Knocking on the door, Pinkie opened the entrance very slowly. She looked around, checking if Fluttershy was there. Laying her pet Gummy on the small cushion, she walks around the living room. It was awfully quiet there too, then again the sun just rose. She quietly walks on the tip of her hooves, trying not to disrupt anyone's sleeping.
Reaching the stairs, she pulled herself up one after the other. She made some news, causing a bit of eye flutters. But it wasn't obtrusive. Finally reaching the top floor, she heard a bit of shifting in the bedroom. She silently opened the door, checking the source of the noise.
There laid Fluttershy, constantly shifting her sleep positions with an uncomfortable look, letting out little squeaks too. Pinkie stood there, just staring in surprise. Shaking her head, she slowly said "Fluttershy?"
The yellow pegaus instantly opened her eyes and sat up, a little blush covering her chubby cheeks. Pinkie warmly smiled and walked over, "Hi! I brang Gummy, since he's been acting kinda weird lately." She cheerfully explained, but seeing Fluttershy covering herself with her blanket, with an awkward smile, "But ... Is something bothering ya?"
Fluttershy simply nodded as she slowly got out of the bed, "W-Well, i've been having trouble something sleeping lately..." She whispered.
"Oh! Why? Did something happen?" Pinkie curiously asked.
"No no! I assure you ... It's just a dumb thing, no need to worry about it..." Fluttershy quickly replied, with a really shocked face.
"Dont worry! Let me hear all about it!" She excitedly replied.
"No no, I insist..."
"Aw shucks, dont hide your feelings silly, now tell me." Pinkie smiled. However, her attention caught at a certain picture, hanging above a wall. It was Fluttershy and Caramel, standing together. Giggling, she also noticed a little heart above. "You have a crush on Caramel, dont you?"
"Y-Yes..." Fluttershy mumbled, looking down as she stood beside Pinkie.
"Ooh! What are we waiting for?! Lets go and set up a date!" Pinkie excitedly ran to the bedroom door.
"W-Wait!" A sudden shout came from Fluttershy, who is blushing. "No! We couldnt just ask him out in a date like that! He just broke up, it will be a punch in the gut!" She opened up her wings as she flew downstairs, quickly followed by Pinkie.
Once her hoof stepped on the floor, she saw Fluttershy giving some Gummy some soup, she slowly moved forward, "I almost forgot why im here," She giggled. A hoof wrapped around her body as Fluttershy giggled too.
Fluttershy then stood there on a moment of silence, scratching the floor, "Well, i remember him saying that he may be free tomorrow..."
"Yes! That'll be perfect!" Fangirling, Pinkie ran upstairs, looking for the perfect outfit. Sighing, Fluttershy walked upstairs again. Running rapidly all over the place, she took out alot of accessories and dresses.
"Pinkie ... At the very least tomorrow..." Fluttershy said with a dry tone, looking at her hyper friend.
"Nope, we arent leaving things until tomorrow!" Pinkie giggled as she took out Fluttershy's gala dress. Holding it in her mouth, she laid it down on Fluttershy's neck. "Wear this, Caramel will sure to find you attractive with that!"
"What?! No no no!" Fluttershy retaliated back, dropping her dress on her bed. Sighing, she quietly commented, "Fine, but can you please brush my mane. It took forever to make it look that way back in the Gala,"
Her friend nodded as Fluttershy opened her wings and put on her dress. Pinkie grabbed the brush as she the brush itself continue petting Fluttershy's mane, straightening and curling parts of the pink mane. Pinkie looked at the overall result.
"Hmm, something's missing..." She commented. She took a pink, butterfly shaped pin from the table and placed it between Fluttershy's ear and mane. Taking a step back, she's satisfied with the result. "Perfect! Step two, ask Caramel out!" She said as she quickly rushed downstairs and through the door. Annoyed, Fluttershy paced herself outside.
