Sneeze the Day

“Oh, you’re so sweet to offer, Pinkie,” Discord said. “But Rarity and Applejack already volunteered to be my own personal nursemaids.”

Applejack and Rarity looked at one another, “We did?”

“I so hope you don’t mind, Pinkie Pie,” he said as she still dangled by the tree branch that Discord hung her up on earlier.

After taking a glance at the ground, Pinkie Pie let go of the branch and landed safely on her two feet, “Well, as a matter of fact, I most certainly do min-,” she stopped midsentence. Her eyes turned to something more… attention-grabbing.

An entity in pink, round and floating, with a string attached, hovered passed her little head. She tried to ignore the… hypnotic and alluring sight. But it was no use. Her eyes glistened and her mind quickly drifted onto the pink balloon.

“Hey! Who keeps throwing away these perfectly good balloons?” She turned tail and began following the balloon as it drifted farther and farther away.

“Ah don’t like this,” Applejack whispered into Rarity’s ear. They turned their attention away to Discord when they noticed him lying on a hospital bed in the middle of the train station with all the fancy hospital equipment around. “Whatever we do, we can’t let him out of our sights.”

Rarity nodded. “Mhm, whatever it takes.”

“Mind if I join in on all this girly whispering, murmuring, and dare I say... gossiping behind my back?” came his voice from behind.

They looked to see nothing but a lamppost but in no time it fully morphed into Discord who towered over them.

“Why am Ah not surprised?” Applejack said.

“If I heard right,” Discord paused, picking his ear to Rarity’s disgust. Out of the sudden, Discord placed both of his hands onto Applejack and Rarity’s cheeks and lifted them up to meet his face, “You two would do anything for me?”

With their faces squished together, their eyes anxiously met together before returning back to Discord. Both of them knew what one another had to say. For Twilight.

“Why, of course, Discord dearie!”

“We’d be glad to...”

“Oh ho ho!” Discord cackled. He then dropped the two high above the ground, with Rarity landing on top of Applejack. Discord then leaned towards them laying on the ground. “How splendid, Applejack. I’m gla- gla- glad too-HAAACHOOO!”

A white blinding light emitting from Discord’s nostril engulfed himself, then Applejack and Rarity and when the light cleared, there was no one left at the train station.
