Princess Celestia looked out her window, down on the city of Canterlot below. It was busy with ponies rushing to get home, to get lunch, to get shopping. The typical afternoon rush. It was rather chaotic, and strangely enticing to Celestia. She frowned. Too chaotic. Waving the notion away, she put down her tea, hearing the hoofsteps of an approaching pony.

"Celestia?"

She turned around in her chair to face the pony. "Yes, Luna?" Her sister was calm, signalling that there was nothing wrong.

"It's time to... go to the funeral." She said.

Celestia sighed. "Right, I'll be on my way." She got out of the chair. Why had she forgotten so quickly? She galloped down the stairwell. The princess puffed. Her sister was waiting downstairs for her. "Wait, so, who's the funeral for?" She asked herself.

Her sister cocked her head and raised an eyebrow, "Don't you remember, sister?". Celestia put a hoof to her mouth. Did she say that aloud? "Nevermind, sister. I remember." It was a royal, wasn't it? She remembered the mare being important to her.

She trotted towards the ceremony grounds, at the edge of the gardens. She could get there faster by flying, but flying into a formal event was frowned upon, as flying was too 'casual' and 'disruptive' to a funeral. No, she would simply trot. She appeared next to Princess Cadence.

"Hello, I haven't seen you in a long time, Cadence." She greeted her. Cadence smiled. "Of course not, I've been away in the crystal empire for the last few years now. But this is a very important event, isn't it?" A tear fell down her cheek. Celestia felt like crying too, as she looked around at the ceremony. She couldn't see the headstone very well, but there wasn't a body. A memorial, then? She reached her head to the right, trying to get a good look at the writing. She broke down into tears suddenly, sobbing.

She looked around and tried to hide her tears. Oh, how had she forgotten? A crackle of thunder was heard. She turned around.

Luna, enraged and in tears, was glowing her horn at Celestia.

"You left me to die! You killed me!"

Celestia choked back a sob. "No, y-you don't understand! I tried to protect you!"

A bolt of magic hit Celestia in the chest and she flew back, and hit her head on something hard.

Celestia woke up, sweating. The ground was hard and cold underneath her.

"Sister! You need to get up!" A voice yelled. She looked around. Luna was next to her, trying to pull her up. Struggling weakly, she managed to get up and have a better look around. They were in a shallow crevasse, and ice was everywhere. A giant storm churned around her, flashing in different colours of lightning and cracking the glacier. "Sister! You need to get your weapon!" She woke up at that moment, summoning Sol, her celestial hammer. Her legs and torso were covered by her battle-armour, and her helmet lay in pieces on the floor.

She flew up after her sister.

"YOU THINK YOU CAN STOP ME NOW? MY POWERS HAVE GROWN, AND NOW I AM FREE!" A deep voice boomed. She tried to point her hammer in the direction of voice, but it seemed to come from all around. Darkness billowed up from giant cracks in the glacier, slowly forcing it apart.

"Luna, how do we stop him now?"

"Draaxoph? Our only hope is to weaken him. The cracks have grown too large to be sealed, we cannot escape, for the storm around us, and we cannot destroy him, for his strength is tenfold that of when we defeated him last."

Celestia bit her lip. This wasn't good.

"Can we make an exit through the top?" She asked. The storm didn't seem to sturdy
