Equestria's Guard. A proud, elite Defense Force that traces its roots all the way back to the Lunar Rebellion. Members of all walks of life serve in Equestria's defense. Their pasts do not matter, but those long since passed do not heed these same rules when they haunt the minds of those who had been left behind.

The Canterlot Courts. A cutthroat collective of the most powerful Equines plus one, in Equestria. Some seek to further their goals, others still remember why they fight. The "Plus One" realizes both.

An Ambassador and a Guard. In her eyes, she was, is and forever shall be a simple Guard. In his eyes, a chance to fight against that of which poisoned his home.

Both wear masks to achieve their wishes because the pain underneath, the pain that they cannot bare themselves, is still raw and sharp. Both will come to find their absolution in each other.
