You slowly open your eyes, expecting to be completely encased if fire with nothing but stone and whiny souls for miles and, well, you'd half right since the few trees near you are currently burning along with the grass that. Waving your arm to force the fire out you groggly stand up.
Any idea where we are? or are you gonna continue to burn the forest down.
Taking note that your wife turned familiar is still inside you, you begrudgingly grumble back. "Fuck if I know, last thing I remember is...dying."
Don't tell me you've lost every bit of memory after I turned you cause if so then I've got about half a trillion years to fill you back in on.
"I don't mean the first death you ass. I meant getting throughly killed by that old bastard and his friends."
Oh. Well no need to be rude about it dear. SO! Any idea as to where we are? Maybe get up somewhere high so we can take a look around here since, last I remember, Hell wasn't this lush.
Trying various methods you'd normally use for flight and noticing that not a single one worked you eventually give up.
We really did die. All those awesome powers. Gone! Just like that.
"Stop reminding me." You smash your arm against the tree and it cracks up the middle.
"Well we're drained. No awesome stolen powers aside from what we've both got between us and anything I could do is still sealed."
Welp we're gonna die then. Unless you suddenly got good at magic.
"Ain't even got enough blood for that and picking on me for- wait!" You begin sniffing at the air once a familiar smell.
"I smell something amazing over towards that direction. It's like human but well better."
Well stop drooling and get on moving then! Mama wants dinner.
You start to walk towards the familiar scent in the distance with minor issues stumbling over the various roots and vines.
Sooooooo we're gonna eat this person completely?
"Not entirely sure it's even a person I'm smelling, I mean this smell, is something I could really live off. Just I can tell this is gonna be amazing"
Arriving at the hut you careful slip in through the window and look around pausing to stare at the various masks lining the walls and bottles lining shelves full unknown liquids.
So we're in Africa?
"Their's so many things wrong with what you just said that I can't believe I have to explain this. We got killed. Now, having never been staked dead before, I can safely assume that being killed wouldn't take us to Africa." You quietly reply to avoid alerting anyone awake in the hut.
Point taken. Now lets do what we came here to do.
You explore the mysterious hut and find a bedroom. After slowly opening the door and praying it didn't squeak louder then Cerberus's chew toy you see what looks to be a horse with jewelry.
This. This is what you were praising before. Great, It's not even a dragon.
"It smells better then one though." you whisper quietly and kneel closer to it
So we're gonna feed off a blinged out horse and not the humans that probably own this place? Are you trying to sparkle in sunlight cause that's how you end up sparkling in sunlight.
"This is the only living thing here. I don't hear any heart beats around besides this one. Where ever we are, it isn't Earth."
Then where the hell are we?
"Lets find out." You place your hand on the zebras head squeezing its mouth shut and sink your fangs into its neck leaning your weight onto its side while you slowly pull your source of life from it into your body.
Oh. My. Zeus keepdrinkingIwantitall.
"If we were still back home we could sell this for millions. Humans, hell even dragons never tasted this filling."
We're not drinking it dry? Why aren't you finishing it?!
"Her. Her names Zecora and no, not killing her. No point in starting off here already wanted for murdering something. Besides, this blood was enough to almost get me back to a quarter full. I don't know what it is about that's so damn refreshing." Letting go of Zecoras mouth you extend your tongue outwards to lick the bite marks so they could heal faster and then stand and face the lab.
You didn't even get enough out of her to get any significant memories.
"What else do we even need besides that the suns gonna be rising soon and that she's having company later today?" you mentally shrug
You walk out of Zecora's room and towards the cauldron, the Zebra now in an un-natural sleep.
"Now, gonna have to make something that'll make a smoke cloud and work as a distraction for when that damn sun comes up."
Oh look you remembered something important for once.
Ignoring the sarcastic compliment you begin grabbing various things from Zecora's shelves and start throwing them together into the cauldron.
----Meanwhile at Sweet Apple Acres----
Applebloom was awoken by her two closest of friends Scootaloo and Sweetiebell
"Get up Applebloom!" yelled Sweetiebell. "The suns gonna be up in a few minutes and then we get to work with Zacora on getting our potion master cuties marks!"
"Quit down or you'll wake up the whole house." Said Applebloom stuffing her hoof in to sweetie's mouth
"C'mon already and lets get going, by the time we get to the Everfree it'll sunrise!"
"All right already Ah'm up jus gimmie a minute and we'll take off." said the now irritated Applebloom
----Back at Zecora's hut----
BOOM
Smoke pours from the windows of the hut as your attempt at potion mixing literally explodes in your face.
You even know what you're doing.
"Guess missing powers also meant the memories with them are gone too."
Did you already forget the temporarily enslaved Zebra, just have her make it for us.
"Oh, right forgot that happens after snack time."
Do you ever stop and wonder how you survived more then a year as a vampire?

You walk back to the bedroom and violently shake Zecora awake.
"Wake up wake up wake up wake up wake up wake up wake up! Need you to make something for me!" you shout at what you hope isn't a out cold Zecora.
"Master" She sleepily announces while rubbing her eyes. "I'm awake I'm awake! What is it that you require of me to make?" She replies staring blankly at you.
Oh dear sweet hell please tell me she doesn't always speak in rhymes
"How is it that that you don't know this when we I knew that after feeding and you're in my head?"
Nothing about tonight has made any sense. Anyway tell the nice pony to hurry and make the gadgets.
"Need ya to make something that'll explode into a big enough cloud of smoke to sneak away in. Preferably as fast as you can. I tried before and kiiinda made stuff go boom and made a mess, sorry."
"I can make these with haste, hopefully most of my potions you did not waste." Zecora says to you before rising out of the bed to begin working on your request. You stare at the mares flank as she leaves the room noticing that she walks with a bit of a sway to her hips even getting a peak at her marehood quickly taken in and out of view by her swishing tail.
"I miss the Centaurs. Really enjoyable when they we're up for some fun."
Is it me or does everything you bite start acting a bit more, seductive afterwards?
"Could be that's how she normally walks gutterbrain."
Well the Naga did it when you bit them, the Centaurs did it, that-

That plant you accidentally bit looked pretty damn suggestive.
"Of all the voices to be stuck in my head it had to be yours." You respond pinching the bridge of your nose.

You look out in the direction of, what you learned to be Ponyville, and not long after do you being to see the pulsing red glows causing miniature pulses that slowly contort and over lap everything giving you a view of everything, something only a monster with eyes made for hunting the living could see.
Hey see over by that hollowed out tree, is that a lizard?
"It...looks like a baby dragon."

"Master, your request is complete. Come see, I can assure you that you'll find it quite neat." Zecora announces to you from the doorway into the room.
That's gonna get so annoying. How does she not get sick of always having to speak like that.
You walk into the main room to see that Zecora has filled ten vials with a murky liquid. She places them in a pouch and carries them over to you in her mouth. You take the bag from her and sling it over your shoulder carefully so the bottles don't explode in the bag.
Behind her. Down that path we saw on the way here, three more ponies are coming but these look..smaller. Probably the ones she was meeting today.... oh fuck that means the suns coming up.
"Zecora I need to go." You say to her taking a quick look around the hut for a final time.
"Yes my master. Pease do your best to avoid a disaster." She says with a somber expression. You lean in closer to her and she nuzzles your cheek as you whisper for her to forget you were here before freeing the zebra from your control.
We're never gonna keep one, neh?
Nope, not a huge fan of stealing someones free will."
"Hurry up Applebloom we're almost there!" You hear what you can only assume to be the 3 horses approaching.
You turn your head to the sound and stare long enough to notice 3 different ponies almost in direct view of the hut.
We gotta go.
"No shit sherlock." You mutter under your breath as you quickly duck behind the hut before taking off into a full sprint towards ponyville.

"Hurry up you two, we're almost to Zecoras!" yelled Scootaloo to her fellow crusaders. The Cutiemark Crusaders were trotting along at a quick pace before finally reaching the hut. "Zecora! We're here!" Shouted Sweetiebell.
"Goodmorning Sweetiebell and friends come in come in, so your lessons we may begin." Zecora said smilling to the fillies, her eyes with a faint red glow. The fillies 3 enter Zecora's hut unknowing of the events that transpired within the hut earlier that day and of the eyes that watched them enter.

So talking horses. They're not even half human, just actual talking horses. Hell 2 of those weren't even normal horses, one had a horn and the other wings for fucks sake.

Pushing the various branches out of your way you continue along the path those 3 fillies took to walk to the hut, doing your best to stay out of eye sight. After a small time you decide to return to using your own sight and stare into the distance spotting what looks to be a village
So what, 30-60 feet away from the closest house we could duck behind? Then what? We run around causing a scene till someone shows up and asks what in the hell are we doing here?
"Shut up for a sec please? You hear that? and, no not the sound of you nitpicking this idea, the really annoying growling sound."
Huh, I DO hear that maaaaaybe turn around?
Before you have a chance to turn and face the source of the growling you feel a sharp pain in your chest and look down to see what looks to be the tip of a scorpion tail currently violating you in a less then fun way. It flings you crashing into a tree causing the pouch of vials to all shatter making a big enough boom to annihilate the tree and make a loud enough sound that would surely attract attention
How did I know getting those was gonna be a bad idea?
"......."
Oh fuck are you out cold?
".....all of my ouch." You say through gritted teeth clutching what remains of your shoulder.
Thats an ouch but now the massive hole where I'm sure some organs used to be wasn't?
You charge at the raging beast and tackle it down before you at its throat fangs bared, letting out a muffled groan as your fangs sink into its neck and begin draining its life. You can feel the warm liquid quickly draining into you, stitching together filling in the wound in your chest and repairing and damage done to you by the accidental explosion. In no time flat the Manticore lay dead, drained of its blood.
"We're gonna need to find something stronger, or at least more sustaining then normal animals."
Shoulda brought Zecora with us, or at least taken more out of her. Anyway we need to move.
"I'm to tired, between getting impaled, blown up and, fighting this damn thing." You try to kick the Manticores body out of frustration but almost collapse.
No no no nononono. Don't pass out...aww fuck. You hear is the sound of footsteps in the distance, probably scrambling to see what caused the massive explosion. Your last conscious thought dwells on noticing blood pouring from your hands and pooling up a few steps in front of you forming into a crimson red body resembling a female.
---few minutes later---
"Had to go and pass out. Fricking jerk" The crimson colored humanoid says, as it drags you unconcious form towards the closest home.
"Hurry everypony, the explosion came from this direction." Shouted what looked to be more ponies approaching.
"Guess humans aren't a thing here." It says finally putting you down.
"We're better off with them finding us, at least compared just lying in the damn woods. You better be grateful for this since we're gonna be running with no other powers here. So don't get pissy about this when you wake up." It presses its hand against your head and you dimly glow while it mutters a few words before removing its hand from your head.
"Okay, one last thing." It turns to face the direction of the oncoming ponies before shouting for help. It then proceeds to bend your arm backwards then sideways snapping the bone twice and reverting back to blood and entering through the open wounds.
Now time to play the waiting game.

"Sorry ah'm late Twilight." Said Applejack catching up, with Fluttershy in tow.
"Where's Rainbowdash? Ah figured she'dve been been all over something like this."
"Busy dealing with the stray clouds that got pushed out of the forest." Not long after saying that do Twilight, applejack, and Fluttershy come skidding to a halt to stare at the odd form that lay face down in shredded clothing.
This'd be a horrible time to wake up.
Gasp Was the only sound the shy pegasus made before quickly flying over and carefully scooping your unconscious body up
"Fluttershy be careful!" Shouted Twilight. "We don't know what that is yet. It could be dangerous."
"But twilight it's hurt." Replies Fluttershy attempting to scoop you up into her arms without moving the zig-zagging mess that is your arm.
"Ah agree with Fluttershy. Look it Twilight, it's only a head or two bigger then spike. Ah rekon if it turns out to be a big problem we can handle it." AJ said matter of factly.
Before Twilight was able to make her decision Fluttershy rushed off to Ponyville's hospital her eyes taking a slightly red tinge.
"Sorry Twilight!" Fluttershy shouts back. "I can't wait any longer!" Applejack and Twilight start after her after shaking the surprised looks off their faces and raced after Fluttershy.
"Don't worry. We're almost there." Says Fluttershy to your unconscious body
Why'd that spell take to this one faster then the others? Damn it man you better wake up soon or I'll go as insane as you from this silence.
