love of a quircky kind

     Pinkie lowered me to the ground with one of the largest grins on her that i have ever seen.  "so when are we going to throw your I just got my Cutie Mark party."          I was visibly stunned that she was already on the move to throwing me a party even though she still hadn't gotten the cake off of her face.  This is why I loved Pinkie, she is just so random.

                     *Current Time*

Apple Bloom came barging in through my front door to see me and my friend Night Fall just hanging out.  He was reading a book of legends like the creation of snowflakes. Night Fall was a dark grey colt with golden eyes and his hair was black with red stripes throughout it. I was working on the Prank Turret 2.0, face first in the blue prints with designs, pens, and books scattered around me with a huge grin crossing my face that within the last year has apparently been learned that is a sign of warning to anyone of the people that I care about. Apple Bloom finally taking in the surroundings of the room "Ay Spaz, Night...mah cousin will be visitin in a month"

Night had a forlorn look on his face as he pulled away from the book and said "Hi Apple Bloom. which cousin?"

I was still to enthralled with my plans for my upgrade now that i had a literal more grasp on my levitation magic...maybe I would be able to make it float around me with the power of minimal magic.  Apple Bloom looks at Night and says "Its the one from Mane Hatten! and i'm so excited i cant wait"

I finally look up knowing my face is probably covered in ink of some sort hopefully invisible and ask "So street apple? no wait...Big Apple? Is it one of them?"

"Spaz, Why do ya have to be so saracstic? can't y'all ever just be staight with me."

I had to look at her long and hard as I stood up and shook myself off. "Fine...I'm Glad you came over to visit me on this fine day and I hope I can make your visit the greatest you have ever had. Until your cousin's arrival Night Fall and I shall be making a huge red carpet to lay out from the train station to Sweet Apple Acres just so she shall feel like this is a new home for her."     Night just glared at me like I had just insulted all that he stood for...but Apple Blooms response threw me off

"Let's go tell Pinkie Pie and Apple Jack you said that."

Night kinda shuffled his feet as he set his book down on my table "Apple Bloom please don't do that...I really don't want to start making a red silk carpet for the next week. AND SPAZ STOP BEING A DICK!"

   "Well tell my would be sister to knock! I understand I live on the outskirts of there farm but isn't this my own building."

She looked taken aback at what I just said as she screamed at me "You didn't hear me knock'n because of y'all always being so into your plans!"     Then she grabbed up my next prank idea which involved one of our friends. He worked for sweet apple acres...all year round unlike me. I just work in the busy seasons and the rest of the year I try to convince the joke shop to hire me. "And I can't believe you wanna prank him...of all people!"

I had already kinda tossed that prank idea out of the window...to many problems for it to work and i was about to explain that to Bloom when she got in my face and tried to stare me down. "Bloom...you know Pinkie's rules I can prank anyone as long as they have had there welcome party AND are not named Flutter Shy."    Pinkie had once made it painfully obvious that if i pranked Flutter Shy I would be in a whole heap of trouble....I once came close to pranking Flutter Shy because she walked into the trap I had set for someone else. Its when i found out hidden spring traps don't work that well but having a sister has her own balloon will save lives.

Apple Bloom did not look pleased at the fact that I felt totally just shot down her argument. "Well I'll tell Applejack!"

"GO AHEAD!! I'll have Night Fall sell tickets!"

       Apple Bloom started to pout knowing she had lost...but I was still surprised that she had not called my bluff.  I may not fear Apple Jack don't get me wrong I totally respect her but I do fear Big Mac. He was the one who kept me in check yeah he let me do anything I'd want until Apple Jack or Pinkie told him I was in Trouble then I would be on lock-down.  I still think Pinkie showed him her secrets to moving so fast cause how else could he do all his work and keep me from leaving my house to go to town until Pinkie came to visit me...for three days! An entire weekend Too!

Apple Bloom finally huffed and walked out. I so owe her an apology later but you would think she would know when I get pulled away from something I'm cranky. Night was staring at me like I just stabbed him. "What Night?"   he slowly raised his arm and pointed to my door way.    There stood a giant of a man, red as the apples he picked all day.   Oh hell is all i can think...as night jumps out a window and I can hear him running away.

"I'm in deep trouble aren't I?"

"EEYUP!"

'Wait for Pinkie?"

"Eeyup."

"Silence?"

"Eeyup."

"Is it over my argument with Apple Bloom?"

Big Mac stood there and he just looked at me. he didn't nod he didn't shake his head just stood there like a wall or a golem of unending power.   "Come on Big Mac you know you want to give me a huge speech. Come on big bro...what did I do? yell at me."

"Nope"   damn. I have had long heart to hearts with Big Mac but whenever he was mad or acting mad he would be a total wall of unreadable unless he was mad directly at you. which lucky for me has never happened.

The mood had been shot which is why i started to dissemble my other turret ready to build the upgrade just as i got a familiar warm hug.   Pinkie my sister had walked in and immediately showed she cared like she always does but then "So Spaz i hear your working on a new prank for Big Mac's assitant! What is it?"

"Its nothing yet, give me a week and ill have something spectacular!"

"Well I have been asked to stop all pranking on the farm for three weeks.  A new filly is coming into town and she has been being picked on so be nice!"     I just nodded cause I learned a while ago when Pinkie said no pranking she meant it.   "So who is the new girl?"  big mac then chimed in "Babs will be here in one week"

Babs huh...i hope she is cool.
