Twilight Souls
Upper Ashtown, Nightmare
Previous ChapterHunter didn't need much preparation. Just a alleyway that was barely wide enough to turn around in, which was most of them in the sprawling town. He found the other half of his plan easily enough, and waited.
The Nightmare stepped into view of Hunter's alley, and he hoofed the rock he had fished out of the ash, hard. It flew just over the top of the mare's head, making her duck and turn toward him.
Hunter bowed impassively. A taunt. And the Nightmare knew it.
She worked her jaw on the hilt of the sword, stepping slowly toward him into the alley.
