Fallout Equestria: Discord
Similarity's to any other story's are unintentional I have not read another fallout story with discord in it.
Thoughts & Regrets
So I have visitors? Real visitors? I see.Oh the collective concious is a fickle thing for all I know you could just be another by-product of my mind. It wouldn't surprise me, you wouldn't be the first set of visitors I have seen. I think I shall do the same with you as the other visitors. Tell you what I am truly thinking, is this acceptable?
Ah wait of course you can only hear me. If I bore you then I am terribly sorry. Allow me to explain who I am. I am Discord the God of Chaos & Disharmony. Or at least that's what the pony's call me. My true name is Discord, that's a fact. But I am no mere god of chaos. I am Discord Caretaker of the Fourteenth universe of the Pink. The universes of the Pink are the strange ones. A mere 78 universes as compared to the trillions of the red and blue and black. What do I mean? Ah I see you are from a universe of the Orange, concepts like these don't exist there.
Well you see, all around the universes there's just... something. Its all colours & sounds & many other things that assail the eyes, nose & ears. We Draconequus live there - those of us that aren't care-taking one of the Blue, Red, Black, Green & most importantly Pink universes. But that's enough of that, I could spend an entire millennium trying to explain the concept but in the end you won't live that long will you?
Pink universes are unique due to the small number of them and another, important, factor: They can naturally create artefacts strong enough to kill a Draconequus or at least significantly incapacitate it.
My job was simple: Keep harmony at all costs, then I was cut off from anywhere else via an enormous spell. I couldn't contact other universes and I couldn't leave because of the combined power of over 1000 Draconequus keeping me locked in. It still does. Except for the collective unconscious. It's power is strange and can reach unbelievable places. Oh but I have gone off on a tangent. You see after sitting in this universe for over 12 billion years I went a bit... mad. Instead of being the benign harmony keeper I became a malevolent god of chaos & did everything I could to destroy harmony. I caused mass death and destruction.
After a while two powerful creatures called Alicorns emerged. These beings calmed me for a period of 500 years & I came to know them as Celestia & Luna. Their power was immense compared to the pony's and any other intelligent being other then the Draconequus. Something one unfortunate day set me back into madness. After a period of 276 years they re-emerged wielding "The Elements Of Harmony." I laughed at first forgetting completely who I was & where I was until they attacked.
The shock I felt as I dropped suddenly into the collective unconscious was unbelievable. Unlike my second time the petrification was instantaneous. It harmonized me somewhat, brought up ancient memory's that the madness had pushed down. But it was far from enough. I had the odd moment of clarity but nothing more. Now I am almost sane again & I regret my last act of brutal defiance.
Because of the slower transformation that time I did something horrifying in my rage which I am still watching the results of. I cast a spell that caused an instinctual hatred between the races. Even Luna & Celestia were affected. I have sat and watched over the many, many years as pony's, zebra & griffins tore each other to shreds.
The sights I have seen are truly horrifying, I have a plan though, the moment I am free I will turn back the clock, try to weaken the spell I cast. Hopefully I can destroy the spell. Another thing I shall do is pretend to be my "normal" self & get hit by the elements of harmony again. I shall become pure and benign once more. Becoming free could take aeons in which I am trapped here in the rubble of Canterlot. Whiles its true that society could advance again it will be all for naught in the end.
The war sapped this planet of resources & the mega-spells tainted the vis of the world. Another concept that even little Celestia doesn't know of yet, magic can be condensed into a substance called vis. This can be tainted although the taint destroys itself quickly unless it hits a critical mass - impossible except under world war conditions. The only fix for a critical mass is to turn back the clock, even in statue form I collect pure vis and pool it around me to use when I am free in one great time turning spell.
Oh! What's this? I can hear voices! From the universe I am in! It looks like I have been found &- oh you are leaving? I can feel it. Thank-you for listening you have been most helpful even unwittingly.
"What do ye think it is boss?"
"I don't know Earth Mover"
"It looks interesting t' me say what are those funny lookin' pools?"
"I don't know but there radiating magic like theirs no tomorrow!"
"Y' sure? Yer names Shiny Artefact not Twilight Sparkle."
"Yes I am sure Earth. I am a unicorn. It wouldn't take much to realise that their magi- WOAH!"
"Bleedin' 'ell it's crackin'!"
"HOW CAN YOU BE SO CALM I JUST REALISED THAT THIS COULD BE DISCORD GOD OF CHAOS AND DISHARMONY!"
"Who's that?"
"Me!"
"Oh god please don't kill me, please don't kill me, please don-"
"Oh well m' names Earth Mover an' the panicky unicorn is Shiny Artefact."
"I can see he's panicking."
"-ill me, please don't kill me, please don't kill m-"
"Well just for you two as a reward you get to come with me!"

This has been my first real published fan-fic ever. I don't expect to get hundreds of comments and such but telling your friends would be nice :)
