"So this is it," Rairty said looking at the portal in front of them.
"Yes, or at least I think so," Twilight said staring down at the map she levitated with her magic.
"So, are you waiting for an invite or what?" Rainbow said.
"Wouldn't y'all need r' plan?" Applejack said.
"Oh right," Twilight said, "Any ideas?"
Fluttershy raised her hoof and said, "We could ....meet our batselfs and report the difference between them and us."
"Fluttershy!" Twilight said cheerfully, "You're a genius!"
"Hello!" Pinkie said waving her hoof like crazy, "Can we go in pairs? I mean really it be more fun!"
"And it be good if one of us got into trouble," Rairty added.
"That's really a great idea," Twilight started, "Any requests?"
"I call Flutters!" Rainbow said.
"Oh fine," Rairty said, "Then I with Pinkie Pie."
"Then I guess Ima' with ya twilight," Applejack said.
"Then are we ready?" Twilight said.
"Well duh!" Rainbow said.
"Then let's go!"

"So do ya think that's Sweet Apple Acres?" Applejack said pointing to the sign that said Juicy Apple Acres.

"I'd think so," Twilight Sparkle said.

"Then yer bet that bat meh is here?"

"As long as bat you works on a dead farm, but that's very unlikely considering that the barns broken down, the trees have second to no leaves, and the ground here is as dry as a dessert."

"Well it's worth a shot, isn' it?"

"I suppose so."

"Then let's go!"

"We should go to the boutique first!" Rairty argued with Pinkie Pie.

"Nota we should go the the rock farm over there!" Pinkie pointed out pointing her hoof at the farm that had a gray-pink pony working on it's field.

"Pinkie!" Rairty exclaimed, "You just found bat you!"

"Well then can we go do that thing now?"

"If you mean get research then we may,"

"Why is this p-place s-s-so..... scary?" Fluttershy whisper stuttered.

"It's not scary it night here," Rainbow Dash said, "I think."

"Then what's that!" Fluttershy screamed as purple-gray pony almost crashed on top of them. *Crash!* The strange figure flew right into Rainbow Dash.

"Yeah!" Rainbow said, " Watch where you fly!"

"I'm sorry!" The figure now clear to be a bat pony cried out.

Fluttershy held out her hoof to the bat pony.

"Don't hurt me!" Now this just echoed in the night like sky, "Please."

"We won't hurt you, right Rainbow?"

"Fine," Rainbow said rolling her eyes, "Just tell us what you name is and why you think we're gonna hurt ya?"

"Don't you already know my name?"

"No," Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy said in sync.

The bat pony looked up, "Oh! You aren't who I thought you. And my name's Twilight"

"Twilight? As in Twilight Sparkle?"

"Yes."

"So why do you think we're going to hurt you?"

"Well, ok I'll tell you...."

"You have to make it rain Rainbow!" Bat Twilight said.

"No Twilight I won't make it rain!" Bat Rainbow said.

"Unless you'd like to starve to death, Make It Rain!"

"Are you deaf? I said No!" With that Bat Rainbow Dash bucked Bat Twilight causing her to fall.

"That's awful!" Fluttershy said.

"Why that no good other me!"

"So Twilight, do yer get a bad feelin' here?" Applejack said.

"Well yes.." Twilight said trailing off in her mind. After a brief silence, there was a rattle of branches from above.

"What was that?" Twilight said a little more quiet then usual.

"A dead tree," Applejack said trying to hide her sarcasm.

"Oh," Twilight said sheepishly, "Sorry."

"That pony should be scared for her life," A voice from above that sounded like Applejack's voice without the southern accent.

"Who are ya!"

"Nopony you need to know until I'm done with your little friend."

"Show yourself!" Twilight shouted, she was now shaking like crazy.

"Ok, I'll show myself. Just be ready for a cat nap."

"What do ya mean by 'Cat Nap'?"

"You'll find out in just a sec."
