I always thought that things in this world were so perfect, you know how everything here seems so easy? Well it's not, I have learned there is no such thing as an easy life. It turns out that things were a lot more complicated for me. You see I was once married to the great mighty Discord, a draconequess just like me. We were childhood sweethearts, we grew strong in power and fierce. Soon we wanted more and he decided that Equestria was to be it, a real home for us to rule as king and queen, the perfect setting for us to raise our new born son. I decided to hide in the darkness with our son, unknown to the princesses that I was part of the plan. We thought it would be so easy with our magic, I tended to my son as I let him take the reigns. But I wish I had been there, once I came back to see how things were going all I found was my husband encased in stone. I thought he was gone, decided from our world. I was heartbroken by the sight, the very thing turned my sanity into something much more sinister. In that moment I broke down but soon I laughed, a laugh of pure insanity. I looked at my son and smiled, he looks so much like his father, I couldn't take care of him without Discord. I did keep him but I never tried to bond with him, it was too hard. I hid away in the depths of the Everfree forest inside a cave near a river. My poor son, I couldn't face him because of his resemblance, because of the memories. I neglected him and within a few years once my son grew more he left. I cared not at the time, I pretended I didn't at least, nothing could fix the pain I felt. Once time passed, a long, long time, he wasn't dead like I thought. I caught word of him being freed and resealed by some ponies, I ignored it to just a rumor but once I found out he was freed again to be used for good I had to make sure. I sneaked into Ponyville one night to a cottage of a pony named Fluttershy. Looking through that window of her small neat little home I saw him on the couch sleeping, It wasn't but two days after I heard he was 'reformed'. I wasn't happy to see him, I had been unfaithful after his sealing. I had slept around, neglected my son taken advantage of so many ponies just to try to get rid of my pain but it only hid it and made it worse. I was almost sad and a little angry to see him alive, not at him but at myself. I know he saw me, once I turned to leave he caught me outside. He begged me to stay and tell me what had happened to me and our son. I looked at him, the look I gave must have had a huge impact on him, as if it said all it needed to and all I felt because the look he gave me back was utter heartbreak. He let me go after that, I sulked away back to my cave and hid away for a while more to come. Soon things changed, one morning I woke up early to a strange warping sound outside the cave...
