The Awoken Demon Dragon

It was night time in Canterlot, the stars were gazing beautifully in the sky. Sunset Shimmer is looking through her telescope and gazing upon the stars. Her studying was interrupted by her caring mentor, Princess Celestia, who came to check on her student. “Hello, Sunset Shimmer,” the princess greeted her student.

“Princess,” Sunset replied cheerfully.

“How is my faithful student doing?”

“Oh, just studying the stars, your majesty. There are always so many amazing things to discover in space.”

Princess Celestia giggles and spoke, “Oh yes there is, my student. About how space is created and every planet are still undiscovered. One day, we can travel through space and study so many planets.”

“I sure hope so.” Then, she yawned.

“Perhaps, you should take some rest. We have an exciting teaching tomorrow. Good night, Sunset Shimmer.” Then, she leaves Sunset alone.

“Good night, Celestia.” She packs up her telescope and began heading off to sleep. Then suddenly, a meteor shower occurs across the sky. She manages to turn around and spotted the spectacular meteor. “Wow, that’s amazing.”

BANG!!!

She turns around and seeks the noise. She didn't know what occurs that sound. When she turned, a dark and the white stripe alicorn: with red colored eyes, black and light gray color tail, black spike mane, and two red glowing spots on his shoulders appear before her.

Sunset Shimmer has awoken, all horrifying from the strange dream. She was breathing hard and was confused about the nightmare. What was the meteor shower and the strange noise was about? Who was that dark alicorn? She doesn't understand the main idea of her dream. However, she does know one pony who can help her, Twilight Sparkle. She decided to return to Ponyville and seek the princess of friendship aid. Finally, she went back to sleep, hoping her nightmare won’t happen again.

It's morning in Ponyville, Twilight was in her treehouse, reading through her books as usual. Spike enters the room and greeted his sister, “Ha, Twilight! What’s ya reading?”

“Oh, just another study about Starswirl the Bearded,” she responded.

Spike leans forward and examines the book. “Didn't ya read this book already?”

“Yeah, but I like reading everything about his studies. He had learned so many discoveries about spells and space. I wish I could learn something more interesting about what goes on in or from space.”

Suddenly, some pony knocked at the door. “I’ll get it.” When he opened the door, Twilight could hear him talking to someone. “Oh, haven’t seen you for a while.” He pauses for a while before calling his sister, ”Twilight! It’s for you!”

She got up and trotted toward the door and meets her old friend, Sunset Shimmer. “Sunset, what brings you around here?!”

Sunset Shimmer was nervous and respond, “I need your help.”

“What do you need, Sunset?”

“I had a strange dream last night. It was about me examining the stars during night time at the castle. Right before I was going to sleep, I saw a meteor shower in the sky and suddenly I heard an explosion.”

Twilight was surprised when she mentioned a meteor shower occurred at Canterlot. “I think I know what you’re talking about.”

“You do?!”

“Yeah.” She picks up one of Starswirl the Bearded books from the shelf and began searching through the pages. Finally, she had found the page about the crashing meteor. She read the text, “During my recent studies, I believe this crash meteor may have come from another planet, or perhaps another dimension. I tried every tool and spells to open the meteor, but at last, I could never break through the surface. I've decided to abandon on my studies of the mysterious structure, located in the Everfree Forest. I believe whatever causing the meteor not to break open, it is protecting something very valuable inside or someone.”

“I think there’s something inside of the meteor.” Sunset Shimmer interrupted.

“You do?! Wait, how do you know if there’s something in there?”

Twilight can see the fear in her friend's eyes. “I wasn't finished telling you about my nightmare. In the end, I was about to leave the castle, until a strange alicorn appear before I wake up.”

“Was it Princess Celestia?”

“No.”

“Princess Luna?” Sunset shook her head. “Princess Cadance?” She shook again. “Me?” She shook again. Twilight was confused. She resumed, “Then, who is it?”

“I don’t know who he was?”

“He?”

“Yeah. It was a stallion alicorn. He has black and white stripes, dark gray mane, black and gray tail, and red colored eyes.”

“You think he got something to do with the meteor?”

“I believe so. What else did I have this colt in my dream last night?”

The princess was thinking for a while. Finally, she answered, “I believe you’re right.”

“What’re we going to do?”

“It’s simple. We’re going to the Everfree Forest and examine the meteor, before whatever inside of it burst free.”

“When are we leaving?”

“As soon as possible, but we’re going need backup just in case if it gets more dangerous along the way.” She turns to the little dragon. “Spike, I want you to send letters to Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash about what’s going on.”

He salute and respond, “You got it, Twilight!”

She turned to the unicorn. “Just let me pack some tools and we can head out.”

“Alright, Twilight.”

After Twilight and Sunset arrive at the Everfree Forest, they were both waiting for the others to arrive. The alicorn notice that her friend is a bet terrorize. She asks her, “Sunset, are you alright?”

“Twilight… I’m afraid,” she told her all scared. ”What happens when we arrive at the meteor that whatever inside it finally bust out and attack us?! I don’t want anything to happen to you or your friends.”

“I don’t know. I can tell you this. If we stand together against whatever lies inside of that meteor, then we can overcome anything. Are you with me?”

She pauses for a while and respond with a smile, “I am.”

Suddenly, Pinkie Pie slides in, wrap both hoofs around them and said cheerfully, “Me too!” Her face turns excited to confuse. “Wait, what are we talking about?”

Twilight smile when her random friend appears and cheered, “Pinkie Pie!!”

“Howdy, Twi,” Applejack greeted as she and the others arrive. “Howdy, Sunset!”

“Applejack! Fluttershy! Rarity! Rainbow Dash! It’s great to see you girls.”

“Yo, Twilight! What’s going on and why is Sunset Shimmer doing here,” Rainbow Dash asked.

“No time to explain, Rainbow Dash. We have to go to the Everfree Forest and seek a crash meteor.”

“What crash meteor, darling,” Rarity confused.

“Sunset dreams up a strange being she had encountered. We believe this creature got something to do with the crash meteor. If we don’t find it now, then it could be the end of Equestria.”

“Oh, that sounds horrible,” Fluttershy scared.

Rainbow Dash leans toward her and brags, “Don’t worry, Fluttershy! There’s nothing that can beat, the one and only, Rainbow Dash and her best friends! If it’s a dragon, giant dinosaur, robots, or sicko super-villain, then they’ll going down!”

“That’s the spirit, Dashie,” Pinkie Pie agrees with joy.

“A bit too much confidence,” Sunset chuckles at the brave pegasus.

“Ha, I can handle anything,” the rainbow pony brags again.

“Alright,” Twilight told them. “Now who's ready to find the meteor and stop whoever lies beyond the Everfree Forest?”

“I’m in,” Rainbow Dash shouted.

“YAYA,” Pinkie Pie shouted.

“Same here, panther,” Applejack nodded.

“Here here,” Rarity agrees.

“Yay,” Fluttershy whispered with joy.

“I’m always with you, Twilight,” Spike nodded.

“I’m with you too,” Sunset Shimmer response by her best friend side.

“Now, let's go girls,” Twilight told them as they all rushes to the forest, seeking the mysterious meteor.
