//-------------------------------------------------------// Transformers: Backstory to the Requiem -by mirageandjazz11- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The Prologue: Last time on the Transformers: Fall of Equestria Trilogy //-------------------------------------------------------// The Prologue: Last time on the Transformers: Fall of Equestria Trilogy Cybertron: shortly before the start of The Great War Death, destruction, misery, chaos, grief, regret, greed and treachery all of these and more polluted the Universe poisoning it and turning it into a battleground that was safe to no one not even on the planets that were built around the concept of Peace and Friendship. Where did all this toxic darkness originate from? The unfortunate answer points to a once glorious and wonderful planet know as Cybertron well known as a planet whose inhabitants have always fought off invaders and have been responsible for saving the universe itself multiple times but decades of fighting other species could never prepare them for the wars between their own people which had started when a noble hero was corrupted by his own desires for a perfect world, This hero Megatron had poisoned the ideals and dreams of many others and had gathered a following known only by the name of Decepticon a name which had meant that Deception was a necessary weapon to use against, those who would lie and cheat to control society such as the corrupted Senate who Megatron fought against in attempts to bring upon a golden age to Cybertron. When Megatron's closest ally and friend Orion Pax was rewarded the title of Optimus Prime by the Cybertronian High Council instead of himself he declared war on the newly formed Autobot motion furious of having been "betrayed" by his brother the great war had then begun where many great cities such as Vos and Tarn as well as many species of Cybertronian life like Turbofoxes were destroyed as the two factions fought each other in what seemed like endless combat which had resulted in the death's of many Cybertronians such as the first 2 Autobot leaders Sentinel Prime and Zeta Prime along with most of the Autobot High Council such as Halogen the first casualty of the war slain by Megatron himself many generations were lost, many to be forgotten by history. But after a long period it was then that the war had taken a dark turn when it suffered the greatest of all casualties when the Decepticons had dared attempt to alter Cybertron's core to their own designs by corrupting it with the darkness that was dark energon the spark of their planet had shut itself down to heal itself but not before it had gifted Optimus with the legendary and vastly sought after Matrix of Leadership an artifact of great wisdom although it had also revealed a Dark presence know as the Dark Spark the antithesis of the Matrix of Leadership an artifact if the user was skilled and strong willed enough could use terrifying powers such as to bend the fabric of space and time as well as anyone and anything to their will although the Autobots were able to expel it from Cybertron the Dark Spark was still out there and it's return to the war was inevitable. ___________________________________________________ 5 years before first contact with Equestria Cybertron's death had meant that it was no longer able to produce the life giving force that was energon and Megatron's selfishness in infecting Energon reservoirs with Dark Energon absolutely did not help, Optimus knowing that the war was lost had no choice but to order the hardest decision he had ever had to make as leader at the time...they would have to evacuate Cybertron for millions of years and lead the Decepticons away from their home so the damaged Cybertron could heal unfortunately there were not enough ships for everyone so Ultra Magnus, Impactor and most of the other Wreckers alongside a few other Autobots volunteered to remain behind on Cybertron to bring the fight to the remaining Cons lead by Decepticon scientist and second in command Shockwave and his lieutenants Octane and Dreadwing the seeker commander of the Decepticon's drone forces. The Autobots had left aboard two ships the first was the Ark a Vanguard-class Deep Space Cargo Hauler which was captained by Optimus, The second ship launched secretly so it would avoid detection, this 2nd ship was the Arclight a smaller Galactic Transport Interceptor captained by the Autobots first lieutenant and military strategist Prowl. Meanwhile the Decepticons had launched a ship of their own, the former research station and Decepticon titan Trypticon was converted into a Nemesis-class warship so it may be used to hunt down and slaughter the Autobots before finally conquering the universe in the name of Cybertronian glory. Although the Decepticons had intervened with the Ark's path resulting in a major space battle to decide who would be able and worthy to travel into the portal that would lead to a primitive planet filled with raw energy which would be used to help restore Cybertron faster unfortunately both star ships had lost control, both were lost into the portal shortly before the Arclight could arrive to give the Ark some backup and follow it's sister ship but neither the Autobots or Decepticons were destroyed but in fact had crash landed onto the primitive planet strangely enough as it turned out the planet was not as primitive as first believed as it was populated by many organic species who all lived in peace and harmony but this planet had a name of it's own... Equestria ___________________________________________________ Equestria: 2 years before current events The Autobots were then discovered by six of the planet's equestrian population these six were great heroes in their own right having had saved the planet many times and as such they were referred by the planet's people as "The Mane Six" a group that consisted of six mares who each represented one sixth of the planets most powerful defense against chaos which was known as the Elements of Harmony the members of this group became among the Autobot's first friends on Equestria the members of the group consist of the following: Twilight Sparkle: The defacto group leader who is an intelligent young mare who has rather recently became the 4th Princess of Equestria although she doubts herself many see her as a natural born leader who can be trusted to always find the best way to solve the toughest of problems, Twilight represents the Element of magic. Rainbow Dash: She might be a hot head and get's herself in many sticky situations but out of all the group she is the one who will never leave your side even when others do, Dash also takes pride in bragging about her being the fastest flyer in Equestria and having what it takes to be a part of the best flying team in Equestria the Wonderbolts, Dash represents the Element of loyalty. Applejack: Applejack is a brave, reliable, strong, mature, and hard-working pony, although headstrong about doing things on her own she can be trusted to be honest about her actions and her thoughts about the matter at hand, she is also arguably the most physically fit of the group and is probably the most likely to survive getting smacked by a Cybertronian, AJ represents the Element of honesty. Fluttershy: Fluttershy is the more timid of the group and is easily prone to be frightened although if you get to know her you will discover that she is probably the kindest and gentlest soul that could ever exist as such evidence being the kindness and caring nature she shows towards her animals and friends but be warned if you do threaten the ones she cares about Fluttershy will not hesitate to beat you to a pulp or subject you to The Stare, Fluttershy represents the Element of kindness. Pinkie Pie: Giggly, Fun, Chatterbox that is only the surface of the strange and wacky being that is Pinkie Pie, Always ready with a joke and a laugh, Pinkie Pie’s vibrant energy is what keeps the groups chins up even if everything is being destroyed by a one eyed, flying, purple, people killer, She can do anything to make someone smile and laugh while she throws parties for every single event no matter how  insignificant it is, Pinkie represents the Element of laughter. Rarity: Rarity could possibly be the most beautiful Unicorn you've ever seen, and she works hard to keep it that way, although many mistake and see her as entitled and prissy, Rarity has a heart as pure as gold and is probably the most generous Equestrian on the planet and when it really comes to it Rarity is not afraid to get her hooves dirty to help or save a friend, Rarity represents the Element of generosity. Together the mane 6 and some of Equestria's populace teamed up and helped their new friends against the Decepticons as they tried to harvest the planet's energy and attempt to conquer their world in two separate occasions while teaming up with some of the more hostile of Equestria's inhabitants such as Queen Chrysalis and her army of Changelings and the evil King Sombra although things took a dark turn at the end of the conflicts when the Decepticons invaded the planet in a world wide assault the Autobots and the Equestrians took on the Decepticons and their allies for one final battle at the snowy region of the Crystal Empire although they had won the battle and protected Equestria the conflict had cost the Autobots dearly as the Crystal Heart had triggered a warp hole that had begun to suck up anything and everything Cybertronian related including both the Autobots and the Decepticons. Optimus and Twilight together finally defeated Megatron then they and everyone else tearfully said their goodbyes as the Autobots vanished into the warp hole and the Transformers had left Equestria forever. Or so they would of thought... ___________________________________________________ Cybertron: In between the year before current events on Equestria The Transformers on Equestria turned out to still function unfortunately almost everyone was deactivated from the unstable energies of the portal with Shockwave being the only survivor and after he had woken he thought it was finally time to initiate a new plan without the foolish and failure inducing influence of Megatron but even Shockwave recognized that he could not work alone so he gathered the energon of his fallen brothers and the deceased Autobots and brought back only the more competent of Decepticons and a few Vehicons for labor work afterwards Shockwave would get rid of their Autobot enemies's empty shells dumping them on Equestria for Shockwave had plans to conquer Equestria and use the planets resources in addition to the energon from the drained Transformers to revive Cybertron. As well as something Shockwave would otherwise never resort to grand plans for personal revenge... While there was plenty of energon in the corpses it was not enough for him so Shockwave partially revived Optimus just enough so that Shockwave could use Prime's unique spark signature and voice to forge a fake message inviting anyone left back to Cybertron claiming that the war was over and that the Autobots had won, The message had tricked most of the Autobots that were still on Cybertron to come out of hiding so anyone or anything else foolish enough to come out of hiding would be killed and have their energon siphoned for Shockwave's grand plan although they weren't the only ones who caught the attention of the signal. Two ships would arrive on Cybertron the first being a ship of Decepticon design this newly arrived vessel known as The Leviathan was a Decepticon battleship commanded by a ruthless and brutal Decepticon commander named Switchblade who during his travels was able to reclaim the Dark Spark from deep space for the Decepticons and presented it to Shockwave and together the two Decepticons came up with a grand scheme to use both the Dark Spark and the Matrix that was recovered from Prime to reboot Cybertron and bring forth a new golden age in their own image that Shockwave would rule with absolute limitlessness power. But absolute power corrupts absolutely, and Shockwave's Cybertronian revolution, like many such movements, ended up becoming a whole new selfish goal up to the point where Shockwave stealthy betrayed other Decepticons and killed them as well believing that logically there should only be a few to rule the new, Cybertron planning to get rid of most of the Decepticons when the time came and after these betrayals Shockwave ordered the Decepticons to prepare to advance to Equestria for the first step of the plan. The 2nd ship that arrived to Cybertron however was the Arclight which was still captained by Prowl, upon arriving on Cybertron however the crew were ambushed and the Arclight was detained with almost all of the crew being captured for draining with only a few Autobots led by Prowl, being able to escape fortunately they were able to find Impactor's remaining Wreckers that had managed to stay hidden, the rag team of Autobot's formulated a plan to retake the Arclight and possibly stop Shockwave before he can leave. Unfortunately Shockwave had correctly predicted that the Autobots would come for their ship and the results were so disastrous that the Autobots gained absolutely nothing and had lost almost everything with the death's of the majority of the Arclight crew, the remaining Autobots were able to reclaim their ship and started to follow Shockwave to Equestria but at that point Autobot sniper Crosshairs suffers from a mental breakdown and leads a mutiny which included Himself, The Wrecker Hot Shot, and Aerialbots Barrel-Roll and Alpha Bravo, they steal almost all of the remaining Energon the Autobots had and they flee on-board the Arclight's drop ship component believing that the end times have come and that they were all going to die if they fought back. During the chaos on Cybertron Autobot medic Meltdown was separated from the rest of the group and gets left behind as the rest of them were under the believe that he was also dead but Meltdown was saved when Alpha Trion appeared and brought the Autobot with him he explained that Meltdown was needed to help save The Autobots, Equestria and the rest of the Universe, the ancient Prime gives him information, equipment, and energon shards to revive the Autobots on Equestria as well as a ship to get him there Meltdown accepted the historian's mission and took off, Alpha Trion then returned to his hideout where he is approached by a Decepticon wrecked with grief for his actions and asks for forgiveness and wished to be an Autobot, Alpha Trion gave the new Autobot Drift a similar mission to help the Autobots and Equestria. ________________________________________________ Equestria: present day and time In the year since the final battle a few of the ponies most of them victims from the battles had banded together to form a group dedicated to protecting Equestria from future alien invaders leading them was a pony named Noctune a being filled with such hate that in due time could potentially become a true monster, He manipulated the members in the Alliance using their hate and desires for revenge to slowly enact a plan to overthrow the "evil" Princess Celestia in revenge for events that had happened in the past. The Decepticon star ships Nemesis and Leviathan arrive at Equestria specifically in the snowy regions far away from any populated areas, The Leviathan would start harvesting energy and resources to convert into energon while the Nemesis and its crew observed the planet in secret, watching, waiting for the perfect opportunity to spring their plan into action. The Arclight arrives at Equestria some time after the Decepticons but due to The Arclight having been damaged greatly and Crosshairs mutiny  the crew is forced to send only three of them to Equestria in a escape pod, Prowl, Tapout and Leadfoot volunteer themselves for the mission to scout but not to engage or interact with anyone no matter who it was or how much they needed them. These stories cover theirs and more perspectives in the third and final Equestrian war.
