Has Gone Wrong

Rainbow looped in the air, then did a figure eight. She made four sharp turns, did a zig-zag, and managed to attract a crowd. The  went unnoticed by her for awhile. She made a heart, then flew up high into the clouds. Higher, higher, higher. She flew a few feet above the clouds, then, and flew through them. She made a hole in the clouds identical to the one right next to it. She flew down, gaining speed. She loved the Sonic Rainboom because it looked awesome, and of she flew downwards, she could easily gain speed. She began picking up speed more rapidly, and felt the wind blowing her mane all around. She loved this feeling. It was exhilarating. Rainbow glanced toward the crowd, and smiled charmingly at them. They all gasped, though. She hadn't made the Rainboom yet. She didn't know why they gasped. But she soon found out. She immediately attempted to slow down, eyeing the ground, which was now only a few yards below her. Rainbow's attempt helped, but not enough to stop her. She refused to give up. And that's what helped her so much.

Twilight carried a bored Rainbow Dash through the air, and landed on the steps of her friend's cloud home. "Here you go. I set up a bell system for you. If you need anything, ring the bell." Rainbow hopped off of her back, and nodded.

"Okay," the rainbow-maned mare said grudgingly. After injuring her wing, Rainbow couldn't do much of anything, being grounded for the second time. This one wasn't as bad, but she was still not able to fly. Twilight left for the library, abandoning Rainbow.

The Pegasus settled herself on her couch, deciding to nap.

Rainbow awoke to the grumbling of her stomach. She briefly thought about ringing the bell. No, she thought, I'm not helpless. But Twilight's voice rang in her head, If you need anything, ring the bell. She shook her head. She glared at the bell, and started towards the kitchen. When she entered, she gazed at the ridiculous amount of shelves. Why did I reorganize this...? She couldn't remember. Twilight probably bugged her until she did. She thought long and hard, and soon decided to put labels on the cupboards once she could fly again. She also began questioning her planning when she realized she had inconveniently put her cupboards over the stove. She facehoofed mentally. She opened her wings, preparing to take off. Once she tried, she felt as if her injured wing's bones had been snapped in half, and she collapsed in agony. Rainbow gazed at the mocking bell above her head, and blew at it. Hard. The bell just barely rang, and she hoped Twilight heard it.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Twilight fussed, a tray with a bowl of steaming soup hovering next to her. Both that and her horn had a glowing, hot pink aura around them.

"I'm fine, Twilight." The alicorn kept peeking at Rainbow's wing, still not believing it was still as bad as it was before. That it hadn't gotten worse. She'd done x-rays on the wing and different methods of checking, and Dash had still said she felt the same as before. Twilight set the tray on her friend's lap, and refused to leave. "Uhm, you don't have to watch me, you know." Twilight looked away, pretending to study the texture of the clouds below her hooves. She tried to whistle casually. Didn't work. Only made it more awkward. Rainbow grasped the spoon in the bowl with her hoof, and picked up some soup with it. She went to sip some, but Twilight interrupted.

"Careful! It's hot!" she warned. Rainbow scoffed, and set the spoon in the bowl. She picked up the bowl itself and took a big gulp. As soon as it was in her mouth, she froze. 'Rainbow?" questioned Twilight.

Rainbow screamed.

"You shouldn't have done that. The soup was hot. It will probably be better for you here, though." Twilight said. She had brought Rainbow to the library. Rainbow finished her eighth glass of ice cold water. She settled into the comfortable couch. Then she got a familiar feeling.

She was feeling devious.

She called Twilight's name as innocently as she could. "Yeah?" She called back.

"I need you to come down." Once she had descended the stairs, Rainbow asked a question. "Do you have chocolate milk?"

"Yes..." Twilight answered, Dash's question raising suspicion.

"Can you get some for me?"

"No, you are perfectly capable of getting it yourself." Rainbow made the best puppy-dog face she could.

"Please? My wing hurts!" Twilight sighed. She hesitantly went into the kitchen, and came out minutes later with the drink Rainbow had requested. The Pegasus happily sipped the beverage. She let Twilight head back up.

"Twilight!" She yelled again.

"Yeah?"

"Can you get me..." Rainbow bombarded her with things to do. After each task, she let the princess go all the way back up the stairs, then she called her back down. Each time, Twilight came down more annoyed than before. Once Rainbow had the TV on, a bag of chips, a blanket and a pile of useless things, she stopped. She rolled around many times to get comfortable, but ended up rolling herself between the top couch cushions that rested against the back, and the bottom cushions. She yelled Twilight's name, panicking. "Twilight! Help me!"

"You do it yourself! I'm too busy for your shenanigans!" She yelled back faintly, her speech muffled by the cushions in Rainbow's face. She had a panicked look in her eyes.

But I really have to pee!
