Chapter 1: Trip to the Hospital
Load Full Story-3:00 PM Ponyville, Equestria: 5 Minutes before the phone call-
-Brian's POV-
I went to Chuck. E Cheese near Ponyville. Since humanity came to Equestria, their technology upgraded significantly and I am one of the human residents there. Well, back to the topic I was talking about. I went to Chuck E. Cheese to hang out with friends and family since it was a birthday party for one of the children that was the daughter of one of my friends. Many fillies, colts, and human boys and girls filled the place today.
"Hey Brian," One of my friends called. "Come check this game out." I came over to check out the game and I was about to play it when I got the call.
I grabbed my cell phone and I realized who it was. It was Soarin. I picked up the phone then. "Hey Soarin, whats up?" I asked.
Soarin paused for a few seconds then he finally said, "Brian, Rainbow Dash almost got killed today by Spitfire." I gasped in shock. "WHAT?! This is impossible, why would Spitfire do that? What in Equestria!!! HOW DARE SHE!" "I know this is hard, I was injured but, I'm likely to be ok. Rainbow Dash...... probably won't survive. Come to the hospital right now" "Ok I'm on my way right now." I hang up the phone and talk to my friend. "Dude, I'm so sorry to say this but I gotta go. It's a family emergency for me."
My friend depressingly responded "Ok, you better go. Is she ok?" "No Time! I need to go!" I then dashed for the door to my car. I got to the car and dashed out of the parking lot very fast. I went onto the freeway at over 100 MPH fearing the worst before I arrived in Canterlot.
When I arrived at the hospital parking lot, I dashed into the emergency room. "Where is Rainbow Dash?! WHERE IS SHE!!!" I asked the nurse in frustration. She led me to her and the sight was just awful. She had broken wings and lots of broken bones with blood coming out as doctors try to control her bleeding. The bumps and bruises were nothing like I ever seen before in my life. I had to leave the room to comprehend what happened.
I still refused to believe it though I saw it. I didn't want to believe it. Soarin and I were good at sharing Rainbow Dash as our girlfriend. In fact, Soarin is now like a brother to me. Why couldn't Spitfire share Soarin as her boyfriend with Rainbow Dash? Well, Spitfire did make the biggest mistake of her life, leading to her being in the Canterlot Dungeons for life from what I was hearing in other conservations. There is a new captain replacing Spitfire for the Wonderbolts from what I heard.
I still felt like my time wasn't enough. I needed more time to comprehend what happened. I decided to go home to grab my laptop and come back. And that's exactly what I did. I told the reception and of course Soarin I would be back as soon as I could.
Back at home, I grabbed my laptop and I needed to read the news to investigate what happened. After I grabbed what I needed, I drove back to the hospital still nervous and scared. I almost ran a red light because I was too nervous to focus on the road. I needed to talk to Soarin as soon as I could when I got there.
When I arrived back at the hospital, I was still in fear and nerve. I stayed in the waiting area and got on my laptop to find the article that explained what happened. I happened to find one very quickly fortunately. I opened the site and read the arcticle.
The first paragraph of the article explained some of it. It would be enough to satisfy me but I kept reading. I found that Spitfire had suddenly turned insane. That would explain why she tried to kill Rainbow Dash. I was glad Spitfire was in the Canterlot dungeons for life. She deserved it after what she did to the love of my life and her other boyfriend, Soarin.
As I continued reading, I found there were guards trying to defend them, but they didn't succeed at all. It got so bad that the princesses were involved. I found out that Luna sentenced Spitfire to life in the Canterlot dungeons. This was all starting to make sense now. I feel Luna did the right thing though. I am now ashamed of Spitfire. Well, I hope her condition doesn't get any worse.
