Violet's New Life, Season 1

Violet Rain was a pretty normal pony.

She had lived a regular life. She was a blue unicorn with wavy magenta hair who grew up in Canterlot with her parents and her big sister, Tomato Vine. You might think she was a fancy pony who thought she was all that and a bag of chips, but she grew up near the edge, on a farm. Her parents were gardeners, so Violet had learned the ways of a farmer. She never liked it, though. That’s why her cutie mark was of a paint brush instead of a tomato or anything else farm-like.

When she was growing up, she never really had any friends to play with. Her sister was more into farming, so she spent most of her time planting vegetables and cooking up new recipes. Tomato never had the time to play with her sister. Violet did have one friend, Sugar Coat, who lived across from Violet Rain, who ended up being her best friend, but Sugar was always traveling to different places. Sugar Coat had four other siblings, and her parents wanted them to see all of Equestria. Multiple times.

So Violet Rain took up drawing to get rid of her boredom. At first it was just sketching lightly on her notepad, but soon it turned into bigger things, like buying an easel. Violet didn’t just paint, even though that’s what her cutie mark said. She liked drawing in general. But the majority was, in fact, painting. She got her cutie mark right before she ended filly school.

Violet did go to a normal school, even though she lived pretty far away from the city. She went to a barn school, which is pretty much what it is called---a school in a barn. It was kind of far from her house, and they didn’t have school buses, so she woke up at 6:30 every morning to go to school.

When she got into her teen years, she got a couple jobs in the city. One was at Mane-Donalds, and the other was at Starpony. She also had a small babysitting career, so she knew a thing or two about babies.

And this was basically her life. But now she’s old enough to move out.

And now starts her NEW life.
