Chapters It was Friday afternoon in Ponyville and like every Friday, Fluttershy was preparing for Rarity to come over for tea. Things were different this time though as she was working much harder on getting her cottage spotless. Her animals could tell that she was more frantic than normal and her birds began to chirp at her. They were asking her why she was so frantic in her cleaning. She replied, "Rarity is coming over this afternoon and I need to make sure everything is perfect."
Her animals knew how she usually was when Rarity would come over but she had never behaved like this before, she had never been so paranoid. A raccoon was asking her why she was so frantic. She replied, "Well, um, you see, this is special." Her animals were asking why it was so different. She replied, "Well I want Rarity to be impressed. I don't want her thinking that I am a bad housekeeper."
Before her animals could ask her anything else there was a knock on her door. Fluttershy opened the door and there was Rarity. Rarity greeted her like she always does, "Hello darling! How is your afternoon treating you?"
Fluttershy replied, "Well, it is going ok. Come in."
Rarity walked in and noticed that Fluttershy's cottage was MUCH cleaner than normal. She asked, "Fluttershy, I know you like to keep your house clean but I've never seen it this clean." She hugged Fluttershy and continued, "You don't have to clean it this much just for our afternoon tea."
When Rarity hugged her, Fluttershy's heart skipped a beat. For a long time she had been able to keep her secret feelings for the unicorn hidden, but here lately it had been becoming harder and harder for her to do so. Rarity felt her tense up a bit and asked, "Fluttershy darling, why are you so tense? Are you nervous about something?"
Fluttershy replied, "No. I just have a lot of tension in my shoulders."
Rarity began to massage her shoulders to relieve the tension. The thing that Rarity did not know though was that Fluttershy lied to her. She had no tension in her shoulders, she just wanted to feel Rarity's hooves massaging her. After a few minutes of massaging her friend, the two sat down for tea.
They began to talk about various, ordinary things such as how Twilight seemed to be studying more than normal and how Rainbow was being a bit arrogant leading up to a race in Cloudsdale. Fluttershy knew that the pegasus ponies had planned a thunderstorm for late that evening and overnight so she decided that maybe she could spend some extra time with the one she wants so badly. She asked, "Rarity, if you don't mind me asking, do you have any plans for tonight?"
Rarity replied, "All I'm going to do tonight is get into some silk pajamas and rest. With as busy as I have been lately I feel like I've earned it."
Fluttershy asked, "What about Sweetie Belle? Will she allow you to rest?"
Rarity smiled and replied, "Oh I don't have to worry about her. After school she is heading over to Sweet Apple Acres with her friends for the whole weekend, so I'll be alone." She stretched her hooves out and continued, "Oh it will be so nice! I can't wait."
Fluttershy's face dropped as she said, "Oh, ok. That sounds fun."
Rarity asked, "Fluttershy, you seem so sad, what is wrong?"
Fluttershy replied, "Oh, it's nothing important. You probably would have said no anyway."
Rarity asked, "Fluttershy, what is it? What would I have said no to anyway?"
Fluttershy truly thought that Rarity would say no but decided to ask anyway. "Rarity, um if it would be ok with you, do you think that I could come over and join you for supper."
This shocked Rarity as normally Fluttershy wouldn't even ask anything like that, that normally she would have to be dragged by her tail to something like this. Rarity happily replied, "Of course you can come! It will be nice to have somepony other than Sweetie Belle eating supper with me."
Fluttershy was ecstatic but she knew that she couldn't just go jumping around the room the way Pinkie would over any little thing. She smiled and asked, "So when do you want me to come over, five or six?"
Rarity replied, "Well since Sweetie Belle will be heading straight over to the farm after school you could just accompany me home now. After all, you are my best friend and I could never spend too much time with you."
Fluttershy had a huge grin on her face as she asked, "Really? You really think of me as your best friend?"
Rarity replied, "Of course I do darling. While I'm close with all of our friends, I feel like I can relate with you better. You're so graceful, you care about everypony and you're sweet." She lowered her voice and whispered into her ear, "Don't tell anypony though, I don't want them getting mad."
Fluttershy replied, "I want you to know, if that is ok with you, that you're the one I'm closest to as well. You're generous, you're elegant and you're so beauti........" Fluttershy caught herself realizing that she may have blown her cover. She lowered her voice and continued, "Don't worry, I won't tell anypony."
While Rarity found it odd that Fluttershy would stop in mid-sentence, she didn't really think much about it. After they finished their tea they headed towards The Carousel Boutique. While Rarity was expecting a nice supper and some quiet, relaxing conversation with her friend that night, Fluttershy was hoping for more. She was hoping that the nasty thunderstorm the pegasi had planned would force her to stay with Rarity and hoping that things would get romantic.
Supper at Rarity's
After having their afternoon tea Fluttershy and Rarity headed towards the Carousel Boutique. Fluttershy couldn't help but walk a bit behind Rarity, not because she felt like she had to, it was because she wanted to. She was mesmerized by Rarity's flank swaying back and forth as she walked. It was all she could do to not just take her wings and grope her friend's cutie marks with them. Rarity did not really care for Fluttershy following her, like she was being forced to. She said, "Fluttershy, come up and walk beside me! You don't have to walk behind me."
At first Fluttershy didn't hear her, she just kept on staring at Rarity's behind swaying back and forth, fantasizing about everything her and Rarity could do together when finally Rarity yelled, "Fluttershy darling, you don't have to walk behind me!" She calmed down a bit and continued, "Come up and walk beside me, it makes me feel like you don't want to talk to me when you walk behind me like that."
Fluttershy replied, "Um ok, I'm sorry Rarity."
Rarity asked, "Why were you walking behind me anyway?"
This suddenly became one of those situations that Fluttershy really wished that she wished that she wasn't in. She knew that she just couldn't come out and tell Rarity that she was mesmerized by her swaying flank. She trotted up to where she was side by side with Rarity and replied, "Oh I'm sorry, I was just distracted by something."
Rarity could tell that she was distracted by something but she had no clue that it was her rump that was distracting her. After a few minutes they finally arrive at the boutique when Rarity suddenly realized something. She remembered that she had a couple more outfits she had to finish before she can just relax for the weekend. She said, "Fluttershy, I have a couple more outfits that I need to get finished and then I can fix us supper."
This caused Fluttershy's heart to sink. She replied, "O-oh I'm sorry Rarity. I didn't know you still had things to do. Maybe we can have supper together some other time."
Fluttershy headed towards the door with her head hung low when Rarity rushed after her. "Fluttershy darling, wait! It will only take me a little while and you can keep me company while I am working on them."
This brought a smile to Fluttershy's face. "Thank you Rarity, I'm glad you want me to stay."
Rarity put her hoof around Fluttershy and replied, "Fluttershy darling, you know I could never run you off unless I was horrendously behind."
Fluttershy felt a warmth surge through her as Rarity had her hoof around her. While to some ponies it would not affect them any, for Fluttershy it really turned her on. She followed Rarity to her inspiration room and watched her get to work. While Rarity worked on the outfits, they continued to discuss random, ordinary things. One thing that Fluttershy would not mention though was the thunderstorm that she knew would hit that night.
Finally a couple hours later Rarity was finished with all her work. She smiled and said, "Well that ought to do it. Now we can fix some supper and sit down to a nice meal."
Fluttershy knows how Rarity can be when it comes to fixing supper, that she likes for her guests to sit in the living room and wait for her to bring the meal to them and she did not want to be alone in there, she wanted as much time around Rarity as possible. She asked, "Rarity, if it is ok with you, could I help you fix supper?"
Rarity replied, "Fluttershy, you are my guest. You shouldn't have to help me fix supper. It just wouldn't feel right."
Fluttershy begged, "Please Rarity, or at least let me stay with you in the kitchen and keep you company."
Rarity was wondering why Fluttershy was wanting to stay closer to her but she did not say anything. She replied, "Alright Fluttershy, you may join me in the kitchen."
Fluttershy followed her into the kitchen and watched her as she began to get things out of the cupboards and while she was hoping to remain focused and not give herself away, she again found herself watching Rarity's flank. Rarity broke her from her gaze when she asked, "Fluttershy, so what do you want for supper?"
Fluttershy replied, "Well I would like a daffodil and daisy sandwich, that sounds really good to me."
Rarity said, "That is what I was thinking about having as well." She smiled at her and continued, "At least I won't have to fix different things for each of us."
After she finished fixing their sandwiches she got them each a glass of cider and they sat down for supper. Fluttershy was eating her meal and asked, "Wow Rarity, this tastes so good. When did you get these flowers?"
Rarity replied, "I just bought them today. I wanted my supper to be fresh."
Once they finished their supper they headed into the living room and sat down on the couch where they continued do discuss things such as Rarity's future orders, other happenings with their friends and what the Cutie Mark Crusaders were going to do that weekend to try and earn their cutie marks.
Fluttershy laughed, "I know those girls are doing all sorts of things to try and earn their cutie marks but like Twilight is always telling them, I think they are doing it the wrong way."
Rarity replied, "I agree. While I think it is cute I get frustrated at the same time. I remember when she......"
Lightning struck a nearby tree causing Fluttershy to shriek. She was so startled that she flew up and crashed into the ceiling and fell back down. Rarity rushed to her and asked, "Fluttershy, are you ok?"
Fluttershy replied, "Yeah, I'm ok. That lightning just startled me."
Very quickly it began to rain and rain hard. Fluttershy said, "I hope this rain doesn't last too long because I don't want to get soaked walking home."
Rarity replied, "Don't worry about it, if it is still raining later on you can just spend the night with me."
Fluttershy hugged Rarity and asked, "Really?"
Rarity replied, "Of course! I'd never expect a friend to walk home in this."
A couple hours pass and it is still raining hard, the lightning is still flashing, the thunder is loud and the winds were blowing stronger than they had in years. Fluttershy yawned as she was getting a bit tired. Rarity said, "Fluttershy, I don't want you to be walking home in this. How about you just spend the night with me."
Fluttershy replied, "Thank you Rarity, you are such a good friend."
Fluttershy was thrilled by this. The first part of what she had hoped that would bring her and Rarity closer had come to pass. Now she just hoped that she could get Rarity to let her sleep in her bed but she knew that she just couldn't come out and ask her. All she could do is hope that the nasty weather would make Rarity want somepony to hold close and snuggle with.
Fluttershy Makes Her Move
As the rain continued to soak Ponyville, Fluttershy and Rarity were getting ready to go to sleep. While she had told Fluttershy that she could spend the night Rarity at first had no clue where her friend would sleep. While Fluttershy was looking at the couch thinking that is where she would sleep, deep down she had other hopes. She was hoping that Rarity would let her sleep in her bed with her. She had a feeling that the storm would make Rarity want to cuddle since Rarity is a romantic at heart.
Fluttershy headed towards the couch and asked, "Rarity, do you have a pillow and a blanket? I don't think just laying on here would be all that comfortable."
Rarity replied, "Fluttershy, you don't have to sleep on the couch. I guess you could sleep in Sweetie Belle's room tonight."
Lightning struck a tree right outside of the boutique causing both of them to scream and jump. Rarity continued, "On second thought maybe you could just sleep with me. I know how you are when storms like this hit."
Fluttershy smiled and replied, "Really? That is so sweet of you!"
Rarity smiled and the two headed up to her bedroom. With her bedroom being on the top level of the boutique, it only made the pounding of the rain much louder. This made both ponies want to grab a hold of something and get under the covers. Finally Rarity turned off the light and they got under the covers. While Rarity tends to sleep on her back, Fluttershy prefers to sleep near the edge of the bed facing to where, if she had to, she could just jump out of bed.
Rarity quickly fell asleep as the sound of rain tends to make her do that more quickly while Fluttershy was laying there trying to build up the courage to turn onto her other side and put her leg around her friend. Once Rarity had been asleep for around thirty minutes Fluttershy turned onto her other side and moved a bit closer to her. She continued to move closer to her for roughly thirty minutes until she finally built up the courage to start what her plans were.
First she put her front left leg over the sleeping Rarity. Rarity shook a little bit and in a half-awake state she mumbled, "Ugh...what is that." This startled Fluttershy to the point that she pulled her leg off of her. Rarity then continued, "Come on Rarity, you know she would nev....." She then fell back asleep and didn't even notice that Fluttershy had her leg around her.
A few minutes Fluttershy put her leg around her friend again and heard her begin to moan. Like it would with most ponies, this turned Fluttershy on and she lifted her left hind leg up and slipped it between Rarity's legs. Rarity stirred a little bit but continued to sleep. Fluttershy's heart began to beat faster with anticipation as she was just waiting for the right moment to make the final move. Between her hind legs she had begun to get wet. She started to rub her marehood up against Rarity's leg, not so hard that she would wake her up but not so light that it would not provide the proper stimulation. Fluttershy felt the type of pleasure that she had never experienced before. While she had rubbed her marehood with her hoof in the past, that was nothing compared to this. Finally Fluttershy decided to make her move when the rain was pounding so loud that she just had to hold somepony tight.
She slowly crawled on top of Rarity. She was shocked that she had not woken her up yet but Rarity tends to be a heavy sleeper. Despite being incredibly nervous she lowered her head down and pressed her lips up against Rarity's. She wrapped herself tightly around her and began to kiss her passionately. Suddenly Rarity woke up to discover Fluttershy on top of her, holding her down and exploring the inside of her mouth with her tongue. Rarity started screaming and kicked Fluttershy off of her.
She screamed, "Fluttershy, what are you doing?"
Fluttershy shied back, "Uhm...."
Rarity screamed, "Why are you doing this?"
This scared Fluttershy which caused her to run downstairs, out the door and head home. Fluttershy was running home in the pouring rain sobbing. When she got home she was soaking wet and crying so loudly she woke all of her animals. Naturally Angel was the first to go see what was wrong. He jumped up on her back and was squeaking in a tone of concern. Fluttershy knew what he was asking and replied, "Oh it's ok Angel. It's something that I will get over."
One of her squirrel friends took her an acorn and took it up to her. She bent down and ate it. After that she said, "Thank you mister squirrel but I don't think one little acorn will help with this."
Soon her animals could sense that whatever was wrong, that it was something that they could not help her with. She headed up to her bedroom and despite still being soaking wet, she crawled under the covers and tired to get to sleep. She was unable to do so though because all she could think of was how Rarity kicked her off of her and yelled at her.
At the boutique Rarity just sat there on her bed wondering what happened. She was wracking her brain trying to figure out what would cause Fluttershy to do such a thing. She realized that part of one of her legs was wet. She bent down and smelled it and what she smelled shocked her. It was the smell of girlcum. She couldn't fathom it at first but soon realized that it could have come from only one source, Fluttershy.
She could hardly believe it. She said to herself, "This came from Fluttershy? My sweet, innocent friend Fluttershy?"
While Rarity had always been into stallions and had her crushes on the more attractive ones, namely Fancy Pants and Trenderhoof, she began to think about how having Fluttershy on top of her felt. Thinking back to it she began to get wet herself. While at first she wouldn't admit it, she realized that she enjoyed the moment. Feelings that she had kept buried for years out of fear of being ostracized, she finally allowed them to come to the surface. She did think Fluttershy was beautiful and felt a bit of an attraction to her.
Rarity went from being stunned to realizing what her true feelings were to a sense of jubilation. She began to jump up and down around her bedroom like a schoolfilly screaming, "Finally, somepony wants me! Finally, I may have found my true love. She wants me, me!"
One thing Rarity did not know though is that her kicking Fluttershy off of her and her yelling may have scared Fluttershy away from her forever. She knew that she could not simply go approach Fluttershy right away. She also knew that she would need some advice on how to handle this and she would go and speak to this pony the following morning.
Twilight the Counselor
The following morning Rarity was still sitting there wondering what she was going to do about the night before. She did finally realize that she liked the experience with Fluttershy, she did realize that she had special feelings for her but she also knew that with her kicking Fluttershy off of her and yelling at her, that her chances of actually being with her had been greatly reduced. She then realized that perhaps she could have somepony help her with this, a pony who is good with words and a pony who is smart. She decided she would talk to Twilight about this.
The morning air was humid but cool as the sun was shining down upon Ponyville. There were plenty of mud puddles and the grass was wet but Rarity didn't care, she needed to speak with Twilight. She walked over to the library and knocked on the door. After a minute of non-stop knocking a very tired Twilight answered the door. Rarity saw the shape that her mane was in and asked, "Twilight, whatever is wrong with your mane?"
Twilight replied, "Ugh....I'm sorry Rarity, I just woke up." She yawned and asked, "What brings you over here so early? Normally you're not awake this early on Saturdays."
Rarity replied, "Well, something happened last night that I have to talk to you about, something that I never expected to happen."
Twilight asked, "What is that?"
Rarity replied, "Well Fluttershy decided to come over and eat supper with me since Sweetie Belle is spending the whole weekend at Sweet Apple Acres. Well when the thunderstorm hit I told Fluttershy that she could spend the night with me." She paused momentarily and continued, "Well lightning hit a nearby tree. That spooked both of us so we decided to share the same bed."
While she had never told her, Twilight knew that Fluttershy has had a crush on Rarity for an extremely long time. She smiled and asked, "And what happened next?"
Rarity continued, "Well like I always have I laid on my back in the middle of my bed while Fluttershy fell asleep on her side right on the edge of my bed. Well after I had fallen asleep Fluttershy crawled on top of me, was holding me down and was kissing me passionately. This woke me up and I was so shocked that without even thinking I kicked her off of me and yelled at her."
Twilight shook her head and asked, "What happened next?"
Rarity began to bawl, "She took off and bolted into the pouring rain before I could even catch her to apologize for my reaction. I wanted to tell her something I've been hiding for a long time."
Twilight began to snicker a bit, "Oooooh.... it looks like somepony's got a crush!"
Rarity snapped, "This is no laughing matter Twilight. I am afraid I have lost her. I am afraid she may not even want to be friends anymore, much less anything else."
Twilight could tell by Rarity's reaction that she did actually have more than just a simple crush on Fluttershy. She asked, "Rarity, you seriously have feelings like this towards Fluttershy? I thought you only liked stallions."
Rarity replied, "Yes Twilight, I do have these feelings towards Fluttershy. After what happened last night I realized that every stallion I had ever pursued never wanted anything to do with me yet here is a beautiful and sexy mare who wants me, a beautiful and sexy mare who loves me." Rarity began to cry and continued, "I finally realize that I LOVE Fluttershy and now I may have lost her forever. Please help me Twilight! What do I do?"
Twilight replied, "Well you're going to have to talk to her about this or she will think that you hate her and want nothing to do with her."
Rarity had a nervous look on her face and said, "Twilight, I don't know if I can just approach her this soon." She knew how good Twilight was with words and asked, "Twilight, would you talk to her about this?"
Twilight replied, "Well, I don't know. Rarity, this is something...."
Rarity grabbed Twilight and pleaded, "Please, please, please!"
Twilight replied, "Oh alright. I don't think she is going to be happy that you told me about this but I'll go and talk to her."
Rarity hugged her and continued, "Oh thank you, thank you, thank you!"
Twilight rolled her eyes and said, "Well Rarity, I'm off to Fluttershy's but remember, in the end it has to be you that tells her how you really feel, not me."
Twilight had this bad feeling that not only would she meet up with a pony who doesn't want to socialize, but a pony who also will be angry at not only her but also Rarity for telling her about what happened the night before.
Twilight headed off to Fluttershy's cottage hoping that she would be home. She knocked on the door but got no answer. She heard sobbing coming from the Everfree Forest so she headed in the direction of the crying. A ways into the forest she ran into her friend. She asked, "Fluttershy, what is wrong? Normally you wouldn't come into the forest alone."
Not only was Fluttershy devastated, she seemed a bit angry as well. What she considered a flat out rejection by Rarity made her feel unloved. She sneered, "What, can a pony not do what she wishes? Is there some sort of law that states that Unloved Fluttershy can't come into the forest alone?"
While Twilight had never encountered her when she was in her "New Fluttershy" phase after her assertiveness training, she heard about how she was and had a bad feeling that she was going to be the same way now. Twilight replied, "Fluttershy, I never said there was a law that kept you from coming in here." She sighed and continued, "Unloved Fluttershy? What do you mean by Unloved Fluttershy?"
Fluttershy replied, "Well, Unloved Fluttershy feels like nopony loves her. She has decided it would be best to just hide out in the forest."
While Twilight knew exactly why she would feel unloved, she knew that she simply couldn't come out and tell her. She wanted to see if Fluttershy would reveal anything to her. She asked, "Why do you feel unloved?"
Fluttershy replied, "Oh, haven't you heard? Rarity kicked Unloved Fluttershy out of her house last night after telling her that she could spend the night with her and Unloved Fluttershy had no choice but to walk home in the rain and lightning."
Twilight was thinking to herself that maybe she could get Fluttershy to reveal everything without her having to mention Rarity talking to her so she continued to let her rant. She asked, "Seriously? Rarity kicked you out of her house and made you walk home in that horrible storm?"
Fluttershy was becoming more agitated. She snapped, "Yes, she did. She probably just couldn't stand the thoughts of sharing a bed with her friend. She probably wished she was sharing it with some high-falootin stallion from Canterlot."
Twilight asked, "What do you mean 'sharing a bed?' Did you two share her bed last night?"
Fluttershy replied, "Yes. Lightning struck a nearby tree and she told us that she could sleep with her." She kicked a shrub so hard she knocked most of the berries off and continued, "Oh yes, she says that but then she kicked Unloved Fluttershy out in the middle of the night and forced her to walk home in the lightning and rain. Some friend she is."
Twilight slipped up and said, "Well yeah, she told me....."
Fluttershy smacked Twilight and yelled, "Oh, so she came and talked to you about last night didn't she? She came and told you how she didn't like me being on top of her and kissing her didn't she?"
Twilight was really nervous as she felt things were really spiraling out of control. She replied, "Well uh...."
Fluttershy, her voice dripping in sarcasm, yelled, "Oh, let me guess. She came to you and said she'd rather be screwing Fancy Ass, Trenderpuke or some other fancy ass pony than be kissed by her friend, didn't she?"
Twilight snapped, "No Fluttershy. She said that she feels bad about what she did. She told me that she does love you."
Fluttershy grabbed a hold of a bush and ripped it out of the ground with her teeth she was so mad at this point. She yelled, "Well she must not or she would have come here and told Unloved Fluttershy herself instead of sending you here to talk to us." She kicked some dirt at Twilight and continued, "Just leave Unloved Fluttershy alone. She's going deeper in the forest."
Twilight saw Fluttershy fly off into the forest and realized that she had failed in even getting her to listen, much less getting her to realize that Rarity does love her. She headed back into town where she was greeted by Rarity. Rarity excitedly asked, "Twilight, did you tell her that I love her?"
Twilight hung her head low and replied, "Rarity, I couldn't even get her to listen. All she did was yell at me, say you'd rather be with a fancy stallion and kick dirt at me. After that she flew further into the forest which really has me worried. Normally she won't go into the forest alone.
Rarity began to cry, "I've lost her forever, haven't I? I feel so bad for what I did."
Twilight replied, "Well we'll see. I think if we give her a few days maybe she will have calmed down."
Rarity asked, "With her going further into the forest, where do you think she went?"
Twilight replied, "Well she either went to Zecora's to ask for advice or she went to the old castle for some solitude. Sometimes I go there when I just need to be alone so she may have done the same thing."
While they continued to talk about their concerns regarding Fluttershy, Fluttershy was heading further into the forest until she reached the old castle. She flew in and headed down to the secret room that Twilight and Spike discovered when they were trying to figure out where the keys for the chest were. The good thing for Fluttershy was that it was not exposed to the elements and it held plenty of reading materials to keep her busy until she decided to go home, which could be quite some time from now.
After her talk with Twilight, Fluttershy took off into the forest. She was already a bit irritated before talking with her, now she was enraged. She felt like Rarity had shunned her not only because she kicked her out of bed, but also because she would not come and talk to her herself. She felt like Twilight was on Rarity's side since she came to talk to her in Rarity's stead. At this point, she truly felt like nopony cared. Eventually she arrived at the castle and went to the room where the Journal of the Two Sisters was found.
She quickly realized that once it got dark, it would be pitch dark but with the mood she was in, that didn't seem to bother her. She mumbled to herself, "Alright Unloved Fluttershy, if we can stay in here in absolute darkness, we can persevere through anything."
It was mid-day in Ponyville and Rarity was getting ready to head into the forest. Twilight caught her before she headed in and asked, "Rarity, are you sure you want to go there alone? I could accompany you if you want me to."
Rarity replied, "Thanks for the offer Twilight but this is something I have to do alone. If you go with me you will likely just make her madder." She began to walk into the forest and continued, "I'll see you later Twilight."
Twilight sighed and headed home. Despite it being a perfectly clear day, the air seemed heavier and the forest seemed darker than normal. Rarity looked around herself and said, "Come on Rarity, there is nothing in those woods to hurt you."
She continued to look around wearily as she continued her journey. Every single noise she heard made her more nervous as she remembered how vicious timberwolves can be and that without Fluttershy around, running into a manticore would not turn out well. Finally about an hour later she saw the bridge to cross over to the old castle. Despite it being tied quite well, she was worried about it falling the whole way across.
Finally she got to the other side and proceeded to enter the castle. She shouted, "Fluttershy, are you here?"
From where she was at first Fluttershy could not hear her so she received no response. She continued to walk around the old ruins worrying that the roof would cave in on her. She then remembered how Twilight said that sometimes she would go to the room where they found the journal for solitude and headed towards it. She headed into the passageway that led to it and shouted, "Fluttershy, are you ok?"
Fluttershy was half-asleep but Rarity's voice quickly woke her up. She growled, "So Rarity has come to tell Unloved Fluttershy that she never wants to see her again? Well she'll be sorry when she does!"
Rarity finally came into the small chamber to find Fluttershy standing there with a glare on her face. Rarity rushed up to her and said, "Fluttershy, I was so worried about you."
Before Rarity could hug Fluttershy she pushed her back with her wing. She asked, "So Rarity, have you come to tell Unloved Fluttershy that you never want to see her again? Have you come to tell her that you would rather be with some nasty, fancy stallion than Unloved Fluttershy?"
Rarity replied, "Fluttershy sweetness, I came to apologize to you for how I reacted."
Fluttershy snapped, "So, how did you know where Unloved Fluttershy would be?" She stomped her hoof into the floor and continued, "Let us guess, Twilight told you where we would be, didn't she?"
Rarity replied, "Well yeah, Twilight told me you might be here because she comes here sometimes when she needs solitude."
Fluttershy turned her back towards Rarity and asked, "Oh, and why do you want to apologize? Is it because Twilight is making you? Is it because you are afraid it will make Celestia mad that there is disharmony between us or something else? Unloved Fluttershy wants to know."
Rarity replied, "Fluttershy, I want to tell you something. Last night after I kicked you off of me and you ran home, I felt really bad. I didn't mean to kick you off of me, it was just a reaction of surprise being woke up like that."
Fluttershy grunted, "If you felt so bad, why did you yell at Unloved Fluttershy? You could have asked us calmly."
Rarity replied, "Fluttershy, I was just so shocked that you were on top of me that I was stunned. I didn't even mean for it to come out in the tone of voice that it did."
Fluttershy sighed, "Don't go giving Unloved Fluttershy any excuses, you know how much she hates excuses."
Rarity put her hoof on Fluttershy's shoulder and asked, "Fluttershy, don't you think we should get going home? It will be getting dark soon and I know you don't like being in the forest after dark."
While Rarity thought that by her mentioning being in the forest after dark would make Fluttershy want to go home, it did the opposite actually. Fluttershy sighed, "Oh, what is so bad about being here after dark? We certainly had no problems being out here after dark when we discovered this room."
Rarity replied, "Well, you know, with it just being us two what if there were to be some timberwolves come in here or something. What if they were to try to kill us."
Fluttershy sneered, "Don't be such a worry wart Rarity. The timberwolves won't come into the castle and even if they would, Unloved Fluttershy wouldn't have any problems getting away."
This did not sit well with Rarity. She was beginning to see the same nastiness in Fluttershy that she saw after she took Iron Will's assertiveness course. She snapped, "Oh, so now it is all about you huh? All Unloved Fluttershy cares about is Unloved Fluttershy?"
Fluttershy growled, "Why not? After all it seems like you have always been like that. You're too afraid of getting dirty to help Applejack out when she needs it and remember when you just had to enter the young flyers competition when Twilight gave you those wings when Rainbow was already nervous?" She began to snort and continued, "It's always been about you and nopony else Rarity!"
Rarity replied, "Well I....."
Fluttershy continued, "Oh, and what about that time when you lied about Opal being sick so Pinkie would relocate Twilight's birthday party? Remember that? Remember how you just had to spend time with the Canterlot elite instead of being a good friend to Twilight? Remember how at first you acted ashamed to admit to the elite that we were your friends?"
Rarity sighed, "Yes Fluttershy, I remember that and looking back I feel really bad about it."
Fluttershy again turned her back on Rarity and growled, "Just forget it. It's getting dark, hadn't you better get home?" She raised her voice and continued, "After all, Unloved Fluttershy is sure that you wouldn't want to make one of your beloved stallions worry about you!"
While Rarity was getting frustrated with Fluttershy becoming increasingly nasty and mean, she realized that a lot of the things Fluttershy was saying were true so she decided she would just hope that her friend would eventually calm down. She replied, "Fluttershy, I am worried about you. I'm not leaving until you leave."
Fluttershy growled, "Well you might have a long wait. Unloved Fluttershy may just stay out here for a long time to see if you truly care about her or see if you are 'all hat and no cattle' as Applejack would put it."
Rarity replied, "Well Fluttershy, I will wait with you as long as you remain here. I want you to know that I do truly love you."
Fluttershy just sighed and thought that there was no way that Rarity would wait out there with her. After all, Rarity would not want to just stay out in the middle of nowhere, far far away from anything to keep her appearance perfect and Fluttershy knew that it would have to be a life or death situation for Rarity to go as far as to eat wild plants in the forest to survive. She thought to herself, "If she does actually love Unloved Fluttershy, she will do what it takes to survive staying out here for a long time."
The sun had set and the moon had risen. There was not much in the way of light though as it was a waning crescent, headed towards the new moon phase, leaving the castle very dark. Rarity felt very nervous and continued to look around. While her horn did create enough light for her to see Fluttershy, it did not create enough to where they could see any dangers coming their way. While Rarity was nervous, Fluttershy was perfectly calm. This really confused Rarity as she knew how Fluttershy gets when it is dark.
Rarity asked, "Fluttershy, why aren't you nervous? Aren't you worried that something will get us?"
Fluttershy sighed, "Rarity, this castle still has a special energy about it that drives away the wild and dangerous animals. We have nothing to worry about."
Rarity asked, "What about the pony of shadows?"
Fluttershy grunted, "Rarity, the pony of shadows is just an old mares' tale. Just calm down, everything will be fine."
Rarity asked, "But what about........."
Fluttershy snapped, "Look, Unloved Fluttershy is trying to get some rest. Just relax, nothing is going to happen."
Fluttershy laid down and was able to get to sleep fairly quickly despite Rarity continuing to light the room with her horn. Rarity continued to hear noises in the old castle and continued to worry what it was. A bit after midnight Rarity began to hear very faint pipe organ music. She wanted to wake Fluttershy up and hold her but with the mood her friend was in, Rarity knew that doing so might not be in her best interests.
The organ music continued to get louder and louder until Rarity couldn't take it anymore. She walked over to Fluttershy and nudged her. She asked, "Fluttershy, do you hear that?"
Fluttershy snapped, "Can't you see that Unloved Fluttershy is trying to sleep." She perked her ears up and could hear the organ. She continued, "Yes, Unloved Fluttershy hears it." She rolled her eyes and sighed, "Don't worry about it, it's nothing to worry about."
Rarity asked, "What do you think it is?"
Fluttershy replied, "It is probably Pinkie coming out here and playing that thing again." Fluttershy got up and headed towards where the organ was located and continued, "Come on, let's go get her to quit it. Unloved Fluttershy needs her sleep."
Rarity sighed and followed Fluttershy down to the organ room. They looked in and sure enough, there was a figure at the organ playing. This music sounded different than what Pinkie would play. It sounded much darker and more evil. The two sneaked up behind the figure and Fluttershy ripped the cloak off of it. This caused a black mist to go flying out of the room. Rarity shrieked loudly, "THE PONY OF SHADOWS! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!"
Fluttershy sighed, "Rarity, it took off to another part of the castle. It must be more scared of us than we are of it."
Rarity shouted, "Speak for yourself Fluttershy! I don't care anymore, I'm going home."
Fluttershy sneered, "Unloved Fluttershy figured as much. She knew you didn't really love her like you claim you do."
Rarity began to cry, "Fluttershy darling, what has happened to you? You're not even the same pony I have known for so long. You're not the same pony that I do secretly love. It seems like in less than a day you have went from being shy and timid to brash and overly brave."
Fluttershy snapped, "Well getting yelled at and getting kicked out of bed will do that to a pony." She headed over to the organ and began to play the same tune the pony of shadows was playing. She screamed, "Just leave Unloved Fluttershy alone! She knows you don't love her so go back to the safety of your precious bed! Maybe Fancy Ass or Trenderpuke will come visit you sometime!"
Despite the fact that Fluttershy's nastiness was getting worse, Rarity continued to hope that time would cause Fluttershy to calm down. She replied, "Fluttershy sweetness, I've come to realize who is really important. I know they don't want me but I know that you do. I do truly love you so I'm not going anywhere."
Fluttershy snapped, "Oh, what happened to you not caring anymore? What happened to you going home?" Fluttershy then thought more about what else her friend said. She continued, "Oh, so if one of those fancy ass stallions were interested in you, you would say 'oh buck you Fluttershy, I'm going to hook up with this idiot?'" She kicked the organ so hard that she did some damage to the front leg of it. She continued, "You do know that they would just use you don't you? You know that Unloved Fluttershy would always be there for you don't you?"
Rarity began to cry further, "I can't take it anymore! Either you stop being so awful or I'm leaving!"
Fluttershy sneered, "Oh so you can't make up your mind now, can't you? If you don't want anything to do with Unloved Fluttershy just say so. Unloved Fluttershy is getting sick of this."
Rarity hugged Fluttershy and broke down, "Ok Fluttershy, I'll tell you the truth. The reason I haven't pursued you is because I'm afraid of what everypony would think about me hooking up with another mare."
Fluttershy asked, "Seriously? You're worried about what other ponies would think about you being with another mare? Why?"
Rarity replied, "Well there are no other same gender relationships in Ponyville." Rarity had a thought rush through her mind and continued, "Fluttershy, why didn't you pursue me sooner than you did? Were you worried about what other ponies would think too?"
Fluttershy replied, "No, Unloved Fluttershy was scared of how you would react. She was afraid that you would reject her, which you obviously did."
Rarity sighed, "Fluttershy darling, I have told you many times that it was just a reaction that resulted from being shocked. I wish you would understand that."
Fluttershy yawned, "Rarity, how about we just drop this for the night? Unloved Fluttershy is tired and needs her sleep."
The two headed up to the room they were in earlier and just like earlier, Fluttershy was able to get to sleep quickly while Rarity continued to toss and turn on the floor. This time though it was not noises that were keeping her awake, it was the realization that she may have not only lost any chance of winning back Fluttershy's love, but that she may have even lost her as a friend.
Dawn arrived all too soon for both ponies. Neither had got much sleep the night before and were still extremely tired. Rarity yawned, "Ugh, I don't know about you but I am still really tired."
Fluttershy found this comment as a no brainer. She replied, "Well you are going to be tired. You didn't get much sleep last night."
Rarity asked, "What about you Fluttershy, are you still tired?"
Fluttershy snapped, "Look, Unloved Fluttershy is still tired but most of all, she is hungry. Let's go get something to eat."
The two headed out of the castle to find something to eat. Fluttershy began to eat some berries while Rarity looked around and cringed. The only thing to eat was berries. She began to gag which was quickly noticed by Fluttershy. She sighed, "Nothing is good enough for you now is it? You just can't eat anything wild, can you?"
Rarity replied, "You know I'm used to the finer things, or at least you used to know." She again began to sob, "But now you have either become a ruffian like Applejack or you are just doing this to test me."
Fluttershy simply grunted and began to gorge herself on berries again. Rarity began to realize that if she is to win back the love of the one pony who has been attracted to her for quite some time, that she would need to either start roughing it more like her, try to seduce her or both. Rarity began to eat the berries the way Fluttershy was. It was all she could do to not gag but she managed to choke them down. Fluttershy yawned, "I don't know about you but Unloved Fluttershy really wants to get some rest. She is going back inside to get some more sleep."
Rarity added, "That sounds like a good idea to me. Let's get some more sleep."
They headed back into the castle and laid on the floor. Refreshed and not quite as stressed, Fluttershy sprawled out like she would in her bed while Rarity curled up in a ball feeling bad about everything that had happened since the night of the storm. She began to weep, "Rarity, if you are to win back her love, you are going to have to show her you truly love her by staying out here with her no matter what, no matter how unpleasant it may be."
An hour passed and Fluttershy had fallen asleep while Rarity lay there contemplating what she should do. One small part of her just wanted to leave but an increasingly large part of her believed that she could get her friend to come around and see that she does love her. As Fluttershy was laying there, Rarity approached her, knelt down and began to massage her shoulders, which caused Fluttershy to stir. After ten minutes Fluttershy woke up, looked around and smiled up at Rarity and asked, "Rarity, what are you doing?"
Rarity replied, "Well I....I'm just trying to help you calm down. I know you're really stressed."
Fluttershy smiled, "I am not all that stressed but it does feel good. Thank you Rarity."
This brought a smile to Rarity's face. It wasn't so much as to what she said, it was that she stopped calling herself "Unloved Fluttershy." Despite this, she knew that she couldn't just start talking to her like she used to, before what happened on that dark and stormy night that put Fluttershy in the state she had fallen into. She continued to massage Fluttershy's shoulders and replied, "Of course Fluttershy, anything for you darling."
Fluttershy sat up and pulled Rarity into a tight embrace and began to massage Rarity's shoulders in return. What had seemed to be chilly relations between the two finally seemed to be returning to a sense of normalcy which brought a great amount of relief to Rarity. She pulled Fluttershy close to her and moved in for a kiss, but she pulled back. She said, "Rarity, I'm not sure if we're ready for this. We still have a lot to talk about."
Rarity asked, "Whatever do you mean darling? You don't seem as upset as you did earlier."
Fluttershy replied, "I'm not quite as upset as I was but that doesn't mean that things have returned to normal between us. That night when you kicked me out of bed and yelled at me is still fresh in my mind and it hurts that you first sent Twilight to talk to me about this rather than coming to me directly that morning."
Rarity sighed, "Fluttershy, I have told you many times that I reacted the way I did was because I was in a state of shock to wake up with you on top of me kissing me and as far as why I didn't come talk to you directly was because I was scared of how you would react. I was worried you would react even worse than you did when I first got out here."
Fluttershy rolled her eyes and replied, "I might have, I might not have. We can't go back and change things so all we can do is move forward."
Rarity sighed, "I know."
They decided to drop the issue and sit and reflect for the rest of the day and going into the night. As it got dark in the castle Rarity couldn't help but think to herself that perhaps that would be the night she could win Fluttershy back. She remembered that night when Fluttershy made her move on her and decided that the time had come for her to do the same had arrived.
Heating Up the Everfree Forest
Darkness had descended once more upon the castle and like the previous night, they laid on the floor in the secret chamber where they found the journal. It did not take long for Fluttershy to fall asleep but Rarity laid there, waiting for the right moment, waiting for the right moment to reciprocate what Fluttershy attempted to do on that stormy night. About an hour later Rarity finally readied herself and walked over to Fluttershy. She smiled as she saw her friend laying there in a peaceful sleep but not waking her would be tougher since she lays on her side rather than on her back.
She bent down and turned her friend onto her back. She heard Fluttershy sigh and stir a bit but she did not wake her up. Finally she slowly crawls on top of Fluttershy and begins to kiss her. She quickly pinned her down and began to kiss her more passionately, causing Fluttershy to quickly wake up. As soon as she woke up she pulled her head to the side and shrieked. This startled Rarity to the point where she jumped off of the yellow pegasus. Fluttershy, in shock, asked, "Rarity, what are you doing?"
Rarity replied, "Well, uhm.....you see, I just couldn't help myself."
Fluttershy sat up and asked, "Why couldn't you help yourself? Why would you just crawl on top of me and start kissing me?"
Rarity replied, "Because I love you Fluttershy. I truly love you and I find you so sexy." She threw her hooves around Fluttershy and began to sob, "I'm so sorry for everything Fluttershy. I'm so sorry for what I did. I love you, I truly do." She buried her face in Fluttershy's mane and continued, "I have done a lot of soul searching and now I know what I want out of life. I want you, I want to be with you forever."
Fluttershy pulled Rarity forward to where they were face to face. Fluttershy asked, "Rarity, could you light up your horn? I really need some light."
Rarity was confused as to why Fluttershy would need some light but she did as requested. Fluttershy stared deep into her eyes and asked, "What is it you want Rarity? Would you repeat yourself?"
Rarity repeated herself while Fluttershy was looking deep into her eyes. Fluttershy could tell that she was indeed telling the truth. What she thought had been nothing more than a lie since that stormy night was indeed true. She pulled Rarity close to her and began to kiss her passionately. For both ponies that was pure bliss. For Rarity it felt like they had merged into one. Never before had she felt so much happiness. Once Fluttershy broke the kiss she asked, "Rarity, what do you say we stop for the night? I want us to be able to see one another for what I want to do next."
Rarity was confused by Fluttershy's request but agreed to it. Unlike other nights though, they slept in a tight embrace which brought about a much more peaceful, uninterrupted sleep. The following morning the two woke and were gazing into one another's eyes with a huge smile. Fluttershy swatted Rarity's flank with her wing and asked, "What do you say we get something to eat before we get started?"
Rarity grabbed Fluttershy's flank with her hoof and seductively asked, "Oh, and what is it you want us to start?"
Fluttershy replied, "Oh you'll see!"
The two headed outside to grab a bite to eat. While it still wasn't what Rarity would consider a 'satisfactory meal', she ate it knowing that Fluttershy had something planned for them, something that she would like.
After finishing their meal they headed back to the room which they had been sleeping in and began to talk about various things, which at first was very frustrating for Rarity. She had expected Fluttershy to make some sort of move but did not do so. Just as Rarity began to look down in sadness Fluttershy pulled Rarity up close to her and began to massage Rarity's chest with her wing. Rarity began to giggle and Fluttershy asked, "Are you ticklish there?"
Rarity giggled, "Stop it darling, that tickles!"
Fluttershy got an evil yet seductive smile on her face and replied, "Ok, you asked for it!"
She began to move her wing down Rarity's torso towards her belly. This caused Rarity to only giggle further as she was very ticklish there. She began to beg and plead for her friend to stop but Fluttershy continued to move her wing down further and further. Finally she reached her target. She began to brush the end of her wing up against Rarity's clit causing her laughter to turn into moaning. Fluttershy asked, "Do you like it?"
Rarity moaned, "Yes Fluttershy, oh yes I like it!"
Fluttershy replied, "Well you haven't seen anything yet!"
Before Rarity could say anything Fluttershy began to suck on her chest, causing her to giggle again. Fluttershy continued to move down further and further towards her prize. Rarity replied, "Rea......"

Finally Fluttershy had ran her tongue as deep into Rarity as she could but had a feeling that she could drive the white unicorn beyond wild. She took her wings and began to massage Rarity's flanks, right where her cutie marks were. This had the desired effects as Rarity began to moan louder and louder. Just as Rarity was getting close to her orgasm Fluttershy pulled her tongue out and stopped. Rarity asked, "Fluttershy darling, why did you stop? I was so close!"
Fluttershy gave her a smirk and replied, "Oh, I think I know of a way to make this even better."
Rarity gasped as Fluttershy sat on her face and laid down on her, returning to her tasty treat. Rarity realized what it was Fluttershy wanted and happily followed suit. Fluttershy quickly got back to work as her breathing became harder and harder. Fluttershy too realized that Rarity was so much more than what she had been for so long. She felt as though during their embrace, that they had united as one truly loving entity. She realized that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with Rarity in sweet, close knit bliss.
They pulled apart but despite what they felt as joyful bliss, both were still a little bit nervous. They both wanted to ask the other the same question. They could both see that nervous look in the other's eyes. Rarity was the first to break the silence. She asked, "Fluttershy darling, whatever is wrong? You look so nervous."
Fluttershy replied, "Uhm...well I'm o...." She stopped in mid-sentence and realized that if she didn't ask it now, that she would probably never ask. She asked, "Rarity, um, if it is ok with you, would you be my marefriend?"
Rarity jumped up and began bouncing around like a school filly. She replied, "Yes, yes, yes! Of course I'll be your marefriend!"
Fluttershy jumped up and the two engaged in a tight embrace. Both of them had never felt happier before in their lives. Finally, they were marefriends and now the anxiety that came with approaching the other was over. Fluttershy looked towards the exit to the castle and asked, "What do you say sweetie, shall we go home?"
Rarity replied, "Of course darling! I'm so ready to get all this dirt washed out of my mane!"
Fluttershy added, "Me too! My coat is so dirty." Fluttershy gave Rarity a smile, grabbed her flank with her wing and added, "Let's get going."
Rarity blushed as they left the castle and headed home. Rarity was ecstatic that not only could she get home to wash all the dirt that covered her, but that she could finally be with the one she loved. She decided that she would not worry about what other ponies would think about her being with another mare. Her and Fluttershy loved one another and that is all that mattered.
It took Rarity and Fluttershy a little over an hour to get back to Ponyville. Both of them wanted to get washed up as their coats, manes and tails were dirty and had lost their normal, elegant look. It was mid-afternoon and Rarity knew that Sweetie Belle would be getting home any moment and she certainly didn't want her to see her in that state. As they approached Fluttershy's cottage Rarity asked, "Fluttershy darling, do you think I could get washed up in your cottage?"
Fluttershy grabbed her flank and replied, "Sure, as long as I can be the one to wash you!"
Rarity knew what Fluttershy wanted. She replied, "Of course we can shower together dear! That would be so romantic!"
The two headed into her cottage and went straight up to the bathroom. Fluttershy got the water running and let it run until it reached the ideal temperature, well for her anyway. She then realized that she shouldn't be so selfish. She asked, "Rarity, do you like your water just warm or do you like it hotter?"
Rarity replied, "Well I like it hotter so if you could be a dear and have it hotter that would be wonderful."
Fluttershy was no fan of hot water but decided to turn the hot water up higher to make her new marefriend happy. Once she got it hotter she said, "Rarity, put your hoof in there and see if it is right for you."
Rarity got in the shower and it was the perfect temperature. She kissed Fluttershy and replied, "Come on in darling, it is absolutely magnificent."
Fluttershy stepped into the shower and while it was hotter than she liked, it was still comfortable given that Rarity was in there with her. First they washed all the dirt and other muck out of their manes and tails, which was rather uneventful. It was the washing one another's coats that the two mares looked forward to.
Fluttershy decided she would start first. She took the soap with her wings and began to rub it in Rarity's coat, making a nice lather all over her. Rarity began to giggle and squirm as she is very ticklish. She giggled, "Fluttershy, stop it! I'm ticklish!"
Fluttershy swatted her flank and replied, "How am I supposed to get all this dirt off of you? Unless you want this muck staying on you, you'll let me do this!"
Rarity sighed, "Oh ok! Whatever you say."
Fluttershy continued to get a good lather on her until she had her covered. Rarity stepped into the flowing water to wash it off. Before Rarity could start to wash Fluttershy, the yellow pegasus took her wing and began to rub Rarity's marehood. Rarity said, "Stop it Fluttershy! That can wait until we're done!"
Fluttershy sighed, "Oh ok, you're no fun!"
Fluttershy is not nearly as ticklish as Rarity so washing her was much easier and it did not take nearly as long. After they had both finished washing one another they did not turn the water off. They stood there in an embrace kissing passionately as the water continued to beat down on them. It was a moment that they wished would never end but before they knew it Fluttershy began to run out of hot water. As soon as it got cold both of them shrieked. Fluttershy turned the water off and they jumped out of the shower shivering cold.
Rarity said, "I don't know about you, but I'm freezing!"
Fluttershy gave her a smile and replied, "Oh I think I know how to fix that!"
Fluttershy took charge and dragged Rarity by the tail to her bed. She pulled up the covers and ordered Rarity to get in. Rarity got in bed and as soon as she was in, Fluttershy crawled in with her and began to rub herself up against the white unicorn. It was still light and the curtains were open which caused Rarity a bit of concern. She asked, "Fluttershy darling, are you sure we should be doing this with the curtains open and the light on?"
Fluttershy forced herself on top of Rarity and replied, "Oh it's ok Rarity! Nopony can see us and this is so much fun with plenty of light!"
The two provided one another with plenty of body heat and were soon hot. Fluttershy kicked the covers off but remained wrapped around Rarity. She looked into her deep blue eyes and said, "Rarity, I have never been happier in my life. You are every mare's dream come true."
Rarity pulled Fluttershy closer and replied, "I know darling, you are every mare's dream come true too."
Fluttershy asked, "So where do we go from here? Do we move in together, spend a lot more time together or what?"
Rarity replied, "I'm not sure but I do think it is a bit early to be moving in with one another. We need more time to grow as a couple and simply moving in together may not be a good idea."
Fluttershy said, "I agree Rarity. We don't want to move too fast. Our time to live together and ultimately get married will come. For now let's just go at a pace that is comfortable for us."
Rarity agreed with Fluttershy but she was already looking forward. She knew that they loved one another but when that time came to get married and live together, that there would have to be compromises. She did not want to have to live among so many animals and she did not want Sweetie Belle to have to go back to living with their parents, especially because that would take her away from her friends.
Fluttershy too was thinking about this. She loved her animals dearly but she also loved Rarity dearly. She began to wonder if her animals would be ok living there without her as long as she fed them on a daily basis or perhaps the girls could take care of them and maybe earn their cutie marks. As she pulled herself closer to Rarity, she realized that her love for Rarity was infinite and that any sacrifice she would make when the time arrived would be worth it.
