Welcome to 'All Those Wubs In My Life'
It's another side-story and deeply connected to my OctaScratch and SpitDash.
After some of you asked who Sassaflash is, I decided to write this little project.
I will add a quick note to every chapter if it's related to any of my stories.
For now, have fun and join Sassaflash in her awesome, exciting life

Prologue
My slumber was disturbed by soft rays of sunlight, burning into my closed eyes. I tried to keep them closed and to just relax a few more minutes, but to no use. Groaning, I slowly opened my eyes and tried to gather my surroundings. Blinking the sleep away, I found the source of my misery shining brightly through the unblinded window.
Great, I forgot to shut the blinds again.
I rose from my bed to my hooves and went to the mirror at my closet. A thin pegasus with a good shaped body looked back at me, the coat shimmering in a soft turquoise as I smiled, the mare in the mirror immediately returning it. I was proud of my body, it was shaped after years of training and my coat was a rare color.
Inspecting myself, I decided I would need a shower. Today was an important day, and I had to look good.
The last day of this semester. I just hope that I'll survive the results.
I left my room quickly and went to the bathroom, jumping under the shower. Turning the valve, the cold water started to rain down on me, waking up my mind and body. After a small while, I started to shiver and turned the valve to red, enjoying the warm feeling on my coat that followed. I’d usually stay for more than just a few minutes under the shower, but today I couldn’t; the last day of the semester was an important day. Besides that, mom and dad wanted the results of this semester.
I hesitated for a moment, but turned off the shower after a short moment of enjoying the heat and picked up a towel with my wing to dry off. Just as I finished drying, the call of my mother reached my ears.
“Are you awake, Sassaflash? Breakfast is ready and you have to go in around half an hour, my dear.”
“I’ll be down in a minute, mom!” I yelled before reaching for the brush at the sink, brushing my mane and tail until I was satisfied.
I couldn't waste any more time, so I left the bathroom and headed along the corridor and down the stairs towards the kitchen. My mother was carrying a frying pan in her muzzle, just unloading some pancakes on a plate on the kitchen table. My father was reading his newspaper, as usual.
My family was really quite strange. My father, a tall brown pegasus with a red mane, and my mother, a small but strong earth pony with a yellow coat and green mane. Sometimes I asked myself why I became a pegasus like my father instead of an earth pony like my mother, but I was happy regardless. Being a pegasus had some advantages, considering that wings could be used for much more things than hooves.
My father looked at me and placed his newspaper down while I sat at the table, “Today is the last day,” It was a simple statement and no question, “I hope you'll bring good results with you.”
I nodded eagerly.
Just play along and show approval. It's not a good idea to argue with him in the morning...
He looked satisfied and went back to his newspaper. My mother then started loading syrup on a stack of pancakes in front of me. With a smile from her, I began to eat, enjoying the delicious taste. While I was a bit disappointed to still live with my parents, it had a lot of advantages.
Mom liked to clean and make food while father helped me with the school stuff. He was working at the weather factory and was able to help me with all the parts of studying to become a weather engineer.
It wasn't the job I dreamed of, but my parents were paying for the school, so I just did it. I already had my cutie mark -- two bright, shining, yellow lightning bolts -- but my parents insisted that I was born for something else. I had other plans after the third semester, but it wasn't in my mind to tell my parents about it. After the study, I would just leave.
I ate the last bit of pancakes and found myself quite stuffed. I went upstairs quickly to brush my teeth and grab my saddle bags, leaving the house soon after. My path lead me through the whole inner city. It wasn't really a shortcut, but the cheerful mare I met on the way was worth it.
“Hey Cloudy, what's up?” I asked, nudging her side with my wing.
“Ah!” Cloud Kicker jumped up and glared daggers at me before her expression softened, “Oh, it's you, Sassa. I should've known. Nothing, really. I'm tired, but at least it's the last day and then we have five free weeks to plan. I can't wait!”
I smiled, knowing that she was probably partying too hard again, “Yeah, finally we’ll actually be free of studying! Anything planned for the free time?”
She grinned and nodded, reaching a wing in her saddlebag before pulling out a small, colorful piece of paper, “Here!” she said as she gave it to me, “That's your ticket for the party tomorrow. We'll celebrate the end of the first semester! Everypony will come, even a DJ!”
Looking at the paper, I couldn't wait for tomorrow. It was a rare circumstance that I went to a club, but I enjoyed it more than most other activities, so a party would be awesome.
I had no idea what this would do to my future.
