We start our story in a house on a farm and in that house on that farm is a pony who is in a bed in a room on the 2nd floor down the hall on the left . Now Apple jack was definitely not use to lying on such a nice day like the one she was seeing outside when she could be working the farm or doing chores around the house but today was different for you see Apple jack sprained her hoof showing Rainbow Dash how hard she could buck 10 apple trees in a row it was the 7th tree when it happened and boy did it hurt her hoof and for apple jack herself well she was bummed out that she would not be able to do what she normally does for a week or two as she takes it easy and heals . AppleJack : You can do this Apple Jack it's just a week awwww horse feathers it hasn't even been a day yet and I'm already talking to myself from being cooped up in this here room I got to do something . down stairs granny Smith is making some soup for apple jack talking to apple bloom . Granny Smith : Poor apple jack she must be just miserable not being able to do anything I know how much she loves to help always working so hard all the time puts a lot of strain on her body not like she would ever bother any pony with her problems she just keeps pushing her self and this sort of thing was bound to happen eventually now apple bloom would you be a dear and give this to your sister . Apple Bloom : But granny I am a pony not a deer but leave it to me maybe I'll even get my cutie mark in giving soup or would that be bringing soup . apple bloom trails off with her thought on the possibility of getting a cutie mark as a familiar pony approaches the door why Its Pinkie busting in as balloons that seem to come from every where and no where fill the room . Pinkie: APPLE JACK YOUR BEST AND FUNNEST COUSIN PINKIEEE IS HERE TO CHEER YOU UP. Granny Smith: shush now apple jack is busy trying to rest so please be quiet . Pinkie: oh okay . With all the commotion going on apple jack cant get a moment to rest . Apple Jack: Is that pinkie pie I hear all I want to do is try and rest but she is going to want to throw like 3 parties at once but if I say no I'll break her party loving heart oh what is a pony to do . The door to the room creaks open apple jack turns to the door . Apple Jack: Is that you pinkie look I would love to have fun with you just not today maybe some time later okay I just hope your not mad at me . Instead of the pink pony apple jack was expecting it was apple bloom with bowl of soup. Apple Bloom: hey sis granny said to give you this here soup and don't worry pinkie left when she saw a rainbow outside I think she chased after it or something . Apple Jack: yep that sounds like pinkie alright and uh just leave the soup on the night stand I will eat it later when I'm hungry . Apple Bloom: But apple jack granny smith said eating would help get your strength up and help you get better. Apple Jack: I don't doubt that but I just have not been feeling to keen on eating anything when usually I work all day to build up a hunger and eat at the end of the day It just aint the same you know .
