massive coincidence.
A minute later, the same pony from before trotted into the dining hall with a menu, but unlike the others, this menu was orange instead of white. He handed (hoofed?) it to Georgina and waited by her side for her choice.
Ahh, now we're talking... She thought with a smirk. In case you haven't noticed yet, our firran friend here does love her meat (I know what you're thinking, so don't get any funny ideas). It's like candy to her, but at the same time it's also healthy for you.
Hydra steak? Never heard that before... She then paused to decide what she'll have. In fact, let's try something new...
"Have you decided miss?"
Georgina turned to face the waiter, she held up the menu in front of him and pointed. "I'll have the hydra steak please." She then handed it back to the waiter - who accepted it in return, nodded and went back to the kitchen.
She then turned back to face her friends. "Are you sure that all of you will be fine if I have an omnivore meal?" She asked with a hint of concern.
They all either nodded, replied with a "yup", "yeah" or "of course". Celestia decided to add an explanation. "Georgina, as much as I appreciate your concern for offending us, you are trying to hard. We have meals with the griffin ambassadors - sometimes the griffin king before, and they always choose the carnivore menu. So you having a hydra steak is nothing in comparison my dear."
"Besides-" Luna added. "-they eat like starving dogs, so they always make a mess of things when it comes to meals." She finished which caused some others to giggle.
Georgina had finally relaxed thanks to their reassured statements. "Yeah I guess I am overreacting a little." Then something popped into her mind. "Hey, what do the griffins look-"
"Auntie!"
Auntie? Wha-
Suddenly, the main entrance to the dining hall bursted open with much force, revealing two silhouettes on the other side. Both (judging by their clothes) were high-class individuals, perhaps they were the 'nobles' that the princesses spoke of earlier. The one on the left was a tale coloured unicorn with a white mane and posh clothes. The one next to him however was also a unicorn, he had a white coat with a blonde mane and he also obtained some posh looking clothing.
She didn't know why, but something about this particular unicorn made Georgina's blood boil. She wasn't one for pre-judging someone else before knowing them, so she just ignored the feeling and kept a neutral look.
The posh looking white unicorn trotted a few steps forward before staring at Celestia. "Auntie, me and Skitty Price need bits, we are going-" He stopped mid sentence when he noticed Georgina, a clear frown appeared on his face. "Auntie! Why is there a filthy cat-monkey at the table!?"
Not a second later, Georgina's expression instantly changed from it's neutral look to one of shocked and anger. Her ears perked up, eyes now glaring back with their on intensity - daring him to even have the nerve to call her that again.
What did he just call me!?
"Blueblood!-" Luna snapped "-that is not how we treat our guest! Apologize immediately!"
Blueblood did nothing though, he just kept silent, eventually turning away with an audible "hmph" - flicking his head sideways up in the air with his eyes closed.
This did nothing to help cease the firran's growing rage though. Breathing through her nose more heavily, heartbeat rate increasing by the second, the rage inside her was begging to be released and just strangle the snob.
While Luna, Cadence and Shining just gave him a death glare for his rudeness, Celestia (also annoyed mind you) just sighed and levitated a small bit bag towards him. Hoping for him to just leave and make it up for her offended guest.
The snob didn't even say thank you or show any signs of it. He immediately grabbed the bag with his own magic and trotted back to the door - closing it behind him.
A few seconds later, Luna turned to face Celestia with an annoyed expression. "Sister! Why did you give him what he wished for!?"
After thinking to herself, Celestia raised her head and faced her sister. "As much as I wanted to also punish him for his rudeness, it only would of escalated and-" She turned to face a pissed off firran. "-no doubt our friend here doesn't want to cause trouble."
Everyone else in the room also turned to face the firran. If the name calling that Blueblood did to her wasn't clear enough that she was annoyed, then her red face, heavy breathing, perked up ears, and just her all out angry look on her face is certainly enough proof.
Everyone thought that it would be best to just stay silent and wait for Georgina to calm down. Finally after three long silent minutes Georgina closed her eyes, hung her head low and took one last heavy breathe.
Afterwards she reopened her eyes and looked back up and the ponies around her. "I can take insults about ME easily, but if ANYONE ever insults anything about my kind, then I won't take them so lightly next time, no title or reputation will matter. They hurt me, I'll hurt them."
Everyone was certainly shocked for her choice of words. Surprisingly Shining was the first to respond. "I understand, I can see that honour is important to you and that you treat everypony as equals correct?"
She replied with a firm nod and a smile, impressed by the fact that this unicorn knows much about honour just as she does. Georgina was about to ask something else when out of nowhere a specific rumble echoed the room.
She looked down at her stomach and chuckled sheepishly - a slight embarrassed blush creeping onto her face. Everyone else just joined in on the laughter, all glad that they got rid of all tensions in the room and now can have a good laugh.
The kitchen doors opened and a herd of chefs and waiters stormed the room, each carrying everyone's ordered meals and placing it down in front of them.
When Georgina's meal was carefully placed in front of her, an interesting and delicious scent entered her nostrils. Closing her eyes, she took one sniff - imagining what this meal in front of her tasted like before eating it herself.
This is going to be good...
