terraria: twilights quest

Twilight looks out of the door, it's dawn. All the zombies look up and realize it's dawn they all scurry to the caves from where they came. night has ended finally. Twilight and Zeno breathe some fresh air with some tension relieved as no more zombie's prowl the terrain... For now.

"So twilight you should head either direction and get some starting gear. The wood armour is not enough and that sword is only good for bashing a slimes"

" Where do i get these items Zeno?"

"Little caves above ground so no enemies but still be careful, and keep an eye out for one little pink slime. He can drop a gold coin which can attract a merchant if you build a house and hold onto it until morning."

"Will do Zeno! and i kill the pink slime right?"

"Yeah, and check the... wait one second."

"What?" she stops running and falls flat on her face. "ouch" Zeno releases a little chuckle.

"What class you wanna take, mage, summoner, warrior, ranger?" something about mage catches twilights mind.

"Whats a a mage do, it's like magic right?"

"Yeah you use books rods and even musical instruments to send usually a magical projectile towards an enemy."

"Well i can use magic normally watch this!" she begins to levitate a sword and then starts to charge up her horn. she create a projectile like spike of magic but it disappears. "Wha! What happened i used to be able to make that all the time!"

"Well you see this land allows only its magic to be used but in this case you can levitate things because you are not a humanoid. simply put it wants you to use its magic and only a sliver of yours. also why you can't fly even though you have wings."

"So i can levitate things but can't use my magic to fight things and can't use my wings even though i can once i get wings... That's kinda illogical really."

"Exactly now as  i was gonna say before i stopped you completely check the book shelfs in the first pert of the dungeon and DO NOT i repeat DO NOT GO IN TOO DEAP! now quickly head of either ways. and loot each chest you see."

"Okay thanks for more information Zeno ill be back by sunset if I'm not able to what should i do?"

"Dig a hole 4 by 2 and patch up the roof. It'll camouflage you from the zombies so yeah but you shouldn't have to do that if you get a light blue potion called a recall potion just use it and you will appear in the house back here."

"Okay will do see ya later!" she says as she runs off into the distance. Twilight runs for quite a while and finally finds her first chest. She rummages through unlit torches and rope she finds an yellow potion. she looks at the label on it Iron Skin is scribbled on it. " Whats an iron skin potion? Guess i'll ask Zeno later." She rummages until she finds an aglet she equips it like Zeno said so that she can move quicker. quicker equals more time to search for chests and dungeon. She walks more until another Chest is found. This chest only holds torches glow sticks and more rope but  just like Zeno said a light blue potion with the lable reading: Recall Potion. " Great this will teleport me home if Zeno was correct." twilight walks over to a mountain she slow climbs up to the top using the rope she had found earlier. she finally gets to the top of the mountain, which nothing but a great view over most of terraria. she pauses walking and takes it all in with a deep breath. "this is a beautiful view" she says to herself. she settle down to take a break.

after the break to take in the mouton view she starts moving down the mountain. she accidentally slips and falls and quite a bit of health is lost  another magic like screen appears showing her magic and health she has 20 health left. "Oh no this is bad!" She looks towards her back leg its sprained. blood is coming out from where her leg fell on a rock. Twilight quickly rummages through her sack and grabs a red potion labeled, Lesser Healing Potion. Twilight makes no hesitation and quickly drinks it hoping that it will heal her leg. it suddenly stops gushing blood and the cut and sprain are gone. Her jaw drops and she looks on in disbelief as her leg is perfectly fine now. She remembers Zeno's words from last night "twilight, you have no idea how much magic there is in this land."

She moves on to find a dessert, its the middle of the day and she falls in a hole but lands and is not hurt. A dark pyramid unexplored awaits... "Is this the dungeon? It can't be! she goes deeper in to pyramid. Stacks of copper and silver coins with a gold chest in the middle of them await. Twilight  opens the chest to find some kind of bottle... She sees a chain and attaches it to one of her accessory slots. suddenly a screen appears saying "you can now double jump due to a sand storm in a bottle." Twilight looks at the hole she fell through and jumps but can't get out... "So if i do this" She jumps and then jumps with sand storm appear under her propelling her out of the hole. She looks at what she just did and then looks past the dessert and sees the dungeon she starts of towards it again.

As she arrives she wonders why check the book shelve but an old man stops her. "hello"

"you are not strong enough come back when you are stronger..."

"okay?" She hesitantly walks past the old man. she notices he is wearing a red and torn sweater, he smells bad too... Twilight looks around and there is a book shelf, a certain red book catches her eye. As she pulls it of the shelf she slips and drops the book and it opens and a weird form of water appears. She looks at it and touches the book and it sends the bolt in the direction she is facing. She follows to see what it will do and it goes out side. its dark and a zombie startles her and she stops mid strife. The zombie is suddenly bounced back when the water formation touches it. Another zombie drops down and grabs her hind leg starting to tear it apart. with a sudden shock of adrenalin she bounces back and kicks it off and scrambles to get the recall potion. She grabs the water bolt instead and uses it to get more time. The zombie starts getting knocked back and agitated it calls its friend to help. Twilight finally grabs the potion and drinks it teleporting her back to her house...

"TWILIGHT! dear god what happened?"

"i'm fine i just need a healing potion"

"of course, uh here!" He hands twilight the potion and she quickly gulps it down. " I thought you were dead"

"Nothing but a close encounter with the zombies... that's... all" she lets out a loud sigh. "So i got enough gold for a merchant?" she throws the sacks of coin she found from the desert pyramid.

"Thats more than enough. but where'd you get that much?"

"dungeon in the desert"

"pyramid actually... didn't know that this world had one."

"Right just lets get some rest and I'm gonna build the merchants house tomorrow ok?" twilight says agitated.

"Of course and ill tell you some more use full tips tomorrow"

"right, good night..." she said before she dosed of to sleep.
