“Ambush?” asked a yellow Pegasus stallion in a blue suit, not looking up from his clipboard.

“Present, sir,” replied a white stallion with a golden mane.

“Nimbleflare?”

“Present, sir,” replied a periwinkle mare, whose mane was considerably frazzled and poofy.

“Hastehoof?”

“Present, sir,” answered a blue, white-maned stallion.

“Soara?”

No answer. The group looked around for any sight of their team companion, but the scan turned up fruitless.

“Stay here,” Flamethrower told his team. ‘What do I pay that filly for?’ he thought impatiently as he flew off to look for Soara.

“Mmm… mrph… dis is some good dessert!” said a blue mare happily through a mouthful of pastry and fruit. Her body’s shade of blue were like the sky on a mildly sunny day. Her mane and tail, on the other hoof, were like Prince Artemis’ night sky. Her colors were currently decorated with raspberries and blackberries she had carelessly spilt on herself while chomping down on a pie.

“Soara.”

She looked up at who had called her name – Flamethrower, her captain, looking down upon her sternly. “Uh, hey there, sir,” she greeted him with a nervous smile, wondering what she had done now.

“Greetings,” said Flamthrower with a twitch of sarcasm. “You know what time half-past eleven means, don’t you Soara?” he asked pointedly.

‘Horseapples,’ thought Soara in realization. ‘I’m late for exercises.’

“Uh, are you sure it’s that time? Maybe your watch is fast,” said Soara innocently, attempting to weasel her way out of it.

Don’t try and pull that on me,” replied Flamethrower, with noticeable irritation in his voice. “It’s time for exercises, not chomping down on pie. We don’t need you getting chubby and having difficulty flying again.”

“Hey, it was that one time ages ago!” protested Soara. “And I still did the show with you, didn’t I?”

“No, your colossal belly weighed you down to the ground,” retorted Flamethrower, fixing his team member’s story. “And a squirrel got trapped under you.”

Soara sighed, getting up off of the cloud she had been sitting down on. “Well, some ponies would appreciate food. It’s essential for survival, and it’s usually pretty good,” she commented, flying off towards the training area.

‘Sometimes I wonder how she got inducted into the team,’ Flamethrower pondered as he went to lead his group.

Come lunch break, the Wonderbolts were pretty exhausted and hungry. So off they went to grab their food and rest themselves.

Flamethrower, meanwhile, was placing the last piece of something he had been working on. A model of the academy. The colors weren’t exactly accurate, but that wasn’t important.

Suddenly, a hoof rapped at the door. He flew over and opened it, and there stood a deliverypony, holding a small box. Obviously the potions he had ordered. After signing for the goods, Flamethrower took the box back into his office.

He examined the instructions. “So, the green one for bigger, and the violet one for smaller,” he murmured. He tested it out by dripping a miniscule drop of the green potion onto a plant.

Just then, the plant shook a bit before it suddenly expanded into a larger form. About 25% its original size.

Flamethrower looked at the potion he held in his hoof. “Interesting…” He grabbed the violet potion and dripped two drops onto the plant. It shook again before shrinking down  to 75% of the size it had been before.

“So they really do work,” he said to himself. And with that, he dropped a teensy drop of the green potion onto himself.

He waited for results, then everything abruptly became 25% taller as he changed size.

Anticipating his plan, Flamethrower stepped onto his desk, holding both potions in hoof. He did some calculations, then poured a small amount of the green potion into the potion-resistant dish that had come in the package for when he was done. Then, he poured several drops of the violet potion onto himself and put it back down.

Then, he felt himself being abruptly compressed and lifted up as he shrunk drastically. He hovered in mid-air before he fell and landed on a hard surface. He picked himself up and saw what it was.

His desk, now fit for a giant in his eyes. He looked up at a stack of paperwork, now as tall as a house in Ponyville. The potions were akin to transparent towers filled with liquid.

And sure enough, his model of the Academy was now the size of the real Academy – which, in turn, would be the size of a country to him. Through the eyes of a regularly-sized pony, the model would just be a nice sight to look at. But for him, just the size of a fly, he could actually fly through and around it.

The very tiny Wonderbolt captain looked up at his creation, grinning like a colt, more than ready to put it to use.

Soara was getting frustrated. Every single eating place was too crowded for her, and she had a hayburger to eat.

She looked to her side at the door to Flamethrower’s office. She bent down and peered through the keyhole to see the room was empty. What was in there, as usual, was a desk, along with a nice, comfortable chair.

‘Door better not be unlocked,’ she thought with a smirk. She turned the handle… and what do you know? The door was unlocked.

Happy to finally have somewhere to eat, she entered the office. Just to eat her hayburger, then she’d be out, and nopony would know she was ever there.

~~~~~~~~~~
Flamethrower heard the door opening for some reason. He looked in its direction to see Soara coming in with a hayburger.
‘What does she think she’s doing?! The one time I forget to lock the door!’ he thought angrily.
~~~~~~~~~~

Soara sat down in Flamethrower’s chair, wiggling around a bit until her behind was comfortable. Jeez, who knew how good this chair was?

Okay – now there needed to be space cleared for her meal. She picked up the stacks of paper and stationery items before addressing the elephant in the room – the model of the Academy on the desk.

She carefully lifted the model off the desk and put it down on the ground. She thought she noticed a few cracks in it that weren’t there before – hopefully Flamethrower wouldn’t notice.

She noticed some peculiar looking bottles filled with two differently-colored substances, and a small container also containing liquid. Unsure of what it was, she picked them all up and placed them on top of a multidrawer before putting a box over it, to avoid ingesting it somehow. She headed back to her boss’ desk, ready to eat. She lifted up the top bun of the hayburger and began to open the ketchup sachet.

~~~~~~~~~~
Flamethrower hoped maybe Soara was just looking for him and she would leave as soon as she didn’t see him. Imagine his fury when she sat down in his chair that only his rear was allowed to plant upon! And if that wasn’t enough, her gargantuan hooves came down upon the desk and started to move things off of it! The paper, the stationery, and the model he had slaved away at for days! He tried yelling, but she didn’t seem to even hear him.
‘Gotta get to that potion,’ he decided. He ran over to the container, but to his horror, the massive blue hooves lifted it away, along with the bottles, and put a box over them, denying him access.
When she sat back down, he flew onto her nose and yelled as loud as he could, desperately trying to get her attention.
~~~~~~~~~~

Soara felt something land on her nose. Going cross-eyed, she made out what appeared to be a yellow bug on her nose.

“Stupid bug,” she muttered, and brought her hoof down towards it.

~~~~~~~~~~
“STUPID BUG,” came the giantess’ booming voice. The voice was much too amplified for Flamethrower’s tiny ears, and he fell over backwards. When he managed to collect himself, he went wide-eyed at the wall of blue drawing closer and closer towards him. He rolled out of the way just in time to avoid getting turned into paste, and managed to flap his wings to stay in mid-air after a short fall from Soara’s muzzle.
~~~~~~~~~~

Soara could see the bug still flying a bit lower, and decided to needed reassurance that her meal would be eaten in peace. She swatted her hoof around at it, eventually knocking it away.

She scanned the room for more bugs as she poured the ketchup over the burger, not paying full attention. Luckily, it had all landed. She smiled, and placed the top bun back on.

~~~~~~~~~~
Flamethrower desperately attempted to dodge Soara’s monstrous hoof, but all of his training hadn’t considered when a pony one-hundred times the size of you was trying to kill you. Eventually, the giant hoof hit him, sending him flying away.
Still in pain, he looked down to find out what he had landed on. It was a brown, bumpy surface. It felt oddly similar to –
Some kind of thick goo fell on top of him. He managed to swim his way out, only to see a beige-colored wall heading straight for him. It eventually landed, and felt very soft.
Flamethrower quickly realized with tremendous dread that he was trapped inside Soara’s hayburger. He desperately attempted to escape, but the sandwich was assembled too tightly.
~~~~~~~~~~

Soara brought the hayburger closer to her hungry mouth and took the first bite. “Mmhmm…” she said through her mouthful, which she was chewing up. She then swallowed it.

~~~~~~~~~~
Flamethrower could feel the hayburger he was trapped inside being lifted up, then the area he was in was torn away from the rest of it by a neatly-arranged set of sharp, white boulders – Soara’s teeth. Was the biggest worry on his mind? His model? That one of his underlings had made herself at home in his office? No – it was the fact that this goddess was going to have him for a snack.
The smaller portion of the hayburger he was in started to come apart – he knew he had to act now. He flew out of his sandwiched prison and fought for his life to stay clear of both the teeth, and the food they were munching (the soundwaves of Soara's booming mumblings of enjoyment didn't help) then the tongue inside the warm, wet cavern sent him tumbling down Soara’s throat.
He soon ended up in a pink, squishy pipe. The wall was wavy, squeezing him to send him sliding down very quickly. This must have been the esophagus.
Then, after approximately two or three seconds, the pipe suddenly got a lot wider, causing him to drop down and land in an oddly-shaped room with fleshy walls. This must be the stomach.
As if he wasn’t grossed out enough, a giant helping of Soara’s hayburger, mushed up with her gooey saliva, was dumped down onto him.
All he had to do now was fly back up and get the attention of somepony with a thinner skull. He flapped his wings… but the only result was him grabbing his wings and making “Gah!” noises. Soara’s hoof had injured his wings beyond functionality.
That meant flying was off the list of solutions.
A drawing realization impended upon Flamethrower: Soara’s stomach, like all functional stomachs, would digest its contents. The hayburger pieces would get broken down, and so would he.
There was a way out, however. Not saying it was pleasant. But anything was better than being digested.
He struggled to traverse the 'floor'. It was uneven, squishy, and slippery, causing him to trip over a couple times.
He went head-first down into the hole leading to the small intestine. His rump wiggled and his hind legs flailed as he tried to get down. He eventually succeeded, and was now on his way down. If things went according to plan, he was going to get out and be alright.
Soara however, when he got around to dealing with her, wouldn’t be.
