Missing the Virtual
The lost
Load Full StoryTia peaked through the door. Her eyes were annoyed and quite unsurprising.
"Yo Derpy! Need to get that spawner! Oh SHOOT!! I died.. I'm comin' back to you but I lost my sword. Hand me one of your emeralds... YES!!! Thank you so mu-"
The screen shut off. Luna looked behind her very suspiciously. She pouted her mouth. "Tia! I was in the middle of a battle with Derpy!! She's gonna die in there!"
Celestia grinds her teeth. It was so many times. No surprise in stupidity. No lessons learned. The waving mane drooped down to the floor. Nah. No shimmer on it either.
"How many times do I have to say this Luna? I DON'T WANT YOU IN VIDEO GAMES WHEN GUESTS ARE HERE!!!!" She screamed. Celestia hadn't noticed, but the whole castle and princess Twilight heard that. Oh yeah, Princes Twilight is the guest. Woopsies?
Twilight ran up the grand stairs, trying to not let her crown fall and shatter. Climbing through the echoed halls, she looked for the noise. Celestia suddenly came out of a room, pulling Luna's mane with her teeth.
"Ouch! Tia!! I was in the middle of doing-"
Her sister pulled her by the neck of her shirt. Even though it was Luna's favorite from when she first went to gamingcon, she didn't care. Her eyes furrowed down... deep with madness. Her breath smelled like flowers and.. Cake?
Luna was surprised she actually gagged. It was a nice aroma after all.
She uttered words while trying to keep her lips shut, "You change right this instant or I will make sure I take your video games for 3 MOONS!" Her voice boomed at the last word. Her sister whimpered and nodded, making a large gulp down her throat. Celestia let go, dropping Luna to the floor.
A small thud, and it was miss nice, pretty princess all over again. She walked out, stomping her way down the hall. Twilight peaked out of the curtains with confusion. She had hid so that she could listen to all that.
Luna cursed under her breath. Her head low and glum, she walked off.
Twilight gave an insignificant look. Her mouth was dangling open. Then, she stopped her little trance. The new princess snickered, and flew off.
Luna combed her tangly mane. Ugh, that stupid Tia. But then again, royal duties come first. Her hooves twisted around her crown as she held it. Muttering nothing but curses under her breath. She tapped the jewels that were glued to the stupid curved headdress. The feeling of buttons on a controller.
Her eyes recomposed it's way to the mirror. She could imagine the enemy swarming in on her kingdom. IT was named the kingdom of Ferocious Knights for a reason. Helping Lyra, or was it Vinyl? She placed hooves on her weapon, ready for the call of..
"FIRE!!!"
She rose quickly from her cushion, throwing little pins into the mirror. She heard it again.
"FIRE!!!"
Fire more poison arrows? But we don't have enough supplied with our army! Miss Jubilee was sick and wasn't able to get the herbs to produce poison!
"PRINCESS!! SOMEONE!! ANYONE!! THERE IS A FIRE!!!"
Luna's door opened, interrupting her war with her mirror. She dropped the tiara on the dresser and stopped her trance. As she turned around, her mane was fiercely aggravated. Expecting to hear more idiotic cries, her ears flopped. No more bursting my freaking eardrums!! I don't want to become deaf here!
"Princess! There is fire in the kitchen! Please help me!" A worried chef screamed. Luna calmly, controlling her anger, sighed.
"Why should any of you fellow ponies cry at such utter waste? Pointless is what you are screeching to my beloved ears!" She murmured. A large 'AHEM' followed with her annoyed tone.
The poor pony's face turned red of embarrassment. Her thoughts blurted the words of will I have to be banished to Neptune? A facehoof was enough to show that Luna didn't want to be disturbed. The pony's voice came to a whisper.
"I-I'm sorry to bother you b-b-b-but there is a f-f-f-fire in the k-k-kitchen! C-can you help?"
A shake of the head. That was her reply. "Sorry Cake Twist. It's not my job to do the kitchen. It's Tia's. She was the one who ate the chocolate banana cupcake that was supposed to be eaten on her birthday and not a month before! Now leave my sight! As you may not see, I'm in a depriving mood."
She groaned at the last word. Mood. Who knew what virtual pony's moods were. The scared pony left, running towards the grand hall. Luna was left, changing and changing her outfit. All she could find that actually suited her were her Picachu, Minnie Mouse, and Minecraft cosplay.
After ten minutes were wasted on fantasy, whining, and changing, she stayed with her simple ordinary princess garment.
Nothing. Just a dark crown and necklace.
After all, Ponies don't wear clothes, right?
Twilight's hooves circled the plate. Circling, Circling, Circling. Her left hoof pressed on the purple cheek with boredom. If only she could get in there.
She frowned. Now, she slammed the table. Enough was enough. She had to find out. That dark purple mane she had been angered. Nothing was fun in an awesome castle with nothing to do. It was so... BORING! She looked at the plastic cup with blank eyes. Great. A huge problem and now a chipped cup.
Chip. Beauty and the Beast much?
When celestia hadn't come back yet, her mind glanced upon what had happened. So she's into video games. Hmm... She stood up, then tiptoed her way back to where Cele-
The "scene" happened. The cool name ripped off quite easily off of her head. "Pointless genetics. Why couldn't I have humor like Shining Armor?!?" She mumbled. Trotting away, she left the chipped white cup there, letting some pony come to pick it up.
***A couple minutes later..***
"Aha! This must be the gaming room. Well, gaming rooms do have weird shaped controllers, right?" Her hooves searched around the room for what she was looking for. Then, her dark eyes caught something.
"Yes.. Here it is." She found some paper and pen and wrote it down.
"Dang it, stupid ink! Why coul-
A voice boomed across the hall. "LUNA!? ARE YOU BACK TO THAT GAME ROOM!? YOU BETTER NOT BE! I'M GOING TO MAKE THE WARNING TWICE AS LARGE YOU IDIOT!!!"
Twilight turned around with horror, "Dammit, Dammit, Dammit!!" She bit her lip and trembled. She had to find a place to hide, NOW.. Her eyes wandered back and forth, finally she opened a small drawer that had a bunch of junk. It was way too small to fit her, but taking the wrong way means having to deal with sacrifices.
Celestia entered the room, with no pony at her sight. "Hmm.." She left, leaving the sound of suspicious grumbles echo across the hall.
"Phew"
Luna sat at the table. "Tia? Twilight?"
Celestia bounded across the room. "Oh! Here you are! I was searching for... Twilight?"
"You were looking for Twilight?"
"N-n-no. Twilight was sitting her just a minute ago before I went to check on YOU." She gasped.
"Oh shoot. The guest now went missing. I'll try to find h-"
"I'm Back!!!" A voice hollered. The purple missing alicorn chirped up. She made long strides when coming to the grand hall. Her face lit up, Luna just stared, no shock nor suspicion. Nothing.
Twilight blushed with embarrassment when she found the princesses looking at her weirdly. "I, uh, sorry. I needed to go use the bathroom."
Her voice came to a whisper. Celestia just smiled. Her face glowed with warmth. "Yes, it's alright. Now lets start! We just want to congratulate you on how you became princess. It's been a long 2 years for you and we appreciate all you have done for Equestria."
~Hours later~
Giggles and laughs filled the castle. Twilight's friends had come and everyone was talking. Well, Truth or Dare talk.
"So Princess Luna? Truth or Dare?" Pinkie exclaimed excitedly. She jumped up and down while her mane and tail poofed out a lot.
"Now Pinkie, I'm Luna. Not 'Princess Sophistication'! Umm..l. Truth!" She said.
"Hmm...", Pinkie placed her hoof on her chin, thinking really hard. Her mumbless were heard but she didn't say anything. Then, she smiled. The bad kind though. The evil kind.
"Tell everyone a secret that you were too embarrassed to say. It HAS to be SUPER GIRLY!!! Like, Romance girly!!"
Everyone Gasped. Princess Luna. A tomboy who had never liked girly stuff.
"MAJOR BLOW UP!" Dash screamed. Aj, Rarity, and everyone else added on.
"Wow, My dear! This is simply too.. exciting!"
"Wow. First time I ever thought of Luney having a girly side."
"Sugar cube! That has got to be tough on ya!"
Every pony chattered away. Pinkie started to loose her happiness. Instead of sad, it turned more annoyed than ever! Eyes bulging and hair burning, she stood on top of the table.
"LET THE DARN PRINCESS SAY SOMETHING!!!!!!"
The noise came to a stop. A very eerie stop. Heads turned to face the Princess of the night. She blushed from her head to toe. A scowl came in her face. A murmur of breath had added to the fact she wanted the chatter to go on. Blinking, her face turned away, making her mane cover her face. "I-I-I like r-reading romance comics,"
A shake of everyone's head was their reply. "We couldn't hear you dearie! Speak up!" Rarity said delightfully, sipping a cup of warm tea. Once again, another unision- but with nods- came about. Luna still kept her face covered.
"I l-l-like reading r-r-romance comics," She spoke, loud enough for everybody to ooh and ah. Pinkie squealed with excitement. Her face is so Kawaii.. How does she do it?
"If I may yer Highness, I'd like to say I like 'em too! Which one are ya readin?" Aj added with a chuckle.
Luna popped her eyes with surprise. A mare that farms likes romance comics. She stood up, the dark face feeling a little more confident. "I'll bring them, I guess. We could trade!" Luna's eyes were bright but still.. trembling.
She trotted away into her game room. Yeah, she left her comics in the 'junk drawer' so that no one would suspect that she was all girly. When she opened the door, a sigh of grief fell upon her.
Why did she have to adm-
Wait a second. Something tingled in Luna's skin. The fishy smell of a thief was in the air. Rummaging around her room, her eyes were filled with worry. Something was missing. it was like in Spider pony where he had some sort of Spidey sense or whatever they called it. Then, it struck her.
Turning around, Luna's hooves clutched to the floor. She gasped. It had happened. Her worst fear finally came alive. Touching the area where her favorite thing used to be, she started bawling.
"It's gone!!! My CONSOLE IS GONE!!!!!"
