The Butterfly and The Flame~
Butterscotch and Flamethunder lay both underneath the green covers, the moonlight shining through the window. Flamethunder looked into Butter’s dark forest eyes and smiled. “Butters..” he said softly, still making eye contact with the cream pegasus in front of him. Flamethunder leaned down to kiss Butters. Butterscotch raised his left hoof from under the covers and ran it through Flamethunder’s mane. It was soft, gentle, and flowed down with grace. Tears stared to form in the young colt’s eyes, streaming down his cheeks and leaving faint marks. The window, being left open, let a gentle midnight breeze flow through and into the room. The green curtain sways along with the breeze and small pink petals float in and around the married couple. Flamethunder pulls away, smiling down at Butterscotch. “I love you…” he whispers to him. Butterscotch was lost in his red, ruby eyes. He blinked and returned from his daze. “What did you say..?” he asked in a soft voice. “I love you.” he replied. Flamethunder leaned in closer to Butterscotch’s ear, nibbling softly. ‘Did I hear it wrong?’ Butters thought to himself. He closed his eyes and said the same words back that made him smile. “I love you too.” He replied. They love each other so much, they promised they would never hurt each other’s feelings again. They each learned a valuable lesson. Butters soon remembers, he has to write a friendship report! He passes it off until later after their, alone time…
