At the Canterlot castle, a red earth pony guard was patrolling through the walkway, with a spear in his hoof. Until, a green unicorn pops in from behind, which startle the guard. He regains focus and spoke, “Loony, what are you doing here? You know they don’t allow me to bring visitors to the castle during duties.”

“I know,” whined Loony. “I was bored at home, I got no one to hang out with. Plus, I destroy your guitar.”

“YOU DESTROY MY GUITAR!!”

“Nooooooooo,” the unicorn lied. “So… how was your day?”

“Get out of here before you get me fired, or worse arrested… again.”

“Wow. Once you steal a cupcake and fame your best friend, you’re scarred for life.”

Then, the guard pushes her best friend while speaking, “Now leave!! Before someone pops in out of nowhere and catch me breaking the rule.”

“Oh come on Sword Light. You really believe someone will jump in out of no-”

Then, he was cut off from a teleportation occurring between their argument, causing them to scram. It was Twilight and the others teleported to the castle. Both of the colts were surprised by Twilight appearance. The guard was speechless and cried, “Pri… Pri… Pri… PRINCESS TWILIGHT SPARKLE!!!” Sword Light kneel before her. However, his best friend didn't bow to her, making Sword Light to drag him down to a kneeling position.

“I’m sorry,” Twilight respond. “I've to be with the other princesses. Do you know where they are?”

“Oh, they’re in the throne room. I cou-” He was then ran over by Twilight and others, as they hurry toward the princesses. Then, he got back up with a dazed look on his face.

His friend lean toward his ran over friend and said, “So… how was your day?”

Afterward, Twilight and the others manage to reach the throne room. As they've entered, they only found Princess Cadance by herself, but where are Princess Celestia and Princess Luna? Princess Cadance was surprised to see her step sister. “Twilight,” she spoke with a confuse look. “What are you doing here?”

Twilight was confused, because she doesn't believe Cadance doesn't know what happen to her husband. Twilight spoke, “Cadance, what do you mean what I’m doing here? I’m here because Shining Armor is missing.”

She was shook. “What!! What do you mean he’s missing?”

Sunset cut in, “What are you talking about, your highness? You sent Twilight a letter about him being missing.”

“I didn't send Twilight anything.”

Twilight is still puzzling. “Then, who send the letters?”

Applejack spoke up, “Maybe Princess Celestia.”

Rarity look around and said, “But where is she?”

Pinkie Pie dashes through the room and shouted, “Maybe she’s playing hide and go seek! I’m gonna find her first!” She skips around the castle, hoping to find Celestia.

They ignore her childish game. Cadance said, “She went to a meeting with Princess Luna. I don’t know when she’s coming back of where the meeting is held at.”

“Did she mention what the meeting is about,” Fluttershy ask.

“I’m afraid not. She told me that I’m in charge of the castle while she’s at the meeting, but I haven’t seen any guards around here.”

Twilight spoke up, “When we got here, we only spotted one guard.”

Rainbow Dash cut in, “Which I think he’s not doing a good job.”

Sunset ignore her opinion and think up a question. Why did Princess Celestia send the letter to Twilight with Princess Cadance name? She spoke with a serious tone, “Guys, I think Princess Celestia didn't sent that letter.”

Applejack said, “Then who send the-” Suddenly, a scream occurs in the castle. “That must be Pinkie Pie. Come on!!” All of them rushes to Pinkie Pie aid.

They stop in the hallway, where the scream occurs, but no sign of Pinkie Pie. Then, the guard and his friend enter the hallway and shouted, “Your highnesses, are you’ll alright, I heard screaming?!”

The unicorn cuts in, “Uhmm. Don’t you mean weeee heard screaming?”

Sword Light look back at the others and he gab, “HE”S NOT WITH ME!!”

Twilight said, “We’re fine.”

Pinkie Pie was at the other end of the hallway and shouted, “GUYS!! YOU'LL NEED TO COME OVER QUICKLY!!” Then, she dashes to the left hall.

When they finally made it to Pinkie Pie position, Shining Armor appear on the ground unconscious, with scratches and wounds around his body. They were all horrified of his dreaded appearance. “SHINING ARMOR,” Princess Cadance cried while she’s rushing toward her husband aid. She was trying to wake him, but no response. “He isn't breathing!!”

Sword Light rushes toward his commander and said, “Don’t worry I got him.” He was pushing hard on his chest a couple of times till he gain consciousness. He was gaining no response from him. “Nothing is working!”

“Give him mouth-to-mouth, buddy,” his friend shouted. Then, he whispers to the others, “Does anyone got a camera?”

The guard whined, until Twilight steps in, “I got him; he’s my brother.” The guard tilt the victim's head back for Twilight. Twilight then push her mouth against her brother and breathe in couple of times. Finally, he gains consciousness.

They’ll were complete relief after Shining Armor is alive. Princess Cadance hug him and started to cry over his shoulder. “Shining,” cried Cadance, “I’m so happy you’re alright!!” He hugs his wife back.

Rainbow Dash tells the guard, “Help me carry him toward the throne room.” Sword Light nodded and assist his injure commander to safety.

As they were heading toward the throne room, Twilight was thinking about the whole situation. Who fought Shining Armor and hide him? What happen to all of the guards? Where could Princess Celestia and Princess Luna be?

They finally made it to the throne room, then they gentle place Shining Armor on the throne. Princess Cadance loving told her husband, “It’s alright, Shining. You’re gonna be alright.”

Spike spoke, “Shining Armor, what happen to you?”

“I give up,” Loony said.

They’ll turn to him in confusion. Sword Light angrily said to him, “He was talking to him. And you don’t even try.”

Shining Armor began to speak heavily, “I was doing my patrol… across the castle with some guards. Until… an alicorn appear and attack the guards. I kept blasting him… but he kept dodging them… Then, he ran toward and demolish me… I try to jab him with my horn… but he was too fast… I’ve never seen any ponies like this monster before.”

Sunset Shimmer gasps after he mention the mysterious alicorn. She finally spoke, “Guys, I know who attack him.”

Twilight speak, “Who-” Then, a neon inferno appears in the throne room, blinding everyone in the room. Twilight peak through the rampaging flames and she spotted a figure in it. “WHO”S THAT?!!”

The mysterious figure steps out of the inferno and then cast a spell to end it as well. The others are finally seeing the intruder, it’s an alicorn. It was a black and white stripes colt alicorn, with dark gray mane, black and gray tail, and red colored eyes. The rest of them are frightened by the sinister alicorn. Sunset Shimmer is paralyzed, because she finally met the monster from her dream. The devious alicorn finally spoken, “Hello… Princess Twilight Sparkle.”

Twilight gasps. She demanded, “How do you know my name?!”

The colt alicorn laugh. He explains, “I’ve been watching you, Princess Twilight. You really believe I just got out of that meteor. I have been out of it for a year, ever since you first arrive to Ponyville.” Twilight and her friends gasps of what he said. “I witness you discover your friendship against Nightmare Moon. I saw how you and your friends defeated Discord and then reform him into good. I manage to get in Canterlot on your brother’s big wedding day, until I was attacked by these foolish changelings. I travel with you to the Crystal Kingdom and witness you’ll fought against King Sombra. I even witness you and your friends give up yours elements of harmony, so you can save Equestria and the princesses. That is why I come out of hiding, because you’ll are powerless without yours elements. And the only way to draw you here is your brother, Shining Armor. However, I was expecting the other two princesses to be here, but no matter. I will deal with them later. I’m pretty sure they will come back after I kill the two princesses stand before me.”

Sunset Shimmer cut in, “What about that nightmare I had you in?”

The evil alicorn teleported in front of her, which frighten the others. He spoke in a loving tone, “Ah. The beautiful Sunset Shimmer. I know not of how I appear of your dream instead of Twilight Sparkle. I wish I would of know about this.” She lifted her chin up and resume, “I know everything about your past. Being banned by your teacher, being alone, and found friendship. Why couldn't you become evil like me? We could of rule the universe... together.”

She pushes his hoof away and yelled, “I would never join a monster like you! Especially, the one who hurt my friend!”

After she was done, he teleported back down the throne. He speaks in a disappointed tone, “Wrong decision, little girl. But I know none of you can stand against me. That is why I take out the guards and torture Shining Armor as well.”

Cadance stares back at her sore husband and kiss his forehead. She stands up and walk in front of the others. She demanded, “WHO ARE YOU?!!”

He giggles and answer, “You may call me… Monster X. And I’m here to destroy this useless world, off the face of the galaxies.” Then, the castle shaken by the power of Monster X.

Sword Light ran and stand before him. He spoke bravely, “You want to hurt them, then you have go through me.”

Monster X smiled, “Gladly.”

Then, his horn glow neon light and blasted the guard, causing him to go fly off and crash through the wall. He draws his attention toward Loony, causing the unicorn to scream like a girl and flee cowardly. After he ran away, Rainbow Dash sign and whispered, “Wimp.”

Twilight and her friends stand tall against the evil alicorn, except Fluttershy and Spike as they hide behind Shining Armor. After they’re ready for battle, Monster X grinned and spoke, “Prepare… for extinction... my little ponies.”
