"But whyyyy can't I get out the paint brushes Apple Bloom tore the hair out of? I'm trying to restore them!" complained Sweetie Belle.
"I suppose, you may, I need to talk to Discord for a minute." replied the older unicorn, getting out some paintbrushes without the brush. "See you, Sweetie!" And then Rarity walked out the door.
Sweetie immediately undisguised the bag  and got the superglue. Carefully, she re-haired the brushes and cut them to the desired length. Finally, she finished, leaving no hair unused.

Rarity Buys Chalk And A Knife While Her Sister Shaves Rainbow Dash Bald
"Rarity, when you go shopping, could you please pick me up some chalk and a dull knife?" asks Sweetie Belle, walking towards her saddlebags. "I have the bits for it, I made them selling apples I bucked at Apple Bloom's house!"
"Why in Celestia's name would you want a knife? You know you are not allowed to cook!" Rarity screeched.
"It's for a suprise, I'm... carving. You might as well buy a first-aid kit as well, come to think of it." replied Sweetie as she hoofed her bits to her older sister.
Rarity left the house with a "Hmmph!", and as soon as the door closed behind her Sweetie raced into her room. Heaving, Sweetie Belle opened her window and levitated herself down. Exhausted, she rested for a minute until Rarity was out of sight.  She went over to Scootaloo's cottage, and knocked quietly. Scootaloo opened the door and with a tiny nod Scootaloo gave her an electric razor and a ride to Rainbow Dash's house.
As soon as Sweetie opened the door, Rainbow's loud snore was heard, as she often napped during the day. As Sweetie approached with a razor and plastic bag, a "CLICK, BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ" was heard as the razor turned on. Scootaloo snickered as the snoring blue mare was shaved completely clear of even any mane in sight.
"C'mon, you need to get back! I see Rarity heading for the boutique!" exclaimed Scootaloo, pointing out the white unicorn. Sweetie teleported them to their homes with a blast of magic, and used a masking spell to disguise the bag as empty.  As soon as Rarity came in, Sweetie greeted her and retrieved her items.  Nopony knew what Rarity was buying a knife for that day...
