Chapter 6: The Final Battle for Equestria

The sky color has turned red and the ground began to rumble before the wrath of the evil invader, Nightmare X. Twilight and her friends stood helplessly witness as the evil invader consuming the darkness from Luna. He royally marched toward the victims and laugh villainy. "My plan work," Monster X laughed. "Waiting for the princess of the night to fall and then stolen all of her nightmare spirits. NOW I HAVE THE POWER TO VANQUISH THIS WORLD ONCE AND FOR ALL!!" He used his magic to grab Twilight and her mare friends towards him. "Now, none of your foolish friendship magic can stop me! Y'all will beg for mercy before me, because no one can save you now!"

"No," Twilight yelled. "We will never surrender to you! Soon Princess Celestia will recover and destroy you once and for all!"

Suddenly, the evil nightmare started to choke the young princess, causing a struggle toward her friends. "Dumb little girl. You really think you or anyone else will stop me. I will kill you here and now!" He stares deeply into the young pony eyes as he was choking her, but stopped. "Fortunately for you, I'm letting you live to see your mother in law slowly dying before you. Next, I will slaughter your sister in law. Finally, to really break you, I will slay you best friends one by one. I will love seeing you cry deeply. When your planet is dying by the flames... then... you have my permission to die."

Unexpectedly, he was stabbed in the neck, which letting go of Twilight and her friends. It was the earth pony guard whom stuck Nightmare X. As the evil unicorn screaming in pain, Sword Light yelled to his goofy friend, "Loony, get the princesses and the others out of here now! I will handle this demon!"

Loony was scared and caring spoke, "But Sword-"

"I SAID NOW!" As he watched his friend escorting the others to safety, his sword was tossed aside him and noticed Nightmare X still stands.

"Let the others to escape is a foolish move boy. You don't know what happened if they will be alright." The evil demon stare deeply in the young guard soul for a minute, then suddenly he echoed, "Bang." From a single word, he fired a neon beam toward the others. The beam went pass the young mares, but an explosion occurred.

The red colt turned towards the smoke and heard a scream among the girls. After the smoke faded, he spotted his best friend on the ground, remaining still. He was speechless for a while, then grabbed his sword and shield, roared, and charges toward the murder. The nightmare fired neon blasts from his red glowing eyes toward him, but he uses his shield to block it. He began to swing his sword at the monster a couple of times, but the killer kept dodging them. The young warrior weapons were blasted out of his hoofs and was levitated by his neon beams. Finally, he was thrown toward the mares.

Twilight rushes toward the injured guard, "Are you alright?"

"I am, your highness. Get your brother and sister out of here. I will distract him."

Sunset cut in, "No! You're no match against him!"

"None of y'all have the strength to fight him. Just get out of here."

Twilight was caring for his safety and for his life. "But-"

"Your majesty, it's my duty to protect the princesses, even if it kills me. Well I'm doing my duty. Now leave!!"

Twilight knows they don't have time to argue, so she followed his commands. She spotted Applejack and Rarity carry her brother and sister to safety then began to ran away from the battlefield. Leaving the injured warrior alone to fight the darkness.

Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash was speechless after the surprise earthquake and the sky was on fire. Her attention of the nightmare was interrupted by the ruler coughs. She quickly aided toward her princess and began to sob on her warm fur. As she was crying, she can feel one of Celestia wings covering her. Then, she cried, "Princess... what's going on out there?! I don't know if my friends are alive or..." She stopped and resumed sobbing.

"Hush my little pony," Celestia spoke with a caring tone. "I don't know if your friends are safe, but I do know that they're brave... just like you. Have faith, my brave pony. Your friends will return soon... I know they will." The young pegasus wrapped away her tears and began nuzzling at her neck as the princess lay a kiss on her forehead.

Suddenly, the rainbow pony got up quickly and ready to fight because she heard hoof steps charging toward them, fearing if it's Nightmare Moon or Monster X. The figure first steps in was her best friend, Twilight. She dashes, hugged her friend, and cried with joy, "TWILIGHT!! I'M SO GLAD THAT YOU'RE ALRIGHT!!" Behind her are the others, carrying Cadance and Shining Armor. The excited pony ran toward the others and cried, "GUYS!! I'M GLAD Y'ALL ALIVE TOO!!" She helped carry them and placed them beside the princess. She asked them, "What happened out there? What's Luna doing?"

They remain silent, but Sunset answered, "Luna is back to herself, but Monster X is back and steal the nightmare out of her."

Rainbow Dash was shocked for a while then spoke confused, "Wait! I thought he was dead!"

Applejack stood beside her, "Ah thought so too, sugarcube. Ah thought Luna ended him, but that bull doesn't like to be handled that easily. He was waiting for us to-" Suddenly, she was stuck on the side by a laser, leaving the others a major shock.

Rainbow rushes toward her friend with tears in her eyes and cried, "Applejack... Applejack... APPLEJACK!!" She turns toward the shooter and spotted X.

He laughed and spoke in a mocking tone, "Ooooooh I'm sorry. I just overheard that cowgirl mocking me by calling me a bull. She hurts my feelings, so I hurt her. Please don't tell me that she isn't important to y'all."

The raged pegasus turns toward the murder and roared, "She was my friend you... you... you... YOU BASTARD!!" Behind her was her friends diving in to stop her, but she is already rushing toward Nightmare X.

She then tackles him and starting to punch him in the face really rough like twenty times as both his mouth and nose were bleeding. Before she drove in another punch, the evil invader dodges it and bitten her hoof, causing her to scream in pain. Then, he electrified her and tossed her aside.

Watching their friend suffering out there, they were done being helpless and enter the battlefield, leaving Sunset to watch over the others. Twilight and the others charge toward the dark invader with with everything they got. She and Rarity fired their beams toward his eyes, which blinding him. While he was blinded, Fluttershy quickly tie a rope around his legs. Then, Pinkie fired her party cannon and pushes the him to the ground. Finally, the alicorn planted a non-magic chain around his horn. The young princess and her friends are cheering for trapping the monster. Sadly, the shy pegasus didn't tie up the ropes well, causing him to be free from the ropes and remove the chain.

When they turned around, they're shocked by his appearance. They looked back at Fluttershy and she apologized, "Sorry."

Then, he charges toward the innocent ponies and punish them. He tossed Rarity towards the wall of the castle. He smashed the party cannon and kicked the pink pony in the chin. He grabbed the purple unicorn and electrified her. The sadden pegasus tries to stop him, but he shamelessly slapped her. As he was torturing Twilight, he whispered to her ear, "I will enjoy seeing you cry before your friends demise. Watching everyone you hold so dear, dies before your eyes."

As the sinister alicorn was laughing out loud, he was blasted in the mouth and coughing out the smoke. When he turned toward the shooter, it was Sunset. Before he could make his move, he was damaged from Rainbow Dash head, causing her to be unconscious. The orange unicorn rushes towards her best friend aides. The young alicorn thanks for her help and quickly spring into action.

Both of the mares fired upon the sinister invader, but sadly no effect. The monster teleported behind and swept them aside. He reappeared by the young alicorn and punch her in the stomach. The two of them got back up and charged with fury in their eyes.

He said, "This is your last chance to surrender, my little ponies." Next, the two mares fired everything they got, but he have risen a shield to block them. He laughed as they were firing, "Come now. Is this anyway to make friends?" Then, he fired two neon blasts in one shot and injured the two mares. He stepped on the alicorn and resumed, "Listen, I'll spare this ridiculous game and end this quickly."

Twilight began crying in pain and shouted, "SHUT UP!! I WILL NEVER SURRENDER TO YOU!!!"

He giggled out of her struggle and laughed, "Well... this will be the end for you."

Suddenly, he was stabbed in the neck by Sunset, but still won't go down. He grabbed and tossed her in the open. He yelled in anger, "YOU BRAT!! I GAVE YOU A CHANCE TO BE BY MY SIDE!! AND THIS IS WHAT I GET!! YOU DIE!!!"

Twilight lay helplessly before her friend demise and cried with tears in her eyes, "NO!! STOOOOOOOOP!!!"

He gathered a whole amounts of energy and roared before he fired, "NOW DIIIIIIIIIE!!!" His neon blast headed towards the frightened unicorn, made collision, and released an explosion.

The young princess began sobbing in tears over her friend death. Sunset Shimmer. The mare who was redeemed and joined their friendship. Life taken away from this monster.

Until, the evil tyranny yelled, "WHAT?!"

Twilight drawn her attention to the dusty fog and spotted someone standing in it. It's the earth guard. It's appeared that he's holding a handle and let it go, which what used to be a shield. Behind him, is Sunset.

The guard was breathing hardly and was all scratch up. Sunset was shocked by his bravery and whispered nervously, "Wh-Wh-Why?" Light Sword tried to stand tall, but the devastating blast brought him down. She rushed to his aid. Tears were running out of her eyes as she cried, "Wh-Why? Why would you do that?"

He slowly lifted his head towards the unicorn and cry with his dying breath, "Be-Because... I don't want... anyone to die... like my best friend." Then, he's gone.

The shock unicorn kept tossed his body, trying to wake him up. She cried, "NO NO PLEASE DON'T GO!! PLEASE DON'T DIE!! PLEASE!!" She hugged and sobbed over his decay body. Even, Twilight cry over his honorary sacrifice.

Monster X, on the other hand, wasn't impressed. He said emotionless, "What a worthless soul to waste. He could have walked away and spend the remaining time of his life. But sadly no. He just wants to wasted by sacrificing himself to save a useless whore." He began walked over to the heartbroken unicorn. He laughed over her sob, "Hahahaha. Now, it's your turn to share his faith."

Suddenly, he was brought down by anonymous blast. They all turned toward the shooter and it was Celestia, with fire in her eyes. She roared in her equestrian voice, "THAT'S ENOUGH!! Her roar release an earthquake across Equestria. "I WANT YOU TO STOP IT!!!"

Monster X slowly got up and laughed, "So that's it huh. You're making the same mistake Twilight did, princess of the sun. Don't think you can stand a chance against my perfect form."

"I WILL MAKE YOU PAY FOR HARMING AND MURDERING MY SUBJECTS!!!

"Come at me, princess."

Both of the alicorns charge at each in full force. When they made contact, a whole amount of force blew through the area. Both of them kept shaving their horns at each other. Finally, she loses her horn and blasted his face. After blinding him, she tackled him to the ground, which causing a huge explosion. The princess try to rid the nightmare away from Monster X, but he regained his strength and tossed the princess. He held her down and torturing Celestia mercilessly.

He whispered on to her ear, "Now, you will die with you kingdom."

Then suddenly, he was shot down by a form of two blasts. It was from Cadance and Shining Armor. Cadance shouted, "Surrender X! With the power of our love, you'll be begging for our mercy!" They both fired their beams and shocking the tyranny.

As he was being electrified, he cried, "Oh no! I am doom! What will ever I will-EAT THIS!!" Then, he break through their beams, fired his levitated beams, and tossed them toward Celestia. He walked towards them sinisterly. "Fools. Do y'all really believe I've forgot about your love blast with the battle against Chrysalis? Now, to finish y'all-" He was cut off by another blast. "OH MY GOSH!!"

Twilight flew towards the heartless invader and tackle him. As she was stinking him, she roared, "Leave my family... ALONE!!"

He uses both of his upper legs to crush her back. He used his magic to grabbed her by the neck and laughed, "How many times will I brought you down? Now, you will-" He was cut off again by being tackled by Rainbow Dash. "OH COME ON!!"

She then shouted while punching him really hard in the chest, "STOP...HURTING... MY... FRIENDS!!"

Until, Nightmare X bitten and ripped a small piece of her ear, causing her to cry out in pain. He grabbed her by the cheeks and laughed, "This is what happens if you be a hero." He glowed his horn and scratch her right eye. After hearing her loud scream, he threw her aside.

Rainbow slowly got up and shouted, "Ha!! I'm not done with you, freak. Come here and fight!!"

He laughed, "What with you ponies, always cracking me up!! You, Rainbow Dash, are weak. Look at you, you're a pegasus! You don't have no horn! No magic! You're not even a alicorn!"

She was enraged by his insults. Both of her ear and scar eye was bleeding. She try to hold back her anger, but instead she just spill it out of her mouth. "Buck magic. Buck horns. Buck alicorns. AND BUCK YOU!!!" Then, in ten seconds, she released a rainboom and rushes to Nightmare X.

The insidious demon fired his neon beams at the rage pegasus, even though she's taking damage, she ignores the pain and kept charging. She tackled him and began punching him furiously in the face. Tears are running out of her eyes as she released all of her anger upon the murder of her close friend.

Nightmare X was coughing out blood from his mouth and eyes. He spoke every time he got punched by Rainbow Dash, "Please-let me-live... I-don't-want-to-die-"

"SHUT UP," the rainbow-haired pony roared. "JUST SHUT UP AND DIE!! JUST SHUT UP AND DIE!! JUST SHUT UP AND DIE!!" She keeps repeating it every time she punched him.

While she was torturing the invader, Twilight lay speechless by her best friend rage towards Nightmare X. Celestia was speechless as well by the young pony acting so violently. Even Twilight brother and sister were horrified as well. Sunset Shimmer, who still lay beside the decay guard body, was afraid by this new Rainbow Dash.

After the others recover, they were horrified by what they're seeing. Pinkie Pie left her jaw dropped while tears running down her eyes. Rarity was shocked by her friend harm towards X. Fluttershy shut her eyes, covered her ears, and cry over her closest friend rage.

Finally, her punches slow down as she began to cry. Nightmare X was dead in Rainbow sight. She ended her anger and sobbed on the monster decay body. She sobbed over Applejack death. Until, a western voice changed her mood, "Rainbow?"

Rainbow Dash hilt her tears and turned to the voice. It's Applejack. Beside her was Spike, helping her to keep balance. Everyone was surprised by her reappearance. Rainbow spoke confused, "Applejack-"

Then suddenly, she was blasted from behind and flew off in the open. Everyone were shocked by the event. Twilight screamed in horror, "RAINBOW!!"

The blast came from Nightmare X. His face was fastly healed by his dark magic. He roared in anger, "HOW DARE YOU MAGGOTS!! I WILL TORTURE AND KILL ALL OF YOU... NICE AND SLOWLY!!"

Twilight kept tossing her best friend body to wake up, but sadly not even a single movement occurred. She gave up and sob over the decay body. She can even hear her friends shading tears and mourns over Rainbow Dash. Then, she silence her cries, stand tall, faces toward Nightmare X, and roared in total rage, "I WILL DESTROY YOU FOR WHAT YOU DID TO HER!!!"

The heartless invader laughed and mocked her, "Oh, I am sorry. Why would you cry over her... instead of joining her." Before he can move, he was shot back in the head by Princess Luna. Everyone was surprised by her reappearance and bring joy to her sister face. Nightmare X rubbed his head and shouted, "You?! I THOUGHT I'VE STOLEN ALL OF YOUR MAGIC!!"

"Unworthy wealth," Princess Luna said angry. "You just stolen my nightmare. I still contain my own magic." She turned to Twilight. "Twilight, together!"

Both of the active alicorns fired upon Nightmare X and try to rid the nightmare away from him. Twilight was about to loses her grip, until they were supported by the rest of the family. Shining Armor and Cadance both stand by their sister to regain her strength. They were about to remove the nightmare form from him, until he released all of levitated beams at the magic, which causes an explosion.

After the explosion faded, everyone of Twilight bones are broken. She lay helplessly being a victim to Nightmare X. She turned to her families and friends all knocked out. Then, the evil invader laughed while he's walking towards her, "Well well well. Look like the mighty princess of friendship is down for good. Now, you lay defenseless before me."

Before Twilight await her demise, Spike voice occurred, "Twilight!" He rushes to her aid, until he was grabbed by the evil tyranny.

Nightmare X bring the baby dragon by his side and spoke, "You know what... I have a change of heart. I'll keep you baby dragon as a slave. Just a last remaining thing before I destroy this world... with you with it."

Twilight lifted her head slowly and roared, "Let him go or I will-"

"You'll what girl. Huh, HUH!! Look at you. You're weak!! You can't defend even yourself now. Face the facts, little girl. The princesses are down. You little rainbow friend is dead. You're nothing now. When will you get it!! You lost... I won." Then, he fired his neon blast at her, cause her to fly off. As he began walking away, Spike cried for Twilight aid, but she remains still.

The sky's turn into total darkness, the land is on fire. The ground was left with burn stains and a deceased body was spotted. The body on the ground is Shining Armor. Then, Twilight cried her brother name echoed across the darkness.

Then, Canterlot settlements began to explode. Princess Celestia scream echoed across the castle. Twilight called out her mentor name before she dies. Next, Spike cries for his best friend aid. She kept crying out for the baby dragon name before he dies as well. She was left alone, crying over the lost of her friends and family. Till Nightmare X laughing over the sadden alicorn suffering. Along with his sinister laugh, were her friends screaming in pain as they were dying, causing Twilight to shade even more tears. Finally, it all ended before Equestria, the whole planet, explodes.

Twilight woke up from the foreshadow nightmare. She quickly got up and fired the tyranny in the back, causing him to let go of Spike. After Spike was free, he quickly hide somewhere. The monster turned towards her with rage in his eyes. He yelled in anger, "WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO END YOU PONIES!!!"

Twilight spoke, "For Spike... for brother... for Celestia... for my family... for my friends and the future of Equestria... I am not about to give up. I won't let you get away this. I will finish you once and for all." Then, her whole body was starting to change as she was levitating. "This is for my Spike, friends, family, Rainbow Dash, and the innocent lives you merciless kill!"

As she was levitating, her whole body is starting to change. Her mane and ponytail started to grow longer. Her horn grow long as well. Stars shaped figures were formed on her hoofs. Different colors were formed on her alicorn wings. Twilight Sparkle have received the power of the rainbow.

Then, she spoke in a equestrian voice, "YOUR TIME HAS COME NIGHTMARE X!!" With all of her might, she released all of her power to finish the cruel tyranny. The blast is a rainbow changing colored beam.

As the full blast is heading toward him, he roared in anger, "YOU WILL NEVER WIN!! YOU WILL DIE WITH THIS WORLD!!!" After he roared, he released his amounts of neon blast towards hers.

When the whole beams made contact, the whole world is started to vibrate and the sky had turned into black. Both of the alicorns try to contain and strengthen their blasts. Suddenly, Twilight was getting weakened by using all of her energy to the blast. Nightmare X knew that she's getting weak and smile to wait for his get victory.

Until, on the sidelines, Sunset Shimmer walked toward them while ignoring the dust and the mighty winds blowing at her. She started angry towards the nightmare invader. She whispered to herself, "I don't care if you're really that powerful. You hurt my friends and even killed one of them. You slaughtered innocent ponies, who had done nothing to you. I just want you dead!!"

Finally, she fired and broken Nightmare X horn, causing him to lose control over his blast. Twilight heard the snap of his horn and gave everything into her blast to finish him once and for all.

Before dissolving from the mighty blast, he echoed with his dying breath, "Impossible! How can I be defeated... by the likes of you... I am the most powerful being in this world... I'm a god... I'm a... god." Then, he roared as he's dissolving to death within the blast, expected the nightmare he had stolen from Luna, which escape the blast and returned to it rightful owner.

Finally, Monster X is destroyed from the blast. Twilight was breathing heavily and then went unconscious before falling to the ground.
