Friends Forever...

A lone pony strolls around the lanes of Canterlot, gazing at the sights that he is use to, seems like this pony is out for an old fashion walk. Who is this pony though?

His name is Decora, not to tall, black coated, green maned stallion, cutie mark seeming to represent the cheers of friendship and a green cape, similar to trixie’s. You could almost say he took it from her and recolored it because of how similar it was. But now then, why was this what seem like a usual unicorn doing in canterlot.

Well, this pony happened to be one of the rare students Princess Celestia took under wing to learn all the wonders and secrets of magic and friendship. And from the looks of it, it seemed like he was doing a pretty good job, and from the looks of it he was heading back towards the castle, probably for his next lesson.

Upon arrival at the castle, entering the royal halls and soon the royal library, he stumbled a friend of his, the name of this fair unicorn, Laughing Lyric.

“Oh Decora! You’re back already?” Laughing asked

“Yeah, just decided to see if anything new was going on in Canterlot, which, i don't know if good or bad but everything is just about the same.” Decora said

“Oh, well maybe you can do something to entertain yourself here.” Laughing Said Smiling

“Any ideas?” Decora Said

“Oh, well….umm. Why Not uh…” Laughing stuttered

“Let me guess, read books?” Decora Asked

Laughing cringed a bit, but nods

“Well, i guess there isn’t really much else to do, since Celestia hasn’t called me yet” Decora said

“I thought you were done with all her lessons” Laughing wondered

“The day i finish all her lessons is the day i become an alicorn” Decora said, chuckling

“Hehe” Laughing chuckled

“Well, i guess ill see what new spells or sort i can learn. Till later Laughing” Decora Said

“Bye Decora!” Laughing excitingly expressed

Decora leaves the room Laughing was in and head towards the library. This young pony, though being very adventurous and observant of his surroundings, did like to learn new things and enhance his magical capabilities.

One time he found a book that told of spells that were far out his level, but out of his curiosity tried to cast it anyway, and almost exhausted himself.

Upon arriving at the library, he started his searched, looking over books that either didn't interest him or that he thought he read already.

“Come on. There’s gotta be something i can read, anything interesting” Decora Said

After a few minutes of searching, and nearly giving up, he finally found an interesting spellbook.

Curious, he took it from the bookshelf and started reading, but what he was reading, wasn’t a spellbook.

Turns out the spellbook was a coverup, but in turn, he was reading off weird contraptions, types of items that shouldn’t exist in equestra.

Items that could leave a pony invulnerable, items that could set anything on fire, these items surprisingly didn’t scare Decora, but rather built his curiosity more.

If such items exist, how come Celestia hasn’t said anything to him about it? In fact, how come in the time he has been her student, that not one word of such items has been told to him about, but looking at the condition of this book, they have been around for a while.

After this, he went off to see Celestia, now filled with questions after reading this book. Do these items exist? How did they come to be? Can normal ponies control such weapons? More and more questions filling his mind, and the only one that could answer them was the princess herself.

After reaching the throne room, Celestia turned and greeted him

“Why Hello Decora, my dear student. What Brings you here? I dont have any lessons for you currently.” Celestia Stated

“Well Princess Celestia, I come to you with a ton of questions concerning a certain…..book i found in the library.” Decora Said

Celestia Looked at Decora

“I knew eventually you’d find that book. I guess it is finally time now.” Celestia Said

“Time? Time for what? What are you talking about?” Decora Asked

“Im sure you’ve figured out that what you’ve read has been around for a long time now right?” Celestia Said

Decora nods

“Well, a few years ago, around the time we were going to save the crystal empire from Sombra’s reign”

Celestia And Luna Are currently on route to the crystal empire

“How close are you two” Lauren Asked

“Not to far mother. We have the crystal empire in site” Celestia Said

“Please hurry. He cannot Last long” Lauren said

“Sister, Who is this pony mother keeps on mentioning?” Luna Asked

“I do not know sis, but whoever it is must be important. So lets speed it up” Celestia Said

“Right” Luna nodded as they flew faster towards the Crystal Empire

Upon arrival, they were greeted by a sight they weren’t expecting. From the info Lauren gave to them, it was told that during the ‘revolution’ of the crystal empire, a single pony went to confront Sombra after the terrible things he was forced to do. It was also told that he was losing the fight, and require the princesses help ASAP. However, what the princess saw, was completely different.

They saw Sombra, yes, but he was holding a pony with his magic, a pegasus that seemed rather exhausted, beaten down. Across from those two, was another pony, a unicorn trying to hold his own. What they witness next, was not expected.

Sombra opened a portal, and tossed the pegasus into it, before sealing it away. The unicorn that witness this was shocked by Sombra’s actions, but then started to attack. Surprisingly, Sombra was having a hard time, the two almost seemed equal in strength and power, but then Sombra got the upper hand and struck this unicorn down. However, it was enough time for the princesses to get a surprise attack on Sombra, and finish him off.

“It is done” Luna Said

“Yes, the crystal empire will take time to rebuild, but it has been freed” Celestia Said

“But what about him” Luna said, pointing at the unicorn

“Take him back to canterlot and care for him, make sure he heals from his wounds” Celestia said

“Right, and you?” Luna Asked

“Something about that portal we saw didn’t seem right. Im going to make sure everything is ok before returning” Celestia said

“Ok. Please Be careful Sister” Luna said, picking up the mysterious unicorn before flying away

“That’s how you said you found me” Decora Said

“Yes. You seem my young student, Equestria has been getting hit with threats unlike we are starting to see. So i took it upon myself and the kingdom to seek help. It was the help i found that definitely helped, but also hurt Equestria” Celestia said

“What do you mean?” Decora Asked

“I stumbled upon another world, a world full of mercenaries, it almost seemed like their purpose was to fight, fight, fight. Non-stop till they couldn’t go on, even then keep going. However, one group of these mercenaries seemed...different. Almost peaceful” Celestia Said

“I went to them, conversed with them, and were able to gain an ally in case equestria were in danger. I even offered them to stay with us, but as for where they are in the land now, is beyond me.” Celestia Said

“And these ponies-”

“Humans Decora” Celestia Said

“HUMANS!? D-DID YOU JUST SAY-”

“Yes, i kid you not. They were humans. And the devices you saw in that book, were the weapons they used to defend themselves if they ever were attacked by their enemies” Celestia said

Decora Shivered from the thought, but then another crossed his mind “Wait, if they are our ally now, doesn't that mean that their enemies are now-”

“Our enemies” Celestia said

Decora Gulped. A whole other of which he doesn’t even know, and now he has to worry about the possibility of being attack by a force beyond him.

“If you want anymore answers. You will have to find each of them listed in that book. Im sure you are still full of questions, and curious as to more of that world.” Celestia said

Decora couldn’t help but nod. Of course he wanted to know more, i mean, another world meant more challenges, more sites, more everything! It was gnawing at him and wouldn't stop

“Then go my student. With the magic i've already taught you, you’ll be strong enough to face any challenges you find. Im sure” Celestia Said

“Thank you Princess” Decora Said before leaving

While walking down the hallway, many things were popping up in his head. A new world. More allies but also more dangers. New tactics and skills. Seems that book he found wasn’t just a myth.

“Well, time to see just how much of a reality this is” Decora said to himself
