The Nightmare Within

Swept aimlessly through darkness, misshapen figures snickered at me.

The dark unknown mist broke, revealing my friends: in a circle surrounded by churning dark mist.

Before I could even scream the scene changed; Me, PaintHoof: surrounded by darkness with voices that sounded like daggers scraping amongst shields, bribing me into something. Reminding me of some of my darkest times.

I then found myself falling...

"LUNA!!! PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!" I shrieked, "MAKE THE NIGHTMARES GO AWAY! PLEASE, DO YOU HEAR ME?!"

As soon as I hit the ground, I woke.

Shining Knight was furiously shaking me, "PAINTHOOF!" He called..."BRO?! WAKE UP...!!"

"I am..." I muttered, "What is it...?"

He flinched, and stepped back, "Well, you where screaming and I kind of freaked out... Sorry."

I noticed I had my head laid on my desk... I quickly got up...

"Did I really freaking fall asleep on my desk while I was drawing?! I thought. I looked back at the sketch of my latest painting, hanging from the small board above the small blue desk...

It was of a sunset, two Pegasi circled a small beam of green and blue light. I don't know how I got the idea, but I loved it...
