So I was your average guy. I had a mediocre job, an okay life, things were good. Then I went to a con. Things went downhill from there. I bought a blue tinted silver pentacle on a chain of the same material and color. Turns out it was made of astral silver and full of magic. Made a rent in nearby void-space, and I was sucked right through and infused with random energies. Now I can do magic in six schools, Thaumaturgy, Alchemy, Enchantment, Sorcery, and Wizardry. Hence the title Pentagram, but the other one is Elements, which are represented by the pentagram as well. I also got the ability to scan things within my vision, and I can level up and put points into strength and the like to actually upgrade them. I've been petrified though, so I want to get out of here. Let's pull a Houdini, except with more real magic…
