"Now entering Ponyville station! Please watch your step and take all belongings with you when you go and have a very nice day."
Those were the words of the train attendant earth pony as the train pulled into the station. After he said this and the smoke and steam from the train cleared off stepped many ponies of various size, color and race. But one among them was different from the others. That is in the sense that he unlike most of the other ponies, who only wore a vest or minimal amounts of clothing, he was clad in a blue Jump suit with many pockets. He was also wearing matching goggles with black tented lenses and golden colored trim atop his forehead. He also was wearing a saddle bag that was packed to the brim and looked quite heavy but the pony, more specifically a unicorn, seemed to be able to handle it just fine. Speaking of the unicorn he was a slightly tall pony with a medium, but slightly muscular build that showed he was no stranger to hard work. His coat was a chocolate brown and his main and tail were styled in dreaded locks, his tail of medium length with a red ribbon at the base to signify that he was a kicker and the locks of his mane, slicked back and held there by his aforementioned goggles. His blue eyes surveyed the station. It was small and there weren't many ponies but then Ponyville was a small town whose main exports were Sweet Apple Acers, who he was a personally big fan of, The fashion designer Rarity, who, he didn't know if she would remember, designed his jump suit, and was he home of the elements of harmony and the newly crowned Princess Twilight Sparkle, who the stallion was actually there to see.
He pulled a gold pocket watch from his suit and checked the time. Hmm, he was a bit early. Oh well, nothing wrong with that. He then put the watch away, hitched up his saddle bag and started walking away from the platform and out of the station. But before he left the station he took notice, and the time to study, a map that had been placed on a billboard that showed the station, how to get to Ponyvilie, as well as Sweet Apple Acers, and the nearby Everfree forest which had a warning to stay out of it. He had heard stories that the forest was dangerous but and never actually seen the place himself. And luckily or unluckily, he was just crazy enough to want to try and enter there atleast once. He would also like to visit Sweet Apple Acers but of course business before pleasure. The stallion took another moment to make sure he had the map memorized before continuing on. As he left the station and arrived at the road towards Ponyville the unicorn stallion couldn't help but wonder how he had gotten to his point. One second he was visiting his mentor and the next he was being given a task by Princess Celestia herself to go to Ponyville and help the town with the repairs after the attack by Tirek. Ok so she gave it to his mentor who deviated the task to him but you know, semantics. Apparently Princess Sparkle was expecting him which was good, less trouble on his end. He wondered what she was like. He had heard she was quite studious, book worm-ish even. He didn't mind this since he also liked to read. He had also heard she was into science. Which was also something they had in common. He wondered if he would be able to meet the rest of the elements of harmony but doubted it since he would be so busy. As he continued to walk he soon found himself walking past a broken wagon on the side of the road. The male pony then stopped and examined it. It seemed to be filled with supplies like lumber hay, buckets, sacks of... something and had a broken wheel and was missing a few screws nuts and bolts that held it together. Other then that it seemed to be in pretty good condition. He looked around for any sign of the wagon's owner but didn't see anypony else so he raised an eyebrow and looked at the wagon again. It was then he felt the urge, he couldn't help it. He had to do it. And so his horn began to glow blue and his saddle bag opened on one side and out came a tool belt. It had the usual things, hammer, screwdrivers pliers, that sort of stuff all, settled neatly in its pouches. The belt then encircle the stallion's waist and closed itself. The Unicorn then smirk, pulled down his goggles over his eyes, and grabbed tow tools from his belt, one in each hoof, and spun them as he took them out before getting to work.
Applejack was not a happy camper, here she was charged with bringing supplies to Ponyville to help with the town's repairs and the Apple family Wagon had to go and bust a wheel. And then because of that she had to get Big Mac to help drag the cart back to the farm. As they walked Big Mac tried to calm his little sister and keep her from continuing to mutter and grumble words he was sure a mare shouldn't be muttering or grumbling. But then suddenly she stopped in her tracks and her mouth hung open. Big Macintosh stared at his sister and wondered what had stopped her before looking in the reaction she was and what he found mad him blink in confusion The wagon was fine. In fact it didn't look like anything had happened at all. The two earth ponies rushed over to the wagon and Big Mac raised an eyebrow at his sister as if asking if it was all a prank while Applejack tried to figure out how it had gotten not only fixed, but that wheel that squeaked and drove her crazy no longer squeaked. "What in tarnation-." She started to say before she noticed something drawn in the dirt next to it. It was a peculiar shape. It looked like a wrench turning a nut or a bolt. But the wrench had six lines going through it horizontally and at one end those lines connected with little shapes in two rows of three on either side of the wrench kind of like guitar strings. And that wasn't all, coming from the wrench, guitar, shape thing, were three musical notes. Applejack, now joined by Big Mac, stared at the odd shape. Was it a cutie mark? A calling card? Well whoever it belonged to, they owed that Pony a great deal of gratitude.
