Rainbow's Curse
Chapter Four
Previous ChapterNext Chapter"What is it, Rainbow?" asked Twilight, fumbling around for the light switch. "I heard you scream.” She had bed-head which left her mane in a frazzled mess, but she seemed alert nonetheless.
"Aw wo'up an... Uh, Pathifia', pweath?" Rainbow requested, fed up with trying to talk while the pacifier was filling up her mouth, the annoying impulse to suckle it growing more frustrating than ever.
Twilight's horn began to glow, giving off a dim light so she could find the actual overhead light switch. "Just a moment," she said, finding the switch and flipping on the lights. Turning to Rainbow Dash, she prepared to take out the pacifier for her. "Now, what's the iss... issue... Oh."
Rainbow Dash nodded, looking a little exasperated and incredibly embarrassed as Twilight glanced over the newest addition to Rainbow's wardrobe. It looked quite like a typical, everyday onesie that a filly might wear, with short sleeves on her forelegs and the bottom wrapping around her diaper and buttoning in place between her legs. Obviously it was scaled up to Rainbow Dash's size, and the color was a darker blue that matched her coat while providing a little contrast. As a final touch, each side had a depiction of a rattle and a teddy bear, just in case it wasn't clear that the design was meant for an infant.
"This was starting to get annoying. It's not even a good prank!" Rainbow Dash complained, trotting in place.
Twilight sighed, shaking her head. Rainbow seemed pretty anxious, she clearly needed a little reassurance. "Don't worry. We'll get this fixed tomorrow. Right now, I just need to get some sleep." She yawned, emphasizing how tired she felt.
"Okay..." Rainbow agreed, pausing for a second before she added, blushing, "Uh... Could you give me a change before you get back to sleep?"
Twilight sighed, but tried not to look too annoyed. "Fine," she said, nodding. "Lie down, I'll get you cleaned up."
Rainbow Dash nodded, but then stopped before obeying. "I haven't, well, gone yet..." She explained. She felt cramped and needed to badly, but it was difficult to overcome her potty training and years of habit.
"Well, get it over with then," Twilight Sparkle recommended, yawning. She had been starting to dream when Rainbow woke her, and the unicorn was too tired to deal with this right now.
Again, Rainbow Dash nodded, stopping a moment later. "Can you turn around? I can't go if you're watching," she asked awkwardly.
Twilight groaned but did as Rainbow asked, spinning around and waiting. Rainbow Dash closed her eyes, concentrated, and pushed, but despite her best efforts she couldn't convince her body that it was okay to crap herself. A few painfully awkward moments went by, and she bit her lip. The cramping felt worse, but her diaper was still annoyingly clean.
"Well?" Twilight asked, after a moment.
"I'm, uh, having trouble..." admitted Rainbow Dash.
A second went by, and then Twilight had an idea. "Here," she said, her horn lighting up with an identical glow peeking out from behind the flap on the crotch of the onesie.
"Wh-what are you doing?" Rainbow asked nervously.
"You don't need a change, so if I try and take off your diaper, you'll need to go more badly," Twilight explained, taking a little of her concentration and making the glow of her horn dim a bit. "I'm just going to cast a quick teleportation spell on the diaper. Either it'll appear at the city dump or you'll have your accident and I can get you cleaned up." Focusing again, her horn began glowing bright once more.
Considering it, Rainbow Dash said, "Uh, okay..."
She wasn't sure she was a fan of that idea, but she couldn't see any problems with it other than the fact that it ended with her crapping herself, which she had been trying to do anyways. Standing there with her hind legs crossed, she was about to ask how long it would take when she felt her diaper disappear for a fraction of a second before returning back beneath the onesie. It wasn't the same, though: It felt far thicker than before, the extra bulk shoving Rainbow's hind legs apart and dropping her into a sitting position as she lost her hoofing. It felt as though there were two or three diapers taped up inside the onesie rather than just one, just going by the bulk. This wasn't a big deal, though, since she'd be changed soon anyways.
It took another brief moment before the rest of the spell's effects kicked in, and she felt a much stronger cramp, quickly losing the control she had been trying to rid herself of for the past couple minutes anyways. Her tail hiked up, bowels pushing of their own accord, and the seat of the huge, fluffy diaper filled up with muck. The spell had apparently filled her up more than dinner, though, and it was half a minute of her sitting, biting her lip and avoiding eye contact with Twilight as the back of the diaper managed to gain a visible bulge in spite of its already cartoonish size, the warm mass making the diaper sag a bit, only held back by the onesie keeping everything in place. She felt a slight tingling between the legs but ignored it, Twilight was in the room and she didn’t want to sink that low one way or another.
Once everything was done, Rainbow got back to her hooves shakily. Her hind legs were spread wide apart, making it hard to stand on them and making her knees wobble, and the diaper felt heavy enough that it threatened to make her fall on her rump again. Twilight had levitated over a closepin for herself at some point during Rainbow's mess, and she tried to smile encouragingly in spite of the gross task ahead of her.
"Well, let's get you cleaned up," The unicorn said, feigning enthusiasm. The diaper pail she had summoned would be barely large enough to hold the diaper, and she wasn't looking forward to cleaning it up, even with magic.
"Yeah..." Rainbow said, sitting down, blushing as the squish made her shiver, and then lying back on the changing table. She was glad to have Twilight's help, but the immense bulk between her flanks still made her feel humiliatingly juvenile, and knowing that the accident had been on purpose wasn't helping much. Looking to Twilight expectantly, she tried to hold her breath.
Twilight Sparkle wrinkled her nose in anticipation as she reached out with her magic, taking the bright metal snaps on the onesie to yank them off so she could get at the diaper. In an unfortunate trend of late, though, they didn't budge. Tired and not thinking about the consequences, Twilight added a little juice to the spell, yanking harder at the buttons in case they were simply stuck, struggling to remove them so she could get Rainbow into a clean diaper.
"What's taking so long?" Rainbow Dash asked, curious why Twilight was taking so long on the first step until she felt her bladder start to suddenly fill up, her bowels grow crampy again, saw the magic glow hovering without effect on the onesie's snaps, and her eyes went wide. "You have GOT to be kidding me!" As Twilight’s horn continued to glow, though, she felt her bladder fill to the point where she lost control again, feeling her bladder give way as the urine spilled around the diaper’s other contents to get to the padding where it absorbed, making the diaper get a little heavier still. It was probably good that the diaper had grown in size when Twilight tried to teleport it earlier, since otherwise it would almost definitely have leaked.
“St-stop!” Rainbow yelled, before she would be forced to mess the diaper again. Her need to go wasn’t nearly as bad as it had been before she had gone when Twilight finally realized what she was doing and stopped, but it was definitely noticeable.
“I’m sorry,” Twilight said, quickly cutting off the magic. “H-how do you feel?”
“Crappy,” Rainbow Dash punned. “How d’you think I feel?”
“I’m sorry, Rainbow,” Twilight said, almost sounding ashamed at being unable to help her friend. “But I can’t figure this out right now, I’m dead on my hooves. Can you wait until morning to get changed?”
Shrugging, Rainbow said, “Do I have a choice? I definitely can’t sleep with this thing on.”
“Sorry,” Twilight said again. “I’ll get up really early and we can go find out what happened at the party right away, find the counter-spell, and get you changed as fast as possible.”
Not seeing much of a choice, Rainbow Dash nodded. “Fine,” she said, starting to sit up and feeling her diaper squelch between her legs, making her blush again. Maybe having a little time alone in the diaper would have one advantage…
As she headed to the door, Twilight paused. “Want me to get a fan pointed out the window?” She asked, thinking it would help with the smell. The pegasus nodded, and Twilight’s horn started to glow. A small metal fan hovered in, plugged itself into the wall, and whirred to life blowing at the window.
“Thanks,” Rainbow Dash said, feeling grateful. Twilight wasn’t proving to be as magically inclined as she had hoped, but the unicorn was being considerate and helpful where she could.
“Oh, and real quick,” Twilight added, her horn glowing briefly as she cast one more spell before turning and heading to bed before Rainbow Dash could ask what the spell had done.
As the door shut and Rainbow’s pacifier popped between her lips once again, she slumped back into a sitting position, sinking into the diaper like a small-ish beanbag chair, trying to decide if she wanted to cry, sleep, or experiment with squishing on the crotch of the diaper. Whichever option she wanted to do, though, it seemed like a good idea to get back in bed, so she struggled back to her hooves and crawled back under the covers.
When she rolled onto the mattress, though, she heard a plasticy crinkle that didn’t come from her diaper. Confused, she looked up for a second before realizing that the bedsheets had been turned into plastic. ‘So that’s what Twilight was doing,’ she realized, trying to decide if she should feel annoyed or just glad that she wouldn’t ruin the bed.
Staring at the ceiling, feeling a confused mix of emotions. One forehoof drifted down towards the diaper as she lay there, though, and she gave a tentative push into the front of the diaper, making the plastic back crinkle as she felt the mess squish against her. She would have gasped if the pacifier hadn’t been placed immutably in her mouth, but it still made her eyes cross slightly as she felt a wave of pleasure go up her spine. She hadn’t had any time alone for ‘Solo practice’ since before the Hearth’s Warming Eve party, and she was beginning to feel it. Pushing against the diaper again, she shuddered and reminded herself to stay quiet before remembering the pacifier would do that for her.
‘No, stop, what the heck am I doing?’ A little voice shouted, in the back of her head. ‘Do I realize how gross this is? I’m trying to jill off into a diaper! A messy diaper!’ Groaning, she briefly wished that the voice in her head wasn’t making sense.
‘Come on,’ she told herself. ‘It’s no big-’
‘It’s so UN-COOL,’ the voice insisted. ‘I’m not going to do something that gross.’
‘Pleeeeaaase..’
‘No way!’
‘Nopony will ever know, and it’s not like this will be a regular thing!’
‘Well… I guess that makes sense, if- Wait, no! Not going to happen. I’m going to get to sleep, and tomorrow we’ll figure out the counterspell, go home, and clop off to Daring Do slash-fiction like normal ponies.’
‘Fine...’ She decided, rolling her eyes and pulling her hoof away, rolling over in bed, and trying to get some sleep.
When she heard Twilight coming down the steps, and when she heard the knock on the door, Rainbow groaned. She had gotten little sleep the night before: She tossed and turned in bed when she tried to lie down, she slipped backwards and landed on her padded butt when she tried to pace on the ground, and she ran out of room and got frustrated when she tried to pace in the air.
"Rainbow Dash!" Twilight's annoyingly cheery voice rang out. She didn't really sound that upbeat, but to Rainbow Dash's sleep-deprived brain, anything more singsong than a dry monotone giving a speech about rocks was going to seem grating and annoying. "Time to get up, we've got a lot of research to do today!"
As the purple unicorn opened the door, she received a pillow to the face as Rainbow Dash groaned in annoyance. Twilight quirked an eyebrow, but didn't say anything until Rainbow finally rolled out of bed, getting to her hooves and seeming to smile for a fraction of a second as her diaper made a 'Squish' noise before a more annoyed and uncomfortable expression replaced it. Taking a second to levitate the pacifier out of Rainbow's mouth, Twilight waited to hear what she had to said.
"What are we even going to do today?" Rainbow complained, as Twilight picked up the pillow with her horn and floated it back to the bed, trying not to make a face at the smell which had permeated the room in the few hours she had been asleep. Moving her tongue about her mouth to try and deal with the sudden dry mouth caused by the removal of her pacifier, Rainbow said, "We tried science, we tried reading, what the heck else can you do?"
"Investigation!" Twilight declared, trying to remain optimistic despite her pegasus friend's rather gloomy outlook. "We know that you were... Afflicted, we'll say, right after the Hearth's Warming Eve celebration, so whatever happened, I'm sure we can track down whatever caused this if we ask around with ponies we know!"
"Wait," Rainbow said, rubbing her forehead with a hoof and trying to think straight. "You expect me, stuck wearing this, to go trotting all up and down town asking ponies if they remember anything from the party?"
"No, no," Twilight said, shaking her head before pausing uncertainly. Her horn glowed for a moment, and after a second a clothes pin flew in, clipping over her nose. When she spoke again it was with a nasally tone, but she tried to ignore it. "Rarity and Pinkie Pie already know, and we can trust Applejack and Fluttershy to keep the secret. They're our closest friends! I thought you could head out to Sweet Apple Acres and ask AJ what she remembers while I go talk to Fluttershy. Split up, deal with this twice as fast!" She smiled reassuringly, and Rainbow Dash couldn't decide if it was endearing or naive.
"You really think that will work?" She asked, flapping her wings to take to the sky as it were, at least to get off the ground. In the air, the diaper at least wouldn't make her waddle when she walked, and with the onesie holding everything in place and keeping the diaper from sagging, it almost looked like she hadn't crapped herself. Almost. If you didn't look to close. She hoped.
"Sure," Twilight said. "If we can find out what caused this, it'll make finding the counterspell or cure much easier!"
Rainbow shrugged, sounding unsure but not wanting to argue. If Twilight thought it would work, it was at least worth a shot. And Sweet Apple Acres was pretty secluded as far as Ponyville institutions went, if Rainbow could take off from the library and not slow down until she got there, nopony would even notice if she was extremely lucky.
"Right," she said, feeling her hindquarters start to itch uncomfortably once again. Unable to scratch without simply pushing around the seat of the diaper, she grimaced and tried to ignore it. "So... I'll just go do that, then?"
Twilight nodded, but added, "Unless you wanted to have some breakfast first, but I can see why you wouldn't."
"Right..." Rainbow Dash doubted she could stomach much with the smell of manure floating around her, so she just stretched her wings and hovered out into the library proper, quickly moving towards the balcony. "Just meet me there, okay? I don't want to have to sneak back into town." Rubbing her eyes and yawning, she waited a second for Twilight to agree to the meeting place, before heading out the window. A blue streak, surely nopony would see the bulge held barely in place by a onesie between her legs. Maybe they'd mistake the foalish clothes for a flight suit. Maybe the other pegasi wouldn't notice a lingering smell. Back in the sky for the first time in what felt like years, Rainbow couldn't help but smile. She was on a mission. "No stupid curse can stop me!" She told herself aloud. "I'm Rainbow D. Dash, and the D is for darMmpphhp!" Her self-motivating speech was cut off as her pacifier reappeared between her lips. Rolling her eyes, she pushed for top speed, compensating for the extra weight between her hind legs, and made a beeline towards Sweet Apple Acres.
As early as she and Twilight had gotten up, it seemed like Applejack had gotten up earlier. Just as she always seemed to be doing, she was out in an apple grove, though without leaves nor fruit on the trees it seemed like a pointless endeavor to Rainbow. Seeing the blue streak in the sky, Applejack looked up, waving at Rainbow Dash as the pegasus approached.
Just before they could exchange the usual 'Heya Applejack, Howdy Rainbow,' greetings that seemed trademarked to the two ponies, though, Applejack noticed the matter at hoof. "Uh... Rainbow Dash?" She asked in confusion as the pegasus landed. "Wha're you wearin' a used diaper?"
Rainbow blushed a bit at AJ's reaction, glancing around to make sure nopony was in the vicinity, but it was just them, the cold, and the trees. For once, Rainbow was a little grateful for the onesie since it was actually pretty warm, but on the other hoof the contents of her diaper were starting to get a little clammy, which made things that much more uncomfortable, and the itch that wouldn't go away had started to turn into a sting. Rainbow Dash knew far too little about foal raising to know what Diaper Rash was, but even without knowing she had the common sense to know that the muck clinging to her flanks and thighs probably had something to do with the growing discomfort.
Right, AJ was standing there looking confused and looking for an explanation. Clearing her throat, Rainbow Dash gestured to the pacifier and mumbled, "Pathfaw, cn'taktaht."
"Wha'?" Applejack asked, confused. "This some sorta dare, Rainbow Dash? Did yah lose a bet to Pinkie Pie?"
"Annadyatowamovedapalthafawah," Rainbow Dash explained again, gestured heavily towards the embarrassingly juvenile device stuck between her lips, all the speech making a bit of drool run down her chin.
To Rainbow's annoyance, though, Applejack didn't seem to get it. "Look, Rainbow Dash, ah don't care what you're up to right now but ah gotta inspect all these trees tah make sure we ain't got no problems come spring. If yah'll are jus' gonna make foal talk n' stink up the farm, ah'd appreciate it if you got outta my mane."
Rainbow Dash groaned, rubbing her head with a hoof and trying to think of what to do. After a second an idea came to her, and she drew with her hoof a brief message in the dirt. Her hoofwriting was awful, but it was clear enough. 'I can't takeout pacifier u need 2,' it read, short and to the point. Applejack at least trotted over to read it and, deciding to humor Rainbow, reached up and yanked the object from the rainbow pegasus's mouth.
"Now what 'n the hay is goin' on?" She asked, getting a little annoyed. Rainbow Dash took a breath, her mouth feeling dry but blissfully free to talk.
"It's kinda a long story," Rainbow said, moving her tongue around in her mouth and trying to act casual.
"Really?" Applejack asked, sounding skeptical.
Sighing, Rainbow Dash shrugged. "When I woke up a couple days ago, right after the Hearth's Warming Eve party-" She heard a noise, and her head jerked to look at what it was. A branch falling from a tree, apparently. "Uh, where was I?"
"The party," Applejack filled in, sounding a little impatient.
"Right, yeah. So when I woke up the next day, I was wearing a diaper, and it's cursed or somethin' cause it won't come off."
Raising an eyebrow, Applejack's demeanor shifted slightly away from annoyance. "You ask Twi' about this? She's gonna know a lot more 'bout curses than ah will."
"Yeah," Rainbow Dash said. "We've been trying to figure something out, but her books don't say anything about a, uh, diaper curse."
"So the getup, that's your attempt to hide everythin'? 'Cause it's really not workin," Applejack pointed out.
"No, it's cursed too," Rainbow Dash explained, hoping this didn't all sound as stupid as she thought it did. "Twilight figured out-" Another noise, and again Rainbow Dash jumped. She couldn't stand the thought of anypony seeing her like this. But, again, it was nothing. "Um, Twilight realized that she could take off the diapers as long as she, uh..." Blushing, she forced out the words, "Changed me... But if I try and take them off or if she doesn't... change me into a clean diaper, it just makes me need to go more. But last night, I woke up and the onesie was on and we can't get it to come off at all."
Applejack listened to it all, seeming skeptical, but at least she was willing to hear Rainbow Dash out. "Okay..." She said, finally. "And what 'xactly do yall need me for?"
"Well," Rainbow Dash said, finally getting to the reason for her visit. "Since this all started right after the Hearth's Warming Eve party, Twilight thought it maybe started there, and so we're going around asking ponies if they noticed anything that might cause, uh... This." Hearing the wind rustle through the trees, she jumped behind a tree to hide before realizing nopony had made the sound.
"Jumpy, aren'cha?" Applejack commented, waving a hoof in front of her nose to help combat the smell. "Ain't nopony out here 'cept you and me. Apple Bloom's gonna be asleep for another hour 'n Big Macintosh is on the other side of the farm." She paused to consider the party, though, remembering back to the party and trying to recollect what had been going on. "Ah don't remember anythin' suspicious. I didn't see anypony goin' around castin' curses on ponies, at least."
Rainbow Dash was a little disappointed, but there was still a chance that Fluttershy knew something, maybe even Rarity or Pinkie Pie. Still, it didn't hurt to ask a few more questions. Starting to sit down and immediately regretting it as her sagging diaper squished against her rump, feeling both really uncomfortable and pretty great all at once. Blushing, she quickly hopped back to her feet, swallowing to try and help the uncomfortable dry mouth experience. "Well... Do you remember if anypony seemed particularly interested in messing with me?" She asked, trying to get back on topic.
"Uh... No, but wouldn't yall be the one to notice that? Ah know you're unobservant, but if somepony's followin' you around, I think you'd be tha’ one who'd be able to tell."
"Uh... Yeah, I didn't notice anything," Rainbow Dash agreed. "But I was all over the place, so-" There was another noise, one that absolutely had to be hoofsteps, and in a rush to stay unseen she zipped into the tree, hiding in the branches. Without leaves it wasn't particularly useful, but it was better than nothing.
"Would ya' get down from there?" Applejack asked, a little exasperated. "You're hearin' things, Rainbow Dash, nopony's around here!"
"I'm not gonna come down until I'm sure of that!" Rainbow countered, looking around with urgency, which looked rather ridiculous with her onesie and overfull diaper making everything she did seem comical.
"You're bein' paranoid!" Applejack insisted. "And I gotta inspect this tree, which ah won't be able to do if it smells like your dirty diapers!"
"Hey!" Rainbow Dash protested, a little insulted. "I can't do anything about that, this onesie won't come off!"
"Get down from there," Applejack insisted, bucking the tree to jostle Rainbow off her branch. It worked, and Rainbow tumbled from the tree.
"Aaah!" She yelped, landing on the seat of the onesie. Even with the extra padding provided by the diaper and its... Contents, the landing hurt. Especially since Rainbow Dash's flanks were already starting to sting, the landing was pretty painful. Eyes starting to water, Rainbow bit down on her tongue to deal with the pain, not wanting to start crying on top of everything else. Even as much as it hurt, though, feeling all of her weight slam into the mushy contents of the diaper felt freaking awesome, enough to make her breath in sharply and blush a little bit, hoping Applejack wouldn't notice the side effect of the fall. She wasn’t sure, but it felt like the good feelings when the diaper got smooshed were growing in intensity the longer she went without a change. "Not cool!"
"Yeah, sure," Applejack said, looking pretty annoyed. "Ah thought you said that you couldn't change your diaper on account of the onesie. Ah don't appreciate bein' lied to, Rainbow."
"What?" Rainbow Dash asked, confused. "It's the truth! The buttons are stuck or something."
"Really," Applejack said, eyes narrowed slightly. "Yall expect me to believe that?"
"Yeah!" Rainbow Dash said, getting to her hooves and gesturing towards her crotch to make her point, all the while keeping eye contact with Applejack. She wasn't about to back down, being called a liar wasn't something she appreciated. "Why wouldn't you?"
"'Cause the buttons came undone a minute ago," Applejack said, rolling her eyes.
That caught the pegasus off guard. "Wh-what?" She asked, looking between her legs. Sure enough, the flap on the onesie had come undone and was dangling open, her diaper bulging out of the opening now that it wasn't being held in place. She grinned, it must have simply been made to open after she'd been wearing it a while. "I, uh, gotta go find Twilight!" She said, grinning as she took to the sky.
"Uh, okay?" Applejack said, seeming a little disconcerted by the whole encounter. It was a little surreal, after all, Rainbow couldn't blame her. "Ah'll see you later, ah suppose?"
"Later!" Rainbow Dash agreed, before vanishing into a blue streak, leaving nothing behind but a smelly odor which lingered in the orchard. It wasn't too far between Sweet Apple Acres and Fluttershy's cottage, and Twilight's walk was so much slower than Rainbow's flying that she managed to cut off the unicorn before she even reached her destination.
"Twilight!" Rainbow called out, landing as she saw her friend. Despite the difficulty staying upright she stood anyways, not wanting to sit down in the diaper and end up moaning in front of Twilight. "Great news! The snaps on the onesie came loose! I can finally change out of this stupid thing!"
She landed, beaming as Twilight looked at her with a confused expression. Leaning slightly to take a look at Rainbow's hindquarters, she said, "Uh... No, they didn't."
"What?" Rainbow Dash asked, looking again. Sure enough, the snaps were back in place. "Wh-what? You are kidding me! They were free just a minute ago!"
Twilight sighed, glancing over to Fluttershy's cottage a few hundred yards away before returning her focus to Rainbow Dash. She momentarily wished she had brought along that clothes pin, before thinking more productive things. "Well, maybe you triggered part of the curse or something. Did you do anything unusual?"
"I, uh, hid in a tree?" Rainbow Dash suggested.
Shaking her head, Twilight said, "No, if that did it then you wouldn't have had any trouble in the library. It's inside a tree, remember?"
Blushing, Rainbow said, "Uh, yeah. Right. I also fell on my butt, but that's it. The rest of the time I was just talking to Applejack."
Twilight considered it for a minute, thinking about what the fall would have to do with things. Having a thought, she smirked as she realized what the issue was, stifling a giggle.
Rainbow Dash, of course, didn't like being giggled at and blushed. "What? What is it?" She asked defensively.
“Just… Hold still, I have an idea how to get you out of there,” Twilight said, her horn starting to glow.
Rainbow checked, but nowhere on the onesie was there any sign of magic. “Uh, what are you doing?” She asked, getting a little worried. If Twilight cast a spell on her that failed, her diaper would get so heavy she wouldn’t even be able to stand, much less fly.
“Just hold still,” Twilight said, putting a hoof to her mouth as she snickered.
“Why, what-” Rainbow Dash jolted as she felt something smack against her flanks, three times in rapid succession. She yelped, jumping into the air and reaching to rub her stinging plot with her hooves before remembering that she’d just be rubbing the seat of the diaper. “What in the hay was that for?” She asked, seeing a stick levitating in the air, held by Twilight’s magic.
“Look,” Twilight said, gesturing towards Rainbow’s crotch with a hoof. Rainbow looked down. The onesie’s flap hung open, buttons undone.
“But… How… Awesome!” Rainbow Dash finally said, somehow grinning and frowning at the same time. “Wait, what? You have to smack me in the butt every time I need a diaper change? That’s so stupid!”
Twilight couldn’t help but smirk. “Technically, it’s called a spanking,” She pointed out, leaving Rainbow Dash to blink.
“This curse sucks!’ The pegasus said, finally landing.
“We’ll get it figured out,” Twilight promised, horn glowing as she summoned the necessary changing supplies. “Lie down, okay?”
“What, here?” Rainbow asked, looking around. There were no ponies around, but they were outside and really freakin’ public.
“If we go somewhere else, I’ll have to undo the onesie again,” Twilight pointed out. Sighing, Rainbow Dash realized she had a point.
Lying down on the pad as Twilight summoned it, Rainbow just stared at the sky as Twilight got her business done. The unicorn was was getting better and better at cleaning up diapers, even with the excess work Twilight had to do cleaning up a mess that had been stewing overnight. As she got everything wiped up, though, tossing the diaper and wipes in the summoned pail, Twilight recoiled.
“Er… Rainbow, I think you’re getting diaper rash,” she said. “Just a second?”
“Sure, but what are you doing?” Rainbow asked, looking up for a moment.
With a pop, Twilight made a bottle of something appear in her hoof, squirting a glob of some kind of lotion into a hoof. “Rash cream,” she explained, gingerly applying the lotion to Rainbow’s flanks. This was the first time there had been any hoofs-on contact during a diaper change, and both Rainbow and Twilight blushed their way through it while the cream was smeared in place.
As soon as that was done, Twilight slid a fresh diaper into place, taped it up, and before Rainbow could even sit up the onesie’s buttons shot up, snapping in place over the diaper.
“Did you find anything out when you talked to Applejack?” Twilight asked, as Rainbow Dash got to her hooves.
“Not really,” Rainbow replied, shrugging. “But AJ was a bit of a long shot anyways, she’s not exactly the most social pony ever.”
“That’s true,” Twilight said, frowning in thought, “Not that Fluttershy will be much better. You want me to handle this while you get some rest? You look pretty beat.”
Considering it, Rainbow Dash nodded. She hadn’t slept much the night before, and now that she was cleaned up she was probably going to be able to get some rest. “I’ll see you back at the library, okay?”
Smiling, Twilight said, “Of course. As soon as I find something out, I’ll come let you know.”
“Sweet,” Rainbow said, hopping into the sky with a flap of her wings. “Catch you later!” She was feeling a lot better, with no embarrassing mass between her thighs and no repulsive smell lingering in the air. Once she got some rest, Twilight would have the cure and this whole debacle would be over with.
Taking flight, she picked up her pace enough that her onesie wouldn’t be easily identifiable. She passed a couple pegasi in the air, but none payed much attention to Rainbow Dash, assuming she was simply practicing or training for one stunt or another. She was getting better at flying with her legs bowed out and a little bulk throwing off her direction, and so when she dove down towards the library she managed to zip in through the second story window without much trouble. Rolling into the bed, she curled up beneath the blankets and smiled.
Things were going to be okay.
Heh heh heh. Well, at least the spell works. Serves her right for getting in my way.
