SAMMICH
Fluttershy is leisurely enjoying a quiet summer’s afternoon; sun bathing in her deckchair with a glass of water by her side, placed firmly on the soft blades of grass. The sun is high in the sky, shining its beautiful, hot rays down on Equestria, causing the air to feel mildly warmer than usual. The birds were chirping in the trees as they fed their young, and even the small, tiny insects were having a good time in the sun, lying on their backs while it’s still warm. The previous night it had rained, so the grass was wet with morning dew but the beautiful sun had evaporated it, leaving it nice and smooth, soft to the touch.
“Angel, isn’t it just a wonderful day?” Fluttershy asks.
Angel gives a nod of approval, showing he was actually paying attention to Fluttershy which he never actually does, usually he would just wave her off or something, yet today was a very nice and peaceful day, which seemed to make Angel happy for once. He gives her a warm smile before lying back down on the soft grass.
Fluttershy bends her foreleg down to pick up her water, but when she brings the cold glass to her lips, she notices that it is in fact empty.
Upon noticing, she gives a small stretch followed by a slight squeal, but quickly covers her mouth with her hooves in embarrassment. After making sure no pony was around to see her, she picks up her empty glass and places it on her back.
“Mommy will be gone just a minute, Angel. She needs another refill.”
Angel gives a slight sigh, before pulling a reflective sheet from seemingly nowhere, and lying onto Fluttershy’s deck chair, taking her spot.
Fluttershy quickly trots inside her cottage to refill her glass of water from her sink. After filling it up, she places it on the wooden surface next to the sink, leaving it for the moment while she turns around for a moment to open a cupboard, only to hear a thunderous boom from outside. Her motherly instincts instantly kick in and she gallops outside to look for Angel, who is still leisurely lying down on her sun bed, obviously not noticing or maybe even caring about the giant boom that just went off.
“Uhm, Angel, did you just hear that?”
Angel turns his head to the side, just enough so that Fluttershy can see him and shakes his head in disapproval. He quickly turns back around, bringing the reflective sheet back to his body allowing it to shine on him again, causing the heat to build up, making him feel all fuzzy.
Another thunderous boom is heard which forces Fluttershy to yelp in fear before jumping into a close by hedge, allowing just her eyes to show.
“Angel, did you hear that?” Fluttershy asks, fear thick in her voice. She quickly glances over to the deck chair to see a quivering Angel bunny. Reluctantly, her motherly instincts take over yet again and she rushes to his aid, only to capture the fearsome sight in her eyes which is stood in the center of Ponyville. A giant Sammich.
The giant Sammich was slowly destroying Ponyville, destroying the houses with its flapping baloney arms. The eyes which were now staring at her were huge olives. They were staring deathly stares towards Fluttershy.
Fluttershy jumped back into the bush with a yelp before trying to convince herself to be assertive. ‘Come on Fluttershy, that evil Sammich is hurting your friends! You can’t just sit around and let him hurt them. That’s really bad! Come on Fluttershy, you can do this!’ She thinks to herself, before jumping out of the hedge with a stern look on her face, confusing the giant Sammich.
Fluttershy keeps telling herself to face up to the giant Sammich and nothing but a few moments pass as she opens her wings and sets flight towards the huge beast.
“Now listen here mister!” Fluttershy shouts as she comes close to the Sammich, “You will stop hurting these poor little ponies; they have done nothing wrong to you! Now, you’re going to go home, and you’re going to be a good Sammich, okay?!” Fluttershy asks, now eye to eye with the Sammich.
The Sammich whimpers slightly before regaining its posture and shaking its head, getting tomatoes everywhere in the process. It then flicks Fluttershy into a tree before continuing on its path of destruction, flattening the houses one by one.
Suddenly another large boom is heard, louder than the previous ones owned by the Sammich, yet these were loud enough that they shook the very foundations of Equestria, rocking it from side to side. Out of nowhere, a deep, long groan is heard. Fluttershy peeps out of the tree to see what is going on, and she suddenly sees a giant pony stood on its back hooves above Equestria, holding his stomach. The giant looks to be wearing some sort of large barrelled thing with a handle on it. He seems to be wearing a red shirt with a lot of sharp objects lased around him, going across his shoulder to his hip. The giant pony lets out another long sigh filled groan before a sparkle in its eye appears out of nowhere.
The giant quickly runs towards the Sammich in its sights, which is trying to get away but to no avail. He picks the Sammich up, bringing it close to his mouth and gives it a little kiss. The pony whispers “Kiss me” to it, which Fluttershy could only just barely hear, before scoffing the entire thing into his mouth. Upon chomping on it, huge bread crumbs fall to the floor, wrecking some houses in the process. Once the Sammich has all been eaten up, the giant pats its stomach, letting out a small yawn then yelling “THIS TASTES GOOD!” before vanishes into thin air, leaving only the foot prints of his shoes, the crumbs of the bread and Fluttershy’s mind filled with questions behind.
“The buck just happened?” Fluttershy asks herself before fainting back into the tree.
